Zoe was so sweet while checking me out. We had small conversations about different crafting projects...of course there was no one waiting in line behind me. She was a bright light in my day!

I just started sewing & like every beginner, you go crazy with ideas. I stopped by Joann’s (which is the only sewing & craft store I know of. If you know of any, please let me know) to browse fabrics. There were a lot of fabric materials & patterns to choose from which was awesome, however, I couldn’t help but to notice the store was a bit unorganized, unkempt, & there were many items out of stock the further you traveled back into the store. The workers didn’t seem to do much but stand behind counters & stare at everyone. Other than that, I enjoyed my trip.

Joann always has plenty of quality fabric choices at reasonable prices. The staff is very helpful and will graciously assist with project ideas.

Awesome place with tons of crafts, decorations and fabric. The decorations were priced outrageously. A plain, 2 ft tree cost $60!! They normally have coupons in their paper and on their application though.

They could not get my Joann gift card to work. The manager never came out to see if they could help. Left my purchase there, went home, and ordered online where I was able to use the gift card.

I quilt and Joann has a good supply of sewing stuff. The lady who cuts the fabric is super nice. Devin at the cash register is terrible. I’ve dealt with him on two different trips and he’s short, rude, not helpful, says “we don’t have that” to anyone who asks if they have something. Doesn’t check to see. Just “no we don’t have it”. They seem short staffed as I have to chase workers down for help. I got one worker to unlock the rotary cutters, realized I got the wrong one and had to chase another worker down to get the correct one. If you don’t have questions and know where everything is then you’ll be fine. If you need assistance then I’d recommend going somewhere else. And I DEFINITELY don’t recommend ordering from them online.

Need more arts and crafts. Markers, color by number, educational material, etc

Talk about FABRIC HEAVEN!! Theres no shortage of sewing supplies here. The employees are friendly and helpful as well; they cut my fabric and helped me find what I was looking for in the store. I spent WAY too much... Ill definitely be back!

Repeat shopper here. This was my second visit in the same week only to return again. Each visit was for different items I didnt need on the first 2 visits.

Store was clean and items were neatly arranged. The selection of items couldve been larger, but with the pandemic going on, its understandable. There was only 1 cashier, but she basically rang up 2 people at a time, so the wait in line was no where near as long as it couldve been.

Alsome customer service ome of the gee stores ill go to Jackson before madison just because they have such great employees wish I had gotten her name so I could put her in spot light but the cashier there is a 10. From her up beat addtuide to her attentive cant help but leave with smile regardless whatvyou went in with on your face has great deals and unique products that the other craft stores dont have.

I love Joanns. My husband and I visit Joanns once a week and we drive over an hour to do so. I love using the coupons that I get through the mail.

Bought door wreath hanger at Jackson store. Love it, great quality. However, the sales clerk was extremely rude. As I was paying, she was talking to clerk next to her, complaining about working, hours, her other part time job. She said nothing to me. I thanked her, she said nothing. In fact, she gave me a disgusting look. Why does Joann’s employ such rude people, when I am sure there are nice people desperate for a job.

Big store of fabric, sewing items and crafts

The store employees are rude and unconcerned. Just hearing them discuss other customers after leaving the store or when they hangup the phone makes me mad. The coupon are a somewhat of a joke.

Good selection of fabrics, but the cost is anything but cheap. I only go there for specialty prints, not basics/solids. Its not worth it for them.Make sure you check online for coupons before you go. Those can really help out at check out and you dont have to have them printed ahead of time. Just do a quick Google search before you get up to the register.

Good customer service. Big store. Not alot of cotton fabric in store at the moment. I do understand COVID-19 has taken a lot of people into boredom.

The experience was pleasant. The store was cleaned and organized. The lady cutting the fabric asked questions to make sure each customer was sure of her measurements. The cashier was gracious.

They have everything! If you want to make something, you can get inspired in here. They even have decorations for purchase in case you get overwhelmed with the possibilities. Its fun just to surf the aisles.

This store is heavily into fabrics more than other stores Ive been to. Im driving through MS and came here for needlepoint kit, hook rug kit, and rug yarn. None of these were available at this store like I have seen in other places. They were also out of several needlepoint threads and the area was in need of cleaning. The rest of the store was clean, nice, well-lit, and the cashier was efficient and friendly.

I love Joanns. The sales, the items in store and the coupons make it my first craft store shop stop. For the most part the staff is pretty nice, although my not too fond of one of the managers I do like the overall atmosphere of this store.

