Dave is extremely helpful and friendly. They repaired my 2003 Honda silverwing that mice enjoyed the wiring for dinner. Service is very good here. I will recommend them to everyone.
Dave is very knowledgeable and helpful. They are all great and will help you figure best bike for your kid.
Really grateful for the repairs that life cycle could do for my scooter. It took a long time. But I dont mind due to slowing of parts availability during the times were going through. I hauled my scooter from northern michigan because I wanted the best to work on it.
A good selection of different types of bikes as well as extremely helpful staff!
Poor customer service experience. Not very friendly. Dry, sterile interaction, as though I was an inconvenience. Tossed my debit card on the counter instead if handing it back to me and didnt seem interested in seeing if they could find a part for my Moped. Ive had one other interaction with these people and it was very similar. They are probably happy to have a customer that is buying a big purchase but clearly was inconvenienced with my needs.
The best. Friendly and on time
Dave always does a good job. thanks
My go to place for all my motorcycle needs, great place, always fairly treated. Few remaining places with actual knowledge, experience and true advice you can only find from a family business, thanks Life Cycle!
Came here twice to spend some big money and walked out both times due to a seriously bad customer service. Probably judged me by my looks but he must have not seen the wad of cash in my pocket..Kalamazoo needs a good motorcycle shop and this isnt it.
Always has the parts My Son needs.
Nice place to do business
Took my bike there he told me I needed my carbs rebuilt $300 plus a kit. I picked up my bike 4 month later on my trailer it wasn’t running and the bill was $1300 will never go there again. It made me hate motorcycles I’m selling mine and I’m done with bike. Thanks life cycle you suck
Great information from staff, Ill be going back
Took the motorcycle in to have it repaired/serviced after not being driven for 2 years due to inability to drive after a snowboarding accident. After looking at the bike for an hour, a quote was given and a timeline of 3 weeks. Now, after week 4 we get a call from a man stating that they in fact are choosing not to work on the bike because its peak time and they dont know how long it will take. If I could give a negative number rating, I would. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.
Very pricey and staff are kind of clueless
We can always find what we need here and the people that work there are fabulous at helping us I would recommend anybody to go to this place
They charged me $150 to replace the line to my spark plug cause mine had torn. All they did was put electrical tape around my broken wire! Broke again the next day!!
Nice little motorcycle shop.
Great pricing for motorcycle and mopeds
Back up there work with out a problem far prices
Ive been going there for 21 years. good to support the little guy.
Life cycle is a locally owned motorcycle dealer and service center. Prices are very fair services very knowledgeable I highly recommend lifecycle for any motorcycle needs.
Excellent service. Best place for Ducati parts and service.
They are the best place to go for moped advice and moped service or parts. The manager is really nice. Hes willing to help as much as he can and make sure you get wat you need.
Great family owned businesses. Been dealing with them for a very long time. I recommend this place to anyone that needs service or parts or to buy a nice used bike.
Low key, friendly staff. No pressure sales. And lots of bikes!
Seem very friendly Dave is a good guy
Dave is the most helpful guy ever. I needed a helmet urgently for an MSF course, he arranged that for me while we were waiting for the one I wanted to come through - and hes been giving me all kinds of advice since I got the motorcycle from him, from how to charge the battery to how to get it on my truck. Plus the motorcycle has been great too, so thats a plus :)!
The good, super friendly, can order parts next day shipping, whole sale prices for members club and Dave is very knowledgeable. The bad, labor is $85 an hour and like any other bike shop, its gonna typically take forever to get your bike repaired, especially during riding season.
This shop is a total scam with incompetent mechanics. I brought my 1982 Yamaha to Life Cycle in the early spring of 2017 due to the rear cylinder back firing during acceleration. I informed them that the bike would run normally (at reduced power) if one of either the front or rear cylinder spark leads was disconnected, and that the stator was also putting out the correct amount of voltage. Now I’m not a motorcycle mechanic and I figured that this was an issue that would be simpler to be diagnosed by a paid professional and that was why I brought my bike to Life Cycle in Portage. I was required to pay $50.00 at the time that dropped the bike off to their shop to cover the diagnosing fee, which I didn’t find too unreasonable but it was odd to pay in advance. After they had the vehicle a week I called to check in on their progress. They told me that they were not even able to get the bike to start and that they had many hours into trying to get it to start. This is funny considering that I drove the bike to their shop, and also HOME from their shop. So I went to the shop and jumped the bike which now had a dead battery with my car and it started immediately. What took them “many hours” I did in five minutes. Once running I tried to have them come look at the bike while it was running because I was concerned that they might not be able to get it running again for God knows what reason. Unfortunately they were too busy trying to fix an ABS system they broke during a normal tire change to help me work on the bike I had already paid them to look at. After 6 hours of waiting I decided that Life Cycle is not a reputable shop so I went to collect my keys at which point the owner informed me that I had a bill for the additional hours they spent jerking each other off trying to start the bike. I recommend going to any other shop over Life Cycle. They will take advantage of you!
