So disappointed with our experience. Tori (the salesman) was awesome, but the fact that my sofa came torn, and the delivery driver ran over our mailbox was the start of a horrible experience dealing with management. We were offered a small % back (which wouldn’t cover the warranty we paid for), or we could return the unit. We returned the unit after 6 weeks of back and forth, and when we went to get our refund the manager berated my wife in the store and ultimately asked her to leave, simply for asking for the refund to be processed when she was present. All in all, I feel bad for Tori, he was put in a difficult position by his clueless manager. I would love a conversation with the owner.

After putting half the cost down, and deciding to do monthly payments to help build my credit, I received my furniture after a few weeks and my dresser had a huge crack in it. With promise to get a new one in and delivered quickly it’s been over a month and I still haven’t received my new furniture. They did receive another, and movers brought it to my apartment only to find that dresser was cracked as well. So I am still waiting...For my first months payment I called and they couldn’t find my information, I still wasn’t in the system and the woman I spoke to said she’d call me back but never did. I was left wondering and worried because missing a payment affects my credit. Terrible communication.I don’t feel the amount I’m paying for this furniture is worth it. Now I finally received a payment book in the mail, and will have to pay for furniture I don’t even have. It’s been over two months.I am not impatient, I just wish there was better communication with customers. This being the first time buying furniture on my own I am disappointed.

First of this year went to Royal Furniture Jackson and bought $3500 worth of furniture. When they delivered they were short one nightstand. After a couple of months it finally came in and instead of them delivering I had to go pick it up even though I had been charged for delivery of my furniture. Part of my purchase was 2 Lane rocker recliners. After having just a couple of months the spring came off of one of them so I changed setting in the 2nd one and called Royal to come and repair. 3 weeks later the repair guys comes and fixed the one broke and checks the 2nd. Now just a couple of months later the chair I set in stopped rocking. I once again changed them out and now the 2nd chair has stopped rocking. When I turned the chair over to see what might look wrong there was a bolt on the floor. Looking at the other chair the bolt was undone on it also. I went by the store to have them send someone to come and fix or replace the chairs I was told to now call customer service and take care of myself. The manager of this store is not very customer friendly and I will never go back and buy something in that store again. I paid $500 each for the 2 recliners and though by buying Lane it would be a good brand but guess I was wrong. Made very cheaply. I called customer service and had to leave a voicemail message. Still haven’t heard back from them. If anyone is looking for furniture do yourself a favor and avoid going to Royal Furniture to buy any.

JUST AN FYI IF YOU NEED FURNITURE DONT BUY FROM Royal Furniture Company. An absolute joke. On 8/12 from the time we sat down to work out the numbers the sales associate Dana Griffin seemed to not know what she was doing she had to have two other associates help her thru the process. I was promised a sectional be delivered today 8/21… so I call to check on the status today and they tell me I’m not getting my sectional thats already been paid for because I apparently sent her an “old pay stub” that is dated August 13th which is my most recent one.. no one called me to tell me there was an issue.. If I hadn’t called today I would be left in the dark and now they aren’t answering my calls.. I’ve called corporate and they keep ignoring my calls.

