A tree fell on my car during an ice storm. The next day I requested it be towed to Gray Daniels, as it was where I’d not long before purchased the car. It was dropped off early Monday morning, as confirmed by my insurance adjuster, but I never heard from Gray Daniels. The following Monday I began leaving messages requesting an update, but was unable to get anyone to call me back until I called the dealership general manager the next day. Within minutes I got a call from the collision center manager, only to be told that no work had been done on my car. It still sat where it was dropped off, untouched. I expressed my displeasure, but was told all body shops operate with extended delays, that people generally called to schedule their body work rather than just having their wrecked car towed and dropped off. Two more weeks passed before I was able to pick up my vehicle. The work was done to my satisfaction, but because of the time it took to perform it and the failure of the collision center management to communicate with me in the manner I expect from a service provider, I will avoid using Gray Daniels in the future for anything, including my future vehicle purchases.
I normally would not give a business a bad review but I don’t want this to happen to someone else. We took our vehicle to the preferred shop recommended by our insurance company thinking they would do a good job and be prompt. As far as a good job I can’t say we still have not gotten our vehicle back which had hail damage. It is going on 6 weeks and vehicle is still not ready .We have been told several times it will be ready in 2 days just to have to call and be put off another 2 days. We are doing 99 percent of the calling. We are tired of waiting and will be getting vehicle back tomorrow fixed or not.
Gray-Daniels Collision Center repaired my 2021 Nissan Rogue - I had extensive damage to the front-end after hitting a deer -at the direction of my insurance company it was taken to a repair shop in Pearl after the accident - I was told it could take from three to four months to repair because the Rogue was in production and the parts would be hard to get - I called Gray Daniels Collision and was told with their connection to Gray-Daniels Nissan it would be a much shorter period for repair - their representative, Johnny Champion worked closely with me and had my Rogue repaired within 4 weeks - I am completely satisfied with the repair - I would highly recommend Gray-Daniels Collision Center - I55 North, Jackson, Ms.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! A tree fell onto my car on Christmas Day. I had my car towed to Gray Daniels Collison center. After my car arrived it began to rain really bad. I then called the shop and spoke with the same guy I had been speaking with about my car and asked was my car covered or inside the shop because there was a hole in my windshield from a branch going through it. He stated he would go out to check & give me a call back. After hours passes I call back and spoke with him he assured me that he had covered it an only two drops of water was on my dash that he had wiped off. I repeatedly asked him because the weather had gotten really bad, he promised me that my car was not wet. I went by the dealer ship days later my car was partially covered with a piece of plastic and a tail light. Which he pulled up the plastic covering it once again with a tail light, stating it was getting pulled in the shop shortly. Two weeks later I call the state it would be ready later that day. Keep in mind when I came to pick up my car I had to pay deductible before retrieving my vehicle. When I entered my car there was a foul odor, my console was full of dirty rain water, glass, tree park & mildew on gear shift, There was a dark black tint strip going across the front windshield and tire pressure light from the same tire the tree had pushed the hood of my car on. I went in and discussed my concerns the guy had another guy to get the water out and pull my car back around. I literally had to tell them my car needed to be detailed getting the water out the console serves no purpose my seats were damp my car was really smelly. At this point in told to bring it back the next a.m . After a week I receive my car back I still have glass in my car WORST MISTAKE EVER MY CAR WAS NEVER WET BEFORE TAKING IT TO THE BODY SHOP!!
