Very professional. Brandon Tripp went above and beyond when working with our insurance company to ensure we got the best parts. Then even after the job was finished he helped to fix an alignment issue with our hood, no questions asked. Tripps cares about their customers and it really shows! I would recommend them to all my family and friends.

Held my truck hostage to rack up storage fees.Tried telling my insurance company my truck had so many things wrong with it to total it! I had to buy it back and ended up fixing it myself for $2500.I believe they wanted my truck and piece out the parts. My truck runs beautiful. Only took it in there for a fender bender! Oh! And they kept my hitch.Place is a joke!

Hit a deer in my 2010 Honda Odyssey. Older car but still ran great, had Tripps do the repair. Tripps had done repair work for us in the past and we were happy with their work. Tripps hires artists not just technicians! My car looked like new. Paint match was exact. Im planning to return to get the remainder of the car done.If you are looking for auto body work, this is the place to go, you will be glad you did!!

Took my car in to have it ceramic coated since it had gotten pollen stuck in the paint. Was told it would include paint correction/removing all pollen stuck in the paint and coating the car. Exactly what I was looking for.I got the call and went to pick my car up after 3 days [was told itd be two days and didnt recieve any notice that itd be an extra day like I was told I would if they needed more time. No big deal].My first issue began when the kid they had bring my car around front parked my car and hopped out, I asked him how it was going which I recieved a mumbled Good as he power walked past me...leaving my door open in the rain. Okay? Is my car done? Am I good to go? Who knows. So after about 5 minutes or so of just kind of mingling around in my car making sure I have everything before I drive away, the guy who quoted the job finally comes out to talk to me.He asks me if I recieved the pictures he tried to send me....which I did not. He then informed me that at the rear drivers side quarter panel there was brake dust that had baked into the paint and caused pitting with a bit of rust so I would see white bubbles in that area of the car. Okay, I guess theres not much I can do about that.He gives me a booklet on how to care for it/informs me it needs 10 days to finish the cure process and not to wash the car or wipe anything off.So here we are at the end of day 11. I take my car up to spray it off since the ceramic coating is supposed to make washing a breeze. I spray the car off and hand dry like the booklet says and thats when I notice theres tons of pollen still baked into my car...none of the dirt is rinsing away like was claimed. Okay...maybe I just have to lightly hand wash it the first time...so I wash the car again...this time lightly washing it with a microfiber glove....the dirt finally comes off....my entire hood, peppered with pollen....my stripes....peppered with pollen and white bubbles everywhere. The spot they claimed was burnt in brake dust is POLLEN stuck in the car...at this point Im wondering what the hell I spent almost 1400 dollars on. I couldve gotten better results doing it myself.In fact, Ive seen better jobs done by amateurs. Highly disappointed and can just about guarantee this place will never touch another one of my vehicles.

I was impressed by this shop. They did a great job on my truck.and did it quickly. They were even willing to assist in making my truck drivable until I was ready for the repair and the repair was done even before commitment on my part. In addition they did not want to take it until they were ready to work on it (I appreciated this and it was contrary to some negative experiences with other shops that i have had in the past)As with any place of business a couple of issues regarding communication could have been better, but was able to work through without much difficulty.Where they lost points for me was when I later brought my car in for repair. The repair was quick, however the replaced headlight lense was old and not near as nice as the original. Though they said they were willing to put in a brand new one if the insurance would approve it, the insurance said the shop got the lense from an unapproved vendor and they would not authorize it until they tried a part from an approved vendor. After multiple calls to the shop and the insurance this was never resolved.Since it was a little out of my way to go to this shop in the first place this last experience will keep me from going back .

My car ended up being totalled. Tripps was amazing all the way through the process.

I dropped my car of Sunday November 15th after hours. Got a text on Tuesday the 17th advising there were more damages. I called and was advised my car door and molding needed to be replaced. A teenager sideswiped me, took some paint off and was some minor damage. I called my insurance and they approved the additional work less than 24 hours after. Tripps paid for 10 days for a rental, its no been 15 days and my car is supposed to be done THIS Wednesday. With the shut down, it would be fine, however, having 3 kids that and needing to go grocery shopping every other day. Ridiculous that it has taken this long to get these repairs done, it was so minor. I hope the workmanship is work it.

By far the best place to go in Jackson for your auto body repairs. They did a thorough job of repairing the entire passenger side of my vehicle. And by thorough I mean these guys went above and beyond. My vehicle was returned to me better than I had dropped it off. And you cant beat having up to $500 of your deductible covered. The staff was amazing. Great communication throughout the process and the ladies up front answered all my questions whenever I needed to call. Josh, aside from being an expert repairman also has some pretty awesome ink and referred me to his tattoo artist. Phil the owner also came out at one point. You can tell he is not just the owner but engaged in everything going on. Overall it was an excellent experience and I highly recommend Tripps to anyone in Jackson and surrounding.

