I come to this place once a month and it seems like they don’t have any air condition. Today was 105 degrees outside and inside the store except the grocery store felt like 99 degrees. And that’s the reason for this generous 3 star ⭐️ review There’s 2 places that have good smoothies Mia More & Bambü another place that sells pickled mango and plums have good service and good quality products
Cant wait to get some extra spending money to buy some stuff I liked. I want to try the nail salon and the sugar cane juice spot. Looks yummy.
They saw one of my products was expired at the checkout line and helped me to get an exchange. That kind of attention to detail is something I never would have expected from anywhere. Also got a glimpse at their up to date temperature log for their employees. These guys are top knotch. Never had a bad experience here
If I was to compare this ranch99 to the one at Lynnwood. I would say, this place is so much smaller. The walkways are narrow, not very well stocked. And the bathrooms at the plaza were so disgusting. All 4 toilet stalls were covered with pee on the seats, filled with used toilet papers non flushed. Toilet covers and toilet papers were all over the floors. And the floors had puddles all under the toilet seats. The urge to use the restroom got scared away. If you plan to visit this plaza, try to use the restroom before heading this way.
I worked at this Wonderful place for 4 months & I really loved, enjoyed working with friendly people. They respect me as a person and my religion since I’m a Muslim They allow me to pray. The person who owns this company and his Employees have my heart. Thank you to my night shift coworker Miss you all-Love. Farduso :)
Very poor service experience, will not go again
This is a HUGE Asian market with a HUGE variety of merchandise. Meat, seafood and vegetable sections are very big.Parking is free. Its set in a mall with a variety of restaurants, a great little bakery, smoothie shops and import shops among others. When we go to Ikea, we often stop by Ranch 99 just for the fun of it.A coworker recommended the Canadian farmed fresh salmon. It was only $7.00 per pound.
Absolutely disgusting. This place should be shut down by the health inspector. Raw meat hanging unrefrigerated in the kitchen like a 15th century butcher shop.
Pretty cool little store inside of The Great Wall Mall. They have lots of good fresh Asian ingredients as well as universal stuff from all over. I used to live just up the hill before moving away and its still where I come when I need some essentials. The staff is knowledgeable and even helps with recipes when you can show them what youre attempting to make. I have always felt welcome here even when inserting myself into their cultures and food. And the bonus is that they are situated in the mall with a few good restaurants!
A day of our vacation we went to the mall. Grabbed dinner from the market. The self service. Wonderful.
Very open and well supplied market. Love their seafood selection. Its so fresh, they have tanks with well cared for seafood scurrying and swimming about. Definitely COVID compliant! Only thing missing is the warm family appeal and its would be a diamond in the rough. But for now Ill be happy with great seafood, well get to diamonds later.
Love the mangos from this place. Good price and great taste. I visit this place mostly to just get mangos :)
Bahn mi place is awesomeWe go out of our way to get sammies there
Beautiful stores front, nice working people, nice collection of Asian food outlets, but if you had to go to the public restroom, you will see what a horrible experience you will end up with. The restroom for both men & women are beyond the word nasty& disgusting. I dont know what is the reason. For all the goodness& you see up front, when you enter the restroom all that is wiped out, and what you see in the restroom disgustness will actually linger in your memory for sometime. This very disgusting standard in great wall restroom been going on for years. Some time I come to great wall to shop@ 99Ranch market which I like, I visit the the restrooms. It is always the same bad.But all the restaurants, food outlets are very pleasant
Parking was tight, store had the great selection Im used to with other locations. Lines and wait to checkout was also looking on the busy Saturday afternoon when I visited.
Is like a little mall inside they have few restaurants inside in they are good so far I do recommend this place and dont forget the store inside you get wherever you need
Nice variety easy shopping and polite people all around
Lots of good stuff. Prices are are a little bit higher than other Asian stores.
A wonderful Asian market withe a great deli and bakery. This is located in a small mall of other Asian businesses including an excellent little dim-sum shop and complete bakery!
Everything Asian. Food mostly but has a great grocery store as well. Mall style businesses for everything you need to stock up or fill up with Asian ingredients or prepared Asian food.
This place is always a good place to go. I forgot the name of the bakery to the right of the entrance to the grocery store, but their food was on point. Especially the shumai. I actually went back for more which is a rarity.
Helpful to this here fish out of water for instacart order.
So happy this place exist, you can get pho, bubble tea, dumpling, korean bbq, shaved ice, groceries you name it 😋! My fav hide out and close to home
I come here for fresh fish, but walk away with a trunk full. Great place for asian foods and hard to find meats. Tripe, duck, etc. In season grocery items tend to be top-notch and cheap. Bakery has a nice selection of grab and go items (hot-dog bun, black bean bun, etc) though cakes tend to be too sweet.
