Had some work done last July, after putting 3k miles on it, the harness melted again from heat. The owner honored his warranty and fixed it and did not charge me for parts or labor. There was nothing wrong with their work prior other than it getting to hot. What speaks volumes to me is they ACTUALLY honored the warranty that so many claim to have. With that said, they have gained my future business.

This is the best place in town to go to for auto repairs! I have taken multiple cars to these guys and they always take such good care of me. As a single woman it isnt easy finding mechanics that wont take advantage...but these guys treat me like family. ❤

We have dealt with car repair places in NJ, TX and KS and have found AA Automotive in Jacksonville, FL to be the most honest and reliable car repair place we have ever dealt with. They recommend work based on what is really needed, not like dealers or other places who do so just to make money. On top of that, they are extremely reasonable! Although we don’t live in Jacksonville, our daughter and son-in- law do - my husband calls from TX and speaks with Joe in the shop who he really trusts for his honest assessment and help for their cars. If you value your vehicle, and your wallet NEVER use this place of business. I will try to keep this as short and simple as possible. I took my BMW that was having overheating issues to this shop to find out the source of the problem. It was due to a bad power steering pump that needing replacing. First, I was never told about a $150 dollar diagnostic fee that was due just to find out what was wrong with the vehicle. This was never mentioned until after the fact. Next they then quote me for an outrageous price to replace this pump, that we ended up agreeing to pay as they wouldnt even give me my vehicle back until the $150 diagnostic fee was payed. So being 150 in the hole already, we decided to allow them to replace the pump. Come to find out, they never put a new pump on, they pulled a power steering pump off of an old BMW from a junkyard and slapped that on. They then never fully secured the power steering pump, multiple bolts were able to be turned by hand with no problem. They also broke off a bolt inside the junkyard power steering pump while trying to mount it onto my vehicle. So I payed over $500 in total just to have a simple pump replaced; and never even recieved a new pump, nor quality work. This seriously looks like a High School kids first car repair attempt with how poor the work is. We will be looking into whatever legal action we can against this company.

Great people and very honest. As a shop owner myself, I had problems with my vehicle when I was traveling with my family. I made a phone call to them, and the told me over the phone everything that I would have told a customer of mine. It made me fell very at ease and comfortable with them. Although having vehicle trouble is not fun out of town, I could not have aske for a better repair experience.

After speaking to the gentleman in charge of all issues the dealership has given us, I was reassured that they could at least take a look and given a second option.. it took almost a full week ( excludes weekends for their closed) for them to even get their guy up take a look. Then they hadnt even called their other guy for a key fob to be programed and then another week goes buy and they tell me exactly what I told them over the phone before even paying a tow to have the car moved, and they suggest I take it to the dealership. Although, 3 weeks ago you said b you could do all the work on the work order from the dealership, but now you cant, but knowing a little about cars. I know that Im able to furnish products and labor, MYSELF. But all your guys couldnt. Well after over a month and still not having a single thing done to it, to progressively make anything in better conditions than before..I would ask this company how many ppls cars are before yours before I would just go and drop the car off to them. Very kind, and honest, ppl. Just a big run around.

I can’t find the words to thank these people. Our car broke down on our way back from Florida to MA and we found this location. We had to stay around for one day, they drove us around until they made sure we found a safe place to stay. Took a used Toyota Matrix here for a second opinion before buying it. Staff was so friendly and informative. I took my 2004 F350 6.0 diesel truck to AA Automotive for a coolant loss problem, It turned out to be a head gasket problem, so they basically “ BULLETPROOFED” the engine with all the correct “BULLETPROOFING” parts. I picked it up yesterday, so far it runs like new!😁 I’ve looked the engine over and its a very clean and professional looking job. I would recommend AA Automotive to to anyone that needs 6.0 diesel work! I think they would be a very good shop for any automotive repair work!

Very professional guys! I came in with a small repair that they could have charged $60 dollars for, they repaired it in 15 minutes and told me to have a good day. Very fair, kind folks here. Though I hope I never have to come back, if I ever need work done on my car, Ill be going here.

