I bought my new patio furniture (Royal Terrace Aged Teak – Indigo Siesta Cushion Seating) at Chair King in Katy on Aug. 14, 2021, from Tim Stansel. I love my new furniture & Tim was so helpful! He went above & beyond to assure I was satisfied & ordered just what I wanted.Delivery was also handled on time & efficiently! it was pouring rain & the young man was still smiling & courteous! (In spite of being soaked!)Thank you Chair King, Tim Stansel, & the delivery person - sorry I did not catch his name.

Went in just to get some ideas and came out with everything we wanted for about 60% of what I thought we would have to pay. Salesman was great, no pressure. Let us wander around the store then answered our questions. When we found the chairs and couch we wanted he said, Heres a table and chairs for eating that will work great with them and everything is on clearance. They were delivered no charge within 3 hours. We decided we wanted two more chairs and he ordered those same price and again delivered no charge. Will definitely shop here again

Friendly and informative sales staff, providing access to a wide variety of patio furniture accessories and decor. Communication was great, the delivery of our merchandise was on time (Allowing for supply-chain issues, of course), and our patio set is in perfect condition. We couldnt be happier and highly recommend Chair King if youre shopping for patio furniture.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! When we purchased our patio furniture we were happy. We were sold on the quality, warranty as well as the service after the purchase.I went in to get new cushions and the paint on our table and chairs was peeling. So I wanted to see what need to happen for the repair. We were told that we would have to ship it to South Carolina for repairs. And we were responsible for the freight. We were fine with paying for the freight. After a year of waiting we never received a call back. Like everything else we figured COVID had the store back logged. So in May I went back into the store and spoke with the store manager. He assured me that he would get this resolved.Well, he somehow dropped the ball. So we found a local paint and body shop and they took care of the furniture.Just sad that we spent really good money with this company and the service after the sale isn’t what we were sold.

Stephen and Tim helped make our shopping experience for a patio umbrella at the Katy, TX store so smooth and easy. They really went over and beyond the normal customer service expectations. They were patient in answering our questions, demonstrating the product and working on the best pricing that we were very satisfied with! Looking forward to our delivery on Tuesday.

As others have expressed in their previous reviews, I had a great experience working with Stephen today. He and his manager helped me get a patio set rush delivered to our house at no extra cost. He even rolled up an outdoor rug for us and brought it out to the car as we were leaving. I didn’t feel pressured at all, and the customer service was great! I highly recommend this store.

My husband and I walked into the Katy Store and was immediately greeted by Tim Stansel, who gave us his undivided attention. Mr. Stansel answered all of our questions (some duplicates) with patience and understanding. His approach was professional with a sense of pride and pleasure. He wanted to help us. Love my new furniture can’t say enough great things about it .

I was very skeptical when my wife brought me to the store, as I thought it would not be high quality outdoor furniture at a reasonable price I was so surprised by all the styles and quality and comfort that I liked. None of the furniture looked cheap like you would find in a box store. I had been so disappointed at other stores with the lack of selection Tim was the store manager, and worked so well with us, as well as David who was the sales person. They showed us several options that we had not seen on our own, and Tim worked with me getting the features I wanted,. He even helped me with an upgrade change after the purchase that he didnt charge me for. He was able to make arrangements to have it delivered near San Antonio where we live. I am so happy with the look, quality, and comfort of our new furniture. I love to spend social time outside so comfort is so important to me, especially back support. I will be back for all our future outdoor furniture and many pool items and look forward to doing business with Tim again.

I had a great experience in the store! Steve and Tim were both very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Tim was able to move up my delivery date to a day that wasn’t originally available so my patio furniture would be delivered on my anniversary. The prices may be high for some shoppers, but sale prices are excellent and the quality of the outdoor furniture can’t be matched at a box chain store.

I was looking for two sets of bistro table and chairs. Happily they had two that coordinated with our existing outdoor furniture. Only we had to go to warehouse- not optimal but had it the same day - very happy to finish the patio project

This recommendation is long overdue. We bought a set of outdoor furniture there a year before Harvey. We bought the extra insurance. We flooded and the cushions got all gross in the flood. No problem, we had bought the insurance! Wrong, it seems the insurance doesnt cover flooding. So why the five star review? Because Tim, the store manager, personally cleaned our cushions for us anyway, all on his own. Thank you, Tim! Now, two years later, we call them again because the frame on one of the chairs has broken. Tim tells us the insurance should cover it, however, it could take 4 to 6 weeks to get us a new one. Then he calls us two days later to say our new chair is there. I love it when people underpromise and over-deliver. Tim is truly one of those remarkable people that truly does whatever he can for you.

Stephen H helped us get exactly what we wanted, and wasnt pushy, but gave suggestions based on what he heard in our conversation as we shopped. We have other chair king furniture that is still in great shape after 10 years, so we knew our investment in more items would be worth it.

My family visited this store in December of 2018 in search of some outdoor furniture and we had a wonderful buying experience. We had looked online and visited other outdoor furniture stores but none compared to the selection and price we found at Chair King. Nearly 20 years ago I bought 4 patio chairs from Chair King. They still look great! With a recent patio renovation we just wanted a different look, so I knew the only place Id go was Chair King. Tim Stansel is the Store Manager of the Katy location and a wonderful man to work with. I took in pictures of my backyard and he helped me find the pieces that would look best (and fit my budget). I had the best time choosing my outdoor furniture and the staff is so friendly! We love our patio and all our furniture is so comfortable. I wholeheartedly give 5 stars for Tim Stansel and the Katy location of Chair King. When we put in our pool we designed it to include multiple seating areas for fire pit time as well as dining. We also wanted quality furniture that will stand the test of time. Spend the money once rather than buying disposable furniture that has to be replaced. Tim helped us select chairs that function comfortably for lingering after dinner as well as by the fire. They swivel, rock and make you want to sit and visit. We special ordered our chairs in order to get the sunbrella fabric that we wanted. A couple arrived with scratches and Tim handled it without any issues. Being the perfectionist that I am and wanting the stripes on our lumbar pillows to match up precisely, he checked each one and ordered more to satisfy me. I think about his desire to please his customers every time I flip a pillow. When our delivery came and the wrong umbrella came, he sent a store employee out with the correct pattern. In a world where accepting less in quality and service is the expected norm, I’m thankful that we went to Chair King and that we met Tim Stansel. He is so knowledgeable about his products and so helpful in analyzing the choices. I would drive from across town to have Tim as my sales person!

Jessica took excellent care of us and made the visit fun for our young daughter as well by keeping her entertained while we shopped.Their prices are competitive even with online retailers and the quality of service seems excellent.
