I googled this company and it looked reputable. I drove all the way to their show room which was over a half an hour from where I live with my three-year-old. The door was locked and there was a sign to knock or a call. I knocked on the door and a woman opened it and came outside. She told me that everything was by appointment only and I could not be seen. I informed her that I just needed to see their quartz slabs and wouldn’t take more than 5 minutes of her time. She said no and that I would have to call and make an appointment. Completely insensitive and unwilling to be in any way accommodating. I will never use this company for any projects ever because of her.

The installers were so rude and disrespectful. They refused to acknowledge me as the client, choosing to only ask for my husband to answer questions. They even had the nerve to ask if my husband was my father. They were scheduled to be at our home for the first time slot assigned in the morning, and did not arrive until nearly 5pm. They installed one of our counter tops crooked, leaving part of the cabinets exposed. I am so disappointed in our experience after spending thousands of dollars on new granite counters.

Our company uses Florida Custom Marble for counters on new construction. Their selection, fit, finish and customer service are excellent. They stock a lot of slabs and they also do the fabrication and installation. Thats part of the reason why you cant just pop in without an appointment to look at material. They have a lot of extra equipment that the other stores dont have. Take the time to call and make an appointment, you wont be disappointed.

Scheduling an in home consultation with this company is a nightmare. I was referred here by Home Depot and contacted Jen for an in home consult for new quartz countertops. The soonest appointment she could give was a six week wait and I agreed and trusted that she had me in the system and we were good to go. She said she was going on a month vacation but either she or Gary would be my in home consultant. I never heard anything from her again and today, the day before my appointment, I have had no communication or confirmation and no idea if anyone would be here tomorrow. I called and left Jen a message on her voicemail that in no uncertain terms reminds you to CALL ONLY ONCE! When she did not get back to me, I called and spoke with Gary who could nit find me in the schedule or calendar. He said he would have Jen call me back. It is now after their office hours and I’ve heard nothing from them. After calling Home Depot and advising of the situation with their vender and the total lack of respect and communication, they agreed to check the situation out and call it up the line as they know that they are also loosing a customer. NOTE: at approximately 7:00 PM, I received a call from Jen stating that she had me on her private calendar. She could not give a reason for the failed communication and contact except to say that they are extremely busy and can not keep up with all the business. I said, then you should take your name off the Home Depot rotational list and she replied “point well taken”.

So so disappointed. I’m just thankful we didn’t make it all the way to the install process, because I would be sad and out thousands of dollars. These people are not well versed in instal. I am switching from a typical over mount sink to apron front/ farmhouse over mount sink (I’ve used this exact sink before just for reference). They asked me to instal my NEW sink into my OLD counters just for the template( this is not normal, I have had quartz installed several times and have never even taken my sink out of the box for template, they take your model number and specs and digitally place it, in a normal process.) This is a huge risk to your new sink as well. How would you cut through quartz or granite as a typical home owner to instal your new sink? With a diamond edge blade which is extremely dangerous for someone who doesn’t know what they are doing, and NOT normal. You are paying the granite people for a reason. What if you don’t have counters? These are both questions I asked and they didn’t have answers for. I don’t know if they need someone new in the front desk or if they are all around just uneducated in this process. Our existing counters are thinner than our new ones so we would have a gap in our cabinets once new counters are installed if we install the sink prior (again, farm house sink). They can’t seem to handle a simple measurement, what else will they miss. Again, I have done homes, I have friends and family that do homes and I have never dealt with such incompetence. If you order counters from Home Depot this is who you get, so buyer beware. We now have to look for a new installer along with counters because they were a package deal.

We just had a countertop installed by Florida Custom Marble. From start to finish the process was excellent. The weather was a bit wet and the contractors took extra care to minimize dust and water intrusion during the installation process. I wanted to take a moment to commend Bernardo and his counterpart (I did not catch his name) for being extremely professional and providing an excellent service. This professionalism is why I will recommend Florida Custom Marble whenever the opportunity presents itself.Sincerely,Sean and Michelle Byers

Worst company to work for they steal your money. They promise a lot and when it comes down to it they cut corners to steal from employees paychecks.

Salesman misspelled my email from when Home Depot sent it to him, argued with me about it, refused to get me in touch with his boss, and closed my file. Wasted a week and a half with these guys. Dont bother, go to someone else.

Florida Custom Marble has been a reliable and reputable source of countertops for my company for years. They are responsive, competitively priced, and willing to go that extra mile to ensure their customers leave satisfied. I interact with Loni and staff multiple times a week and I have yet to have an issue that was left unresolved. I will continue to refer both my clients and family to them. Thank you for placing value on customer service!
