Mike at Marco is definitely a professional. My truck begin 2 weeks, and what he did quote for the repair of two passengers doors, the left front fender( my kids scratched it, and 2 vents, one near the gas cap( lower and closer to the left quarter. The Silverado emblem needs to be re-attached and the truck detailed,, all in all, its been good service. They are real busy, and from what I saw, they do amazing work! The passenger entrance still needs paint. They fixed the dent on the rocker panel, now it just needs the black paint!

Came here for a job interview. Interviewer/Manager was over 20 minutes late. I replied to a job posting that did not state anywhere that it required experience in auto-mechanics for a management position. Management did not state that experience was required over the phone while making an appointment for me. I was upfront about not having experience and they told me that it wasnt an issue. My lack of experience in the field only became an issue during the interview and they stated that they did not offer training. This would not have been a big deal usually except for the fact that I wasted several hours of my time and gas for this interview. Hopefully they treat their customers better than their job applicants.

Drop my vehicle off Father’s Day weekend receive the runaround about my car. When finally got a chance to see my car it was for from being ready for paint. The young man who previously worked there believe his name was Mike stole my money and Stopped working there this company did nothing to resolve the problem and they still have my car current till this day and Adam would not return any phone calls. They even went the extra mile to erase my comments from google. Calling corporate does nothing worst experience ever The guy stole over a little of $1000 on a $2500 ticket but when I call to check on the price they tell me the price is 3400

Very unprofessional. Told me the bucks tops there! Had my vehicle for 2 weeks still not done. Changed amounts and blamed co worker. Would not give me superior number. Mike assured me car would be painted yesterday. Jeff says today he can’t assure me anything. Shut them down. They have over 100 cars for no reason on there lot.

They painted my 1983 Fiat x1/9 and did a great job of it. They fixed a lot of my amateur body work that I was not expecting. They did a great job of it!

Maaco has always been the most price competitive of any body shop Ive got estimates from. They do a quality repair job in a reasonable time frame.

Suppose to have my cat done in a week. 6 weeks later there still not done. Im trying to pick it up and they cant get it out of the gate.They lied to me every week about it being done. snuck into they shop 3 weeks in. They havent even started on it.. i cake then or on it. One excuse after another. Will never ever do business with them again. Now i have to find another body shop to finish there work.

DO NOT EVER USE THEM !! They are unprofessional . They do not value their customer time . We dropped our truck off 7 weeks 7 weeks ago . It was supposed to be complete in TWO weeks . EVERY FREAKING week it was something different. EVERY WEEK. We brought in all the parts requested and we paid over 3,000.00 for our services. 7 weeks later NOTHING. Nothing has been done . So now we have to find another body shop for us receive service at and hope and pray that they actually did process the Partial refund. They try to offer a check like no we didn’t pay you in no check. They display no sense of Urgency. They have no remorse and provided no reasonable resolution. Honestly they can go to the hottest part of hell.

Drop my car off on Father’s Day weekend with a deposit off 700. They gave me the run around claiming my car was in paint but it wasn’t I finally was allowed to see my car on August 5.It was far from being painted but I was just happy to see my car n a slightly better condition so I allowed them to receive more of my money and I proceed with my day. 3weeks later I call to inquire about my vehicle and Mike tells me the previous person who gives out the quote ran off with clients money and erased all records for payments or wrote down the wrong amount intent to keep customers money and which he did. I placed $1750 in the previous guys hands in a matter off weeks on a $2500 job. I then asked how much said was placed on the bill he told me $400 on a 3400 bill, he said they where very sorry and they will take responsibility and will call me back at a later date. Today is September 3 and nobody called me about my vehicle so I gave them a call to see what going on Mike told me about my vehicles condition and it sounded ok but when I asked about my bill he told me the same as the previous statement. I became very upset after being told that my money was stolen and they I would have to start all over with I bill. Mike and I then exchanged words as he became very unprofessional and im the victim Mike even hung up on me like a female and refused to answer …Maaco on Troost is running scams don’t take the your business someone shut them down…also every time he called several times he attempted to raise the agreement price one time I agreed but after that I should have known something was wrong but and I sat saw with some Italian guy short mild weigh 1time the their establishment and he verified the agreed amount a few weeks prior.

