Definitely need to re-train your customer service reps on active listening and leaving negative personal opinions out of a conversation when your supposed to be assisting a customer. I’ve went there twice within the last couple of days, the first time the rep (Sabrina) was very rude by cutting me of mid sentence when I attempted to ask about the possibilities of repairing an XBox external hard drive and just refused to even offer any alternatives to that. Today I go back to cancel some pre-orders I had on my account and the same rep (Sabrina) told me “I think your making a mistake.” The only mistake I made was coming to this GameStop thinking I would get exceptional service for my hard earned money.

Forgot to post this review but I was 3rd on the PlayStation 5 preorder list and never got a call to come preorder it I’m 100% sure some of the employees there back doored the ps5 and gave first dibs to there buddies what’s the sense of putting your name down on a preorder list if they gonna screw your anyways never pre ordering nothing at the GameStop at Jacksonville mall again. Shady employees

I really wish I would give zero stars, but I guess one will do. These people never answer the phone. And the answering machine is always full, which clearly means they done respond to the messages and delete the old. Actually, I dont know why Im giving doing this review. Corporate cleanly doesnt do anything about this. Because Im cleanly not the only one to leave a bad review.

Asked customers do they need help you were not busy and never once engaged with my son or asked did he need help. Counter girls are chatty with each other learn to be chatty with a customer and you may sell something. small store .There is a game stop on every corner your store is not that special . I know you dont have to sell something but you are not owners your workers make sure to greet the customer, asked do they need help. what are you looking for today .........simple stuff like that .

Love all game stops and have shopped just about all of them in and around area. They are consistent in service and getting customers through registers!! I feel this is very important!

I being eighteen tried to co purchase with a seventeen year old, grand theft auto five and because we were accompanied by his younger brother who they forced to show his id even though he wasnt making the purchase they refuse to do a co purchase and then I left and came back in by myself and tried to purchase the same game and they denied my purchase. I have been coming to this game stop since 7 years old and have never felt this offended in the time I been living here.

For a game stop this location is pretty good. The staff is nice and genuinely seems to want to help you whenever they can.

I took my son here to get some new XBOX 360 games. They had a nice selection and were reasonable in prices.

Went to trade in a game, 3 people were working. One woman that was pregnant stated that she was busy and couldnt help me. So, I went to the other person that was at a register, he asks me to put in my number to pull up my account. He asked me my last name which I provided, the info matched my the phone number I provided ofcourse. He tells me how much my trade was worth and the difference that I owed for the game I went to purchase. I hand him the money and at the last minute, he asks for my id... which I left in the car because Ive never been asked for my id at freakin gamestop. So, I walk all the way out to my car to get my liscense and come back and 40 people were in line.... I just left. Highly irritated, especially after I went to gamestop by walmart and stood in line for 20 minutes just to get to the register and they decide to make the line I was standing in for purchases only... so then they expected me to go stand at the end off the other line... customer service was extremely poor at both locations. Yall suck..... period.

I went in to trade out my sons 2DS with a broken SD card slot for a new one. The clerk made it a quick simple transaction. Even though I had forgotten all of my powerup card login info, he was able to pull up my account & switch out the DS quickly thanks to always having a warranty.
