I was skeptical of using these guys due to the reviews, we just got into town last night and the starter on our E350 diesel van was going out.They replaced it with a NAPA starter and it wasn’t working, they sent it back and got a Carquest starter - the cost was $155 less than the original quote.I highly recommend using them.Ted

These kind humans went above and beyond for my wife and I when we came in with a serious problem with ine of my trucks main lines from the brake master cylinder. As busy as they were, at what I assume is the beginning of the peak season for them. They pit the truck up on the lift and gave it to us straight. After all wS said and done they gave us a bottle of dot 3 brake fluid and sent us on our way. P.S. to yall, I JB welded it and we are now in Huntington Beach, sitting at about 2200 miles now & running 💪strong! Good looking out guys!!!

Levi and his staff are incredible! I have an older (2004) Dodge pick up that needed some love. (Steering rack, power steering pump, tune up, and more). Levi was open and up front about what the truck needed, got me a fair estimate (even worked within my budget to be able to get the most important repairs done first), and got it done quickly. He is a very friendly and honest person, and I trust them to do all future work on my vehicles. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle in to Auto Tech if you have any mechanical needs.

These guys were amazing! We had scary levels of brake vibration coming over the pass from Idaho. Didn’t feel comfortable heading back without brake service. They got us in right away and took a look. We didn’t have any other transportation, so Jimmy from their office loaned us his car for the day! Went way above and beyond and fixed our brakes and rotors right away. Did great work.

I was on vacation when my alternator died. The tow truck service towed it here and I was a bit worried because of the reviews. The estimate included replacing the alternator and battery. I asked just for the alternator because I planed on doing that myself. They did exactly what I asked and the price was reasonable. Its been a few weeks and no issues.

Great place! Awesome staff, they were all very helpful. Our campervan broke down and we got towed to this place, they did their best to fit us in their busy schedule and even let us sleep in front of the place as we had to stay for a few days. They spend a lot of time trying to find out what was wrong with our 1986 ford van and improved it a lot. Thanks guys.

The Auto Tech employees are amazing. They know what they are doing. Very professional. Affordable. I really like the manager here. I really wish they have the equipment to do alignments on vehicles. I believe this is the best place to stop and get your vehicle checked. I came here w/ 2013 traverse to get my pwr steering pump fixed. They use genuine parts. I strongly recommend AUTO TECH.

I started to using Auto Tech because my previous shop mechanic, like most businesses in Jackson, struggles to find labor and was no longer able to get to my trucks right away. I was rolling through on a road trip when my van stopped firing on one of its cylinders. Levi and the crew got me in the next morning and within hours had me on my way. Mind you, my van is old and really rare, and parts are darn near impossible to find, so they fixed me up with creativity and ingenuity instead. 4000 miles later its still running as good as new. And they charged me a very reasonable amount. Life savers.

These guys are pretty good! Brought my car in when it started overheating and they were quick and polite. When I went to pick up the car it wouldnt start but when I told them they worked as fast as they could and got it running free of charge. Its now running great and I would use this garage again.

Dont waste your money! I took my brothers truck in for a basic $60 check up. They said the timing belt and water pump were original and would need to be changed soon. The timing belt and water pump were changed at 180k, so they were wrong. I asked them to adjust the clutch, which they didnt...no change to the clutch what so ever. I was charged $130 for them to do nothing. Go to a garage that employs trained mechanics, not these flunkies.

Charged me $100 for a zip tie. Instead of actually diagnosing my electrical issue and/or listening to the symptoms I was having they just rigged my wiring so it should hold for awhileI knew that the problem was not going to be fixed and they wanted astronomical prices for a few other little things I asked about.I bent over and paid the $100 for a zip tie and got out of there as fast as I could.

There is no way that this garage is currently run by the same person that was running it when the negative reviews were given. My husband and I were driving from Pennsylvania to Wyoming when our check engine light came on. We arrived in Jackson on a Sunday and were at the garage first thing on Monday morning. Auto Tech assessed our situation immediately and by mid-morning had told us we needed a new solenoid. No one in the area had the part but Auto Tech ordered the part overnight and had the car to us good as new by Wednesday morning. They even got it done first thing in the morning because they knew we had rented a car and didnt want us to have to pay for an extra day of our car rental. The gentlemen at Auto Tech were prompt, professional, and went out of their way to help us in a pretty desperate situation. They even charged us less than my garage at home said they would have charged for the same repair. I can absolutely recommend Auto Tech to anyone in Jackson Hole needing car repair services.

So the tow driver was super nice and professional(Jack 5 Stars). We were in and out around an hour, after we got to the shop. But the part they fixed which was the muffler fell off before we left, so they re-attached it and was on my way. Not even a day later the whole thing fell off again, we payed $125 for the service and this was not good work at ALL for the small amount of work done on the car.

The folks at AutoTech were friendly and absolutely great (They even had a TV with kids movies to make the wait bearable for our kiddos 6&4)! They saved us in a big way on Labor Day by being open and getting our replacement alternator within 15 minutes of us arriving. The labor was a bit pricey, but it was a holiday and we had to get home (so no complaints). Thanks to all of you who helped us make it back to Ft. Collins!

After having to call AAA for help, I decided to try AutoTech at the tow truck drivers suggestion the next week. I took my car in for a brake job and oil change. WOW! They got me in and out the same day, everyone was so nice. They even offered to grab me lunch when they went out to get it for themselves. So nice. Couldnt be happier with the job they did, and the cost was right in line (Maybe a few $$ lower) than another shops quote I had gotten. Will for sure return. You guys have a new customer! On a recent Saturday, we were about to cross a high pass out of Jackson Hole when our RV brakes failed!!! It was late Saturday morning, and we needed to get home to Michigan by Monday evening. Most repair shops closed at noon. That was Autotechs plan, too, but they stayed until nearly 3p.m. to get us on the highway. Talk about above and beyond! We love these guys. BTW, the brakes held...and are still holding.

