The parking lot is difficult to navigate and narrow, so it can absolutely be crazy when Starbucks is extra busy. The place itself has always had excellent, fast, friendly service. Its spacious and clean. Food and drinks are always ready quickly and really good.
One of the most friendliest staff I have found if they mess up my order which does happen they will remake it or give me the things to fix it I enjoy coming there they know my name they know my order which makes me feel even more important then I know I am LOL but I do appreciate them taking that time to do that cuz most places dont do that anymore

I go to this Starbucks everyday and have for years. In the last month or so the employees have changed and now my coffee is not even right half the time. I have to ask them to add the cold foam on top every other time. I guess they are not reading the labels consistently. Just went this morning and yet again, no cold foam. Can we please just get the new hires to start reading the labels please?
Great Starbucks. Unfortunately they are often out of certain ingredients. The newer staff seems a bit slower. Overall its a solid bux!
I usually get an Iced white chocolate mocha (change all shots to blond) sweet cream foam and caramel drizzle. Its amazing and its also really good hot too.
I dont typically leave reviews, but this had to be shared. Today I visited this location around 12pm. Now, anyone who knows me knows Im typically not a Starbucks fan, but I had a gift card to finish up so I went. There was a gentleman in front of me deciding on his order. He was having some difficulty communicating what hed like to order. The cashier was asking different questions to try and figure out this mans order. He remained patient and kind the entire time. At one point, a female employee stepped over and was visually showing this gentleman his size options in order to help figure out his order. Then the cashier asked for the mans name, and the man asked for his name. The cashier then began to strike up a conversation with him, as did the female employee once she made his order. The staff was also extremely friendly and kind to me as well, but the time and effort they took with this gentleman really made me smile. They were patient and compassionate and definitely more of what this world needs.
I go to Starbucks so often they know my name and that I get a water with my drink daily. This location gets my order wrong quite often but they always make it right.

Nice staff, pleasant and try their best to please. I think handing your drink out the drive through window in a cup is a nice effort to help against Covid. I will drive out of my way to go to this Starbucks ! 😊

Customer service was great. I am use to Dunkin Donuts but the lady who took my order suggested all kinds of ways to make it similar. Honestly I am not a fan of Starbucks coffee but its where I ended up. I think Starbucks coffee is stronger than what im use to. I ordered this sandwich that had pesto. It took a sec for them to give to me at the window because they made it fresh. Ill gladly wait on fresh and hot. I pull away and reach for my sandwich. I didnt open the bag. It fell out the bottom of the bag and burnt my leg. I honestly thought I had accidently grabbed the wrong end of the bag but nope that I did not. The sealed end (the bottom)is the end the hot sandwich came out of. It was so hot. I think they need stronger bags. The sandwich was great like really great but the burn on my leg wasnt cool. No I am not sue happy. I threw the bag away. I wasnt going to review until google asked me to.
Wasnt happy with my drink. Was made wrong, but when I called they explained the mixup and is offering a replacement when I go in the morning.
I have not written a review and a very long time, especially due to the Karen cancel culture that’s been going on. Nobody wants to be a Karen. But I come here every day and it seems like there is a VERY big inconsistency with their times that they’re open, whether they are drive-through only, whether their mobile service is down... what is in stock... the list goes on and on! As a corporate entity I would expect some consistency. You can mess up my entire schedule when I feel like I cannot put in a mobile order even though right up the road their service is open, and even though the store is open anyway! It doesn’t make any sense why the mobile service is down and then when I order on the mobile service and it’s up there and say they are drive-through only and I have to wait in a 15 car line out of nowhere when I expect that I could just walk in and pick it up usually. So PLEASE fix yourselves, I got my drinks today all melted because of the 15 car pile up at the drive thru that I did not expect! I have complained to corporate hoping to get my money back. SIGH.
Awesome as always. I love starbucks the only thing I didnt love is waiting 30 minutes or longer for the worker at the window to quit talking to his buddy that was in line in front of me. Cars were starting to line up behind me and they didnt care. They just kept talking I finally got my coffe which was awesome. But I wish the workers would have respect for all the customers and just their buddies. Bu I highly recommend this place.
The entire staff is great including Megan who made our drinks today. She was very kind, helpful, and made sure to ask questions about our drinks.They turned out amazing and it was a great experience in which is always the case at Starbucks establishments.

Starbucks is pretty good here, they make your coffee the way you like it. the drive-thru line is long but it moves quickly and if you go inside the line moves quickly as well, they have good internet and clean bathrooms as well and lots of little treats that are high calorie but good for your soul

Arrived after taking a pleasant 2 mile walk on the ETSU campus just across the street. Walk-in service is available and they have a pretty nice outdoor seating area. No inside seating at this time. There was a long line in drive up window when I arrived, but Sunday lunch service inside was quick.

When you sell drinks such as ice venti chai one pump caramel with soy milk add caramel drizzle keep the whip, you would think they wouldn’t consistently shut down mobile ordering and/or UberEats - on the busiest days of the week! Always on weekends. And they also choose when you can go in the store to easily pick up. I don’t even think this is Covid related. I would love a reply from the business to why I am forced in a 30 minute drive thru line when some Starbucks god deems it so. Regardless I could mobile order and pick up in the drive thru. You can’t get Covid through typing on your phone. So what is up with that?
You need a way to communicate to both delivery drivers and customers when you are going DT only. It’s not profitable nor does it help with product quality to wait that long. We don’t know that until acceptance or after we place our mobile order in your app. Thank you
This starbucks location refused to take my order because I was on foot (walking the Tweesie Trail that passes just behind this starbucks store) and not in a vehicle. If I was on a bicycle or moped they would take my order but not on foot.
Starbucks drinks and food are fire and they dont take really long to get but they dont always mix there drinks

The ice chai tea latte at this particular Starbucks is always terrible. Its all milk. Even if I ask for extra chai the drink is almost white. I dont have this issue at any other Starbucks. Id rather drive farther up the road and walk into the Kroger Starbucks knowing it will at least be made right. Fix this please.

