Well, Id love to give them 5 stars as Ive ordered from this location before but this time its 1 star (actually 0 if I could). I placed a pickup order yesterday for a pickup between 10:30-11AM. I arrived around 10:45 AM and all the lights were on but the door was locked, the sign they put outside was blocking the inside exit door and there was no one (emp) inside. I guess like all businesses they either couldnt get anyone to work today or whoever was on decided he/she was going to take the day off. Too bad for the San Jose location. Ill be ordering about $80 worth of Thanksgiving day food in a few weeks. The Blanding location in Orange Park will get my business again this year.

I recently started new job and they catered us lunch. Omg I’ve never heard of this place, BUT from that day forward I fell in love. I had the smoked turkey classic. It was the best sandwich I’ve had in my entire life. I’m proud to say I will be a life long customer.

I drove all the way here from St Augustine because they were so rude! This location, every single employee was so sweet and kind! It was worth the drive and very pleasant to work with. Thank you so much!

I reserved a ham and turkey for thanksgiving almost 2 weeks in advanced.I had not paid for it as I always pay when I pick it up ( I have ordered a ham every year from this location for over 10 years ).When I went to pick up my order today I was told that they only had orders for those who have pre paid.According to the woman at the store they had a high volume of walk ins and had sold everything except what they had reserved for the people who had prepaid there orders.This is a poor way to run a business what was the point in me coming in and reserving / pre ordering a ham if your not going to hold my order and just sell to anyone walking up the day of pick up.This store and there poor management has ruined my familys thanksgiving this year.I have been buying from this store by pre ordering and paying when I pick up for years and years and years and this is the first time they have ever had an issue, however the issue they had was unacceptable.I do not know if its under new management or not but regardless if it is or not there franchise should be removed and sold to someone who knows how to properly run a business.I will not return to this store after this epic failure.I would have given zero stars but not an option

Recently visited the The Honey Baked Ham on San Jose Blvd. to order take outham sandwiches and sides. The ham had a different taste not the same as other times it was ordered. The croissant was hard and had to be cut in half to eat it. Ham/crossiant ordered at different times was always light and not so hard to eat.Ordered sweet tea and ended up with non sweet. The cookies were the best part of the order. I was disappointed in the quality of the food. Maybe lunch time is the best time to order instead of mid afternoon to get fresher food.

I RESERVED a small ham for pickup today. I arrive and was told the cheapest ham was $93.00!But I reserved a $30 - $40 ham!She said they had a lot of people come in without reservations so they bought all the smaller hams. So whats the purpose of making a reservation?? She had no concept of customer service or appreciation. The attitude was - So what, take it or leave it... as she didnt care at all that Honey Baked Ham Company lack of organization had ruined a planned family event. Amazing hams and turkeys. The sweet crusted glaze on the spiral cut ham is a treat in itself. I have never had a bad ham from this place. Their smoked turkeys are very juicy and bursting with flavor. I recommend getting a ham and a turkey for your holiday gathering. The ham bone makes some delicious collard greens after youve picked it clean. I used to go in and eat lunch there years a go, but I havent done that in a while. Their sandwiches were awesome and never dry.

Very good ham sandwich on chiabata bread. Potato salad was a bit on the sweet side but very tasty to me.

Great ham and great service. People were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist us in our purchase and carrying out to our car. The food is amazing. A little Pricey but very worth it!

Always busy this time of the year but service is good the line moved. Got in there and waited 30 minutes to be served but the line moved 6 people serving at the counter. Huge variety of food for the holidays. Store is clean and well organized.

Product just as great as always however, customer service was very disappointing. After waiting in line for 30 to 45 minutes, I am being questioned if I entered the store using a different door and insinuating I cut in line. Very unprofessional and disappointing, definitely makes me consider other options after being a customer for years.

Great product . Our parent company always sends us gift cards for Christmas and we wait anxiously for them. Holidays wouldn’t be complete without honey baked ham!

COVID-19 safe and delicious Honey Baked Ham.

I just wanted to shout out for the awesome above and beyond customer service provided by Shanavia at Honey Baked Ham on San Jose. I arrive at 456pm when the store closed at 5pm on a Sunday. She was so gracious, professional and efficient - 15 mins after closing time, she was just finishing up our order. I cannot speak highly enough of Shanavia and her commitment to HBH and outstanding customer service. I drive an extra 15 miles just to shop at this store.

I wish to commend the staff and management at this Honey Baked Ham location for making an extra effort to accommodate an urgent need. Without going into all the details, they went way above and beyond what we have come to experience from most retailers these days and got the job done for me, as together, we assisted a grieving family in a time of need. They have absolutely earned my loyalty for all future needs and I most highly recommend the great food and great folks at Honey Baked Ham on San Jose Blvd. Extremely well done!

Hell of a line!!! Stood in line for 2 hours. Feel sorry for the end of the line. They close at 8 pm and they all may not get in. I walked out at 7:45. will be interesting.

The ham is sublime. It really is, but you know, its ham. Seems odd that a hamcentric place would continue to thrive. Its a pretty low key meat. The boxed lunches are nice, the office enjoys them, but its a haul for me personally, so if its not a work type thing, I will most likely not be dining here. Although thats more a statement on my profound laziness rather than the ham itself.

I work as a home health aide. The staff here are so wonderful when I have a client with me. They are helpful in making accommodations and are so kind. They go out of the way to help others.

Service was s little slow, but OMG the ham is SOOOO good. One of the best ham sandwiches Ive ever had, period. Bought a package of their sliced ham to bring home. Seriously, its really good.

For two years in a row Honey Baked Ham has lost my order at Christmas and been unable to find a ham anywhere near the size I was assured would be available for pickup. It appears to be a classic bait and switch to get a few more bucks. I will never go to this store again.

I tried to pick up my Pre ordered boneless ham after work. There was only 1 line to get into the store. After 2.5 hours in the line, I learned they are out of boneless ham.
