I went in not knowing exactly what style of sofa I wanted and I was met with friendly, curtious help. I found the perfect sofa and saved 30%! I highly recommend Casual Home.

Selection was fair. Pricing was fair. We walked in as soon as the store opened and were never greeted. When we went to the front with questions, we were approached by a friendly salesman who was rudely interrupted by a female employee that informed us her customer was first. She did not offer assistance, and he did not try to correct the situation. Ill drive to Evansville and buy my Ashley furniture from Ashley. We are new to town and definitely did not feel welcomed.

Jane helped us pick out our furniture. She was great, not pushy, and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. If she didnt know the answer she would go out of her way to find out. I would give her 5 stars. The only downfall was some of their stuff takes 6 months to come in, but we understand this is beyond their control. I am giving 1 star for the delivery experience. We were told they would be delivering on Thursday. Instead they showed up today, Wednesday, mid morning. We were not prepared at all. We saved and sacrificed for a long time to be able to buy new furniture. I had moved out half of our old furniture yesterday. I was doing some spring cleaning and painting before the arrival of the furniture tomorrow so everyhing would be perfect. A white unmarked van showed up in my driveway. Two boys got out, and came to the door. I cracked the door open. They told me they were here to deliver a couch and loveseat. I told them we were told delivery was Thursday and I was not ready to have the furniture brought in. One said they arent working tomorrow and would have to bring it next week. We will not be here next week, and I had already moved half of my furniture out. I understand that people make mistakes and things can get miscomminucated, but an apology and commitment to deliver on the day we were told would have been appropriate customer service. I wasnt sure what to do so I let them bring it inside. It was raining outside. They came in my house with wet shoes and no booties. I tried calling the store to talk with a manager or owner about my experience but got a voicemail which does not take messages. We planned to come back to purchase a mattress and end tables. We will not be doing that.

Rachel was so helpful. As soon as I walked in she acknowledged my family and asked how she could help. After finding out what I was looking for she directed me in a few places but was not putting on a hard sell which I really appreciated. She made herself available for questions but didnt hover. It was a very easy shopping experience and I was able to find exactly what I needed quickly. Update - It has been 11 1/2 weeks since the order and only have 2 of the 4 pieces that I ordered. Nobody has been able to even give me a rough estimate on when the remaining items will be here. Absolutely no guess. I stopped in over the weekend (at 11 weeks after the order) and said one of the pieces may be in on Tuesdays shipment. I guess it wasnt on the shipment, as I have not heard from them. I NEVER would have ordered this item if I had known it would be over 3 months to receive half of it. They cant get an answer from Ashley furniture, even though Ashley said in an email to me that they should be able to contact the Ashley Customer Relations Manager to get order status. I have no idea what to do now. No one can even say for sure that I will get the 2 remaining pieces anytime in the near future. I am stuck. I will NOT do business with Casual Home again.

Overall we got a great deal...However if you buy Ashley...your going to wait a very long time for new furniture. They do have great sales. Rachel worked well with us. Still waiting for the remainder of my purchase...but itll be new and last for a very long time. Worth the wait.

Prices are okay. We were greeted immediately and left to look around. The salesperson checked in with us and answered a question or 2 and disappeared. Generally, when people ask questions, you want to hang around for a move to close the sale. As someone who used to teach sales, it is the standard. No attempt to upsale or add on. Maybe we we’re judged by our appearance. It’s sad that customer service isn’t what I remember training.

Very rude and short as soon as she asked what we were wanting to spend. She actually told me I laid on the mattress wrong!!!! What?!Thank you Pete. We have already made our purchase elsewhere. If we ever need another mattress, Ill be sure to ask for you.

We were very pleased with our experience at Casual Home. Our salesperson was helpful and went all out to help us find what we were looking for. When we left the store we noticed that it was 35 minutes past their closing time but the salesperson not once made any reference to the time while we were there.