Convenient place, market and many restaurants around.
Happened three times now but their tofu, and deep fried tofu all had gone bad when tried to cook them at home the same day purchased from the store or the next day. The only thing I think was safe to buy were the instant noodle as well.
Good selection, fresh produce and yummy treats in the bakery department.
Wow, my first time there and I was impressed. I went there for produce and they had great selection and really good prices. The customer service wasnt great but I can chalk that up to being very busy. That I can live with when the food and prices are so good.
Lot of Asian veggies, meat and fish. Fish counter is usually crowded. I like the bakery items here. Fresh and value for money.
This is like an asian mall.Great local asian restaurants which is a gem.I go here to eat and shop for my asian ingredients. They have a great selection.
Before Great Wall Shopping Mall and 99 Ranch opened, there was a dearth of asian grocery shopping options in south King County and Kent. 99 Ranch became the anchor store to a whole generation of asian Americans having a chance to consistently see and eat the food of their culture. At least it was for me. While I have moved on from the area I still make a stop by here when visiting family to stock up on occasional hard to find ingredients, despite living near another asian grocery store, 99 manages to have some items I couldnt find in that one as well as better deals and prices on some things.
Bucking bulls schedule stuff and events that they have going on doesnt match the actual reality of whats Happening
Fresh seafood. Super recommended
Just like those unsatisfied customers said, this Chinese market needs improve their cleanness and train some of their cashiers be more professional. I will try to avoid shopping here if I can.
I like this market, wish they were closer to me but aside from that, the workers are very rude sometimes. Im not sure why but they have a difficult time answering questions and they would get an attitude when you keep asking. The market and products is not really my concern, its the workers. 😒😒
I love to go inside theres a place where they have nice hot steam buns and potstickers really hot to go you just have to choose and pack what you want
Most of the time the item in the weekly ads which showed in promotion is always out of stock. Asking the customer service they said the item has not arrived. Check it on the phone every 2 daysthere after, still not arrived. For instance the item in the week of April 30 through May 6 Asian taste long grain Sweet Rice at $8.98 for 10 pounds . Even the second day on Saturday I went there it was out told by the customer service.
Went here for the food rather than the market. Pho, Chinese and Japanese is all good. Left with some freshly baked cookies and at the south entrance you have got to try the Smoothie place is awesome.
Wonderful market for ethnic supplies & groceries, & housewares.
I went there to buy roasted duck and BBQ pork. Their roasted duck is flavorful. I was in hurry so I let butcher picked for me. However, I felt a bit skeptical about how they pick BBQ pork for me. And just like how I felt, I was right. The butcher literally pluck all these skinny dry strips with hard tendon (which you cant even chew) off from three different big giant stripes and sold them to me. Advise to myself and everyone, ALWAYS scan through what they have on their selection and LITERALLY pick it yourself or else they will give you the part no one want.
Not my store, wife loves it. Interesting place. Good food in the strip mall and barbershop
This place is wonderful for all the variety of merchandise. The place is in a bit of a disarray but overall you can find some interesting finds.
This store has changed quite a bit...a lot of stores in the pavilion are no longer there?? Covid? Selection was ok...isles are small and crowded. It seemed like a little bit of a walking distance from the car, store and detour for bathroom break... Maybe because it was bare...and not a lot of people? Different then what i remember...
Great variety of produce... Huge variety of fish and a decent sized meat and poultry area as well. It your basic Asian supermarket with all the sights and smells that go along with it. Endless types of soys/vinegar/chili oils. If you cant find it here better plan a trip to Asia. Dont miss the bakery in the back left corner... Asian delights, cakes and yummies are all there.
Convenient, but not the cleanest place Ive been to. The bathrooms need some serious help! But there were some good restaurants attached.
Great variety of Chinese food, delicacy, fun shops. And if you want your hair done or nails did go there
Very bad shopping experience. The inside and shopping carts are dirty. But price is competitive.
Typical Asian supermarket. I like the variety of Asian type green available vs traditional supermarkets like Safeway, fred Meyers, walmart, etc. Fresh fish and meats. Other asian related snacks and goodies - Chinese varieties mainly tho. If you are looking for Korean type food products, best to visit a local HMart.
My favorite Asian grocery store outside of Vancouver BCLots of delicious bakery items, bbq pork & duck & specialties.
Nice Asian mini mall. There is a major grocery store as well as a number of restaurants and bakery. There are other services here as well. The bakery is really good and they have steamed dumplings you can pack and go.Parking is really hectic on the weekends.
Wonderful selections and decent prices.
Good Customer Service 👍🏿🙏🏿
Really hard to rate grocery stores from other cultures. Youre already there for specific reasons. Its not like going to Safeway and somehow theyre all the same. This store is very heavy handed on the Chinese side of food. They have a great assortment of dumplings, snacks, produce is very good and the tea section is absolutely wonderful. If you are looking for Chinese specific foods Id go here but they also have other products throughout all Asian cultures.
