Was 1st time in Costco. Clean. Set up just like Sams club. So seemed the same. Same items same prices. Friendly staff. Clean

Great place to buy in bulk and save. Love the bakery, rotisserie chicken and $1.50 hot dog with drink. Bring back the sausage dog!

1st stop everytime. Love how the location is right next to the Kahului airport (OGG). Save some money on meals a buy stuff for a couple meals and snacks (POG!!). You can pick up all your swimming gear from here. Lines move fast, the cashiers are friendly and quick. Parking lot is always busy but people come and go so finding parking is not an issue. Same with gas, I have seen worse. Whats not to love! Thank you Costco! Pics from my visit at the beginning of July 2021.

I absolutely love visiting Costcos while vacationing. Here they have local (state) kona coffee at the best price anywhere. Local wines and meats as well as the best price on gasoline.

Wow what a busy busy place. Parking took a while, we went inside to renew our membership and were hard put to resist the sales pitch to buy the executive membership. Once we finally convinced them we only wanted the GoldStar membership we wheeled through the vast store and selected a few items. Terrific variety of produce, packaged goods and even a food court and tire sales and service section. We used the Self check-out and when the exit checker looked at our receipt it turns out that for the first time ever, two of the items we scanned didnt actually scan and the checker caught the error! My wife went on to the car and I went back to rescan and pay for the two items that missed being scanned. That process actually works! Who knew.

Absolute chaos from start to finish. From pulling into the parking lot to the greeting/exiting door attendants to the membership desk. Aside from a couple of the food/product sample employees, most of the workers couldnt be bothered to say hello or even make eye contact. Prices and selection are great if you need to buy in bulk, but thats about the only reason to go here. Quite disappointed as Costco had been talked up to me as being THE example to follow and it was far from it, unfortunately.

Best place to shop on island as far as prices go. Clean and bright. Service is hit or miss, but for the most part good. It is crowded being the only Costco on island and best prices on island, so customers can be rude or nice depending on time of day. (Go early). Prices are slightly higher than mainland (Texas). Wish they would build another location.

My fav place ever 😍 got the best tasting pineapple ever in Maui, Hawaii . Came here for vacation and we first stopped here for all our vacation needs. Costco has always had our back!♥️

Theyve had a lot to deal with being one of the busiest Costcos in the nation and the pandemic, and boy am I tired of hearing and talking about it but they pulled it off professionally and even at the worst of it with lines around the parking lot, I still was able to get my shopping done fast enough to not get too cranky.Maui Costco is awesome

The store is good, this review is specifically for the food court. Why, after all these years of ordering from the food court, is it recently requiring to show the membership card when thats never been a thing? But thats not the worst of it. They have the audacity to change something that didnt need changing, they dont even make it apparent that this is their new thing since you would walk to the food court & there is not a single sign that tells you you have to show your membership card so you would walk up to the register & if you dont have your card on you for whatever reason, they then proceed to kick you from ordering & call the next person. Like in what world does any of that make sense? Yeah, real nice customer service.

Beautiful rainbow- even the Costco has a touch of Hawaii.Cheapest food and gas on the island. Local grocery prices are high, but what can you expect on an island. Highly recommend buying food here if you plan to cook and filling up your rental here before returning at the airport.

Good service and rapid moving checkout lines a plus here, only knock is certain product availability comes and goes. If you see something you need buy a few of em, might not be there next time. Gas station is very well priced but always packed.

Absolutely ridiculously busy. No social distancing at all. Went with one other family member and it was her turn to pay and they wouldn’t let her pay because she wasn’t the card holder. WE ARE ON VACATION TOGETHER. We chose not to spend our money there and left.

I love this store. It has a wide selection of items. There’s usually always good stuff in the coupon booklet there. Any snacks you get there come in a large size so it’s a great value for the snacks there. Also the prices for a lot of items are also a very good deal to get over there. Definitely recommend this place for shopping for stuff if you have a membership to it.

Great location with lots of options. Its always fully stocked and parking is a breeze. The only con is they dont have many samples.

