Bianca was really exceptional. I had a lot of little returns from the course of the pandemic, and she was so kind and helpful and took her time to make sure everything was done properly. Really appreciated her going above and beyond!

Tons of craft supplies but items were out of place (minor issue). Fast response from manager to open spray paint cabinet. Check out was very slow, as usual. Last visit, the one cashier was ok but the process needs upgrading. Always go in expecting a slow checkout.

I had a rude and unfriendly experience today 9/17/21 with the cashier lady. Kindly educate your employees to be wiser with their words.

I like Hobby Lobby better but I needed some spray paint. They had what I needed behind locked case (understandable) took 7 minutes to get help, which seemed like an eternity, but good store overall.

Ordered an in-store pick up. Was sent an email that it was ready yesterday. Came today using the on my way and Im here. button. After waiting 20 or so minutes in the car I went in and hit the button for online orders. No one came immediately, but after getting someones attention the woman could not find the order. She said someone else was working on it and going to help me, but after walking around the store for 20 plus more minutes, i just canceled the order. There were definitely employees putting up inventory so it seemed like they had extra hands to help. I know it is COVID times and probably tough to find employees, but you would think that the online ordering would be pretty fine-tuned after over a year of doing it. I am thankful for the one woman who did try to help, she seemed super concerned about it, but no one ever came and followed up. So quite a bit of wasted time and a project that is now postponed.

Today, during this holiday shopping time, the checkout line was pretty long. For a while 2 people were checking out customers then a 3rd person began checking out customers. I used to LOVE this place, especially for their simple teacher discount. Now I have to join their rewards program to get a discount. Is too complicated. Now I only shop here if I need something and Im in the area. Otherwise I go to craft stores closer to me with great coupons.

They ladies there are so helpful and the department store is well organized and clean.

Great store, especially the picture framing section. I have had several items framed at Michaels and have been very pleased with the help and service! I also needed a very large and heavy gold framed antique mirror cleaned and rebacked. It was 50 years old and needed special care! Once again, Michaels did a super job! Thank you, Michaels!

People who work here are sweet I believe theyre following protocols, I waited in line outside while I was very patient. The workers there had so much more patience than me, thank you for that. My favorite art store! It has tons of good art supplies, crafts, and so much more. The only thing is that the products are on the expensive side. Overall a decent place to visit.

I drove from Sugar Land to this Katy location on Friday December 18th because the Sugar Land store did not have any meringue. I arrived just after 6 PM and was on a tight schedule. I needed the meringue on Saturday. While in line to pay, the power in the entire shopping center went dead. The store manager (Sam) came to the registers and said he expected the power to be out for a while and they needed another half hour to get their system up before they could make any debit card (or credit card) transactions. I did not have time to wait and could not come back until the following Monday or Tuesday. I visited with the store manager and asked if I could take the meringue ( $23 price tag) and come back another day to complete the sale. Without hesitation he said yes. Wonderful manager.

Was asked to leave because I cannot wear a mask even though I presented the store with my doctors note stating I have underlying conditions and I am unable to wear a mask. After the employee told me this I asked to speak with the manager they refused to give me the manager claiming they were the manager even though their ID said team member. I’ve never had this issue at any store that I’ve been shopping at especially after I present my doctors note. Way to ruin the Christmas spirit.

Everything was weirdly placed in this michael. Not stocked properly and there was only 1 register open with a long line.Maybe its the holidays... everything got disorganised and empty but atleast have more staff if you still got rush.

The cashier was so kind. I had my eyes dilated and then went to grab some art supplies for my sons homeschool project. I mentioned not being able to read well, and she was so kind and helpful.

Whats not to love about Michaels? This is my go to location and I love shopping here! The staff are always friendly and helpful and they keep the store clean and well organized. I almost always find what Im looking for here, the store seems to stay stocked well and the website is accurate to the inventory. Love this location!

He wears his mask under his whole mouth! He takes down his mask under his mouth! Whats the point! He does nothing. I feel bad for the cashiers he is useless and sees how busy the place is and does nothing to lend a hand! Dont understand how someone so uncaring can hold that position!

I visited close to their closing time. The cricut section was average. It had lots of options however the prices where labeled incorrectly on some of the products.

Good sale on carts, but no supplies for the Cricut Joy.

Ridiculously long line with only one cashier, went twice for a sheet of cardboard and have to wait 30min for it, not worth it. Go to other places.

The yarn section is a total disaster. I tried to shop at this location for yarn twice. Never again. Yarn is mixed up, all over the shelves, some have labels/some dont, there are different brands and types in the same bin. Its a mess. Each time I come to this location, I walk out with nothing because I can never find what I am looking for. :(

Got the item I liked on closing time but the staff helped me to purchase the product and extended their service even if its a last minute purchase. Hustin helped me patiently and very polite and friendly. Pamela the Manager that night was also helpful! Another lady in which I didnt get her name led me to the locked door in a friendly and patient manner. Happy to shop in Michaels when you know youre taken cared of well! Place is clean and organized.

