Don’t ever ship here. They would t even tape the box for me. He wanted me to purchase it lol. I’ve shipped 100’s of times with fedex NEVER had an issue over them taping a box. His response was... that’s why it’s there for purchase.

The clerk who took my packages was mumbling the whole time about not wanting to accept my package because its a printed label, its fraud, etc. etc. This guy hates his job and shouldnt be dealing with the public. Go somewhere else.
Said it was supposed to be delivered on Monday which is today and that it was on the truck to be delivered which was at 8:16am. Been waiting by the door all day in case they knock on the door instead of ringing the bell, but nothing came. No updates on the site either. Currently it’s 5:18 and I’ve given up waiting. Definitely calling in the morning to see what’s going on
Customer service is terrible. A door tag was placed while I was at home, no knock or attempts made to notify me the driver was present with my package. I called customer service within minutes after the door tag was placed and I saw the driver leaving. Customer service assured me it would be rerouted and delivered today. I waited at home all day until 4 PM and it was of course not delivered. I was told they would make attempts to deliver on other days (all of which I was working). I explained I had already rescheduling everything for this package. They told me I could drive over 45 minutes to another state to pick up my package. I asked what service I was paying for. They said they could not refund me, even though I paid for the service and would need to contact the other company. I explained this was a horrible demonstration of customer service.They said they would send it somewhere closer for me to pick up and I would get a call. I explained that I had little faith in the system as I was supposed receive the package twice today. The manager said it would be there and I would get a call. As I was trying to explain this is not what I wanted, I was hung up on and given an automatic survey.
Used for first time and last time today!!! The man was so rude to me when I asked for help. Completely rude!! I would rather go to UPS

If I could give zero stars I would. Sadly, the guy working the counter on Monday, November 19th lacks basic customer service skills. I had to bite my tongue as I watched him be extremely rude and condescending to the woman in front of me. If I had been able to ship my item using any other carrier, I would have done so. I have worked in customer service for 30 years and even the next day I am still very disappointed in his behavior and how he handle the customer. Hopefully going forward they put someone else in charge of face to face customer service.

It said it was at my facility in my town and in the truck and then it said to be delivered my 8pm... waited all day and nothing!. I seen a fed ex guy and no package. Im so upset. I tried to call to see whats going on and it rang and rang. No answer and they were still ooen
When I arrived at the store I was instructed on how to prepare my shipping label. I requested a 6 piece of tape and they would not offer. I demanded to see a manager being that I was offered poor customer service in affixing my shipping label, and that a shipping company does not offer tape. Magically my tape appeared and after I taped the box I was told I dont need to see a manager we are done here. Dave your time and go somewhere else, or at least hire people that want to work in customer service.
This is the worst shipping company Ive ever used. I had a problem last week and reported it. I was told a supervisor would call me back and it never happened. The girl I spoke to wasnt even listening to me and kept repeating policy. She didnt want to understand that the driver made an error which resulted in the complete destruction of my merchandise. I will never use FedEx again because this is about the 7th time this has happened to my delivery. Very unhelpful employees at Kankakee location,rude and unwilling to solve the problem.
It’s easy to find although it’s in an industrial park several mikes out. You can pull up to a drop box any time of day to drop off pre-labeled envelopes and smaller boxes.
Omg the short older lady with the short dark/grayish hair is completely incompetent and slow as hell. Avoid her if you can. There is no sense of urgency there. The other Fed-Ex locations tape for you, maybe they charge, I don’t know because I use a corporate account but they don’t make you buy a whole role of tape like this location does. I will never come back here.

Not helpful need to learn how to read a measuring tape. You go on their website and find maximum shipping dimensions, you measure your product like instructed on said website. It measures fine but real close to the maximum. Ok so you drive all the way across town bring it in and wait because there is nobody at the counter. Then when they decide to help. They must decide to round up and the package is suddenly too large. Worthless place

The staff here were happy to hold on to our package while we were on vacation. It is a bit out of the way, but it is close to the interstate exit for easy access.
I was shipping a very light (less than one pound) item back to a retailer in its original shipping box, but open on one end. The box just needed 6 inches of shipping tape to seal the flaps on the end of the box. Behind the counter a female fedex employee of a diverse background ;) points to rolls of tape they have behind me hanging on the rack, and tells me that I can buy tape to seal the box. I thought maybe she figured I needed a lot of tape. So asked if she could just put a piece of tape to seal the end of a box, as they do in every other shipping place. She sternly said that I can buy a roll of tape. She also showed her disapproval of the box the item was originally shipped in. I am certain once we got over the whole tape issue, the box would become a problem. But thats only speculation at this point, because we never got that far. A bit taken aback by her unwillingness to be of any assistance, i said Ill look in my car to see if I have some tape laying around. Her response was that it better be clear shipping tape. So now she was playing a tape-police role, and if i didnt have the right tape then it would be a problem. It may not sound like a big deal, but the attitude of this fedex employee was what prompted me to write this review. She couldnt care less about being helpful. She was actually all about creating unnecessary obstacles against a successful shipment of my box. I didnt have tape in the car, and I wasnt about to buy tape from this woman out of principle. So the box would have to get shipped another time. Thanks for being completely useless, FedEx female employee of diverse background.
Hard to find but very helpful
It was less than 10 mins to close on a Friday night. They were still happy to help and greeted me like I was family. Plus they helped me out since the people sending the package spelled my name wrong

This is the worst FedEx I have been to and because of the nature of my work I have been to hundreds. Do yourself a favor and go to USPS or UPS across town.The older lady who works behind the counter was rude from the onset with no provocation. My company has return labels they send out with our parts shipments. Im not exaggerating when I say Ive shipped back hundreds of boxes of parts. First she wanted me to remove the FO stickers that are impossible to remove. Then she wasnt satisfied with the way I taped up the box. I just turned around and left. Its not worth it. No amount of reasoning works on this lady. Ill just give the package to a FedEx driver at work to return to the parts hub. I am beyond frustrated and will never return to this location. Ive learned my lesson.
The guy that attended me was a jerk. I asked for his help because I had a big package to mail, plus the fact that Im pregnant and couldnt carry it. He told me I dont come around the counter, so how did you get it in the car and you should have brought someone with you... really??

I did not actually enter the facility but my co-worker did. They wanted him to have clear tape to wrap his package, about 6 inches at most to close the package. He comes back out and said they wanted him to buy the clear tape they had at the facility. At this point he begins to rip his vehicle apart looking for clear tape, which he was not going to buy in the store. Like for real, what facility just doesnt give that to you or doesnt accept other forms or colors of tape? Anyways, he goes back into the store after ripping his car apart looking for clear tape and things I guess went south from there. The lady had attitude and was not willing to give the 6 inches of clear tape to him. Needless to say, he left the facility with his package, that did not get mailed, and was very agitated. Word of advice, if you go to this facility make sure you bring a nice fat clear roll of tape with you, like the kind you can find at Costco, and tape it up before you go into this atrocious place.