After a major part failure I brought to them who I had found out had been working on the car since it was new. Ive brought my car there for everything since. During a short stay in Jacksonville before relocating to New Jersey, I needed a lot of work on critical issues on my older car. Joe had it thoroughly diagnosed, provided me a handwritten estimate in order of safety and priority, had all the work taken care of and went above and beyond with a couple of things that werent on our list but needed attention as they were found. He didnt charge me for those things, since the repairs were a bit taxing on my budget already. He didnt have to do that. He called when he said, returned my calls and overall provided honest, excellent service.I want to mention also that a non-warranty issue occurred just after driving up to New Jersey and Joe compensated me for the labor in NJ to resolve it, which is extraordinary in my experience with auto shops to date.I recommend Joe and his crew to anyone within feasible distance who wants competent, trustworthy, reliable Auto Services in Jacksonville - and those who might find themselves in a pickle on a temporary visit, as I was, taking chances with unknown people. You just cant beat these guys...Ive owned every luxury car ever made (Im 72 years old)...my 2006 Volvo XC90 over the past 1.5 years has had headlight go in and out..just moved here from Denver where I had two reputable repairs shops try to fix it...to no success. Today, Joe and his team found the underlying issue in a few minutes, ordered the parts, and I was on my way in less than 90 minutes....wires had burned out, and an ex-Navy electrician discovered the problem and explained it to me. My Daughter in Law broke down in Jacksonville we are from Central Florida, about 2 hours for their business, and we had her car towed to AA Automotive . From the start and throughout the entire repair they did a great job in explaining what needs repair, how much it is going to cost and when they expect the job to be finished . They have been doing business since 1954, and it makes complete sense why they are still doing business today. We were at their place when they opened the doors on a Monday morning and our only regret is that they dont have another store closer to us ! Seriously, they are that good. They had to replace a starter, and gave it a one year warranty, they told us to call them and they would take care of it if something should happen. Everyone we spoke with was first class, I would recommend them to Everyone !

Joe, you did repair work on my rear axle. You replaced axle seals . One that was not leaking fluid is now leaking after being replaced. Parking brake never adjusted properly.Truck sat for full day before anyone touched it.Judging by reviews, you only put your best effort in when you have the time or discretion to do so.And no, i wont be bringing my truck back to do what you were paid to do.Sorry folks, it did not work out for me.

Sam/Joe were great to deal with and the turn around time was great. They were able to have a timing belt job finished by end of business day. What surprised me was my power steering started working after they were done. That was awesome and I dont know what they did. Taking off one star because today makes it 1000+ miles since the work was done and I noticed while inspecting the engine the new water pump is still using the rear housing from the old pump. I hope the gasket/RTV holds up but so far so good. Great people!

A few years back I made a regrettable purchase of a pontiac on Craigs list and these guys made sure it ran and was safe in a timely, affordable and professional manner. They tend to explain exactly whats going on even though I dont understand the complexity most of the time, I appreciate the insight greatly. This is just another reason I trust these guys with my new vehicle. This time around they had to fix the brakes and the catalytic converter and they were 100% honest and hassle free about the whole repair. This is very important to me since a disturbing amount of mechanics try to take advantage of womens naivety. Now I have no check engine lights and no worries. After relocating to the Jacksonville area I went in search of a new mechanic/garage and was unable to find one that would be willing to help me acquire and use the amsoil and filters that I prefer to use in my automobiles... That is until today! I placed a call and spoke with Joe, explained what I was looking for and although they used amsoil products they currently did not stock the variety I wanted. After further conversation he agreed to order the items for me to have on hand for future use. What a blessing! Joe and the team at AAA are the best mechanics I have ever brought my car to. They are honest, and know what they are doing. Everything they have done on my and my wifes car has been first rate, and they are very reasonably priced. I used to get multiple estimates, now I just call Joe and go from there. If its a larger job, Ill still call another place - but thats more for me to get a warm fuzzy, because nobody can beat their prices, and I honestly wont trust anyone else with my cars now.
