Bought a brand new BMW m550i xdrive which I picked up May 6th from this dealership. On my way back to Memphis I happened to notice some spots on the interior post next to windshield. I called the dealership about it and after going back and forth with the salesman and the sales manager they suggested that I take the car to a detail shop in Memphis. I asked who to send the bill to? They basically said they would not take care it and it would be at my expense. FYI- I couldn’t see the spots or smudges under the lighting at the dealership but could under low light when driving back. I really find it difficult to believe a BMW dealership would treat any customer in this manner! As a result of this I have contacted BMW customer care for their assistance in this matter. Thank you! Bad Business!!! My brothers BMW hit a curb, and they had to replace a wheel, front and rear control arms. I filed a claim with GEICO (my insurance provider) and got an estimate for around $3500. When I went to drop off the car, the service manager(Bill Mann) told me that BMW of North America would reimburse me for the rental cost(As I am traveling out of state and they dont give loaners out-of-state). And I was also told that my rental car cost should be less than $40/day. I picked up a rental three weeks ago, and today, they notified me that they are not going to cover the rental cost as it was an accident. The rental cost me around 900$ to date. This is ridiculous and not the way to treat a customer at all.

I had a bitter experience with Zeigler when i went to buy a used car. I traveled from Detroit to Kalamazoo to test drive 2 cars. I ended up liking one, which had few issues that needed to be taken care of. As an engineer by profession I devalued the car based on the issues. I was even ready to meet what the sales man was asking. Even before that the there was another customer wanting the same car. The sales guy told loud that the deal was off the table and the car is available to another sales man even before I made the decision. That was not professional and I walked away and I am glad that I walked away as I found a very good deal on a better car.I would not recommend Zeigler as they were playing games in the name of sales. Very unprofessional.

Backwoods BMW dealership shared with a Lincoln dealership. Very odd pairing. In western Michigan you have two options if you are a BMW enthusiast/owner: Zeigler, and Sharpe in Grand Rapids. Both are TERRIBLE dealerships which at best should be investigated by BMW corporate to see if they live up to BMW dealership ideals/standards. At worst they should have their dealer licenses revoked by corporate.Zeigler rarely has rentals for customers (standard for any BMW service center), they do not complete work in a timely manner, and their service department treats you on their most polite, helpful day like a Ford owner. BMW is a premium brand, and should have a premium experience.Have an upcoming oil change or repair that would normally be covered by BMW comprehensive warranty? Zeigler wont let you know its upcoming, and they definitely wont offer to complete that work while youre there for an unrelated service appointment. BMW has standard intervals for service that dealers must adhere to. Zeigler apparently has a policy to follow these intervals to an absolute T (300 miles from the interval? Need a return appointment!) with zero concern for customer, customer schedule, or repeated visits. This is only one example of poor customer service you will experience with Zeigler BMW.Having been a BMW enthusiast and brand loyalist for many years and having dealt with dealerships across the country. Zeigler is the worst. Can someone say, opportunity for a competitive dealership in this region to compete against Zeigler and Sharpe?Sharpe isnt far behind on the list of loser dealerships in western Michigan. Take your vehicle to South Bend or Indy where you can find a knowledgeable, professional dealership and service department who values the ultimate driving machine, your time, and investment.Garbage dealership for garbage people.

CAUTION!! BE AWARE!! I feel personally taken advantage of by the service department. AS a result of trying to make money off me in the long run. Makes sense right. .....Very very sad discovery..... this is my second bmw. the first one I did all the work myself. So before anyone else may think oh he might not know what he’s talking about. I generally do. BAD BUSINESS. customer concerns should not be looked over. As now I will have potentially much greater issues. all due to a very very common issue. which most would think a BMW dealer should be very aware of. not only do they not validate my concerns and look at VERY common issues. they also improperly quote for work. to make more money. I was once quoted that I needed a whole new PDC (Park distance Control) sensor **$450** or so!! All because the system was inoperative. this actually turned out to be simply corrosion in the wire harness. Removed harness and all is Working 100%. They have not made any effort to make this right with me at all. Brushed off my concerns for 3-4 times I had brought the car in. The last time was with a personal witness. I have great mechanical knowledge. I have indeed been here for this fairly common issue and stated my very worrisome concerns 3 or 4 times. at the very least. But if someone is experiencing a fairly common issue and it is not addressed by the 4th time. That now is a great feeling of being taken advantage of. Since I first got my N55 powered Bmw, I had taken it in for a overall check up of the motor all around. They changed oil. brake flush, oil pan gasket, trans pan gasket. You know VERY typical common stuff. yet looked over my valve cover and PCV. One very very common symptom of a pcv failure is a high pitch whistling noise at stop signs, red lights etc. Once engine is fully warmed up. approx. 15-20 seconds in duration. with that being said I call a very knowledgeable BMW mechanic in both colorado and california. As well as I post on a F30 Forum page with many replies. Mentioning my issues but not the dealership specifically. should I? well the calls to colorado and california mechanics where the bmw scene is much much greater. only, CONFIRMED that my gut feeling was correct. they are trying to look over my concerns and make more off of me in the long run. so after I describe issues and they now inform me yeah that’s pcv related and very very common. So now my PCV is whistling very aggressively, I do a air test near it and yep. Appears so. Also pulled all codes and codes match up with pcv failure. In result this can cause front or rear mainseals of MOTOR BLOCK to become weak, move or even leak. I had great trust in this place until I was steered wrong. on general basic maintenance. scared to go back. it now had lightly affecting my drivetrain. Have not driven car since. I do not like doing the work to my cars my self. I like to trust a dealer to do proper things. especially on a luxury vehicle. Very disappointed that I feel taken advantage of by simple knowledge. the next repair will probably have to come out of my own pocket simply because I TRUSTED the service advisor when he told me 4 times at least that this was nothing to worry about. I hope others can pay closer attention to things. Note: My friend had witnessed the 4th time I took in for noise and they brought car back out very quickly to tell me nothing to worry about. This is a review of the service department.Pros:1.The staff were friendly if unable to actually provide help or answers.2.Able to get appointments quickly.Cons:1. They do not notice basic things. I brought my car in for an oil change and a recall. My check engine light was on which I assumed had to do with the recall (I shouldnt have assumed). They worked on my car all day and never noticed the check engine light or asked me if I wanted them to check on it. When I picked it up the light was still one and when I asked them how a group of mechanics wouldnt notice that, they had no answer.2. They cant do work in a timely manner. My car was making a sound so I brought it in to them for diagnosis. I told them they could keep it all day so it could get fixed. They called at 4 p.m. to tell me what the problem was and ask if they could keep it overnight since it would take 3 hours of work to fix it. I had dropped off my car in the morning so when I asked how they werent able to do 3 hours of work in 7 hours, they had no answer.3. Incredibly overpriced! For the above mentioned sound, they quoted me a price of about $1,300 to fix it. Between their prices and poor customer service I decided to try another shop. When I brought my car to the other shop they were able to diagnose and fix it within a couple of hours plus they did it all for $275. Thats a $1,000 savings over the Harold Ziegler service center.4. Do not expect to hear from them in a timely manner. They said that to fix my car they would need to order a part. This was on Wednesday and they said they would call me Friday when the part came in to make an appointment. Didnt hear from them so thats when I decided to make the appointment at the other shop. OVER A MONTH later they called me to say they got the part in and actually seemed surprised when I said I got my car fixed someplace else since I hadnt heard from them in so long.5. I never received any apologies or explanations for the horrible customer service and pricing.Do not bring your car here to get fixed.