Good selection of food and household items and all reasonably priced as expected at Costco. First time shopping there during the pandemic. Way too many people for me but I did hear an employee questioning a customer where his mask was. I didnt notice any unmasked people so it seemed like Costco Maui is enforcing the mask mandate which is greatly appreciated! Also there is sanitizer stations in the store for customers to use.

Excellent experiences at the Costco, Kahului, Maui, Hawaii store both in grocery and ekectronics. Chris (f.) especially was extremely helpful with purchasing a new SMART TV. She is very knowledgeable and helpful.

The Maui costco isnt like any Ive seen on the mainland. Theres tons of everything, including furniture. Clean and orderly. Prices seem to be pretty close if not the same as all other clubs. Very friendly associatesThe parking however is a nightmare.

I always drop by a Costcos wherever I vacation in the states or Canada, especially for gas. Its always interesting to find regional products, and the Maui Costco did not disappoint. Love Costco...matter a fact my vacation was booked through Costco.

The place to load up on supplies in Maui. Quality is great. Cost is moderate. The only issue is the relatively large count per sales unit.

Not a big selection on salad dressings, but very good on meats, breads, and most other products. Quick check out as well.

Great to have a Costco in Maui. Gas was a lot cheaper than any were else almost 60 cents difference and the usual jumbo hot dogs and pizza.

The huge selection of television sets makes for a difficult decision, with so much high tech, its hard to know which features are most important, but it is nice to have choices, with competitive pricing!

We went in about 11. We found parking easy enough. We were doing shopping for our 10-day stay on Maui. A few snacks suntan lotion and a couple of presents for people back home. Everything we were looking for was easy to find, including a few things we did not expect to buy.We are definitely planning on going back before the end of our trip.

Right by the Airport so you can grab your drinks and snacks before you start your vacation! Prices are similar to every other Costco. They do have a gas station as well.

We went out one night here to eat dinner i was craving pizza but just one sliced and its perfect dinner with one hotdog and chocolate sundae for $3.75. Awesome!👌 nothings wrong.

Despite the crowds likely brought on by the surge of post-covid travel, checking out was still a breeze. Some items were limited, such a special k, but that is probably to be expected during these times.

Awesome! We stopped in just after picking up our rental car. Food is expensive in Maui so we bought some breakfast items and snacks for our trip and it saved us a ton. We also got Poke!!! It was great. Lots of Hawaiian products which made it really hard to decide as you are committing to a huge portion of it!

Costco 6 minutes from airport is the best thing that greeted us when we drive out with our rental car from the airport. We always stopped by, and get a bunch of Maui gold pineapples, and other snacks to enjoy for our entire trip.

I always love going to out of state Costcos. They have such good stuff that I dont have in my normal state. I can also buy whiskeys wines and beers at certain Costcos depending on the state. I love it. Huge savings on everything.

Whats not to like? Cheap food, produce, supplies and a food court. Some covered parking with the solar panels and a Costco gas station. Cheap poke bowls, lots of fresh fish and Maui gold pineapples for $3 each!

Everything!! Super fast & nice checkers!! Best prices in town and they guarantee your purchase satisfaction!! Get executive membership in the new Citibank Visa card you get 3% back and we usually get two extra checks a year which is great and check out the new food court and now theyre even saving more money with the solar panels Costco seems to do so many things right!! Especially their pretty easy-going return policy! If you dont like the quality or the product they usually accept returns. Costco pricing is really hard to match anywhere else on the island!

The Costco store itself is a one stop spot...The tire shop is the reason for the 5 star 🌟......Tommy and all the fellas have very good attitude towards customers and are very helpful...And cautious ⚠️ for the safety of the vehicle and drivers selection in tires

Costco is always awesome! We dropped by for some groceries, you can find almost everything there including surfing and boogie boards and of course fill up your gas and get a hotdog or pizza for normal Costco prices.

