Brock at the Kahului store was so great to work with. He was very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and helpful - and great sense of humor. Made a shattered phone while on vacation less upsetting! He was able to answer all of my (a thousand) questions about upgrading by me device and explained in a way that a non-tech person like me was able to understand. He also helped me switch to a better plan for my overall usage. Great experience!

All this time I believed that we set up our account for insurance to cover 4 phones going on 2 years.Found out yesterday after upgrading it was set up for only one phone….I guess REALLY read the very fine print.
On August 4th, this past Wednesday, I had one of the greatest Customer Service experiences of 2021at AT&T in Queen Kaahumanu Centre. I was greeted by the friendly staff and assigned to Van. I explained to her that my Dad (84 years young) just got an IPad Air for his birthday and I needed to transfer data, apps and have it setup. I mentioned that I was not familiar on how the IPad Air operates since it has no button. She first took the time to setup the new iPad and confirm transfer of data and apps, qthen she showed me the basic hand motions needed to use the iPad Air. She also checked my account to make sure it was up to date, and told me of all the new products and promotions going on.Although it was quick and informative, Van made me feel as if she’s known for a long time. It’s that feeling of being welcomed and of “importance”. Thank you Van … that really set my morning off to a positive and great start. BTW my Dad was very satisfied with the setup of his new iPad Air and kudos for showing me how to use it functionally, which of course I shared with him. Mahalo Nui Loa… Jeff

Van was a great service representative and I appreciated the patience and diligence taken to make me feel like getting a new phone after, years and I mean years of having the phones prior. This was fun and I also made it memorable for the representative as we cracked jokes and just made it seem normal in this COVID world we are all living in. I have not been in the store pre-COVID and to have a relaxing environment is what made the experience even better.One thing I would request ATT do is add a tower in Haiku like close to the Haiku community center so residents can have more service in Haiku.

Recent Update: Issue has been resolved with great difficulty as customer care was trying to find ways to “keep” the charge when it was wrongfully taken. The length they go to take something is awful. Again the workers at Kahului are great, it’s just unfortunate they work for a company that is horrible, and I don’t say this because it happened to me, but because I hear many similar experiences. It just has finally caught up and has become hard to ignore over the years as it becomes blatantly obvious.______________________________2nd EDIT a MONTH LATER:AT&T is officially the worst company I have ever worked with. My frustration with them at this point is more than reasonable. They took money out of my account and I am not even a customer of theirs. I already made double payments in May for my new service and what was supposed to be my last payment with AT&T. Yet, here I am again. Upon speaking with a 24/7 customer service rep, they saw that I indeed had already canceled, and my options were they could refund the May amount which is by the way less than what AT&T took for June as the upgrade was more expensive, because their system wouldn’t let them refund me for a wait for it, partial amount for June, even though I had canceled that order immediately. Also they released my number to spectrum so that should have been a big fat cancel, not just for the new phone, but for the whole service. They are literally finding ways to rob me, even though I am no longer a customer and for a phone I don’t even have and I didn’t even get to use this upgrade as I switched services in May and still paid them for that month. So the rep told me to dispute the amount with the store I went to, which is why the review is being left here. Hopefully they will rectify the situation, if not the proof is in the pudding, and I’ll take it to my bank.____________________________EDIT: This is in no way a reflection of the help I received from Van (or any rep). She was great. This is a reflection of AT&T as a company. I was not expecting monthly payments to be so high, it’s hard to determine with Maui taxes what the end result will be. I had called a day later to ask if I could put a downpayment to lower my fee (phone has not come in yet). But unfortunately I had to do it at the beginning yesterday before the transaction went through, meaning if I want the lower rate I have to cancel my order, pay the tax fee again, and put a downpayment just to get the lower payment. That to me is a waste of time, a poor method, and quite honestly a way of stealing money. Not good AT&T. Now I’m on the fence of going the long route just to get the lower payments, or just canceling my order all together. My current phone isn’t old and it works great, so the upgrade isn’t worth it if AT&T can’t just add the downpayment for a phone that hasn’t even come in yet. Again Van was great, but the policy is horrendous.—————————————————————————Before I could even open the door, I had a rep help me right away. Van was really welcoming, helpful, considerate with my infant, and all around I felt the Aloha in the store. I was in and out, no long wait. I came in to order a phone that was not in stock and they helped me cancel my paid subscription for HBO Max, as my upgrade came with a free one. Van answered every question I had. Mahalo!
After deciding it was finally time to upgrade, my son and I went to the store to check out the phone selection and we were greeted by a woman named Kiah. I was pretty nervous because I don’t understand all the new features and all the new phones these days, but Kiah was so genuine and patient while talking me through each option. I immediately relaxed and felt like I understood everything she was telling me. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but just so very kind! She walked me through step by step and even talked to my dad on the phone to help set up data. My son and I left with huge smiles on our faces and so happy to have a new iphone and such a pleasant experience with such an exquisite person. Kiah, it was so great to meet you! You are such an asset to At&t! Thank you so much for everything.