After shopping online for months I found the right dining table for my needs at an acceptable price. Online, it showed that the table was not in the Jackson store but it was in another store. Delivery to my home was available. About a week after deciding on two to tables, the other table was at Ashleys, I went to Royal Furniture with hopes that maybe I could see the actual table.As I sat in my car waiting for the store to open, the doors were finally unlocked about 10 minutes after advertised opening hour. A sales person quickly approached me and I looked at all the dining room tables in the store. I still wanted the table that I saw online. The sales lady told me that the table was out of stock, indicating that the table was unavailable.I went to Ashleys to look at the other table. Again, I was immediately approached by a sales person. She guided me to the table that I might have wanted. That table wasnt right for my preferences so the sweet sales lady quickly toured the store to show me their other selections. I liked that she was so quick because I didnt care to casually wander around the store. I didnt find a table that I wanted.I went back to Royal Furniture. If the table I wanted would be available again I wanted to know. I showed her my choice again and this time she saw that it was at another store, available. I was a little nervous about buying a table that I hadnt actually seen but it seemed to be the most suitable for me. I purchased the table and bored for the best. The sales lady told me that she didnt know when it could be delivered but she would call and let me know. That was on Monday.Fortunately I wasnt in a hurry for the delivery, I was painting and redefining the room that it would go in. My home is a 100 years old and has a 10x10 dining room. I moved the den to the useless living room and converted the huge den to my dining room. I frequently host dinner parties and Ive had to borrow tables and chairs from my church, then temporarily convert the living room for dining. I couldnt haul all that any more so I decided it was time to do something about it.Friday comes and I still havent heard anything regarding delivery. I called the store just after their opening hour, no answer. Thirty minutes later, they still arent answering the phone. Annoying. Finally, I called my sales ladys cell. She told me that she had forgotten to call me. Annoying. The table would be delivered Saturday, tomorrow. With such short notice, I had to scramble to prepare for the delivery, my painting mess and tear-down was all over the room.The delivery guys were very professional and super nice. They even thanked me for making it such a quick and easy delivery.The table is beautiful and exactly as I had imagined. I was not disappointed with my purchase. The Bixby table with the wine rack underneath is a rich espresso color. I bought my chairs from Amazon and the table and chairs match perfectly.I need to seat 8-10 people for dinner and this table is just the right size.About my decision process, I will need this table for about 10 years, we are seniors in our 70s, all of us, so we dont have a lot of years ahead of us. Reality. Im far past long life purchases, thats why price was important.This beautiful Bixby table is a high quality lifetime piece of furniture, it will last decades longer than I have ahead. You could change out the chairs and have a new look, its a very versatile style, heavy and durable. Im so pleased with my purchase.Royal Furniture closed for years but I also bought the exquisite bedroom furniture of my dreams (dream furniture is expensive at any store) at Royal about 20 years ago. I still love it everyday.If youre looking for furniture, shop at Royal Furniture and you will find plenty of nice choices. The store doesnt look impressive on the outside but the furniture inside is impressive.

Upon attempting to buy our furniture the sales associate willingly helped another person buy a twin mattress while in the middle of our dealings, very rude an unprofessional. Upon pick up they were missing part of my order, refused delivery of it as it was their fault pieces were missing so I had to drive 45 minutes out of my way AGAIN to get my stuff.The warranty is a joke, had a zipper rip open called 3 times and set up appointment all to have the person cancel everytime. Not to mention each appointment for them to come was 2 months out everytime.Called corporate over a month ago regarding their lack of customer care and demanded a refund for the money I gave for warranty and its been over a month and nothing still.Save your money, your time and go somewhere you money will be appreciated.Horrible company, bad corporate service, bad warranty service and even worse customer service.2800$ blown on bad furniture with garbage company.

I wished I had read the reviews before I wasted time. We were in there for 20+ minutes wanting to buy a sectional and recliner. We were ignored. When my husband asked a sales guy something he got a “I don’t know” as the guy kept walking by. We have never seen so many rude people in one place. We will NOT beg anyone to sell us something. This is by far the worst service I’ve ever had in a furniture company which says a lot because Ashley furniture is pretty bad and royal is worse then them. They will tell you anything to get you to purchase the furniture but do not tell you that it’s going to take you two months to get something along with telling you somethings going to be delivered in a week and called you the day is supposed to be delivered and say they ran out on the truck of what was Supposed to be delivered to your home. They take your money and the sales people get their commission but you do not get your products for a very long time. Stay clear of this place they will give you the runaround as much as they can till you cancel because you haven’t received your stuff yet. The sales person Dana is rude unprofessional and is the worst of the worst in there about lying to you about getting your stuff but tries to say she was honest from the beginning when she was not. I would never suggest anyone to order from here.

My furniture was delivered on Oct 1st, 2020. Although we love our bedroom suit and mattress, I did have a question regarding my purchase. I called several times to speak to my salesperson. Each time I called she was either sick, or gone home early. I left several voicemails on her work phone. I never got a response! I finally got through to her yesterday and I was told “I don’t check my messages”! Really? I just spent a small fortune and she couldn’t call her customer back? Terrible customer service skills is what she has! I will never purchase anything there again! That is very bad for business when you won’t call you customer back!

The worst customer service and furniture place around ever! I bought an expensive family room furniture set from them 6 weeks ago. Received the largest piece damaged AND the two pieces are completely different colors!!! The manager tried to blame it on the certain dye saying it could just be a different dye pattern. Sent them pictures and they apologized and said theyd get a new one sent out the next week - sent the wrong item to replace the damaged one and they sent the wrong one! 6 weeks later we still do not have a matching set without any tears or electrical issues... DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THIS STORE!!!