Awesome shop with a good variety of gear and bikes. The owner was very personable, helped me select a nice pair of winter gloves and pants that suited me and my budget. Not a pushy salesman, really just trying to get the best product to fit their consumers needs. He went above and beyond granting me a discount on the pants even though they werent technically included in the sale that was going on. Thank you Life Cycle, will definitely be back again!
Wow theses people, it seems like the company is struggling to stay open and they will do whatever it takes to bleed you dry. I had to to take my bike there for an insurance claim first of all they were incredibly rude to me Second problem I have with them is. They told me that my bike was being totaled by my insurance company however I had spoken to my insurance company earlier that day and they stated that lifecycle never sent over the inspection report. My insurance company said they never indicated that they were totally in my vehicle. The lady at life cycle told me that my vehicle was being totaled and I could not pick it up. I would do whatever it takes to keep your bike from ever going to life cycle. This company tried to give Vince me that my insurance company wanted them to do two separate inspections and which they charge me $85 an inspection. After speaking with my insurance company they again stated that they never said that and they only asked for one inspection. I had to pay for both before I could take my bike from their property. An agent from my insurance company and a police officer will be going there with me in order for me to pick up my bike. Triumphs are excellent bikes however I suggest buying one from a better dealership
The guys here are great. Got my tire swapped out, inspected and replaced my tube, answered all my questions, and the price was fair. The guys here are very knowledgable and are happy to answer questions. The bikes are beautiful and great sales seem to be ongoing.
They are very overpriced everything. From the work they do to the products the sell will not be back
I called to se if they could help me fix my sons 4 wheeler. I was told since I didnt buy it there that they would have to put me on the back burner.. if they had great customer service I would of probably bought my new one there. But since they treated me so rudely I will never buy there. . Be careful . There are plenty of other places out there to buy from.
Where do I even start?! These guys are amazing! Picked me up two hours away, even helped me pick up a MoneyGram to pay them with and find a hotel for the night. Their mechanic made quick work of replacing both tires, changing the oil, and charging the battery. They even aired up my trailer tires, which were embarrassingly low. In short, if you skills, awesome, customer service, amazing!
I will fix my review once you fix my vehicle. you said it would be fixed soon but then said you werent working on it when we called for an update for when you said it would be finished. as a customer i really dont appreciate being lied to or not being a priority to your business.
Sold me a Ducati and it broke down within 18 hours. I had to push it. They wouldnt stand behind it at all. It cost over $1000 to repair and still wasnt right. Never could ride it. Just took it back 5 weeks later and $340 more and its still not right. They said maybe they could repair it if I left it. I brought it home and it has one more problem now then when I took it in, in the first place. If you buy from them, they will not make anything right. You pay for everything and leave with more issues. Go somewhere else to buy! Was the worst experience that Ive ever had buying a bike.
Dropped off some carbs from my Kawasaki to be cleaned and nothing was cleaned. Gave me a price for the cleaning and charged me a higher price. They said everything looked good and put it back together. But they never took it apart. I brought it to another company that was highly recommended by a life time friend and motorcycle rider and they found a few bad parts that need replacing. Even showed me the bad parts. I give life cycle a 0 stars and they will never touch my bike ever. This place will rob you and charge you for them doing nothing. Do not bring your motorcycle here.
Raiting subject to change but am planning on buying a moped, new or used. Hopefully at a good and reasonable price as Im on social security.Putting alot of trust. Also rather support a mom n pop place than a box store.Ok, I moved it to a 5 star The people working, including Dave, where very helpfull. Even to someone who is a 1st time moped/scooter owner. even a used one.Answered all my questions.I will be there soon to ask more.Swag/free stuff is always good. Even without it I gave it this newer rating because the people i delt with make you feel like family and give you the confidence they care. Unlike a big box place that only cares about $$$ and not the person (s).
I have Yamaha bike and have taken it for repair at this shop twice and both times they have completed the job to my satisfaction. They will not anything without your permission which I value the most at this place.
They were very helpful and assisted me quickly with the service work I needed.
Great place to get hard to find parts. The staff work hard to find the parts.