This place is a joke. Dont waste your time. This dealer would get a negative five star review if possible. Before making a commitment to driving two and a half hours to Michigan to see the luxury car that I was interested in, I began by calling the dealership to make sure that all the pictures and information online was accurate, the salesman confirmed. The next day when I arrived the first thing that I noticed was that the car rear bumper and trunk had damage that appeared to be from a collision. There where scratches all over the body and there was a fitly grease stain in the trunk and passenger seats. Acid spilled all over the main battery and connectors. Mounted tires where older then the car itself to the point that the TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) indicator light was ON. For the finale believe it or not found a pair of shoes on the floor behind the driver seat. FYI- they werent my shoes and no one knew who they had belong to. This car looked as though someone had a party in it and forgot to clean up the mess. When I question the sales team about the damage they were all confused as to what happens and claimed they knew nothing about it. Sorry, this was clearly a lie. I had never experienced such an unprofessional and uncomfortable situation at a dealership. In conclusion this place is very unprofessional and a waste of my time and money. They should be ashamed of themselves. To dealer response below. Please dont apologize for another bad review that you received, just let me know whos going to give me my money back for gas and time (entire day wasted). You should be ashamed.

Tom it in and the battery was replaced. Left dealership and at my next destination I turned the car off. Les than and gor later, I got back in the car it would not start. Stranded, I called dealership and was told if I got it towed back to them they would check and replace the starter. I asked why ther replaced the battery? It was repeated, if I got it towed to them they would check and replace the stated as that was most likely why it would not start. I purchased s starter at a parts store, replaced it and decided Id do my own service.I do get a sense the folks working the BMW line are good at their jobs, perform ther processes and do the work. This visit was better than the previous. My experience at Zeigler was mixed, and i would not recommend buying any of their used inventory unless it is pretty new and still has a warranty.I drove 6 hours from Cincinnati to get an 08 328xi wagon. Prior to coming up, i was very thorough in asking what damage if any the car had. I specifically asked about oil leaks, and was told there were none. i asked about body damage, i was told there was none. I asked if there were any real issues with the car, and again was told there was nothing.upon arriving the salesman brought the car around and came back in saying there was a problem, he said someone must have backed it up into something as there were some deep gouges on the driver side rear bumper. He said that it must have happened between the time he told me it was fine and my arrival, he seemed genuine, but i think the fact that no one knew about it is still worth telling of how the business operates. They did offer to send me a check to get it repaired which after getting estimates they did, so they did remedy the damage.when i was inspecting the car, i quickly noticed a very obvious valve cover leak, when i was told there were no leaks. i later found out that the oil pan is also leaking.inside the car i found that the passenger seat would not move, only the lumbar worked. There was also an issue with the navigation, it did not have the cd it requires to function. The car also did not have the key to remove the security wheel lugs. I was told by the salesman that they would get one and send it to me. After about 3 weeks of asking if he had found a wheel key, i finally got a response saying that he would need to order it. being fed up with it i simply asked for the part number and i would buy my own. I never got a response and have tried to contact them multiple times and havent gotten anything back.i understand it was a 10 year old car, but i specifically asked about these things and was lied to, I drove a very long way to come get the car and it was extremely disappointing finding these problems.i cannot recommend buying anything used from them unless you live very close to the dealership and can afford to make the trip there and be able to leave without getting what you came for. they were not willing to negotiate much for the mechanical issues, but ended up dropping $200 off the price of the car, which would have been the average price for a car marked as excellent on kbb.. If i hadnt been able to do the repairs my self, it would have been about $3000 in additional cost for a shop to do it, i ended spending about $500 on the parts.the one thing i can compliment them on is the effort they put in on getting me the loan i needed, and they were very friendly, but i still dont recommend them.
