Went to Sears to check out a LG washer and dryer with pedestals that I had researched online. Martin was an exceptional salesman and worked with us to make sure we got the very best deal as a bundle purchase along with delivery and installation. We left extremely pleased with our whole experience. We will definitely request Martin for our future purchases. Very personable, pleasant, easy to work with and accommodating. Well if youre shopping for beds, auto, appliances then Sears in Maui is the best place to go they do have quality stuff and they do have tools and garden stuff and clothes bedding furniture they got a lot of stuff right there as long as youre in the market for the stuff for your household and the outside you can find it there Sears is a name Sears that has been satisfied every time. Sears theres never an issue as I just love buying from them, theyre people are so helpful and educated on anything you need.

This store was a complete mess and not even very busy with customers. The only departments that were taken care of were the ones that make Sears the most money; the rest were completely neglected. Defying reason, 3 days before Christmas the fine jewelry counter in the heart of the store was shut down. There was a computer printout directing you to another area of the store where there was a sign-in sheet to wait and see jewelry! Unreal. 🙃

I will not order tires via Amazon and send the tires to Sears Auto Center for installation ever again! It was the only choice I had via Amazon so I thought it was a good idea.So, I made an appointment to install four tires at 2pm at 4:52pm they call to say they can’t locate my wheel lock. At 5:03 after looking again they find it and say they are starting to put tires on. I continue to wait with a toddler at the mall because I am stuck with no other option, 3 hours have already passed. They said it would be around 2 hours. My window for service was listed from 2-5pm. I call to check what is going on, they never answer the phone. I continue to wait at approximately 6:45pm my tires were finished.Since when does it take almost FIVE hours to install 4 tires! I thought I scheduled an appointment time for a reason. I am far from impressed and will not ever use Sears Auto again! I really recommend you go somewhere else.I also e-mailed the contact person via email to schedule an alignment they said yes no problem. I arrive they tell me they can not do any alignment, they do not have an alignment guy working anymore (this Sears advertises alignments) and I will have book another appointment and they send the car elsewhere. I contacted Sears costumer service and they said “sorry” and thanks for letting us know and we hope to serve you better in the future. Is that costumer service? Guess what Sears you have lost me and everyone I know as a costumer. I just spoke to a friend and heard similar horror stories about this auto center. Also, shame on Amazon for contracting with such an awful business!

Purchased refrigerator January 2018 with a protection service warranty. Appointed service in Jan 2019.Called Wed 18,Aug 2020. Appointment set for the 19th, next day between 10am-2pm.No technician showed up called or left a message.Called service dept. 3:15 pm.Advised me that a technician stated no one was present at residence. Poor effort by technician to contact.Note: I personally dont receive unfamiliar phone calls but expect a message of importance when required.Proceeded to reschedule and was put on hold.15 minutes passed, called back and spoke to another representative, calmly.He apologized, proceeded to reschedule another appointment adamantly for this coming Monday24Aug betwn 10am-2pm.Called Sat22Aug to reschedule appointment.Representative advised me that no record listed for such rescheduled appointment.Furious at this point.Hung up to call back later, when Im calm.NOTE: Informed representative that the services department show more effort in CONTACTING customers by at least letting his presence known by physically walking up the driveway and knocking on the door.

And when I say customer service, Im speaking about the telephone customer service people. Its been 6 months since I have been trying to get my warranty to go through and receive my gift card for replacement product. It has already been okayed yet they cant seem to get the card to me. I had 4 appliances serviced. One service person serviced 3 appliances - he was on time, explained what he was doing and completed his tasks in a timely manner. (Although I cannot tell the quality as the appliances were not in disrepair).The last appliance service person was late, actually coming an hour later that scheduled but he did explain what he was doing and competed his tasked in a timely manner.Sears service personnel have always been very courteous, friendly, efficient and on-time.

The service agent showed up on time. Efficiently diagnosed the problem with the washer . Knowledgeable on the parts required to complete the repair. And explained if there might be any timing issues. He was able to complete the repair in the same visit. Very friendly.

He had a lot of good advice to share about how to better care for our washer.Leave the washer door open.Keep it clean on the inside and you could even wax the rim inside with car wax. It tends to get rusty there.Dont overload the washer.If starts to sound noisy, its transmission that needs changing to give them a call.Use only the right amount of soap and never double the amount of soap you use.Keep it on deep fill for all your laundry needs.He said our washer is running the way its supposed to.

He asked us if we wanted to have our washer serviced while he was there, & told us the price, & we thought that was a good idea, & reasonably priced, so we said yes. Over all, excellent serviceman. He was the second excellent Sears serviceman that has come to work on our appliances.

Over the phone customer service is horrible! Just needed to get in contact with an associate from the store so I could find out if they carry soccer shoes for kids, and not a single department extension could answer the phone. Not even management! Most would say, Well, why dont you just go to the store? I dont live in or near Kahului, and to roll the dice on a trip to the store would more than likely end up being a waste of time and gas...absolute inconvenience!

I live in a remote area so it took quite a while for the repairman to get here.(they only come here once a week) Once he got here a part hard to be ordered which took another week. Three weeks later the part was put in and I was told it takes 24 hours before the refrigerator would cool down. My refrigerator is still not working and they can not come out to see me for another 9 days........... The repairman was friendly and great but there is only so much he can do.I have a 10 year old refrigerator in my downstairs and it is still going strong. Not happy with these newer models that dont last!!! Just want a working refrigerator at this point!!