Had issues with the work, owner took responsibility. Waiting on more parts and work now.
Great & friendly service!
Great pricing stayed open late for me to drop off my warrior (also happy they work on anything)
I ordered a helmet and gloves on September 29 after I was told by Dave that it would only be a couple days and was told theyd call me when they arrived. I called October 4 and spoke to Dave. He said everything was in transit and laughed when I told him Id preferred to have this in a couple days as was promised.I told him Id contact him when I got back in town because Id be gone from Oct 8-12. I called today (Oct 13) and since Im back in town talked to a woman on the phone (not sure of her name) and was told that my items would be shipped Monday.I asked if I could come by for a refund since Ive felt like Ive been lied to and treated badly as a customer. She said Ive have to take it up with Dave and thered be a restocking fee.I went to the store and Dave explained to me that he marked the order as not a rush. A lot of frustration on my part could have been alleviated if he had explained that to me from the beginning, although thats not what I had asked for. To his credit, Dave didnt charge me the restocking fee, but Ill still not be doing business with them in the future.
Happened across a woman throwing a temper tantrum at the post office while doing business for this company. I wouldnt trust people who hire grown adults that act like this in public.
Not a good place for bike service worked on my bike for four months never kept in contact I always had to reach out a new tire and some electrical issues cost one thousand dollars, very slow service and pricey wound not recomend to anyone
Not too impressed... my boyfriend was sold an $80 chain for his motorcycle.. it had to many links, so we went back to purchase the chain with the right amount of links. 🤨🤔 Unfortunately we were told they do not accept returns even with the reciept.. 🙄They did somewhat make up for this when they informed us that they could shorten the chain to the proper amount for only $5 more! 😲 What a relief! Only $85 dollars for a chain, that couldnt be returned even after the lady behind the counter told us the $30 chain would have worked as well... 😤😡Needless to say we will not be back, and we did not feel like they were out to put their customers first, they are simply money hungry if you ask me. 🤑
Friendly people informative down homeGood service.
Very personable and knowledgeable.
Mom and pop owned. Great store with friendly, helpful staff
Good service and PARTS dept
Very Helpful
These folks are knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Not a boutique dealer, these are motorcycle people.!!
Kalamazoos Ducati repair shop
I have been a customer of Life Cycle (LC) for years now and I really like the store and the folks who work there. I decided to have LC rebuild the front forks on my bike since the left seal started leaking. I pulled the front forks myself to make it easier for LC to rebuild them and save myself a few bucks in labor. I dropped the forks off on Saturday, May 12th and the guy said LC would be able to have them turned around in a week or so which was great since I had to move in two and a half weeks. I also ordered a set of HH pads while I was dropping off the forks. When I moved on Memorial Day, May 28th my forks had not been touched. I called and Nick, the new service manager, said they missed one part after the initial order since they ordered the parts before opening the forks. I had to have my forks to at least move the bike, so I came back to the store and picked up my forks where my -good- fork had been opened and was now low on fluid. I reinstalled the two (now) bad forks and rode it to LC with no front end to make both of our lives easier. I was not happy at this point and Nick offered to install my brake pads for free. It took LC two more weeks to finish after calling and Nick having to bump other appointments back. I picked the bike up last night, June 12th and my brake pads were not installed like we verbally agreed…that’s ok, I guess, because I found a loose bolt that holds my brake line on while I was reassembling the front end. I had a conversation with Dave, the owner, about my experience before I left the store and he comes off as a genuinely great guy who has built LC from the ground up. I greatly respect this, which is why I give him my business. Nick is a good guy as well and I understand he is still new, and learning. This review is only one experience of thousands and I think I just fell through the cracks at the store. I’m not sure if I’ll ever have my bike serviced there again, but I will continue to shop at LC for the good people and atmosphere. Thank you for your time.Seth
Always friendly and courteousCompetitive pricing
They were extremely helpful.
Great service.
So many amazing bikes!
Theyve treated me well since moving to Kzoo- even picked up my bike since I dont have a trailer (for a small fee).
Nice people, and great service.
Got my son an SSR 70
Kind people very helpful
Like them they are a grate bunce of people
Handprint customer service answered all the questions I needed I will go back
They failed to find the faulty intermittent coil pack that made my bike back fire under acceleration. The repair shop totally failed me. My cycle was not completely fixed and they sent it out the door anyway.
Terrible experience owners are very rude and customer service was appalling!!
Poor selection and the staff was very rude to us when we came in to get a riding jacket and some gloves.
Nice place