Avoid this Maaco at all cost if you value your vehicle. My son and I had one classic car ready to be painted after we had done most of the body preparation plus we had three more classic cars lined up if the experience turned out to be a good one...Well, let me tell you this fellow potential customers, do not waste your money there.We brought the car in with the agreement that if we removed all the trims and did most of the patch work ourselves, Maaco was going to take care of all the Light chip and Scratch repair as written in the printed document given to us.We did just that and were under the impression that the OBVIOUS CHIPPING in the front of the car was going to be handled by Maaco otherwise my son and I we could have taken care of it.Instead, they just painted over making the car look like darn swiss cheese.It would have taken us at most a couple hours to take care of this but now we have a classic car looking terrible.Paint dripping, holes on the front end, dust painted over protruding through the paint, greasy spots under the paint, etc…I am attaching a few pictures for all to see the marvelous work!Last but not least, when I asked the “salesman” why he did not call us to warn that this was going to be an issue we should take care of before the paint is applied, he gave us a whole attitude like this is the paint job we paid for and it would cost us $700 to fix their own appalling work and when I asked why he was getting upset since I am the customer I should be the one voicing my discontent, he just walked out on me and my son without offering an alternative…Well I guess we have learned our $1050.00 lesson here and will never, ever have dealings with Maaco anywhere and will make sure we spread the word!

The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because Halo finished and helped us out. As for the rest of the company they gave horrible customer service and we’re rude without understanding or accommodating us as customers

Brought my car in for Body work and paintEvery staff member I spoke to from estimate, when I dropped it off, me calling to check on progress to them having my car done 2 days early were all very professional and courteous. .I hope I wont need body work again anytime soon but will certainly use them again and refer others to them..Thanks guys for taking such great care of me

The owner Adam owns several locations on the Missouri and Kansas. Please run away from any Maaco location and use a reputable company that cares about their clients and people in the community..This guy is a stone cold crook and will lie to you and not honor his work or promise. Its worth paying more somewhere else in the area & recv Quality and Professional work. Dont let this guy and his criminal crew rob you for your hard earned money. The team was very knowledgeable and did not talk over my head with terminology. In these days of uncertainty I was nice to deal with a company that made since. You get exactly what you pay for no more no less. Thanks to the great team.

They took the paint off my hood with whatever machine they uses cut into my hood so when they painted it the paint fell into those cracks noticeable and they would not compensate me for that 679 I paid I had to get my car back

We took our truck to this location on Troost about a week prior to our actual scheduled drop off date and left it there to be worked on. I called two days later to see the status on it and was told they were so behind, one employee out sick. so I went to pick it up and was told by the current Manager then to bring it back in a week, so I agreed to do so and said would the 19th work, since I will be going out of town. Manager said that would work and they would start on it that day and should be finished before end of the week easily. I headed back into town on the 26th (anxiously) and decided to call Maaco to see if I can pick up our truck and was told it wouldnt be ready until the end of the week. I became furious, since i allowed them to keep it ALL week while I was out of town. So now im being told it wasnt even started yet basically and now stuck several days without transportation. My truck was NOT complete until the 29th. It took 8 working days to repair a 2 x 2 section of rust. There was NO communication from Maaco to me during this whole time. I had to make the calls myself and get told the different stories every time I called. Apparently there has been some staff changes, but thats a poor excuse to communicate with your customers!!! So after picking up our truck, for some unknown reason my antenna was removed off the truck, my rechargeable flashlight was taken out of the cab area! That all will be looked into as well. Couldnt post without choosing a star... rather been none, but you get one.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER Take even your tricycle to these MORONS. I had them paint my hood and right front fender for around $775 on my 97 chev tahoe. The vehicle came back looking like you could stock it with fish with all the pond effects due to improper sanding and feathering. After several conversations with CJ, and talking the corporate office complaining, they repainted again with a better result but not $775 worth. Now the paint is peeling 15 mos later. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE AS THIS PLACE SUCKS!!

I had my car taken in for an accident and it took over a month to fix. The insurance company blamed Macco and Macco blamed insurance company. I called several times for status of my car and was finally told that they would call me.I went to pick up my car and had a punch list of items that still needed to be done. I left and the next day called to review list and was told would be ready by 2 to 2:30. I received a call at 4 pm that my car was ready and asked if punch list was done and I was told yes. I went to pick up my car for 2nd time and still had part number in white lettering on my tailgate that I previously asked to be removed. I handed over the check from insurance company and went out to leave. My car had a dead battery. I had to walk back in to get a jump start. I was told earlier that the manager drove my car and everything was good. My car was jumped started and went to leave parking lot and my left turn signal did not work correctly. I went back into parking lot and back inside. After a long discussion, I was told that was not part of the repair bill since it was my left not right taillight. I explained that if the car was driven that day, then the manager would have to turn right or left to get in or out of parking lot. I showed the pictures from the accident and the bulb was working then. Extremely disappointed in service.

