Its most unfortunate that this market is getting ready to close. Its the only bona fide supermarket in Journal Square, and it is excellent on many levels. It also features the best fish counter in Jersey City. Im hopefully that the fish man will be able to find another location because I will miss him.

Great variety especially of Latin American foods, amazing prices on some of the produce especially potatoes and bananas. There is also a fresh 🐟 market and butcher on the premises.

Its walking distance so people who lives around can walk to the store this is very convenient.

Twin city is overpriced and looks unclean, Not much of a variety. The only good thing is the employees were all very nice. I could not find an item and one young man offered to walk me to the isle, we walked down the isle and he showed me to the exact spot of the item. Checkout was a breeze and there wa no crowding.

Rude staff. Items are hard to find. Outrageous prices. Three strikes, you’re out! The interior is also dirty. Go around the corner to Ctown. They actually care about their customers.

Best nearby store for fruits & vegetables. They sell fish also bit they never seemed fresh.

Didnt feel welcomed at all employees looked and acted like they didnt want to be there l. Cheese and turkey section employee was nice. Weak selection in almost everything the whole supermarket felt so limited. Couldnt find alot of stuff unfortunately dont know if ill come back.

They decided to close at 9pm and never updated the info on Google that says their closing time is 10pm, so I went all the way there just to find it closed. Unprofessional.

Items are marked cheaper on the shelf than when it rings up. I informed the cashier what the price was on the shelf, so they sent someone to check who took a picture to show me there was no sticker showing any prices 😒👎. Obviously they ripped off the sticker price over on the shelf. It would have been nice if they were just honest and said the price increased and the sticker wasnt updated. Terrible staff at this store!

I live in Manhattan and I wish they had this supermarket in New York. I love their huge world wide ethnic food diversity! I am a big foodie person. I could get everything in one place( Latin American, Asian, American, Middle Eastern), etc. Moreover, they have a huge selection of seafood department and they are very fresh! Thank you Twin City. Its a treat if I could go there once in a while and buy stuff. They even have a coat check area! Awesome.

Clean, well arranged, pleasant, so very well stocked! And theyll get you a Uber if you buy over $50.00 in grocery!! There is a diversity of produce, meats, cheeses, perishables and non perishables that cater to - honestly - every community that lives in this wonderful neighborhood! North America, Central and parts of South America, Caribbean (Island and Indo-Caribbean), West African, South Asian, basic East Asian, South East Asian (Pinoy, Malay, Thai) some East European too (!!) Staff are friendly, efficient, really diverse and really nice. I love cooking and in all my five years and counting here in JSQ, I am extremely glad for this place.

I like that the whole store is like the ethnic section of the other grocery stores. Latin music is always playing when I go there, which is nice. I get decent service. They have pretty good prices on root vegetables plus theyre fresher than at the other grocery store about 5 blocks away.

This is a remarkable grocery store if youre into diverse and interesting international food. There are options here serving many of the communities in Jersey City, so theres a lot of flavor and interesting things. Also, theres a huge meat section.

Best market in Jersey City. Great international food selection. Prices are higher on most things, but usually the produce is priced well and is mostly great quality. But you know how to pick your own produce.Its the only place in town I can always buy tomatillos.

I really dont think I want to shop in there again. One of the most racist stores Ive ever been in. And if its not their store owners or management, its definitely security. Ive never had an issue in that store and I do not go to stores without money. But every time I walk in that store I get followed by security and one even had the nerve to take a picture of me from a distance sneakingly. The worst treatment you can get from a business that makes money off the local community. And I live less than a block away

Typical supermarket with lots of international options to cater to its diverse neighborhood. I only wish their aisle signs had more on them. No matter how many times I go here, I cant remember where anything is. The staff is friendly and helps to the best of their ability.

This place is good for when you need something last minute. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. But they could be expensive I advise people to shop at shoprite or Walmart it is less expensive.

Theres always a beggar or two around the entrance of the store, it could be a little cleaner, and even their ad prices arent anything to go there for 99% of the time, with anything decent requiring you to spend $50 or more just for the one decent sale item. Live a block away though and once in a while, they have boneless skinless chicken breasts at less than $2 a pound and carry many Spanish ingredients and items, but would rather shop elsewhere for just about everything else.

This store has the same prices on regular products as any other supermarket. That given, the sales are legitimately cheaper, downright suggestable. If its conventient for you this place is definitely worth while. Not really as nice or inviting as a whole foods, but the selections are better than a deli by miles.

This place came under new management and is now AQUI Market. It is honestly the grossest place to get your groceries. Its constantly dirty and full of bottles/jars with dust on them. The new owner has jacked up the prices, and its smells like a dirty diaper. Honestly, never, never go there. The health department should look into this place.

This place is discusting. 1st time bought some fresh bread and there was mold growing on it. 2nd time got some regular bagged bread the back of it had holes as if mice were chewing on it. Now today bought a few things opened up a bag of chicken nuggets and the mold was growing on all nuggets. This place needs help .

Prices may vary in some items, but overall its a treasure JUST to have a Super supermarket right in your neighborhood where you can find everything you would normally go to ShopRite or Pathmark for just to save a buck or dollar!!! Yes, the stuffs are rude and even the manager too. They change the name from Twin city, its now Aqui Market.Shopping here for past three years.They dont know how to do business and behave. Stare everyone as a suspect and not pleasant with anyone. No sign of professionalism. Dirty,not cleaned. But definitely most of the grocery department check-out stuff needs training to run the business. They dont know where the item is, dont understand English, dont know the price, most important how to be polite with a customer. Living few blocks away, have to go again because of fresh fish & free parking.

This supermarket is ok for the area its in I mean if youre looking for the basics in this place is great if youre looking for a wide selection then you have to go to the city I didnt see too many organics on display but it is good if you just want the basics like bread milk and meat
