I recently acquired a 1993 Jeep Wrangler. Its lots of fun, but the exhaust fumes were a bit strong when we drove it with the top off. I asked a friend thats in the repair biz what he could do, he said take it to muffler city on sunbeam, they are simply the best.He was right. From making the appointment to payment to delivery it was super easy. They installed a much cheaper alternative than a cat converter, and its great! I inspected their weld work, and it was excellent.As an aside, I had a slightly bent rear frame, and a bumper that needed to be installed and it was also bent. I asked them if they could do...and did they ever! Straightened em both, and installed with some sweet new bolts as well. Fantastic work. HIGHLY recommend.

My radiator cracked and they had a quote to me within minutes. Everyone was polite and willing to discuss repairs with me. Their team stayed in contact with me and gave me updates and recommended repairs. I completed muffler repairs in 2018 w/1 year warranty. However, the muffler fell after accumulating an extensive amount of rust. After much deliberation, as I was out of warranty, I called and Mr. Ron advise I return for repairs. Not only did he replaced the muffler but he also allotted a 2 year warranty on the replacement. I was completely shock and taken back as tears filled my eyes. Please, I encourage you to take all your vehicle issues to them as they mufflers, arent the only job they offer.....they take care of all vehicle issues. I went from duals (horribly done), back to a Single exit exhaust. I was considering single exit and they talked me into a single 3 Super 10 with double walled/beveled tip. Would give this place 20 stars if I could, and I am not known for Exaggeration. They are by far the Best place my family and I have gone to. They are able to fix Antiques, Carburetors and all. Only a few things, like Major Engine Work and Engine Replacement, are beyond them.

I went to Muffler City one month ago on a referral from a friend, and they did not disappoint. They installed an axleback exhaust for me, and JR walked me through my options for the muffler, even held the different mufflers that I was considering up to the car while it was on the rack, and showed me all of the exhaust tips that I could choose from in their inventory. In the end, I got exactly what I wanted, and the wait at the shop that day was well worth it, as they do great, professional work at a reasonable price. I know where I’ll be sending any of my friends for an upgraded exhaust!

I took my sons truck in for repair,first of all these guys were the only ones that would look at it that particular day when all others said that they was to busy to look at it....they gave me a fair quote so I set up an appt. To get it fixed ..I knew it was going to be a hard job because of the rusty bolts, the mechanic fought with it for hours but got it fixed and did a great job.....the repair went a little longer than estimated but they split the time with me which I thought was more than fair....I will definitely. Be using muffler city for the rest of my needs....they are very professional and courtesy....

Took my car there to get exhaust work done on it, called through the phone asked how much for a double resonator and double muffler delete and use the tips that my car had they said 160$ when I took my car they got it up on the lift then they said 300$ ? They changed prices abruptly, don’t recommend coming here.

Needed my muffler system looked at. They were very quick at getting the car on the hoist and diagnosed the problem. The nanager showed me the worn part and explained how they would replace the rusting expansion joints. He took the time to explain how I could save some money. The repair was done within the time stated and the costs were reasonable and fair. Very happy with the repair. I definitely recommend them.

Not pleased at all. Took car in for timing chain replacement and my car had a rattling sound. Took car back the next day and was told the sound was bad spark plugs. Had another mechanic check my car out. Found out that there are defective parts on the car and no warranty because they ordered my parts online. They overcharged me. Paid $3400 on this repair and still had to have another timing chain kit put on by another repair shop for half the price. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Will never take my car back there.

If I had more stars for the amount of service the men and women at Muffler City provided I would give them all of them literally guided me and instructed me on the best exhaust set up even informed me on problems they found. I personally will be doing business with them in the near future again!