The sign on door says Open 9:30am another said 11am. I walked in at 10:56am as door was unlocked. I was greeted with the words. We don’t open until 11am. I responded we will go some where else then. Associate said I was going to let you look until you got hateful.My money will not be spent at Royal in Jackson Tn. Guaranteed!

****Thank you for responding, but the issue I have is not with any of the special ordered items.*******Still not happy that I’m stuck paying for something I am not satisfied with!!!*** As a customer I don’t feel my situation was handled properly. I have referred people in the past and currently in need of more furniture, but you have lost me as a customer!My experience has pros and cons-Pros:-Mrs. Susie is really nice and was patient with us. I like the fact their store can order (some) Ashley’s furniture as well as having reasonable prices. The delivery crew was nice. If furniture arrived (by delivery) damaged, it was sent back and replaced.Cons:-Some furniture arrived damaged, which meant I had to wait longer for my furniture.- I was NOT completely satisfied with a couple pieces of furniture; And there is no customer satisfaction guarantee. The dimensions (which is why I chose this particular size) on their website for furniture did not measure the same of what I received (otherwise I would have chosen the larger one)- yes, it was about a few days or so before I noticed something was off, but that’s because we were gone for a while shortly after delivery to pay attention to that and the only option I had was to pay a 20% restocking fee in order to swap it out. And that was a no-go considering we have already agreed to pay several thousands for the other furniture we had. So now I’m stuck paying a nice payment on small furniture that does not fit my space well.FYI:Overall, just make sure you know exactly what you’re getting before you get it, because if it’s special ordered- you cannot return it. If it’s not, you will have to pay a 20% restocking fee. If you order a table and chairs, be sure to sit in all the chairs (to make sure they don’t wobble) before the delivery crew leaves- some of our chairs wobble.***Also, a family member bought us a bedroom suit on a separate order- the dresser was damaged as well and had to go back. The Chester drawer was purchased separately and we picked it up ourselves, unboxed it at home, only to find it was damaged as well (scratches)- we didn’t bother calling back... not paying 20% for damages that were already there.Don’t know if I would recommend (again- (we had already done so while we were in the process of buying furniture)) after my experience. This may be an individual by individual experience. But I was only 50% satisfied, that’s only because in the end, I do like the style of the furniture in my new home!!!

Bought a electric recliner and a couch not even a year ago! The recliner is junk it has collapsed in the arms almost like it’s card board! Also the front of it has collapsed down. My husband weighs 185 so not sure why it’s like this! The couch we seen on the display floor was so comfortable and I fell in love with it! When ours was delivered I could hardly believe it was the same couch it’s hard and almost like stiff pillows if even a thing! The back of the couch when you sit u can feel a piece of wood across the back! I’m so dang discussed I hate coming in my living room! The last recliner we had we paid $299.00 from corinth and it was still in good shape 5 years later!!!

Our salesperson Dana was amazing with an incredible personality and lots of patience. She made our experience very pleasant and fun. I bought 2 comfort king big man chairs at the Jackson TN store on March 3 2019. I only needed one but that was the sale was 2 for the price of one. The price was $799 plus tax delivery and a 5 year warranty. Six weeks ago couple of bolts broke and a spring flew out on the right side of one of the chairs. No biggie I bought the 5 year warranty or so I thought. After a few calls and a face to face visit with the assistant manager I still havent gotten a call or any action about repairing or replacement of the chair. 6 weeks is way too long. Something like a new should have happened by now. This is ridiculous. Think I havent been patient enough? Ill be back at the store tomorrow.

I love this store. We had a very bad experience with Ashley Furniture in Jackson and ended up at Royal. Not only did we get a great deal on a leather sectional but they assisted in us getting a full refund from the other company. We had a malfunction with a recliner on the sectional and instead of putting us off 4-6 weeks for a repair, the manager sent a new recliner piece to the house with 3 days and replaced it!! Top rated customer service at this location

Good looking furniture at great prices, however when we received our furniture it was damaged and also came in several days later than expected. Our sales lady was disappointing to say the least. She was of no help when we mentioned the damage, she just shrugged it off. In the end we returned the furniture for a refund and ended up finding a much better place, Furniture World Discount Warehouse. Go there! It is AWESOME!

