I was able to schedule an appointment for a Sunday!!! How often do you have that option?!?The whole staff was very friendly, explained each exam thoroughly, the doctor was very nice, he explained and showed me each option available for me on contact lenses. With My astigmatism and crossed eyes (lol just kidding) has not been easy to wear contact lenses.. I can see now !! Ive only had a less than great visit here once. My son had an appointment at 3pm, we showed up at 2:50pm but ended up waiting 30mins to be seen. Then when I expressed the fact that Id be buying new frames online the doctor we saw seemed to imply that that wasnt a good idea a d that I might be to blame for my sons problem. I get it, they make lots of money selling frames but unfortunately I cant afford a replacement in store without insurance coverage (my son only gets 1 pair a year) so I found her implications irritating. But most of the time the service is great here and maybe we were all having an off day

Doctors and staff are very professional and personable. I appreciate the ease of scheduling, the text reminder system, online paperwork, covid protocol check in, and cleanliness of the office. We had never been to this location, but I like Windward Vision. They were able to get us an appointment quickly.We were greeted at the entrance, where they checked us in using their safe Covid policies and sat in a secluded area, distanced from others. The staff was friendly and helpful. They worked well with my two young boys while I sat in another room. The appointment was quick and to the point, but thorough. Ordering lenses from them is super quick and easy as well!The optometrists at WVC are professional, easy to talk to, and put aspects your vision/eye health into simple terms (I always have too many questions, so I’ve always found that helpful!) The exam rooms are extremely clean and they take extra precautions to sanitize everything, right down to the seats.TL;DR: They’re the best, don’t go anywhere else!

The doctors are good, but the front desk ladies are the worst! They are terrible with communication, and make booking appointments or getting eye prescriptions a headache.

The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I came at the recommendation of my mom who went into the store shopping for glasses at an earlier point in time. While she didn’t purchase anything, she said she was serviced extremely well which was a delightful experience. Go here over LensCrafters which is also in the mall! I have insurance coverage with VSP, which whom Windward Vision is a preferred member. Apparently they’re very popular and had a 2-week waitlist for an eye exam but was lucky enough to get called to come in earlier due to cancellations. Happy it all worked out!

There was a mess up on my scheduled appointment. But, Kaneohe Center TOTALLY squeezed me in today to assist my needs. Fast, friendly, and totally accommodating. Prices are totally competitive. Explained everything i needed to know about my eyes....Blessed beyond measure.

Despite this COVID damper, they were very courteous, patient and very attentive. The doctor’s visit with his assistant went very well and on time which is always appreciated. I didn’t catch the staff’s name who ordered my lenses but she was also very accommodating. Overall, a timely and very good appointment!

The people are nice but my daughter just got semi reply to a request over a year old. Apparently when making my daughters prescription glasses they could no complete because they could not get the frame. A year later when my daughter checked on the delay they finally told her the problem about the frame. So she cancelled the order because she found another company that could do the job. They said they needed to get clearance on the refund and now another year later they claimed to have written the refund to her dad who is not on her plan as she is an adult.. And when asked claims he cant remember. Sad service.

Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating. Very satisfied with doctors there too plus the hours of operation are great. All around great place for eye care.

Conveniently located in Windward Mall, the friendly staff of Windward Vision Center greeted me at the front of the store (Covid screening done via phone prior to arrival) and did the preliminary eye exam in a timely manner. I met with Dr. Keith Kawamura and he did a thorough exam making sure my questions were answered and went over options regarding vision changes. He made me feel very comfortable. Contact lenses were ordered and are always delivered to my mailbox quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Keith Kawamura and the friendly staff of Windward Vision Center.

Pretty good explaining stuff for eye exam but I was waiting along time to be seen. They need to be a little more organized in dealing with eye exams n other people purchasing glasses. I was there for 3 hrs just to do an eye exam that only took 15 min. All I’m saying is be more on it for customer service n not let them wait to long.

Dr Machida is the best! He is very knowledgeable and thoughtful, while funny and personable at the same time. He explains why your vision may be changing, demonstrates what exercises you can do in case you have a lazy eye. If you have the retinal scan, Dr Machida explains what it shows in great detail. I appreciate their state-of-the-art equipment too! He always has the latest selection of contact lenses in the state and a nice selection of designer eye glasses. Their staff is so friendly and helpful. It is a family like atmosphere and an overall very enjoyable and entertaining experience every time!

This was our first time coming to this location. My college daughter needed her eyes checked to see if her perscription changed. Making the appointment over the phone was easy, super friendly staff. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile, it just took a second to check in. Within 5 minutes we were called back. The tech and dr were so very nice and very thorough. My daughter had her eyes checked, we ordered contacts, checked out and were out in under an hour. Easy. Will definitely return and let friends know this is the place to go. The staff are very friendly and some that recognize you call you by name. They did the regular testing and ask if I would like to do try a new machine for a little bit more. I did opt to do a scan with that machine and found out that I qualified for cataract surgery which I had been trying for years to have done. What he found from that machine made the surgery possible. Everything went well. Thank you.
