From start to finish, this company went above and beyond. Our countertops are beautiful and they were reasonable priced. We also had them installed within two and a half weeks after measuring. Adonai pays attention to details and it shows. The installers were knowledgeable and friendly. They also cleaned up once they were finished. We would highly recommend this company!

I would like to share my experience with this company so that no one else has to deal with the headaches they caused me and my customers. So I am a contractor and I went to Adonai Granite with my customers to select granite for four small pieces for a bathroom remodel. Neither I, nor the homeowner had any prior experiences with Adonai, but it was only 10 minutes from the jobsite, and figured they couldnt screw up on four small easy pieces, so we agreed to purchase here. I provided detailed measurements for all pieces which consisted of one shower curb, one shower bench top, and two half-wall caps. They insisted to come out and take their own measurements and I happily agreed. They came out a few days later to measure. We were very thorough in explaining every cut, including two small notches to allow for the glass door/surround to be installed, a notch on one wall cap for wall tile, as well as requesting a leather finish and a chamfer edge on all pieces. This was all listed on the original ticket/agreement, and signed for. They requested payment in full ($421). We paid it all up front. About a week after they took measurements, I was told the order was ready for pick-up so I showed up to take delivery. The pieces were just being completed when I arrived, but I noticed they didnt cut the notches for the glass shower door. They said no problem, then proceeded to cut the notches by hand with a grinder and left the rough cut notches unfinished, with grinder marks showing. I didnt like this at all, but knew I could hide it, so I took the pieces, still wet from cutting. When I got the granite to the job (10 minutes away), I realized they had polished the granite to a high gloss sheen, not leather. This was unacceptable for this job. Also, the chamfered edge that they charged $120 for was not done at all. The curb was cut too long to fit. The notch for wall tile on the wall cap was not cut at all. So I called them and they said to bring it back and they would take care of it right away. I returned the granite to the store and was told this would be a big problem for them, but to come back the next day and they would have it fixed. After I left, I called them and asked them to just leave the edge profile square and just refund the $120 since they didnt do the chamfer edge. I was told that this pi$$ed off the owner and that they wouldnt refund the $120 due to the troubles of having to fix THEIR mistakes. Then they told me that this small job wasnt worth their time to fix because they priced it too low by mistake and they would just refund the whole thing and cancel the order. First of all, I am very well aware that $421 for about 7-8 sq ft is not underpriced at all. Especially since I was doing the install. And I knew this would put me behind by 2 weeks on this job, but I didnt want to deal with their incompetence any longer so I told them to send a refund and cancel the job. My customers were concerned about time, so they called Adonai back and asked them again to make it right and finish the job. They agreed and told them it would be ready for pick-up the next day. When the homeowner called them this morning (Tuesday) to confirm it was ready, they told him its not ready, it will be ready tomorrow. He said OK thats fine. Then Adonai said no, I meant Thursday. When he agreed again, they said no... it will be Friday. At this point, the homeowner asked for a refund and told them we would go elsewhere, which is what Adonai wanted, as they didnt want to make it right. They did issue a check for the refund the same day, which is why they earn 1 star instead of zero stars. They never had any intention of fixing their poor workmanship. They just strung us along to intentionally cause us more headache. The quality of work at Adonai Granite is beyond terrible. Customer service is non-existant. Buyer beware. Go elsewhere for your granite needs. Trust me.P.s. - We went to Mountain Empire after this and they took great care of us. I highly recommend Mtn Empire Stoneworks. True craftsmen and professionals there!