For several Years Brandon Tripp ran the Shop and I had the most amazing experiences I had ever had from the shop. Mr. Tripp Sr is a fantastic person and gives back to his Community a great deal and does it anonymously. Unfortunately my last experience caused me to completely lose a beautiful truck because of inexperienced Shop work. Next time I need them I will drive to Lansing. I just got Ceramic Pro done on my brand new Vette. Its awesome!! Shine is incredible and I live on a dirt private lake drive. Dust from road has been slowly killing my soul for years with my nice rides. Now it just blows right off and dead bugs splattered on the front, they practically fall off. Its incredible. Im going to do this too all my cars forever. Brandon was great to work with, couldnt be happier.

I brought my Jeep in after getting rear ended and then the wind blew a tree into my side mirror. They fixed everything and even fixed a few scratches on the body. Great work and customer service!

Ill preface this by saying that their customer service is decent. Thats the only thing that holds this back from one star.To put it shortly, theyre incompetent, overpriced, and quite likely caused my vehicle to be totaled unnecessarily.First of all, it took them over 2 months to mail a check to my insurance after the vehicle was declared totaled.Initially, they said that the total damage wouldnt exceed about $2500. Two weeks later, when they finally tore it apart to look closer, they determined the damage exceeded $7000- enough to total the vehicle. The vehicle needed a new fender, headlight, and bumper cover, as well as a couple of sheet metal pieces. Nothing that should cost almost triple the initial estimate, even factoring in labor. If I had known better at the time, I would have gotten a second quote from elsewhere.My biggest issue is that they were negligent in returning the initial funds from my insurance company. Because of that I missed out quite a few vehicles while I was waiting for my insurance claim. That alone was ridiculous enough for me to never go there again.Ive attached a photo showing the vehicle after they tore it apart. Only the drivers side fender, headlight housing, and the front bumper cover were damaged. There was no damage to the engine, electronics, or frame.

I cannot say enough about Tripps Auto. My car was in the middle of a four car pile-up they not only did a great job but they finished it over a week early I strongly recommend Tripps Auto

They had my car over 6 weeks after an uninsured driver ran a stop sign and hit my car. When I got the 1st call the car was repaired, my husband and I went together to pick it up. We noticed the body lines did not match up and they put a mismatched wheel rim on the car. So we had to wait longer for it to be corrected. After that was corrected and I picked the car up, I noticed my horn did not work. Theres been a check engine light on the car since I got it back and that was not lit up prior to the accident. The car now pulls to the left and the front end shakes when braking. My car with 40k+ miles drives worse than my husbands truck with over 100k miles.

I couldn’t believe the service and how fast they fixed my car. We got into a fender bender and needed a new light assembly and quarter panel and within only a few days the car was as good as new. My baby car! Thank you Tripps for being so curteous, nice, and efficient! Thanks for the pop too :)

Never again would I take my vehicle to Tripps. After I hit a deer I took my vehicle into Tripps hoping for great service. Brandon Tripp seemed genuine and made me feel like my vehicle would be taken care of. Well that was by far the case. They had my vehicle for a week before I called to inquire when it would be done, the receptionist said actually it will be done today. I was so happy to get it back. I went to pick it up and I noticed my bumper was not even attached all the way and my Ford emblem was missing. I spoke to a gentleman (which later Brandon told me was his little brother) he said hmm I guess your emblem will be here tomorrow just drop it off for a few days we will check it out. I could not believe how he acted like it was no big deal. So I started my vehicle up my air conditioner didnt work (I had no issues with my air before I brought it in) and my cooling fan sounded like it was in over drive and it would not turn off (this was not an issue before I brought it in to Tripps). When I brought it back I asked for Brandon he was apologetic about his brother and got me a rental. They kept it again for over a week and did nothing to it blamed the issues on my vehicle being a 2010 and having over 100,000 miles and told me the part I needed would be $300 and they couldnt do anything nor did they fix my bumper said well it sags so we cant fix it (my vehicle was well taken care of and I have before and after pictures it never sagged). So I was livid and I took it into my usual mechanic to see what was going on. He could not believe what he found. He found a bolt that did not belong from my drivers side light that was drilled right into my wiring harness. He said it clearly was from the mechanic whoever put this light in. My mechanic backed out the bolt and put the correct one in and fixed my wiring harness and both my air conditioner worked again and my cooling worked again. My mechanic wrote up stating it was a mechanic issue yet Tripps denies it stating without pictures they wont take responsibility. I could not believe how fast Brandon Tripp went from genuine to rude and refused to apologise and reimburse me for what their mechanics did, I could not believe how they treated me as a customer. My vehicle came back in worse shape then it did when I took it in. Trips Auto shop is the worst place to take a vehicle. Its already stressful when your vehicle gets wrecked so if you dont want to have more added sress find another company to use.

