Lee was amazing! Been having alternator and battery issues. He helped me find the issue, suggested a proper battery for my driving habits, and installed it. Even replace a bad terminal bolt in the process.

Went to pick up an exhaust pipe. Sign on the door clearly said open until 9PM. Try the door and its locked? This was at 7:15. Double check online, says open until 9PM. The store lights are all on. Someone is in there. So I call. Asked why the door was locked if the sign said open until 9PM. Was told its because theyre closed. Asked why closed if the sign CLEARLY states open until 9PM. Couldnt make out the answer over the traffic. So my son calls. Gets some runaround and attitude about being short staffed and having to work 12 hours. Apparently from another review on here, short staffed isnt a new thing. If youre not a fan of working 12 hours, being a business owner probably isnt for you. So OReilly has our business.

You can get parts anywhere. But Dave here at the westnedge store in Kalamazoo, is the Car Google guy. When he sells you a part, if there is a trick or a catch. Hell give you the headed up and make it one less trip. Sad loss ORileys. Good scoop advance. Got my money and vote.

Love this place

I primarily go here because they have free used oil disposal for people who live in their zip code. I do shop here occasionally if I am in the need of parts to complete a repair. I typically will go to Advance Autos website to see if it us stock before I go in. If its not in stock and I have the time I will order it online and have it shipped to the store. The employees are always friendly and they are knowledgeable. The location is convenient for me which is another reason why I like to use this location as well.

Best experience with an auto supply store ever. The staff worked with me on the phone and had the part I needed waiting at the counter when I arrived. When I asked if I could install the part in the parking lot, they went a step further and offered to waive the core charge while I removed the old part and rolled out a tray of tools that I could borrow if mine were not sufficient. Highly recommended!

They were very helpful in assistance with the parts I was looking for and the price and I asked for a print out of the cost for later purchase and they gave me one. Came out and took a look at the part that I would need and tighten it up for me till later on this week when I returned to purchase. Great hospitality thank you.

I went in and asked for a headlight bulb that would look blue. They come out with a $65 bulb and say this is what youre looking for we sell a lot of these. I put it in and no blue. Go to the store the next day and was told I cant have blue without some kind of kit and its not legal to have colors. I asked for a refund and was told to call the store manager Joey (who was the one who brought the light over to me). I called and he says he just cant give a refund as I didnt say I wanted blue but bright. I said yes I did and why would you bring me a blue bulb if I said bright. If you had said to me that is not possible and not legal I would have said fine and left it alone. I think they took advantage and not owing up to it.

The guys are very helpful! They installed the license plate holder and windshield wipers for me. I could have done them myself but it was nice to not have to.

Went in to have my battery checked, the guy working was on the phone and didnt even acknowledge me. Then the only battery in stock was $160! He wasnt friendly and seemed rather condescending actually. Wont be there any time soon again thats for sure!

They sold me the wrong wiper blades after insisting they look up which type my car needed. Then, when I brought them back to exchange for the correct type, they only had one of the two different sizes I needed. 2/10 would not shop again.

I am always weary of doing business with an auto parts store where employees don’t know what a fuel cap is. Another employee had to explain to the individual assisting me that a fuel cap was a gas cap. They both looked offended when I told them that I didn’t need a gas cap, but rather a diesel cap. There are many places that sell auto parts, I suggest doing business with one that knows what a fuel cap is.

Not real eager to help customers. I went there specifically for a specialized tool they had listed on their website, but employees didnt even try to find it. They just said, look over there. An older guy who works there, with a beard, is pretty helpful though. The rest of them, not so much.

Always have the parts I need and have great discounts. I also take advantage of the online pick up option, I believe they are the only auto parts store that does this, thats why I an loyal Advance Auto customer.

Didnt have a good experience with Joey. Definitely needs to coached on in-store customer service and having priorities set. Even though this location is usually not busy but it seems theyre mostly understaffed or unstaffed at the service desks. Pep boys, orielys and Autozone are nearby and will gladly match prices and offer better customer service.

I went there day before yesterday and stood in line alone for about 15-17 mins, I wasnt acknowledged nor was the person that came after me and we kept waiting till i almost decided to leave as there was a storm outside and had my family waiting. Finally Jeff W. looked and asked and completed my transaction unpleasantly. There were three people working and while they were quick in answering phone calls they didnt bother about the walk in customers. As the transaction was complete and time to sign the reciept their pen didnt work nor did they have another one, at this point i was frustrated and just scratched my sign and left. Next guy behind me was finally served and told the part he came to pickup was not available while before coming availability was confirmed to him. Next time im going to oreilys or autozone

The store manager is one of the most knowledable mechanics I have ever met. And SHE is always ready to help.

They cant seem to understand how a phone works. I have called multiple times throughout the day and not a single time did someone pick up. They talk in a very condensending mannor to you if your not a car person. They are just plain out rude.