If I could rate this place 10 stars I would. I had been on the phone with numerous muffler shops and I came across Muffler City Auto Repair. Absolute best thing that could’ve happen. I came in a little after 2. Ron, showed me a car just like mine that they were working on a new exhaust system and he let me listen to it to see if I liked it. I told him whatever you did to that, I want it. He knew that he was going to be a little short handed at that time, but he made it happen. He said “I’ll jump in and do it if I have to”. That right there showed me his character and he earned my trust. Needless to say, this was worth the hour drive. I love my new exhaust system! They got my V6 sounding like a V8! I recommend this place to everyone! Trust me, you will not regret it!

Unfortunately I had my exhaust done here and after paying $500 I found that the way they ran my exhaust was burning through a wiring harness but said no wires were burnt through ( which I don’t believe) and yes they rerouted my pipe, also the chrome tips they put on are now pitted and rusted horribly. I get it chrome does this but this is only after about 4 months and their products are already rusting out after I took their lead exhaust guys word and bought the exhaust he recommended. I’d recommend finding a different exhaust shop to do your work. Honestly Rainbow Mufflers is cheaper and I’ve had better experiences there.

The place is like any other mechanic shop. Their work was top notch, they explained what was going on and even test fitted a muffler onto my truck to ensure I liked the sound before welding it into place. Their welds are clean and I got what I came in for.The 1 star deduction is for pricing. I was quoted a price over the phone of $230, higher than other places but not overly so. They had a great reputation and stellar reviews, so I chose them. Only after removing the original muffler and test fitting the new one did the price then jump to $260. Upon checkout the final bill was just over $300.. over $70 more than quoted!Overall.. they do good work, but need to be up-front about their pricing, shop fees, and taxes before any work is started on a vehicle.

Very happy with the service i had completed here! My Mazda was sounding very loud and come to find out my exhaust was rotting. They were quick to give me a fair quote which was in my price range. I have a few important things to say... i called the day before needed help because I knew I wanted to improve the sound of my car I just didn’t know what I need they gave me important details and told me I’m here when you want to get started I came in right after work the nexts day walked in at 5pm car was in the air shortly after explained important things to me he told me his thoughts on what he thought would be nice and in a good price range I went with what his thoughts was....the mods haven’t been on my car for 6 hours and I’m VERY satisfied I will continue to be a costumer.. I recently bought a new truck and wanted a nice sounding muffler/exhaust system over the stock one. The only info I had to go on was from watching YouTube videos. A friend of mine recommended that I take my truck to Muffler City and Im glad I did. Ron listened to what I was looking for and then took the time to explain the functionality of several mufflers AND what would work best for my specific truck, as well as meet the sound I wanted. He didnt try to over sell me on anything and got me exactly what I wanted...and the installation was professional. I was fair on sharing with Facebook before sharing this on google. The guy at the front desk wasnt friendly in my opinion. The guy working on my car did a great job however he got into a bad fight (verbal fight) with another machanic for 10 mins. Sorry but regardless if Im inside or outside you should be professional. I was quoted 60 bucks to have a y pipe installed. After the work was done I was charged 70 Im okay with that. But they said they had to cut my y pipe and it was steel and I ruined 3 or 4 of there shop blades cutting the material. So they charged me 30 bucks extra. Im sorry your a muffler shop you need to buy better blades for your job thats not my fault. I had 6 different exhuast done between two different shops both in gainsville. This shop is my first problem Ive ever had.

I’ve had a problem with my vehicle for a year and took it to a number of shops .Even dropped my truck off for the day only to be charge $100 for 1 pound of Freon and that was not the problem !I was extremely upset and no one could tell me why my truck was acting up when my ac was on .I went a year not turning on my AC . This is Florida it’s Hot. I almost gave up !But I ended up having a problem with my Muffler took my vehicle to Muffler City and let me tell you on my first visit there they were able to diagnose my problem order the part get it in in a timely manner my truck was done within three hours and my check engine light has not come back on my truck runs great and most of all me and my kids can enjoy the AC again thank you I will definitely recommend and return to Muffler City