Costco card is in my name and my husband was paying with his credit card. Like we have done in Kentucky, Texas, Nevada and Cali with zero issue. I was there in person as it is my card. The clerk said that she absolutely could not accept the card with his name on it as payment even though we could show both our IDs and that we live at the same address. I was getting milk and diapers for my kids and they would not make any exceptions to this rule I have never heard of. They also dont care since they are so busy.

I have been to Costcos around the country and the one thing that’s always constant, is the customer service. Unfortunately, this location has a lady there who ruined my experience there. I was there with my wife, and we were checking out and she wouldn’t let me pay for the groceries because my wife’s name wasn’t on my credit card. It was the most ridiculous thing ever.

Waited in car for my daughter in law to go on and pick up a pizza. Crowded. Pizza was excellent.

I was shocked to see such a large and busy Costco on the island. The receipt checking line heading out can be long. Long enough to sent someone to the food court and meet you as you exit.Be sure to take your Costco Membership Card if your visiting because gas here can be nearly $1 less than the rest of the island.This Costco is centrally located on the island giving you a chance to fill up whether your doing a Road to Hana Loop or taking a day trip around the West Mountain.Large selection of alcoholic beverages too!Tree stars because of the long lines.

Its always a five star to me. We usually bring in our puppy. He stays in his bag. Never had a problem except this past weekend. The worker wouldnt allow us to bring him in. Only frustrating part is that should all have the same rules. But its still a five star

Nice and clean Costco warehouse as you expect pretty much anywhere else. There is also local products such as coffee and lots of pineapple! The staff are friendly. Parking lot has ceiling for cars to remain cooler while the solar panels generate electricity; pretty cool!

What can I say, its an addiction 🤷‍♂️ Love me some Costco. Kirkland brand is truly some of the best food for the most amazing prices.Update: OK I had to add something about our recent trip. Whoever the manager was at the registers on January 24th around 11 am should be fired. Ive never seen him there before harassing customers and I really hope I dont see him again. 🤷‍♂️ The thousands of dollars I spend in your store I am considering taking elsewhere. My five stars just went away. If this matter gets resolved I will put them back. I honestly wish I didnt like Costco so much because I dont really want to go back to be treated that way. It has always been a pleasant experience coming to your store and this really just made me not want to come back. If this is the type of person you want representing your store I am going to have a hard time coming in and that makes me sad honestly.

A great place to start shopping for your week in Maui. Definitely check out the parking lot across the street for the food trucks that have a great selection.

I get my gas here... MUCH CHEAPER than any other gas station (except for 1-othe place which is same price as Costco). I def do a lot of shopping here too.

As always, Costco did not disappoint. We stopped here to check out snorkel gear for all of our family. We ended up not buying them. But we got some snacks for our road trips instead.

Costco is Costco wherever you find yourself. Even on the remote island of Maui you will have a typical shopping experience and its usually good. You can definitely find some local items here such as Hawaiian tomatoes, lettuce and squash. Also all your aloha-wear needs like aloha shirts, flip-flops and shorts (even if they are possibly made in China...) However Ive always been somewhat surprised and disappointed that the mangoes originate from Mexico or even further south. Same with the papayas, the pineapples, and on and on and nauseum. They do make an attempt to supply some local products but in my humble opinion they could do much, much more, and its going the extra mile that makes all the difference. So ultimately, if you like the Costco in Burlington, Vermont or the one wherever you happen to be, you will also like the Maui Costco. Truly Costco is ubiquitous.

Maui Costco is the BEST Costco! Loaded up on some amazing snacks to keep us nourished just minutes after landing on the island, and the stuff they have to offer is CHOICE! You can also find all the stuff youre used to getting back home at slightly higher prices, but not nearly as bad as people make it sound.TIP: Dont make the same mistake I did and buy only one bag of Chocolate covered macadamias. If youre staying for a week or longer, youll need at minimum 3 or more of those things!

Even with lines the gas station moves quickly.Of course the rotisserie chicken gets us inside!

Parking is the 1st problem need a better way to the gas station with out bottle neck traffic just to gas lines. Blocking 🚫

Love Costco, only wish they would bring a few new items in more often.
