The isles are too narrow. They try to pack a lot of stuff in the area. This is a safety concern. Theres a variety of Asian products to satisfy the different cuisine.
This place although has a good variety of products has many issues. I would only recommend it as an option if you are in its immediate range. The deli is nice and they have baked goods.A lot of the produce is not fresh and parking is tight and difficult. Aisles are overcrowded and narrow.Workers seemed pretty uninterested in tidying up. Can’t really say customer service is too good here.
This place has a good selection of Asian vegetables and fruits. Freshness can be a hit or miss depending on when they receive their delivery. While there is great potential here, there are a few downsides: 1) parking can be a pain as it is next to a busy intersection and only one way to get into the lot 2) The building is outdated and not very well kept 3) It is almost impossible to push a shopping cart through the isles. I recommend the owner to reevaluate the items sold and focus on selling high demand items. Remove product from the floors and end caps which make it difficult to push a single cart let alone two shopping carts. Not a lot of people go to the hot food section, probably need to reevaluate what is sold and stored in that section.
I bought this Tea leaf salad boxes recently from here. As we can see the 2 expire labels on the box, there are 2 sets expired date. Maybe these are innovative products or if not..... one date is expired on Jun 2017 and another is on May 22. I dont know which came first but I think this is a systematically failure of cover up. Its funny, sad and disappointed at the same time. I know it is hard to get things from there but honesty is what they really need this time. It is unfortunate that we got this products.
Cozy place- the kind one might enjoy slowly viewing- each and every display. Pans, stockpots, a small deli with beautiful array of offered selections, goods from many nations on the shelves. Very definitely a place worth visiting many times!
Asian Pacific Market stocks a great supply of fruit, and carries a wide selection of items in general. If youre looking to buy smaller portions of meat than you would get at, say, an Albertsons, then this will fulfill your needs. I go elsewhere for my main shopping needs, but come here when I need something in a hurry. The deli also makes a good variety of Cha lua to choose from.
Nice place, good price, a lot of things, but so tight.
Easy to move around. Seafood items, Chinese recipes are available here
As a local, I’ve been here many times. Their desserts always expire before the expiration date, the workers there also put out moldy yogurt, Vietnamese fish cake, bread etc... And the store doesn’t have enough carts for customers. Fruit/veggies section are not fresh at all, many of the veggies are yellow and dry. Limited availability on meat/seafood/fish section depends on day of the week. Would not recommend this asian store.
It was really bad. Bought a whole box of rotten mangoes. Wasted $20.
Place is small, but they carry most everything needed for East Asian market!
Good Service. Fresh Fruit Fresh vegie
The place used to be better. Now the windows are all boarded up and the place looks like Mad Max is gonna pay it a visit. It isnt in the ghetto or anything. No smashed windows. Whats the deal?
I just bought some garlic from the store and it looked fine when I picked it up but it was moldy when it got home. They must be having some problems with storage.
Nice ! Youll get everything from greeny veggies to all varieties of meat and fruits.. for cheap and best.. and cozy!!
They will have a few things youll be able to find at most Asian markets, but its not a great selection. I would go back to get certain things on the regular, but I just picked up half a salmon fillet that was absolutely rancid, and the staff is very impatient with me, so I dont even want to try to get a refund. They wont pick up their phone either
Shop here once a week and thank you.
A great market when I need certain things and dont want to get too crowded like other asian markets further away from the local area which is home for me. Get decent prices and customer service is above par compared to your average asian markets.
Clean surrounded, very organized, little expensive but thats to b, expected
As a visitor to this area this store had the items/ingredients to which I would use back home. May not be as fresh from the farm as Im used to but pretty close. Some items I seen such as the marungay fruit was skinnier than a pencil, whats there to eat after you peel the skin? Overall, Id shop here for my Asian dish needs if I needed to.
Nice place love here fruits...Mango and watermelon.
They have a lot of products available at this store. Its also a store that seems to be focused on Southeast Asian products (not really surprising judging by the name of the store). They have a large produce section, a decent frozen seafood/meat section, and even a little bakery/juice spot.
It has a lot of fresh vegetables and meats, variety of Asian foods, Mexican foods and more...
An eclectic collection of Asian and Latino foods commingled in a deceptively large store. Something for everyone!
🌺
No offense but customer service isnt helpful. The people do not understand English which makes it difficult to find what I am looking for. The atmosphere is so not sanitized. Smells awful. Meat and fish packaging is done at the same place. It is not my scene. The sea food smells bloody and unfresh. If you dont mind scavenger hunting while smelling awful as you leave then feel free to drop by.