Took my 2018 F-150 into Muffler City to add a dual exhaust system. Ron went through options, and based on my wants, made a suggestion. Because this is the 9th vehicle he has installed dual exhausts on, I trusted his opinion, and went with it.Ron called me a few hours later to clarify what he understood I wanted. About 30 minutes later he called again, to explain an issue they ran into with that particular model. Again, he offered several solutions. I told him to go with the one he would take for himself were it his truck.A few hours later, I picked up my truck. As usual, a beautiful job and Ron was spot on with his recommendations.I highly recommend these folks, especially for exhaust work. The installation was stellar, nice weld seems and perfect alignment of the tips.Thank you Ron and staff, for hitting nine straight home runs!

The bottom line is that I called these guys around 1:30pm on a busy Friday, and they had me taken care of by 3:30pm. Needed an adapter / reducer installed. One end welded, and the other end clamped per my request. They worked around existing work and got it done for a reasonable price. Thanks for knocking this out on such short notice.

I first brought my 1978 ford bronco in for some small exhaust repair. They gave me options and left it up to me to choose whatever I’d like to have them do. Really appreciate the consideration and transparency.They were happy to show me exactly what’s going on.Since then I have been back 3 times to have them check out and do more work on my Baby bronco. I recently brought my wifes Chevy pickup in to have a noisy exhaust system checked out. I told Ron I thought it was the catalytic converter which had been replaced years ago, and had the same sound. That was a more costly part of the system. Ron checked it out and said that part was fine that I just needed a muffler which was less money. It is sometimes difficult to find an auto repair shop that is that honest, and I have been to some who were not. Muffler City did a great job The truck sounds quiet like it did when we bought it.

I was referred to Muffler City by a friend after I had purchased a new truck. I was looking for a muffler with some nice sound but nothing obnoxious. Great place and good service

Went here Less than a month ago to fix an issue with my exhaust. Found out it was the manifold and I needed new motor mounts. Well when I got the car back a week or two later there was a clinging in my engine, dad checked it out for me and saw that one of my screws was completely gone and the other was loose and was making the clinging noise. Now not even a full month later Im starting to hear the hissing sound of my manifold again. Spent almost a grand to fix those two things. Not going back here again. Wished I would of looked at other places before I came here.

Thank yous with great apprecition going out again to Ron and JR of Muffler City of North Florida. This is my third sports car where Muffler City has modified my cars exhaust. First a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT, then a 2010 Chevrolet C5 Corvette and now a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS. All modified to my expectations and wallet in mind. If you like a throaty rumble without the straight-pipe noise...Muffler City should be your first and last stop. Talk about service after the sale...after leaving his shop I entered the highway. I discovered a drone noise related to the exhaust that was in no way tolerable. I called Ron from the road and he told me to come back. He and JR put their heads together and efficiently solved my drone noise. I couldnt be happier with my rumble or the service that was provided. Have confidence that you and your car are in great hands.

Edit: No response or attempt to solve the problem in 2 months.There is a skillful and helpful staff (mostly), but I have had a bad experience with the shop. I was sold “Flowmasters” I knew they were off-brand but they were described as exactly the same. I had ear piercing drone for a month and had to go back to change my mufflers back to stock. Their prices are fair but not as good as other shops. The quality of the welds and fitment were great the 1st time. That time I had a guy who was knowledgeable and had been working there for many years. The second time they had a new guy work on my car. My main complaint is about the new guy. My tips were installed too far back and unevenly. The owner talked to me about price and when I went back he was not there. They would not contact him to verify the price and would not honor his prices. He quoted me $60 and they tried to charge me $130. Do your research before going in.Overall, if you are lucky enough to get the staff that cares then you’ll have a good experience.All companies make mistakes and I would be happy to resolve this. I know they are better than the quality I received.