I took my car as i needed a small repair to the front bumper. The guy that provided the quote (Brandon Tripp - I later learned) told me that they could do the work for $800 to $900 or if I wanted they could just pop out the bumper and cover the scratches - the car would not be perfect but good enough - and that this option was FREE. I thought he was joking...he went on to explain that his dad extended this courtesy to clients and he was just following suit. I dropped off my car yesterday morning before 8 AM and I picked it up at noon, nicely fixed up and free of charge. i recently moved to Jackson from the metro Detroit area and Im blown away by the level of customer service i have encountered across town. Tripps Auto Shop is a great example of that. They have earned my business and ill be sharing this story every time i have an opportunity.

I had a great experience with Tripps! Not only did they do a beautiful job repairing my car and made everything very easy for me, their customer service is amazing! I rented a car from Hertz while Tripps was repairing my car. When Hertz then made false charges on my credit card and refused to remove them, Tropps covered it for me! I would definitely use them again!

Did great repair on our 2014 Buick last summer.

My son is in the military. While on base someone hit the rear fender of his car, little bit of damage, not terrible but he wanted it fixed and decided to have Trips do it while he was home on holiday block leave for Christmas because my sister had some work done with them. They were informed he only had about 3 weeks while he was home and needed it to get back to to his duty station in Kansas. They had the car the entire time he was home (which wasnt a big deal his insurance covered a rental) he got the vehicle back just in time to return to base to report for duty. On his trip back he noticed the color of his fender was very different than the rest of the car. We called and let them know as well as sent pictures. They also scratched up the top of his trunk in the process.They agreed to fix it when he returns for leaving in June. We have since found out he cant come home this summer as his unit will be busy during this time. Trips refuses to compensate him in any way for this now. Great way to treat our military!

So i had 2 trucks there and both came back worse than wheni took them. The first one i caught them driving around when they said it wasnt done and now doesnt start at all. Today the truck i picked up they charged insurance some things they didnt do and obviously used it to tow something since a tow barthat isnt ours was attached. And the work they did was FRONT END! NEVER AGAIN!

Had family take a vehicle here and they did not put the vehicle on a frame machine and did not report true and accurately to the insurance. found out that the upper unibody frame was bent and now the insurance will not repair a totaled vehicle because of the inaccurate report originally from Tripps and they wont pay for the totalled vehicle either so they are stuck with a totalled vehicle that is not safe to drive not cool at all !

I recently had my car here to be fixed. The staff was friendly, and everyone kept me posted on the progress of the car. It was quick and painless on my end. They took care of everything.

Do NOT take your vehicle to Tripps. I took my truck there last July for some body work, and was told during the estimate that it would take 5 days to repair (they even wrote that on the estimate). It ended up taking them 35 days to fix, which ran into 5 days of a rental car that my insurance wouldnt pick up. Brandon Tripp said that it would be no problem, and they would take care of everything. Well, Enterprise called me and said I owed them like $350.00, and I had to fight tooth and nail to get Tripps to cover it. When I went to pick my truck up, I found that basically everything the touched, they messed up. They screwed up the pinstriping, the inside door handle, the rocker panel, and the paint from one color to another wasnt even in a straight line. They also put a used mirror on, and charged my insurance company for a new one. Also, when picking it up, I noticed that there was a missing piece of body side moulding. They said they would order one (why it wasnt on order in the first place is beyond me), and call me when it came in. Long story short, I just picked my truck up, 15 months later. One of the things that bothered me the most through this ordeal was the fact that Brandon would never return my phone calls, and one of the reasons this took so long was the fact that I had to catch him in the office at the time of my phone calls to get to speak to him. Lastly, they didnt even fix the parts of the truck that they said they would. I will never, ever use them again for body work or anything else.

About 3 years ago my son was hit by a guy who ran a stop sign and t bone the car and causing the drivers door to get stuck. we had plpd only and the insurance company gave us $500 towards the damage and so we went to tripps. everyone was nice and got our car right in and about 20 min later they brought the car back out and we were able to at least open and close the door. and im thinking sweet! so i gave the 500 check to them and they came back with $10 for change. So $490 for 20 minutes of work. i gave my son the $10 bucks and never went back. as far as im concerned they stole that money from my son being ripped off like that with a smile on their face. i will never go there again and would not recommend them to anyone. since then we always take our vehicles to Irish Hills collision. and have no problem and even had some free work done because we go there all the time. keep you kids away theyll rip em off.
