I have to be extremely careful when I shop here. Proper refrigeration of perishables is not followed at all here. Ive seen bins of cheese, yogurt, and other perishables out on the sales floor. Most of their sale items are either very close to or past expiration.They must have a very odd way of sourcing product for their store. Brand new sales items coming in already 3+ months past expiration date. Ive seen stuff with nutrition and labeling not meant for sale in the U.S. Non perishable dry goods covered in some sort of mystery goop..I have a suspicion that they are sourcing lots of their stuff from grey markets. Lots of their stuff just doesnt make sense, and shouldnt be for sale.

So they have a deal of 5 packs of meat for 20 dollars. At first I thought it was a good deal but I started to notice that the Italian sausage packs were all dark so I continued to look at the expiration date and behold... they were expired along with all the 5 for 20 meats. So I only took I pack of ground beef that wasn’t on sale and still had like 5 days lefts to expire. I was making a lasagna that day so I continued to the cheese aisle to get ricotta cheese and something told me to look at the expiration date as well.... and it too, was expired for a month already. IF YOU ARE GOING TO SHOP HERE LOOK AT THE EXPIRATION DATES!

Expired meats and produce throughout this store. I see how they remove the expiration dates on meat sometimes. Yesterday they were selling bags of moldy rotten apples. I hate leaving a bad review but this area really needs a quality, reliable grocery store.

This is my favorite little shop to catch up on items I might have missed when I went to the grocery store. they have pretty much everything, the prices are a bit high but its understandable because its a small shop. The customer service is always good and the lines move very quickly

From the moment this place opened you can tell something was off. They were giving away expired pasta on the day of their grand opening. The fact that they constantly have expired products and try to hide the expiration date with their own label is violating every health code in the book. They’re super expensive and sell a lot of expired things so i dont know how they’re still even open.

The best place to shop in Jersey City. The best prices and products very fresh every day!!!! The general manager is always there to help with any question.

Best place to get fresh fruits and vegetables in jersey city!

Many products are expired or do not have expiration dates. A lot of the food seems and smells off. Twice now I have bought cheese and fruits here and they taste like detergent. Something strange is going on here.

Great produce section.

Everyone be careful. When there products expire they remove the expiration date and put the items on sale for very low. They are breaking the regulations on food safety and no company is allowed to remove any expiration dates on food. They are getting reported from what I heard.

Need to work on the smell do a make over bleach bleach bleach.

It has almost all groceries and vegetables.I wish they had fish also but they do have frozen chicken and other options.They do not have greek yogurt but a lot of other options.

Great place!! Wouldve give it 5 stars if it wasnt that the Dominican cashier showed a little attitude in her face like she didnt wanna be there.. maybe be a little more friendly next time? Or maybe she was having a bad day. Will try again tomorrow, bUt all in all, they have a little bit of everything here! My new spot to shop for my frUits and goodies.

I when there today and saw that they had Perdue Simply Smart and other Perdue products drastically reduced...as i was looking at the packaging...I noticed the labels werent on correctly and that the product had no expiration date...from what I know all supermarkets that sell this product all have expiration dates. How do I know if this product is still good to consume?... I asked the cashier if there was a expiration date on the package and she proceeded to look for it ...after not finding one she asked me if I still wanted the item...this place just opened up not too long ago and this type of thing is happening. Who knows what else is shady there. I also saw Harvestland Perdue which is organic priced at 7.99 reduced to 2.29 a package now that seems very strange to me.They need to get inspectors out there and check this place out.