I brought my Silverado up there on Monday knowing that it was going to take a lot of work to fix my leak. It ended up needing more than expected but they were very helpful and extremely professional. They explained my problem and even showed me pictures to help me better visualize what was going on. I was able to make a decision on fixing my truck and they got it done very quickly. The truck runs amazing and I am very grateful for the excellent work they do.

I went here with questions about my car making a funny noise they advised me it was a catalytic converter and gave me an estimate I called around for more estimates and their estimate was over $100 less than anywhere else.I went there for another reason not associated with Muffler but they fixed it and the price was wonderful and they even guarantee their work.Love these people love this place everybody should go to Muffler City off of Sunbeam Road

Went to Muffler City for exhaust and decided to have them do a complete brake job and also replace all bearings etc in axles on all wheels.The exhaust sounds great however one of the welds is not quality and appears to have a hole. When I tried to have new wheels and tires put on a month later at discount tire we found 4 studs on each front wheel were cross threaded. I called Ron and he had to tell me that he has been doing this for thirty years blah blah. He did not own it and denied his staff would have done that. Even tried to blame it on bad staff at discount tire. At this point took it to another shop to fix the studs that were stripped and discovered that only one front wheel actually had new grease and new bearings the others did not. So I paid for something that was not done. On top of that they stripped the main rod that the spindle nut screws onto so had to replace that. Going to double check brake job myself to see if actually was done. I doubt it.I would not let this shop touch my vehicle again and would advise anyone else to do the same.

Stopped in to get a price and have some questions answered about an exhaust system for my truck. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted, but spoke to J.R. and described to him the sound that I thought I was looking for. He explained to me about the different options I had available, and how the baffling of the different mufflers affected the sound. Then after he gave me his opinion of what he thought I would like based on my description I gave him, I agreed to have him install it. Took him just under an hour before he lowered the lift and fired it up. The sound was way better than my expectations. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. I am extremely satisfied with my experience, from the price, to customer service, to the quality of the product and the short amount of time it took for the installation. Would highly recommend checking them out for any exhaust questions or issues.

I took in a sand rail vehicle, totally unique and custom built with a broken exhaust pipe. Ron and his men came up with a custom solution and mounted it in the small volume available for it, and created a good- sounding and good-looking muffler with dual pipes that is very much better than the system I came in with. They did much more than I expected and the car sounds very much better also. I fully recommend them for custom installations

GREAT experience with JR!! With serious rust issues, the little noise I had begun to hear in the exhaust could have cost me thousands in repairs before I could drive my 2003 Camry back to Michigan!! I wanted to do the minimum since its an old car and cost was a factor. I feel SO grateful to JR because this man is truly sincere, compassionate and knows his stuff! He went above and beyond in EVERY way to repair only what was absolutely necessary! After giving me a quote to replace the flex pipe, and apologizing for only carrying the BEST parts and nothing cheaper, while he was cutting the old flex pipe off, a big section of the rusted exhaust pipe gave way and simply fell to the ground! He brought me out and SHOWED me exactly what had happened and explained that he would fix it for FREE! He fashioned a new piece of pipe, re-attached the catalytic converter and even created a new hanger since the old one crumbled!! He explained the rest of the system to me AND what would likely occur next and not to worry because it would still be drivable; the peace of mind he gave me was priceless! I even tried to give him a tip and he refused! He made me feel like a member of his family and Ive told my own daughter and everyone I know in the area to bring their vehicles to JR. He was an angel who truly came to my rescue in a great time of need and uncertainty! Other shops may have tried to convince me to replace the entire exhaust, catalytic converter and 3 sensors (because they ARE all failing/have failed and WILL need replacement eventually!) which would have been insanely expensive! JR even told me HOW the NEXT issue that will arise can be fixed so the mechanics back in Michigan cant try to convince me otherwise! I cant say enough good things about JR and how much better I feel now so I can enjoy the rest of my visit with my daughter and grand children, knowing Ill be safe driving back to Michigan!!