Staff is always friendly. Never crowded. I visit this store to purchase supplies for my Silhouette. Also, I didnt know before I arrived but the Christmas products and stocking stuffers were 75% off before Christmas! The location is always also a plus: right off I55/County Line, next to Target.

Billie, an employee at your I-55 North Jackson MS location, needs some serious training. I will lead with that complaint because the other complaint hinges off her inability to treat ALL customers when stand in line to pay money to receive goods that keep her employed and (hopefully) insured although that dental could use some work. The second complaint is why do customers have to enter our email and create a login credential to use an online coupon? Why is this process so invasive? The reason I inquire is because of employees like Billie, who seem to have a problem waiting for cellphones to load data to join the Joannes email club to receive their promised/advertised discount. Billie seemed very annoyed w/ the process and told me, the customer, that coupons should go in my wallet...like money. Billie laughed w/ another white female customer behind me that looked like she crept in from a retired episode of Dynasty at the fact I was taking so long to download an app to save money off my transaction. Apparently saving the 50% off my highest item was comical because Dynasty reject behind me scoffed, “THATS IT?!” after Billie announced to the other customer, a stranger, that was what we were waiting to load. Ironically Dynasty reject pulls out her phone and uses a coupon from the same app. There are soooooooooooo many things wrong w/ what happened to me today and I will go as far as to say from the nature of the experience it was rooted in underlying covert racism. I have posted on all my social media platforms asking my friends/family/followers NOT TO SHOP @ Joannes fabrics on I 55 N in Jackson MS. If this is the type of employee representation that this company stands for...if behavior like this can go UNCHECKED...if employees are not trained to have enough common sense to not disclose information about one customers transaction to a stranger, no matter if they ask or not which is a legal violation of privacy...if employees are not trained to guide customers through the process of downloading the Joannes application and creating a login to streamline and make the Joannes shopping experience more pleasant...if this behavior is tolerated, then I will make it a mission to continue to post about this until it gets the immediate attention it deserves. Thank you....Google, we should be able to leave no stars. Leaving one was much too generous after what I experienced in this store today.

Was pleased nice selection and I received 50% off with the app.. I am pleased.

I find everything I am looking for in JoAnn. The selection of fabrics is the widest in the metro area. Yarn selection is much better, as are sewing notions and floral supplies. The shopping experience is not overwhelming as in other big box craft stores.

Yuck. Staff either cranky or too busy on their phone to actually make you feel welcome. Wont go back. Everything is over priced and cheaply made. We got some things from the clearance section....lack luster and not worth it.

It is a nice place but they need more fabric and craft, less decor. I went in for embroidery supplies and there was very little to select from.

I went in there to buy thread for my Baby Loc sewing machine and bought 2 pre cut dresses as well. They have a variety of material and many other things pertaining to sewing.. i love going in there.

I have tried to shop at the store for my wedding multiple times and I’m never able to find in a sales associate who can assist me the store simply doesn’t staff enough people for each shift. If you know exactly what you’re looking for and exactly where it is in the store before you come in you shouldn’t have a problem at this location but if you have any questions I suggest you go to any other craft store

Discount sales are amazing! I find a lot of my hard to find special occasion items here.

They have a ton of paint for cheap which is great, but the service/support makes me not want to come back. The first day i came a lady got irritated when i asked about paint, and the second day the werent able to help me due to not knowing information about the paints they carried. If you come here be prepared to help yourself.

I love to wonder around looking at craft and sewing notions. Everything is reasonably priced.

Felt very uncomfortable because I was being watched by the staff. Then the staff didnt have the decency to ask if I needed any help. This was my 2nd visit and Ive felt uncomfortable both times. Ill never return to Jo-Ann Fabrics again! I work too hard for my money to feel like Im being watched because of the color of my skin...the white customers were being helped and left alone but I was being hovered around by at least 2 staff members. And the sales are so so you need coupons to really get a good deal on the fabrics.

Great app, nice savings, nice staff. You do not get left hanging around and if you miss a potential coupon, the woman at the register saved me a bunch, so extra mile guys. I was suprised! I normally pretty harsh on my reviews, but they asked me who it was for(fabric), and then recommended additional items(not expensive) to get. Nownmy daughter is afraid to cut fabric bc she says it is too pretty, plusnshe loves making fashion from unconventinal things around house. Maybe some up to date patterns or something? They looked a little dated, but it had charm. I recommend at least one visit and download app first, plus they have Holiday stuff for cheap.

I like Joann for the sales they have sales they have on jewelry beads and other pieces to help with making jewelry. I am sad that they didnt have much of a selection. I pray they stock up soon.