Rude and profane when dealing with the manager, Paul, and his staff. Very steep prices for what shouldve been a simple, quick distributor/spark plug cleansing. Charged over three hours of labor for what shouldve been a one hour job. Unnecessarily filled up antifreeze and charged $20 per gallon for it - a classic nickel-and-dime scam (and only gave me a half gallon). Didnt apply AAA discount. When confronted about the exorbitant price, used typical scare tactics (Oh, it couldve been worse!) and overly-technical wording. Overall, my experience with this company has been incredibly negative, from the initial phone call for a tow truck to the final pick-up and payment. About the only positive thing I can say is that they fixed my car. Avoid at all costs.

According to Kirby the agreed to install my alternator and belt for $100 after paying a $2400 tow bill. Next thing I know they installed 4 new batteries and charged me 7.5 hours of labor without even calling me or getting authorization... so what I thought was $100 turned out to be $1600! Seriously such a scamOf a place!

This morning we were coming into Jackson on our way home (the Seattle area). Just before we got to Jackson our car started to act up. We were pretty sure it was a stuck fuel injector as we had to replace one of these 4 months ago and the car was acting the same way. We got into Jackson and started calling around to see who could get us in right away. Most shops said they could get us in anywhere from tomorrow to next week, but AutoTech was able to get us in right away. From the time we pulled in to the time we pulled back out completely fixed was about 3 hours and the staff was very nice to us the whole time. They were reasonably priced and got the job done in half the time they said it would take. Thank you so much AutoTech for getting us back on the road quickly.

I am honestly very sceptical of mechanics, but the guys at Autotech were noticeably honest and fair. Car wouldnt start before a drive to SLC, they sent out a truck, jumped me, and then fixed my belt tension in the shop. All in about an hour or so. Fair price, kind folks, and a quick turnaround made a potentially terrible day into a minor delay.

Was quoted one price and charged $100 more for a very easy trailer hitch. Wont be back

EXTREMEMLY RUDE. I got a flat and the tow truck driver said he would change my tire to a spare for free. I needed a new tire so I contacted them. I came Im for my new tire and turns out my rim was cracked. They kept changing prices, taking longer and longerI was visiting from CO so I needed to get back on the road ASAP. When I went in to get my keys, the manager was very rude, spammed his hand on the counter and yelled enough at my friend who simply said there shouldnt be a charge, you guys didnt do anything. (Shes 17.) The mananger continued to make rude and smart-ass comments such as, no wonder her daddy is so pissed at her.) The only way they would let me take my keys is if we paid for them changing my tire to the spare. Avoid this horrible place at all costs. Extremely rude & bitchy manager. (I think his name was Paul)

Broke down middle of the night and they got me in right away and saved me 200 bucks a night on hotel room very nice and quick and did ver good work on my car if your going threw there make sure you get ahold of them if you break down open 24/7

I just had an extremely positive experience with the new owner of this shop, Levi.

Was leery at first, having read the other reviews. After getting locals only attitude from other shops in Jackson, thought to give Auto Tech a try. Levi (new owner) got me in right away, Bill (front desk) helped talk me through the repair possibilities for a blinking Check Engine Light (CEL) and lack of acceleration on 05 Jeep Wrangler. Isaias, an AES mechanic, quickly diagnosed a problem with coil system on electronic ignition, along with spark plugs being toasted by the coil. Bill called around and got a good replacement set of parts, and the guys got the parts installed and tested, all in under a couple hours. Yeah, things are a bit pricey in Jackson, but no more so than anywhere else. Ill come back to these guys, as they are trying real hard (and succeeding) to put a bad-shop rep behind them and giving us non-mechanic type folks an honest and fair deal on car repairs. Thanks guys, and Ill be seeing you again, I have no doubt.

We came there on Saturday 1st of avril because we had problems with our van (iddling problems). Our first impression wasnt good and we tried our best to get another garage to do the job but every other garage was full till the next friday. We came on monday morning but as everything was working great on the van again we were not sure it was the right time to have it checked. How to find whats wrong when everything is working? We asked the owner (who we think is the owner) about it but he seemed more interested in telling us to fill the paper to do the checking than answering our questions. He finally said no well get interesting results on which we should be able to say whats going on. After having spent some time to check the van he explained us that they couldnt find anything as everything was working and proposed us to stay to do some checking later the day when the problem would come back. But as we explained him before, and how it was written on a paper explaining important things about the van problems, we did had the same problem 1000 miles ago so the problem was probably not going to come back quickly (we have driven 1000 miles since without any issues). I did ask him why he said to us to do the check even if everything was working to say after it sorry we cant find anything everything is working! But he didnt answer to my question he only said: my goal is to make my customers happy and we are the cheaper auto repair in town. We paid 100 dollars for NOTHING. Is that cheap? How could we be happy? Yes the price was the one of the quotation he gave us before, but we were of course expecting to have some results! Why did he tell us to do this checking? To get money, only. Not to make us happy. We wouldnt go back there and we shouldnt have paid for nothing!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! The worst mechanics and towing service in Jackson. a score of 1 is too high for this place! They double charged me for a jump/tow and then when they got it to the shop I told them I just needed the diesel thawed and I needed to get back to Boise. They decided to spend an extra hour doing diagnostic test on other issues like a fan making a noise and an intake injector. They kept me there for 5 hours so I just paid the overpriced bill and left for home. I called the next day to ask them to explain the bill and the owner started insulting me and calling me Fing names until I had to just hang up. Very bad customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
