I went to Office Depot to fax important papers. I was greeted promptly by a friendly associate. The store was clean and neatly arranged with adequate signs per department. When I went to the help desk the store manager was working that department and promptly guided me to the necessary forms. He then proceeded to send my fax and give me confirmation. I paid a very reasonable fee and was able to get on my way knowing my business had been easily and properly handled.
I have been in this store quite a few times only for the purpose of using the self serve print center. This time was worst!! I understand that I walked in the door right at 8:54pm and they close at 9pm. I was going doing what I needed to do as quickly as possible, the machine is a little slow, when an older employee came over to me and said, You know we close in two minutes? I get it, employees wanna go home, but Ive been in a business that makes you feel like you have to leave in the middle of what youre doing because it was cloaing time. I felt like he was watching me nonstop and it made me uncomfortable and rushed. Unfortunately I did not finish what I went in there to do and ended up leaving empty-handed. I did hear him lock the doors and at that time I stopped what I was doing and finished up checking out from the machine and started towards the front door. He waited until I walked past him and said he had to unlock the door, but in my opinion he was rude and impolite. Unfortunately, this is the only place I am aware near me to do the printing and facing I needed to do at a reasonable price. If I had somewhere else to go, I would NEVER step foot in there again. This isnt the first time Ive dealt with issues from this location.
I cannot recommend this place enough. As a small business we rely on our local Office Depot and this place always comes thru. TJ especially goes above and beyond to help when Im in a pinch and she is amazing!
Posted hours online and at the store front are 10 AM-6PM at the store on Sundays. Saw that they had the labels I need in stock and showed up about 10:30 AM. Doors were closed and locked with an iron gate behind them. No sign imdicating anything.
I try to buy a office chair and information about desks. The response is, I cant answer your question. On the chair, wait until me the customer buy a desk then the chair at the same time. I order the chair online now, Im still dealing with office depot 800 number 22 days later. Im stuck with two chairs now. I got a two yr warranty. That is not been honer. I do not recommend getting furniture from Office Depot. I will not replace an order with them again.
I would appreciate it if I could have got some help the three Associates who was standing at the register having conversation did not want to assist me a i was told when I could not find what I was looking for I dont guess we carry that I will never shop in that store again
Short Lived 1 star experience, called to see if a printer was available they said that they had two in stock and he would put one on hold for me to come in and get it. They never actually checked to see if it was in stock, drove 15 minutes to be told we never received the shipment and don’t have them. Wasted 30 mins in total
I really needed a web camera for school so I called and Bo told me he would hold one for me (note they only had 2 left) Bo put it in lockup for me and I drove and got it. Really happy he saved me one because Best Buy and everyone else was out. He was also very friendly when checking me out.
Today I needed to buy a charger for an older laptop. The universal charger kits would not fit and I was in a real bind. Thankfully you had a wonderful employee whose name was Chuck who found a fitting to work and was able to charge my laptop so I could pull my contracts up and load them on a thumb drive. I am so thankful to him and wanted you to know he went above and beyond to help me. Thanks again Chuck, you were great and I will do all my business shopping at your store in the future.

I was there yesterday to pickup some needed items for work. I also applied for the Rewards Card and Credit Card (personal) while I was there. The blonde lady was helpful, but flat out LIED about the fact that getting an Office Depot credit card DOES put a hard inquiry on your credit, which I had to find out the hard way. She gave me a temporary credit card pass until I could get my card, which will arrive in about two weeks or so. I went in there today as I had forgot to pickup a planner and some pens I needed for my new work and I was denied service by two male employees that work at your store. One of them was a lot older and he was nice at first but the supervisor guy was extremely rude and wasted my time. I walked out of there empty-handed and extremely disappointed. My new career starts on Monday and I desperately needed supplies but was denied service and your employees were very rude and condescending to say the least. This happened around 2:30/3 p.m. today in your store. I had spent over an hour trying to find supplies and ultimately found the perfect planner and pens I really needed, but could not get due to greediness and fine print. I dont even know if I will ever be back to this specific store ever again. Your employees wasted my time!
Chuck waited on me. He has excellent customer service skills and is very knowledgeable in the products that are sold there. He was so efficient and so easy to work with even though I walked in there knowing very little I followed everything he showed me and was able to hook up my product by myself. Thanks for everything!
I usually do not have any problems and I have contemplated not doing a review. I would be doing a great disservice to Office Depot by not choosing to. I visited the Johnson City location on July 7th at approximately 9:15am to make copies. I went to the self-serve copiers. The copier wouldnt work, it gave me an error message. I asked the young lady working in that department for help and she said, just use the other one! The other one didnt work either, I received the same message. She said, oh sometimes they do that! She never offered a solution, she just went back to whatever she was doing unconcerned with me. I asked, well can you make copies? I laid the paper on the counter and asked her to make 100 copies. She never uttered a word to me, no thank you...nothing. I had to take them to another checkout the pay. The young man never offered a bag to put my things in (I got more than just copies). I asked for a bag, I said Thank you! His reply, sure, no problem! What has happened to customer service! I work with the public. I manage a store. I dont get it! Ill be back because this is the only office supply in town that Im aware of or Id choose another one. People shopping is the reason their job is necessary. It has bothered me for a week! The Office supply store, while Ive not purchased much from this store what I have has been of good quality. Staff is always very helpful. If your just getting copies their a little expensive.
Most of the time the service is excellent however today...I was very less impressed, the folks just didnt seem prepared to help with our print needs. Out of the three people working the business center, only one was trained enough to be of assistance. Need to improve training of your staff.
I was in town on business and had some time to kill so I wandered into this store...and I am so glad that I did! They had *in stock* (and on sale) a few products that I had been looking to purchase for some time. I prefer to buy all of my items in person, when possible, and the staff at this location were very kind and patient with me. I would visit Office Depots closer to me if they could offer the same level of support.
I went there to find an inexpensive printer. The salesman was super helpful and was able to explain the various features of the different printers to me. He got me all set at check-out and then another associate carried it to my csr. I was very impressed with the service I received.
Very large and very packed full of things you can use but hard to locate individual items also helps you choose help that you helped that cant find what youre looking for so they ask for more help be better if they had trains personnel for each section and a little bit of a better spread for their items
I was looking for a specific item and advice on which brands/models might best suit what I needed.The rep who helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful. He clearly wanted me to get the best item for me, not talk me into getting some expensive item I wouldnt need.

If you barely touch the printers a man will follow you around asking if you need help because he specializes in Printer sales and also because he thinks youre about to break them. If you test the chairs to see if they squeak or turn correctly you will also get followed around.

The employee named Amber was super helpful and went above and beyond to help us find a chair/printer. We then forgot something in the store and she ran it out to our car. I would send a proper compliment to corporate but OD straight up removed their support email. Anyway, thanks Amber!