Great store Lots of variety and choices
Chinese supermarket, it is not easy to find what you want if you are new to here. But it had a lot of fresh vegetables and live fishes and crabs.
Lately the seafood market in the back has been hit and miss. That being said, it has a good variety of restaurants inside (Vietnamese, Chinese, and Korean) and the grocery store has a lot of options. I dont think Ive ever had to wait very long to check out......they need to do a better job with security in the parking lot since a friend of mind had his car broken into when he went to pick up some food during the week in the afternoon. I suggest parking closer to the front. I still go there once every couple of weeks
I go there seen they are opened. Today is my worst experience there . The shopping Cart were stuck together, is very hard to separated . I asked the lady worker to help but she dared & point to me said “ you are young, I’m old, I don’t have energy . I can’t do this . My job only for cleaning up the floor.” I almost give up to go in but the other customer pull out the cart for me. The lady worker not even try to ask other worker for help. After done shopping, straight to cashier. There empty line on both line, my left hand line man cashier cleaning up the counter top, right hand is empty, I try to go to right hand side line, but the man cashier point me out, I asked him is meaning go to other line ? He said can’t you see, I’m busy to cleaning.I said I just go to right hand side line! so I go to next 2 lines .I feel so stressful, why the workers were so bad attitude to customer. Hope their shopping cart will fix better way & trained their worker more respectful to the customer.
I liked a bigger 99 ranch .. hope have a bigger one here, been here many times, definitely good place to grab some non USA supermarket that minus from
Great marketplace for asian goods you cant find elsewhere.
You can find good Chinese and Vietnamese foods here.
I have better success finding items I need at ranch market than at any other. Lines are also well organized, so I never wait long to get to a register, even at peak hours.
All things Asian plus dank restaurants.
Great location with tons of parking space. Grocery is so fresh and the price tag is always budget friendly. Thank you for keeping high standard in this pandemic time.
Great place to buy ethnic foods. Lots of lots of people. No keeping 6 feet apart! But the place is great.
Pacific Herbs has a great selection and the 2 Gentlemen were very kind and helpful. I went here on a recommendation and I would recommend it to others.
Prices so high and also is nobody around to help you
If youre looking for hard-to-find groceries and products for East-Asian cooking, it will be here. Sometimes theyre out of things, but they carry stuff I cant find anywhere else.
Love this place ❤ many snacks come from Taiwan 🇹🇼
Not as good as several years ago. It used to be the only chinese grocery store in Seattle vacinity, tons of selections, but not so much now. The shelves are somewhat empty and the selection is limited especially compared to Asian Family Market in Bellevue where tons of more variety of snacks, vegetables, frozen food... You name it
Huge selection. Fresh real Chinese produce like Gai Lan, Chinese Eggplant and the long round string beans that I remember eating as a kid are always available.
Reasonable prices, abundant choices!
Great variety of fresh vegetables and fruit. Fresh seafood and meat
Always a great shopping experience
It’s clean and prices are just right! They keep the 6 feet away sign everywhere during Covid so that’s a plus. They also have the free fish cleaning and deep fry too .
Lots of nice asian ornate ceramic pots for rice or flour. And furniture.plus. a grocery store.
Great options of Asian grocery items!
Best place to buy seafood
Food is great and all. It just the people who work here are so unprofessional. They are rude. Also, there are many disgruntled employees working here. If you understand Mandarin and Cantonese, the things you hear about their bosses and corporate office. Things like, “I hate my jobs”, “I get pay too little”. Too much dramas. Corporate needs to address this. I do not need drama. I get enough drama at work. I just want to pay for my food and go home without the dramas please. Corporate office, please tell your employees from airing their grievances in front of the customers. Some customers do understand Mandarin and Cantonese. Thanks you. Also, some of your employees throw customers money and food like they are mad with their situations in life. Your employees need to realize that their situations in life have nothing to do with the customers.
Its ur standard chinese supermarket lol. Their carts are pretty bad tho. Also expect to wait 10-20 minutes in the checkout line
Great assortment of restaurants and shops.
This a great Asian market and I would give it 5 stars except I think it over crowded with not as much social distancing as should be in place although they do try to keep sd at register .That being said they have great prices on produce, seafood and Asian item . I really love this market so maybe Im just being a Karen.
We enjoy this store greatly. The wide variety of foods is truly impressive. If you are looking for something different to increase your culinary curiosity, then this is the store for you.
Great selection of Asian goods. The roasted duck is excellent
I found fresh duck eggs. They had salted duck (red) and the century eggs (black).
They have creamy low sugar cakes. Like it.