As a gold card member in good standings, Starbucks has treated me fairly well, until recently. They attempted to cheat me out of money I placed on my card, then argue the fact that they were cheating me out of the money I had placed on the card. It took 2 days to resolve the issue but it left a bad impression on their management and their customer service. I’m not the only one who’s had similar issues with them. My advice, don’t get their membership card, they’ll steal your money too!

Been here on average of 3xs a week. And yes the service is great, but I am starting to think either they make what they want to make. Or maybe some of the baristas dont know the contents of particular drinks. Ive ordered macchiato and received mocha; caramel latte and received Americana. Getting where I can make my favorite drinks at home and save my 6 bucks.

Every day I order the same thing, most of the time the people who work at this Starbucks treat us like it’s an inconvenience for them. Which is funny to me because I spend A LOT of money at this location. If my coffee is wrong, which it is 30% of the time, it is your obligation to fix it whether it is an inconvenience to you or not. I spent $6-12+ every order and I order almost every day. The Starbucks near the mall is a wayyy friendlier place!!!! The lady in the drive through today was VERY rude to my fiancé and I don’t appreciate it because he was right you didn’t put enough caramel drizzle in our order. Maybe you should learn to read your cups before getting an attitude about it. It’s not that hard to open a lid and put some more, especially when it says EXTRA!!!!

Could get 5 stars but I had to wait 6 minutes inside the store for a tall cappuccino, while there were NOBODY in store to be attended before me.Yes, there were drive-thru orders, but you have to be prepared to not let customers waiting too long. By the time the cappuccino was ready, my cheese danish was cold already

Its been one issue after another. Constantly out of basic supplies, incorrect and incomplete orders. Today, I ordered a toasted bagel with butter. What I got was a completely cold bagel, unsplit, no butter, nothing. Literally just tossed into the bag. There were three people standing idle chit-chatting when I arrived. Im really fed up. Moreover, there is no phone number available. Terrible business practice.

I study here often. The cold brews are the best drinks they make, in my opinion, so I rarely get anything else anymore. Parking at this one only occasionally get full, and there is rarely a wait to order even at those times. And in the rare times there is a line, just use the mobile order feature.

I have been a gold card member since they introduced the program, always in good standings and always spending lots of money due to the fact that a Starbucks was located conveniently inside the building that I worked. Those Starbucks in Knoxville Tennessee I could all easily rate five stars however the one experience in Johnson City Tennessee really showed me that the consistency of not only how they treat their guests or how they make their drinks are the same across the board. The tiny little Starbucks that we have in Greeneville, Tennessee which isn’t even a stand alone blew this one out of the water. So now that I’ve moved away from Knoxville & all my fave Starbucks whose baristas knew me by name, the stuff I liked to order & was always treated with kindness, I know only frequent the small Starbucks located inside of Ingle’s here in Greeneville or I go to Creamy Cup. Upon visiting this Johnson City location, I took 2 people with me that had NEVER had Starbucks before (hard to believe I know) so I thought let’s drive to a stand alone one and let me treat you all. When we walked in the place was a mess, which was surprising bc it wasn’t busy but we ventured on. Now I knew immediately what I wanted, however they still got it wrong (then tried to argue that’s not what I ordered when it was printed on the cup, the barista got really mad when she had to swallow her pride & admit she was wrong but still no apology. Keep in mind, I work retail in the cellphone industry (have for years) I know guests can be unpleasant sometimes but that wasn’t the case as i deal w/it on a daily basis.. I wouldn’t do it to someone else. So the 2 people I took really had no clue what they wanted as they had never been, the sizing even was confusing to them so I was explaining it to them and some of the off the menu drinks I enjoy... no one was in line behind us nor the drive thru busy but a different barista kept making snarky comments & sighs trying to rush them. I simply said you can process my order & I will pay for it then once they decide I will pay for theirs as this is their first time at a Starbucks so they aren’t sure what to get. The reply I got was “then they should step aside bc we have other things to do”. I said they are stepped back & no one is in line behind us, what’s that a necessary comment? The reply I got was “obviously we do more than serve customers” at which point i said well cleaning isn’t one of them so could you get me someone else that maybe has a bit better of a positive outlook bc my friends were ready to leave by this point but we had drive 20 mins out of the way & I wanted to treat them. So the lady who took over was new (bless her heart) but she was kind and took their orders, kept apologizing even though she had done no wrong. So I pay paid for their orders separately. We waited an excess long time to get their 2 drinks for a place that wasn’t busy, and as we are leaving one of my friends says wait this doesn’t taste right.. I looked & sure enough it was wrong. I went bk up to the counter only to be met with rude remarks and for them to reprimand the new girl loudly in front of us who printed exactly what they ordered on there. So do I recommend this place .... absolutely not. Out of 3 drinks the only one the managed to get right was the simplest latte w/an extra shot, the mess of the store, the attitude of the staff, and then them reprimanding/blaming the new girl harshly in front of guests was enough to make a very long standing Starbucks lover like me give a very length & negative review!
