Everyone who worked here is very polite. The reason for 1 star is thay they sold me and absolutely terrible truck. Since I got my 2007 f250 from here, I have noticed more and more wrong than what was ever noted to me at the dealership. There is a leak going down straight to the fuse box, the dash lights randomly turn off, ac only blows cold for 20 to 30 minutes, when I bought it the whole back seat was not put together and all bolts were missing from it, the suspension cranks and rattles over every bump, and it makes a terrible screeching sound a 2k rpms. I will never buy a vehicle from here again. I wouldve liked to have known all this information before purchasing an entire vehicle and financing it.

I bought a 2008 F-250 from them in 2017. They sold me a lemon! This truck hasnt ran right since I bought it. Theyve sent my truck to Boltons garage twice to have the motor rebuilt and it still doesnt run right and constantly has problems. So many problems that I rarely even get to drive this truck. When I got the truck it had 111,000 miles on it and Ive only put 6,000 miles on it in over 3 years. This was the worst purchase Ive ever made and I regret buying this truck from Hometown. Its currently in the diesel shop now.

I never felt like they were out to sell me a truck but more like they were there to help me buy one. I was quite pleased with the entire experience and that they knew enough about their lenders to find me one that suited my credit and desired payment. I would most definitely advise Hometown and will look to them first on future purchases. I dealt with Matt who was great, but everyone I encountered was very nice and helpful.

LOVE HOMETOWN AUTO SALES!!! We have bought 2 cars from Hometown. A Mazda 6 and a Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 both in excellent condition. These guys are the best. Not only do they have great vehicles with an exceptional warranty, but they are Godly men with great Christian Values. A friend of mine purchased a vehicle from there and the salesman had put a personalized thank you card and a Holy Bible in their glove box sometime before they left. They didnt find it until the next day and were moved to tears. I will definitely be purchasing my next vehicle from here.

Alittle pricey of some of there used vehicles. But Ed and his staff very friendly and constantly rotating stock on vehicles. Clean and run great.

Im giving them 3 stars because these are used cars, so not all will be perfect with them BUT... we bought a vehicle from them that they had advertised for a couple of weeks online. The vehicle looked great on the lot. We test drove it, and bought it. 1st problem is,the tires are a l too big for the vehicle because the front tires scrub the wheel well every time you make a hard right or left turn, which was not noticeable on the short test drive. 2nd, the vehicle sat in our driveway overnight the first night and the next morning there was an oil leak stain that was about the size of a softball. We havent taken it to the shop yet to see how much that is going to cost us. 3rd, we hand washed the vehicle a few days after we purchased it and many long  scratches appeared on both sides and down the length of the vehicle that were not noticeable before the wash. The scratches look really bad. I wish they had not used filler and glaze or whatever they used to hide them. The salesman Matt was very friendly and we got a good rate, but just wish we had at least known about all the scratches up front. The scratches would have been a deal breaker.

Love our truck from Hometown Auto Sales and the lifetime power train warranty! They provided us with the CarFax before we began signing paperwork. The buying process was fast and smooth. I would purchase from them again.

DO NOT buy anything from this sorry excuse of a business, they spend thousands of dollars on aftermarket parts on their trucks such as rims, tires, light bars, lift kits etc; so they can raise the price to earn the money back they spent on said parts and make a profit at the same time, they wanted $48,000 for a lifted 2012 Silverado with after market rims and tires and this truck had over 200,000 miles on it...i looked at a 2001 F150 that had 89,000 miles and they wanted almost $17,000...went to the bank to see about financing and was told by the loan officer that the truck wasnt worth what they where trying to sell if for and no bank around here is going to approve financing for $17,000 on a truck that is 16 years old, i checked the bluebook on that F150 of the same year, make and model and the highest the value goes for a truck like that is only $7,500...i urge anyone reading this to stay from Hometown Auto Sales...they are shady people with shade tree mechanics, with salesmen who have no clue how to properly price vehicles or run a used car/truck business

Fantastic experience!! Roger stayed late to wait on us to drive from Gardendale. He gave us what we wanted for our trade in and a great price on the 2007 Nissan Xterra. No pressure. Very nice guy!!!

Salesman was unfriendly and didnt do what he said he would. Decided texted was more important than dealing with potential customers. Maybe it was just a bad day for him, but still no reason to act to disinterested in customers. Went down the road to another dealer and were treated with respect and got a much better deal!

If you’re Looking to buy a vehicle and happen to stop here ask for Terry, he’ll do you right and he is a man of his word.

Got a Dodge Ram 2500 from this place an had to spend 1200 of my money to fix what they or they had done to it. Called for some reimbursement but no return call, so that tells me they knew what they done to the truck.Stay away from this place bad bad vehicles an after the sell STINKS!!!! No help what so ever !!!!!

Drove 5 hrs to look at a truck get there both front and rear door where scratch all up like a dog jumped on em so both driver side door needed painting bed cap was missing right bed side needing painting and the back seat was broke and leather pulling loose that they claimed to not no about and failed to mention the scratches long story short waste of time and dealing with someone that new nothing about the truck