Good Asian grocery but VERY hard to walk around.
Love this place. For all you cooking Asian Pacific island foods. Owners are very nice and pleasant.
Good place to get Asian groceries. They have a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables that you dont find at other stores. Lots of good items.
Want to get vegetables then went to the fried food section saw cockroaches in the fried fish packet....never going backk ewww
Small store but you can find almost all Asian ingredients and herbs here. The only play I can get rau má, pennywort.
I like what they sell because certain vegetables are hard to get at a regualr grocery store..the only problem is none of the employees smile or ask if we need help. But I would recommend it because of the variety of fruits and vegetables
The only place I know in the area that sells Jack Fruit! The cashier was super helpful, she picked out my Bok Choy and scanned over the rest of my groceries to make suggestions on better picks or what not. Definitely my new favorite local produce market.
Not open there posting hours 7.47pm now and when I enter in store they said they are close ... previous experience was really bad not coming here ever again ... Im going to report to best business buero also I took pictures of store close early when its post 8pm close .
Great place if you need from produce only issue is the parking lot. I always park behind to make it easier to get out I wish they would open the parking lot so I you could enter the back way as well
Always good prices if youre looking for Asian goods.
Great selection of produce, seafood, fish sauces and noodles. Ive been a regular Soopers here for years, ever since they first opened. Very nice and friendly staff too! Best fruit market in Kent!
Great deli. Reasonable prices. Usual asian market feel. Great for that hard to find ingredient or lunch that you forgot to pack lol
I buy fresh produce here. Be careful when selecting the desserts in the deli..some had mold. 😔
Good place to shop for all hard to get Asian products. My wife loves to shop there all the time.
Very nice down the earth people I love the fresh fish catfish nuggets I like that you can buy them and he cooked them for you fresh. You want some good fish very friendly people Fast customer service come shop at this Asian market
My favorite market. Best variety for fruit that Ive found in the western 11 states. The staff is very nice and helpful. Whenever Im in town I go there
They have a nice variety of items at reasonable prices. You have to go here deliberately - the entrance and exit is narrow, but it is convenient to park in the bank parking lot which has more options with a rear entry and exit.
NOT SO GOOD EXPERIENCECustomer service HORRIBLE RUDE PUSHING YOU TO LEAVE
Authentic Asian market. Its cramped and a little smelly but they have the goods. Fresh fruits and veggies, frozen squid and other seafood, when ever we are in the area we stop by...
Boy oh boy! This store has literally everything you will find in tropical countries. Their fruits and vegetable varieties are huge!! There is a mini section inside the store that has all the regional utensils and snacks.
Great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables that are harder to find. The prices are also low. They also have fresh tofu and fresh rice noodles.I wish they had a frying fish option in their seafood area.
Good store, but they should list all the price on the products. I found some without price and was hesitated to buy.
This store has many good deal for food. 3 stars for price~~ took off 2 stars for their cashier ~~ they often charge me the wrong price. Like today, the mango mark $2.99each, they charged me $4.59 each~~ the Jackfruit $3.99 per lb, they charged me $6.99. Luckily I found out before I pay. Very upset ~~ I forgot how many times, they charge me the wrong price. Hopefully they could improve this issue~~
They sell even rotten fruits at high cost. They dont lower their prices even when fruits and veggies are no longer fresh. Prices are expensive.
Went in to buy to hard to get vegetables and when I got them home they were beyond BAD! I cut them up and they were so substandard, but used them anyway because I had everything ready, I ruined it by continuing. When wife took them back with receipt they didnt want to give refund, in fact they surrounded my wife and started making problems as if it was our fault... Furthermore the place stinks bad, (what is that smell???)The only people giving good reviews to this place are their friends, because this place is very dirty and its like where they come from, not USA clean standards. You have been warned...
Best Asian and global food selections in the area. Not the cleanest, but prices are outstanding.
Great produce
Good food . family and friends yoing together one more time in life.
Love this place. The owner is very hands on.Clean and well ventilated😊Fun arrays of exotic selections.
Not bad, not much product, wish have more.
Very Bad customer environment. Lots of people pushing into one another. Very small store with little room to move around during busy time of the year (went during New years Eve). Overall good customer service (nothing excellent). But, dont go very often
Parking is abit of a problem. Not a huge lot to make parking convenient. Small store with decent items.