I Had an accident where my front in was damaged. So came in with my car with a new bumper thinking that was all that wrong. I get told that I’m going to need more replaced than a bumper so I expected that. After I gave them car I got told 5 different times when my car would ready l, and each time I called it was a new excuse that didn’t match last excise lol. I never got a legit reason for delay until the week of me getting the car. What I was told would be a week and a half, turned into a month. I ended up calling two days after I was supposed to have it done (5th time I was told it would be done) and I spoke with someone I never talked to before. He ends up telling me that they waiting for parts that they said came in a week ago! Two hours later my car was Magically ready for pickup. Definitely not going back only good thing is my car looks good.

83 Ford Ranger with 38 years of fair wear and tear in evidence. Not too bad, though.Took it in, got an estimate and 7 days after I dropped it off, I drove a truck away from their lot that looked like it just came off of the dealers showroom floor. It looks great....thank you.

The manager, Adam, was very professional, courteous and prompt. They did an AMAZING job bringing my oxidized paint back to life.

Been there three times last 9 months. This was the first time it was almost ready on time.i called to see if it was ready( took 3 calls) and they said give us an hour to clean it up. When I got there took them 20 30 minutes to bring it out. Guess they dont know to clean as it was a mess inside and out. They forgot to put the chrome Terrian on the door and when I got home notice the license plate was on the floor board. Nice pleasant guys just real professional.

I will not go thru every specific detail but the bottom line is sloppy work, charged extra and the most important one....they didnt do the job properly! There are lots of imperfections that you can see immediately or if you look close.This was my first and last time that I am giving my car to these guys....or any other Maaco shop!

The manager Sean was the best. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. I did not get work since there this time, but he will get all if the business I can give him.

I spoke with the Manager Travis a couple times before actually making an appointment to get an estimate. He was always great to talk with helpful with any questions I had. When scheduling the appointment and bringing my truck by......your worst fear is this is gonna be a waste of time. They are not gonna give me the same deal we talked about over the phone..but much to my surprise Travis came through my estimate was exactly what we had discussed and he let me know the positives and negatives of going with the type of paint package I did...extremely helpful.When I picked the truck up, I was very impressed with the quality of the paint job. The truck looked amazing and when getting the bill it was exactly the estimated price no hidden costs added on. I would recommend the Waldo Kansas City location to anyone that wants to deal with professional people and get what they pay for. Great bunch of professionals from the front door to the back. I will definitely be taking future vehicles to Travis at Maaco. Thanks again, Mark.

After visiting the Hendrick collision center to repair the result of a driveway fender bender to my 2011 Volvo S-80 and not liking the estimate, I decided to visit Maaco. And Im glad I did! The cost was less than half what Hendrick quoted, and the Manager (Travis) worked hard to find a replacement fender in town at a reasonable price. He went above and beyond to help ensure I got a satisfactory result and a reasonable price. The work was great and the car looks as good as new. Great service and great work, thank you Travis and Maaco!

For 3 years i have been saving to get my 97 chevy Silverado painted. Everyone there was super nice and friendly. When they finished ive never could have dreamed my truck would have turned out so good. It looked absolutely amazing i will recommend them to all my family and friends for the stunning work they do

Fantastic...no bull! I have known Jared for the past sixteen years, ever since the day he took ownership of the Waldo area Maaco repair store. From day one, Jared has been all about quality and service to his customers at a reasonable price.He has done over a dozen repair jobs for me on my personal and project cars right here in Brookside....all impeccably done. If theres a problem or if your not satisfied with the results, he will make it right.If youre in a bit of a pinch with regards to costs, he will try and work with you in achieving the best possible result at a price you can accept. You may have to come up with a part or forgo a new one. In any event, he is flexible.I just picked the last of four vehicles that I had in his shop for repair and in each and every case, the finished product is nothing less than great. Thats four vehicles, an 05 Dodge Ram 2500 with a banged in quarter panel, a 91 Mercedes 350 with a case of crows feet on the roof, hood and trunk of the car, an 85 Volvo where I had a buddy muck up the lower rocker panel and finally an 08 Hyundai Veracruz with scraps and dents on all four quadrants...all returned 100% better than they were when I dropped them off.The Maaco store in Waldo has a great manager who is all about customer service...you throw in an owner who has a passion for the auto-body repair business and you now have the makings of a winning team.This guy, the owner, AKA Jared just does dam good work...and hes reasonably priced and honest. Hes done a great job over the past 15 years with this business, his employees, and let me say on a personal note, with his two boys who are an additional testament to the great work that he does. My sons 2005 Honda Accord looks like new. Travis the GM realized this car which previously was owned by my Mother In Law and only has 48k miles on it was important to our family. He did a great job working with the insurance company to obtain a fair estimate and paid close attention to many details as it was repaired. We will definitely be repeat customers and will be referring family and friends.