I was very impressed by the attitudes of the sales people! I hadnt been in Michaels for a while, so had to ask for locations of some things. Each person was relational, helpful, kind and researched to help me! Other stores could learn from their sales people. The staff really made this a fun place to shop! Thank you!

I brought the kids here for coloring book activities. I have been coming here for years. The store is also my favorite place to shop as I like to paint and I buy all my tools here. I enjoy all the selections of things I can find here.:-)

Its always empty. Every time I need something its out of stock. Nicely asked employee for assistance and got neglecting look saying sorry its outI think they have minimum employees on a cash register, but no one stocks the shelves

Super sweet and helpful staff! The whole store is meticulously organized and maintained - makes for a great shopping experience. It seems like they carry supplies for every craft and hobby you can imagine (like if the craft section of Hobby Lobby filled the whole store). If you have a tendency to start projects on a whim of inspiration, dont come here! :)

If Im reviewing the actual merchandise, my rating would be a 3. It is totally average and the prices can be high unless you have a coupon. If I am reviewing the customer service, it would be a 1. Lines are always incredibly long and I was told by an employee that it would be too hard for her to do a VERY simple task. Unbelievable.

A wide variety of craft supplies for beginners and the more skilled also sells planners and other paper crafts. Classes are fun and the majority are great for kids of all ages.

Good selection of unusual sized picture frames. Check out can be a bit slow.

We had some fun at Michaels. We got some canvases that were on the great sale, and tubes of bubbles for a dollar each with a long bubble wand. I happen to use this today with my grandkids, and they were a huge hit!

Michaels does a fabulous job of custom framing. The assistance I received when dropping off my photos was beyond helpful. Not only was the young man who assisted me helpful, he was friendly and very good at his job with an eye for detail.

At cashier, there were 6 buyers ahead of me and 11 buyers behind me and they only had 1 cashier open :(. My shopping experience took longer than anticipated, but I returned what I needed to return.

Worst location. Waited to check out (no line, just me) for ten minutes because the two cashiers would not stop talking for a second to ring me up. Their coworker was visibly annoyed, because she saw and stopped stocking the store, hopped on a register and checked me out. I wish I got her name because she is the only reason I’m giving two stars.

This is my daughters go-to spot for all of her crafts or school assignments. They have pretty much everything you can think of or would need for various projects. They usually have a coupon too which always helps.

Typical Michaels chain location. It is very busy on Sundays when its major competition is closed. This particular store often looks ransacked. I wish they would offer more current/trendy craft classes.

Hobby lobby has more variety but I’d rather make all my purchases at Michaels.Although staff is great, I do wish they’d hire more people because lines are long and they only have 1 or 2 cashiers open and have a handful of employees working their shifts.

Love the craft store

The prices for this store were not only higher than hobby lobby and stores like walmart and whatnot but the store had so many ladders up and in the way you had to go around everything. The employee i spoke with had no idea where anything was and the experience was just bad all around. I went to find things i dont normally find at walmart for some arts and crafts for this kids but left with less than i would have at any other location i could have gone. Sad.

Does not always have what you need and in products has a limited variety. But in summer things they are the best

Michaels often gives you a 40% off one item coupon which makes for potential really good deals. They alao frequently have clearance sales.I love their cute toy area. My child likes to get the little containers of animals and trinkets.They have good selection on frames, art supplies, crafting, jewelery, and anything hobby focused.Their customer service is very knowledgable and kind.They also have a custom framing department. In addition to this they have a huge selection of farmhouse decor and candles.

It was the weekend before Christmas and it was chaotic and under stocked... understandable.

I love Michaels but there always seems to be restocking karts and ladders everywhere. Constantly having to maneuver around these things as a pain. Some Isles you cant even get down because of ladders and carts.

Debrah Lee is such a sweetheart. She checked me out and had such amazing costumer service.

When I am looking for items to make different crafts this is the place to go.

They framed an autographed picture for me (the framing job was perfect, no issues there), but they lost my COA that went with it. It’s a policy of theirs not to take the COA with stuff, but I didn’t know and they took it from me and said they would attach it to the frame, but then lost it. They promised to refund the price of the frame and pay me for the picture as it would be consider a ‘destroyed painting’, but they never did. It’s been over a year and a half that I’ve tried getting a hold of them and nothing has happened. It has went as high as the district manager, but still nothing. They just lost my COA and never refunded anything...terrible

As a future educator.... I can only say good things about this place. Great prices also!