Man what can i say i like the place it have just what i need and more the parking is kind of ok but its really needed for alot of customers they have its not like im the only shopper here but once u enter the store u forget about the parking cause u know tonight its gone be good eaten so yeah i recommend it for any one to shop here. for me its a slice of heaven u dont have to spent alot to feed a multi family of 3+ just shop rightPs. Take care of them kids and love one
Great for anything you cant find at white people stores! (Joke) staff friendly and efficient, I wish there was a little more English labels so I dont grab the wrong herb again
Great people and great produce. Most amazing deals in all of king county.
I go there because it close to my home. But it smells in there and their isnt always fresh. Other than that its a decent place to shop.
Good selection of unusual goods that no one else got, no one speaks English in there though;hard to get customer service
Bought frozen fish cake, when I got home found out, the fishcake all frosty inside and discolored, took it back but they didnt want to give me refund. Bought their fried shrimps and fish and they were as hard as rock, I think they keep refrying it, you cant even bite it because so hard.Bad experienced!
What an awesome experience, I went in there very uncertain what several things were but this lovely lady helped me out. I ended up with an amazing lunch.
I love the store they have items you cant find in most stores.
Great company for supplying your restaurant with Asian or Caribbean produce & fruits.
You can find some exotic South Eas Asian food/spices here. Tip: dont go for the meat here.
Yessah, good market for shopping, when the market has a stink smell, I know it is a good place to shop, just like the ones in Honolulu, HI Downtown, how I grew up as kid....would not go no where else...but ASIAN PACIFIC MARKET Kent, Washington
Lots of exotic fruits and vegetables. Great selection of Asian groceries
Good parking and have quite a variety of Asian food, especifically for Vietnamese cuisine. Also have a small deli that connects to the market with pre-made food. However, the market feels so crammed and stressful to navigate around when we were there. If using a shopping cart, youre guaranteed to pumped into people.
It had the items I needed for the dinner that I had in mind.
First time here. I found what I was looking for and much more! I love getting the rice noodles, sweet & sour sauce, and rice paper for spring rolls.
NO STARSI bought oxtails 12/31/18 while browning them a worm crawled out. It was my first & last time buying meat here. I will never buy meat there again.A very traumatic experience.
I really dont know how this place is still in business...WA Health Department should inspect this store. Expiry date on produce I bought were relabled(tampered), I saw mold on other fruits & veggies and flies everywhere in the store. For your health sake stay away from this place.
Someone needs to call the health inspector to come and look at this place yesterday I went to go and get some fish because here they are cheaper for fish so while I was waiting I seen two things in the corner of my eye crawling didnt pay no mind to it thought maybe my eyes were playing tricks on on me but I happened to catch a picture of a cockroach just walking around on the freezers with the fishes so I decided to leave and go to another Market, its disgusting I just feel so disgusted thinking of all the times I bought fish from here! cockroaches probably all under the freezer! honestly somebody needs to do something about this, its disgusting and very unsanitary!
A good to buy food
Super friendly staff and low prices on fruits like Dragon fruit, papaya and guava
Love that place they got pretty much everything.
Good selection but quality?
Today with my member of family we vent to this market. As a closer grocery store to my place I always shopping with them (almost 2 y) but today sometime very bad happened. I find jack fruit with $1,49 but cashier sad I should pay $5 and when I showed him that price he didnt accept. I asked for manager store they said she is not here. Any way I saw no respect behavior of most employees there and as a long time customers my feel powerless to take my right. 🙄All of them only kidding me and make me feel sad.Im sorry to my self for two years shopping with this kinda store. Im only sorry for my self 😔Spades think does employees cant speak English well. Very hard to explain something to them.
Good place to get those hard to find items or save money on common things considered specialty at the chain grocers. Only downsides are its small, the parking lot too, and the smell from the, obviously fresh, seafood counter is pervasive.
Pretty compact not much Room to walk round which a cart
Its good for to get different items.....
Closest Asian store to home. Can be crowd but have just about everything you need.
I like Asian P.market got everything I need
No longer there. They sold it to the store next door and they removed the wall to expand.
Smelt a little funny but had some good prices
Best place for Asian Food!!
Awesome produce! lots of seafood, check the quality
Got everything you need Asian way....luvv it luvv it....
I bought some longyan from this store, the second day they got moldy. And I found out the meat section, they marked the package day started next day.I went in yesterday(was June 30th)saw some meat package said packed in July 1st.I was afraid to buy any kinds of meat from this place, because I dont know how long theyve been selling the products.
Great selection of Asian sauces and vegetables needed to make Asian dishes.