I have called AT&T support multiple times, and spent hpurs and hours on the phone trying to fix a data issue with my prepaid smartphone. Finally I drove from the other side of the island where I live to the AT&T store in Kahului. I didnt have much hope they would be able to help me any better there. But as soon as I walked in the door, a sales rep named Chris greeted me and he was so friendly and welcoming that I was immediately put at ease. He offered to work on my phone while he was helping other customers so I wouldnt have to wait for 7 people in front of me, in case my problem was simple. I hadnt sat down with my book for more than two minutes before he came back to me with a big smile and said that he had fixed my problem. This data issue, which has not allowed me to use my data for over a year, has been a major concern for my personal and work life. And Chris just fixed it in a minute, when all the reps on the phone werent able to even diagnose it. Plus he was so wonderfully friendly. My experience at the store has been stellar and I would recommend it to anyone! Aloha

My phone was stolen. I bought another phone, needed to keep same number and level of service. It was all transferred to my new phone quick and easy.

The store is helpful, though the processes of getting serviced for each customer is pretty slow. AT&T is currently out in my area... cant get phone calls in or out. Theres NO WAY to report this. Tried calling the store and they wont pick up the phone... so.. very unhappy. 11/15/17

I really complain that their services dont understand what they say because Im deaf and no interpreter there. before i went there AT&T store and without interpreter. I just bought phone and they never info me everything right thing. And then they rip off my money. At&T really need require interpreter. All service make mistake my plan and gave me more raise billing. Im really piss off them. Also, on the phone AT&T services same thing dont understand too. That wasting my time and wasting my money.
Honestly, less than helpful. If youre working in customer service you should be sympathetic to the customer, and try and help them within reason. All we got was apathy, rudeness, and no advice at all. They just sent us to a different location that was not even affiliated.
This rating is for the staff (Barbara) not the actual service. My daughter bought me a new iphone for my birthday and I put off going in the store after seeing the reviews online but I wanted to start using my new phone. Im sure it gets backed up in there but I was helped by the first person that greeted me as I walked through the door and she was very informative and helpful.

Ive been an AT&T customer on this line since 2010. I made a promise to pay and my service was disconnected for $40. To make things worst they now want me to pay $170, and will not restore my service until that is paid. Ive paid them entirely too much money in 6 years for them to be this petty over this amount. The manager I spoke too was even worst than the original representative. AT&T has made me so mad Im about to join the true coverage of America Verizon. Even if I pay a higher bill itll be worth it to not deal with a company who is unappreciative of me as a long time customer.
Share details of my visit, cant the door was locked early and when I showed up with only a question, when they were letting someone out at 7:59, the door already was locked, so I tried asking a question and the door was shut in my face, twice by 2 different employees. They were in too much of a hurry to get off work. No doubt i was last minute, I did mention all uI ha was a question but still was treated like i had lepracy. Thats ok though, I took my money to Na Hoku down the mall and bought her a new wedding band.
Have to wait looooooong time!!! I think they really don’t care their customers waiting how long!
Best customer service on the island
First AT&T store I had the pleasure of dealing with in the states, the store was busy, but with the virtual queuing made it a simple process. Was able to get in an out in a few minutes with a prepaid sim ready to rock out in Maui!
Check in iPad system allowed staff to ignore us for several moments, then once they did attend to us, it was to send us to a phone to call insurance. Well insurance was down, the call didnt last 2 complete minutes. I watched Brock nod to some other associate to help us. He looked at me, looked at Brock and they both walked to the back of the store. Brock proceeded to spray clean the counters. No one asked us if we needed any other help. So we asked Brock. He said call again later. We left.

We were lied to by the salesperson. She told us in order for us to save money on a new phone/plan, we have to add a new line and then we can remove the line as soon as we leave the store. We trusted her and left with the new phone. Our bill doubled and they told us we have to keep the new line for 30 months.

Tried calling customer service, multiple attempts but always after long (press 1, press 2 etc repeats ) and on hold ...yet to be hung up with beep, beep, beep. Extremely poor service!!!!

Delmar was working the door we ask for help with phone cases he pointed in the direction and continued to stand at the door not helping anyone. I returned asked another question I think all the cases are out. Returned to purchase a case still standing at the door he said I am helping someone now. No your chatting with someone. Unacceptable service.