This probably one of the slowest Maaco locations i have been to yet. It should never take a week + to do a paint job on a car unless your employees are slow and wasting there time. I don’t recommend this Maaco to anyone that wants the work done quick and easy. I do construction and been sitting out for a week bc they fail to finish a simple paint job. Trash. I will be getting my car and never coming back. That’s for sure.

This the second time Ive been to Maaco and this one in particular and theyve always taken care of me. They always do their best to shop around and let you know your options as well as how long it will roughly take to finish the repairs. Whether you have a lot of money or going the economic route, they will honestly work with you to find the best option for you. Between its Technicians, and its Owner, highly recommend this Maaco,. Theyre good people and will always have my loyalty with the great customer service and friendliness they offer.

Ive been here twice. The first time I arrived to get a new bumper cover painted, and the bumper cover got set back twice to let the clear coat dry -- the second time being because they sprayed too much and let it run...lo and behold, there was still a thick spot of runny clear coat when I got it.Second time I came to MAACO, I had a wing with a hairline cracks that needed fixed and painted...and, not only did they not fix the crack (it looked exactly the same), but, they still charged for the fiberglass supplies, and did a cruddy paint job (they missed two parts of the wing, where the spoiler may be adjusted, and I even told them about the spoiler upfront)...months later, the paint cracked from the cold, and what was a hairline crack is now a broken wing that is going to be fixed by a more reputable, trustworthy company.

The estimator was professional and efficient. A little pricey for what I needed done, but great people.

I took my car in to get get a full paint job on my car. Just prior to taking the car into the shop I had the bumper replaced as well as everything else on it including a new reflector. They did a great paint job, however, the left reflector came back broken. When I came to pick it up I mentioned it to them right then about it being broken now and they said they would call me about it. They did not call back so I had to. They claimed they did not do it and that it must have been that way before I brought it in. The bumper and everything attached to it was put on less than a month ago and everything was brand new. Make sure before you take your car into this place to take photos and have the dates of them just in case they break something else again and claim it was there before the car was brought it. They are very nice in the beginning but once something is brought to their attention that they broke something they completely deny it. I brought my car in to get painted and I expected nothing to be broken on it during the process. Things like that happen and I understand that but they need to take responsibility to their actions. I should not have to buy something again that I did not break. I put my full trust into them with my car while I was on vacation. Thats what good customer service is.

You guys did a great job on the door but i dont appreciate that i had to clean my whole car from your work. Due to the fact the inside of my entire car was covered with dust and my drivers seat had leaves . I didnt drop my car off that way so why did i have to do your job and clean your mess? Mmmm.

I have had several cars reconditioned by another maaco my last experience was the best. The general manager at that location is what made that experience great. The attention for detail,the outstanding customer service meeting the expectations we set when we went through the estimating process. I had a car I wanted reconditioned with some rust repair when I called the location were Travis was they they were rude and let me he was not at that location. I found that he is now the general manager at this location I brought my car over to be looked at and what I found is that Travis is still taking care of customers and I was delighted to set an appointment to have my car painted he introduced me to some of the crew there they were genuine with there care I look at there finished product and it was truly amazing. If you want first class service,quality and price go to this maaco as its very obvious the owner and the general manager are top notch

Have had several cars and a custom bike painting with Jared over the last 10 years. I have never been disappointed he always knows what to do even when I didnt on some of the paint ideas. The only place I trust to get my car repaired or just a new paint job.

Friendly staff, repaired most of the damage but replaced the wrong part. Was told theyd correct it and would call me when they had it but theyve dropped off the map. Time to figure out how to replace the broken part that Ive already paid to fix.

Do not ever come here, worst work that has been done in my vehicle to date. i paid 6500 total for some rust removal, whole paint job, and for my frame to be rhino lined behind the cab. it first got painted in september and it was supposed to be a 2 week process, it is now june and its been repainted 3 whole times because of paint peeling, cracks, and everything else you could imagine. there is now dull spots on the front doors, paint cracking and chipping on the hood, paint bubbling in the wheel wells, the rust i paid to get removed is coming back and they will just tell u they dont warranty rust. on top of all of that there are three patch panles in either side of my bed i paid to get removed and what a surprise, looks as if they didnt touch them and sprayed over them. also the rhino line on the frame lasted about a week then all peeled away and you can see all the rust they were supposed to remove. the manager adam was not cooroperative at all and was rude. i asked to speak with the owner and he refused to even leave a message to the owner for me. i am now fighting to get my truck (which has a 5 year warranty) to look right and be able to sell it. each time they have it for a month an get nothing right and im left without a vehicle. overall terrible first experience with painting a vehicle. DONT GO, take your monry elsewhere before they trap you too. wish i could rate less then one star.