The tech was very helpful on the second time around to do the repair, the tech advised that the ice maker he replaced was faulty so he needed to order one and it would take a week or so. He was talking to parts department to place the order for the replacement and he was advised that another tech had that replacement so he will try to get it and finish the repair. He called later that afternoon and did the replacement a i was so appreciative of him getting it done. He advised that it may take awhile for the ice maker to produce but it should take 24 hours. He did text me the next day to follow up on the results. I did tell him that the ice maker still did not drop any ice but I was going to give another day then it dropped 2 batches. It kind of works which means that its not consistent in producing ice. It works then we have to wait for awhile before dropping more ice. I know that it is a 90 day warranty so I will call if need be. The tech was wonderful.

The technician was only here for 10 minutes. I asked him to check the motor of the washer and I dont think he did. Although it was a little raining, his maintenance on the washer was not very thorough. I left to pick up my daughter from school just as he arrived. I left and was back no less than 10 minutes and he was gone. He told my mom that everything turned to look okay but I feel that he didnt do a great job.

PROS - It was easy to schedule an appointment. The repair person was on time, respectful and knowledgeable. CONS - My many followup calls have been fraught with foolish robots, real people who werent able to answer my billing questions, and those who continually transferred me. The last promised to have someone in the billing department contact me within 24 to 48 hours. Its now been 96 hours and Ive given up hope anyone will contact me. So I will start calling again. That effort will be followed by a letter. SEARS HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO TO SEARS FOR CAR SERVICING!So recently I went to sears to buy tires for rims that I just purchased. I wanted to replace the tires with the same size but they did not have them in stock. They recommended a different tire, similar size,that would have the same driving performance. So I dropped off my rims, and did some errands in town while they finished. When I came back, they had finished the job.....but to my surprise the tires looked a little too big to fit my truck. The store manager assured me they would fit fine and would look great on my truck. I was really excited and rushed home to put on my new rims. As soon as I put on the first tire, I noticed that the tire was WAAAAY too big for my truck. The tire was SO big that I couldnt even turn the steering wheel left or right. I immediately drove right back to sears and asked if they could take back the tires and I would apply more money towards ordering the correct tire size. They said they would not take back the tires since I did not purchase the rims from them. I remained cordial and asked to speak to a manager. The 18 year old kid behind the desk said that he was the manager for the auto center and that his superior was in California and only visited the store maybe once a month. Now I have tires that wont fit and am out $500Now I ask Myself....Do they always give people tires that are wrong sizes just to make the sale?Do they hire cheap labor and unknowledgeable employees?Why would they turn away a loyal customer who is trying to give them MORE MONEY just because they made the mistake?I wanted a 245/40/15 for a 15x10 rim and they gave me a 265/75/15The tires were for a 4 wheel drive vehicle and anybody who installed tires for more than one week could see they wouldnt fit.

The problem I had with my washer was fixed after 3 visits from the repair person, luckily I have a warranty and didnt need to pay for anything, the gripe I have is taking time off waiting for the repair person to arrive. Both repair persons were friendly and professional and gave me an explanation of what was wrong, I would highly recommend anyone buying an appliance from Sears to consider buying the extended warranty to save you $ in the long run.

Bad service.The parts was mailed to the incorrect address, although the technician was at the correct address.Our tenants had to remain home and had to take one (1) day off from work whereas it would be their typical working day.The person who took the information when we scheduled the appt. did not know what she was doing, although she was polite.If we had any other way, we would have hired an outside repair technician to resolve the issue w/ our appliance, but we purchased an insurance agreement.Sears should have more knowledgeable employees working in their Sears Home Service Dept. in order they schedule the appointments at the right locations.

I tried the Service Number on my receipt and it did not work, called the store, they gave me another number, that number forwarded me to another. In total I had to make 6 calls before getting to the right department in order to book an appointment...very frustrating.The day of the appointment we got an email saying the window for the appointment was changed from 8 to 12:00 to 10:00 to 12:00. At 9:30 we get a call from the service fellow saying he was on his way??????He was friendly enough and showed us how to prop open the door. The machine has been kept meticulously clean and dry as recommended by our sales person. The Service fellow reaffirmed the importance of making sure the machine was kept dry after each washing. We asked him about the water always collecting in the soap dispenser device and he indicated ...that is the way the machine is...???? So every time we finish using the machine we have to take out the dispenser, dump the water and wipe it dry!!???So he runs the machine and then he does not dry the drum which my husband noticed after the Service fellow left so he dried it. As he does not usually do the laundry he did not think to empty the water out of the dispenser and dry it too. I went to do laundry today to discover the water had been sitting in the machine since his service call!!!!If it is important to keep the machine dry...and he confirmed this...I can not comprehend why he would leave it wet when we gave him a towel!!!He had also changed the settings on the machine and when I went to use it, I had to reread the manual to figure out how to reprogram it.So that is our experience.

The guy came to our house and wasn’t able to fix anything they were originally supposed to come to fix the dishwasher the guy didn’t even have a clue how to diagnose it and then just said I need a new part without even looking at it, It was two hours late for the appointment we waited all day for him to show up and was able to do nothing!
