We had all of our windows replaced this summer and have had a 5-star experience all around with Washburn. . The price was very reasonable, the work was performed when promised, and the new windows look great. Doug and his crew were friendly and easy to work with. The work was neatly done, everything is well sealed, and I was impressed with how well the aluminum cladding around the new windows was fabricated and installed. On top of all that, our house isnt drafty any longer and we are using significantly less natural gas this fall (when I adjust for heating degree days) than we did last fall with our old windows!

Washburn Windows did an amazing job installing my new windows! The installers were friendly and cleaned up the work area every day. I love my new windows! They make our house much quieter and warmer than it was. I can easily open, close and lock the windows. The top and bottom tilt in for cleaning. Mr. Washburn stopped by after the installation to make sure I was happy with the process and knew how the windows worked. I had a wonderful experience working with Washburn windows they were professional courteous and did great work on all of my windows. I had two replacement basement windows installed by Washburn Windows & Doors. The price was excellent, and the job was done quickly. The installers also did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. (I had Lowes install a basement window last year for the same price that Washburn charged to installed two this year -- definitely a better deal with Washburn!)

I have dealt with Washburn Windows on three separate occasions. They are considerably less expensive than most of their competitors and the workmanship is very good. Despite the reasonable pricing, dont be fooled - you definitely get MORE than you pay for.One thing to note. This is a small business. Doug and his crew take their time getting their jobs set up right. They do not have lots of crews out on jobs, so you will want to be patient during summer and other busy times. In our case, communication has always been good and any delays have been communicated in a timely manner.

After a great deal of shopping around, obtaining several estimates, we retained WashburnWindows & Doors to replace almost all the windows in our house, including double hungs, sliders, casement and basement hoppers. We chose their Vista triple pane line for everything except the basement, where we installed double pane. Installation went well with a great installation team who took the time necessary to get the job right and we have been enjoying our new windows ever since. Our furnace use has dropped demonstrably as a result of the high insulation value of the new windows. Although we have only had the windows for a few months, there has been no leakage even during heavy rain and wind, and we think the Vista brand makes a good product.

They replaced our windows and they are great and the prices were the best. The service and employees were excellent and professional, I would definitely use them again.

The work done was excellent, the quality of the windows is excellent, and the employees are professional. Why the 3 stars? The owner has exceptionally poor communication skills. He failed to order my screen doors at the same time as the windows, causing a delay in the completion of the work. He failed to contact me when the doors came in. He failed to contact me when a replacement window arrived for one that arrived on site cracked. I had to contact him to see if these items had come in and to schedule the installation. When it was all said and done, the work took over 3 months to complete, even though the whole house window replacement took 3.5 days. So in the end, if you can tolerate poor communication, then you will get excellent quality work and product.

Had a great experience with Washburn Windows and Doors. They changed out three drafty anderson windows with new replacement windows. They removed our entire windows all the way down to framing of the house and replaced them with double hung windows. We couldnt believe how much work was involved.