Tried calling to get a quote. Was asked to come in or call back in 5-10 minutes because employee was busy working on a quote. I called back 10 minutes later and the same employee said he had someone there. I told him that it appeared that he was uninterested in working on giving a quote over the phone, and that Id find somewhere else to have the work done. His response? Okay. Very poor customer service in my opinion.

I brought in a truck with a badly damaged bed panel that I though had to be replaced, amazingly they were able to restore it much cheaper and to a much higher quality than I ever would have thought possible. Travis, the manager, worked hard to get me the best deal, I couldnt be happier with their work, service and quality, I would highly recommend this shop.

Ok first time i took my fiesta here they did a great job painting and body work but didnt do there job by not fixing the structural work they left a bent strut on front right side ok fair enuff they promised to align my vehicle.....well they never did .and now i got into another reck and they left a dent in my hood, over spray is all over port covers on front bumper, my battery was dead and they broke a button for my mirror on my door panel .cj and travis dont care about the quality or customers.veary disappointed when i told them from the start the issues and repeatedly was ignored and guess what it wasnt even about the money i have full coverage insurance. Over 8,500 and i still got all these issues. Booooooooooo👎

Good and Cheap Auto Body Shop. Not Top Quality Product.

I have had several classic cars in for bodywork and paint by Jarod and his team with the most recent car being completed in Dec 2016. They have always treated me fairly and done good work. I will continue using Jarod and team and would recommend them.

This place is horrible I wasted over $3000 with them they call themselves fixing my front in back bumber only for it to fall apart 30 days later they do not know what they are doing I want recommend anybody to come here worst place ever to get your car fix I HATE THIS PLACE NEVER IN LOFE AGAIN DO NOT GO THERE THEY WILL MESS YOUR CAR UP!!!!

I took my van in for minor touch up and mentioned my van doors werent working. The owner went above and beyond to make sure all doors were working and saved me tons of money that the dealer wanted to charge me. Jim & Jared were life savers to this single mom

This was the worse experience Ive ever had to deal with a collision repair and auto painting. The management does not care about the customer nor does he care about his employees. He literally cursed his employee out right in front of for trying to fix a wronged situation that was the shops fault. The paint job on my car began to chip in a matter of days after receiving it fresh out the shop and they wanted to give me touch up paint to put on myself, come to realized they didnt sand it down which made it that much worse. I paid over 2000 dollars for this horrible tacky unprofessional paint job that they screwed me over for. I would tell anyone who is reading this review not to go to this location the owner is a horrible person that only cares about money and not about the service they provide. Ive dealt with other macco locations before that was professional and truly an wonderful experience but this ONE in KCMO was absolutely horrible. So Im out of pocket over 2 grand and still in need of a new paint job. I feel this MAACO should not be able to franchise the company name. They leave such a BAD name for the entire company itself! IT DOSENT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR

Terrible service, always adding extra charges that are in the package that you have already purchased, they are nothing but shisty watch your quote and payment info close the add just random charges. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR CAR PAINTED OR YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY! WE PURCHASED PLATINUM THEY DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT COMES IN IT! AND WILL CHARGE YOU FOR EVERYTHING SEPARATELY IN YOUR PACKAGE!!!!!

Very very slow and unprofessional, Had my car for a whole week while just fixing a dent . Each day I called they gave different dates on when my car will be ready . Ask to speak to a manager who did nothing but talk over me or speak while I’m speaking .. never again will this location touch my car !! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION

I paid them 750 dollars to paint my truck and they took 2 months to complete it. After waiting for 2 months they tried charge me 3000 dollars for the job luckily I had the printed quote I agreed too on hand. Also they missed a 3 inch spot behind my truck bumper and would not stand behind there work the paint is also peeling around the gas cap opener. I would not recommend doing business with this maacos location they are shady, rude, and unprofessional and they dont take care of there customers

SCAMMERS. They sale cars that have collision damage, covering up serious problems with cars. I got 20 miles in a car I paid $3000 for and the transmission dumped all the fluid out. It had a crack on the side of the tranny case the size of the grand canon and the tranny was shot, it looked like they used some sort of glue over the case to keep it from dumping out when someone test drove it as a temporary fix. When I took it back they said it was the seal, which clearly is wasnt. The manager is a shady low life. Do no go here. I got an attorney.

They got my car fixed fast cheap and the quality is ok