!!!!DISHONEST SALES PEOPLE & MANAGER!!!!YOU ARE NOT BUYING ALL PIECES PICTURED AND DISPLAYED IN THE STORE!!!We ordered a king bedroom suit and added an extra night stand with dual adjustable base. When delivered the chest of drawers was not on the truck. Honest mistake right? WRONG!!! According to Dana, our sales lady, and Aaron, the store manager, a chest of drawers is not included when you specifically tell them you want the entire suit. When I called they acted like I should have known this and that it is standard for it not to be included. But this happens often according to the delivery guy. Who will be reprimanded according to the manager for being HONEST with me. I do not mind paying for what I want but this was WRONG! They should specifically tell their customers if a piece is not included. By the way, the delivery guys were awesome! Courteous, prompt, took extra care to ensure our furniture wasnt damaged when bringing up the stairs through a tight squeeze. I hate he will suffer from being a good, HONEST person! By the way Furniture World carries the same brand at a discounted price and are honest people. Will never buy from Royal Furniture again!

Wife and I ordered a table and chairs from them. Sales person let us know it would be in in a day or two. We called two days later and they let us know that everything was in ready for pickup. When we got to the store to pick up the set, we waited 20 minutes for the assistant manager to come outside to tell us all they had in stock was the table and not the chairs, and that the chairs would be available in three weeks. You think that would have been something they would have noticed before we came to pick it up?? From the sale lady placing the order to the warehouse receiving the order to the people loading the truck to the people unloading at the store, you would think some one would have noticed EIGHT MISSING CHAIRS?!? Anyway, the manager handled it terribly. She kept trying to blame the sales lady and shifting the blame away from her. Absolutely terrible experience. We won’t be back to this store. We found the same exact same set for less at Ashley furniture. We will be shopping there from now on.

Purchased a bedroom, living room and kitchen set. There was a misunderstanding initially with delivery. Got a call that the bedroom set was not in stock as im waiting for them to deliver. So i go back up pick out a new one which was not my first choice, bed came but not the full set . Waited a full 2 weeks after my other furniture had already been delivered to get my bedroom set. Bed is horrrible my back is literally jacked up from the springy mattress. They are willing to work with you on payments for the most part but will harass the hell out of you. Went to court (unrelated) but they had many cases of them sueing people for unpaid balances. Thread lightly only get what you can afford otherwise youll be dooked in the end.

My wife and I took out the 4 yr replacement plan on my livingroom furniture for me to call them and them to tell me you have to call within 5 days of 1 single incident thats the only way it is covered. Dont be taken on this scam! The furniture protection plan is a hoax and will not cover anything!!

The store, staff and delivery were awesome! The only issue I had was with the warranty company. My brown leather couch turned red where I sit. It was covered in warranty but it took the warranty company from February 12 to May 18th 2018 to do anything. I called every week and they would say that the parts had been ordered. So for over 4 months they waited saying the parts are ordered every time I called. Finally, a supervisor made the decision to have Royal bring me a new couch. Royal was GREAT! Once they got the okay, I had a replacement in 3 days!

The manager called me liar when he told me over the phone that he would take care of a late fee this one time but for future purposes we have to pay at a certain time, even if it is on the day its due, or it post the next day. Well he never took care of it and I have been getting collection calls. And Im being called a liar cause he never said that. They just lost a customer and I hope everyone knows that is how they treat customers.

Quick to get your money but not so quick to give you what you paid for. Salesman sold me an out of stock item & didnt bother telling me until the day of my pick up . I was forced to settle with a different color item because of their negligence . NEVER AGAIN .

I purchase a living room suite with extended warranty. I had several issues with the quality of the furniture. Every time, I call someone about getting things fixed. I get the run around then, I hear its not cover due to wear and tear...the cracking and peeling are in the seams of the furniture. The warranty states cracking and peeling is cover. Im very disappointed in the quality of the furniture and extremely disappointed in their customers services. Still waiting on their response.

But boy was I wrong they have great prices and my down set that I purchased for under $2000 is the exact same quality as the $4000 one I saw at Coffmans. Dont sell yourself short check Royal Furniture before you make your purchase anywhere else.

If I could give less than 1 star please believe me I would.. this was the worst experience I have EVER had with a business and they have the WORST customer service.. I would like to start by saying when we walked into royal furniture it was everything you’d hope for in a buying experience but once the purchase was made I feel as if they were too concerned with making the next sale and not with the customers who had already purchased from them. (Our sales rep was Alice Balentine.) After the experience I have had after the sale was finalized I would NOT recommend to ANYONE. My fiancé and I purchased a 6 piece sectional that was delivered to our brand new house (which we weren’t even moved into yet). The day it was delivered and set up the lounge that reclines was not fully raised up to level off with the tops of the rest of the sectional. You can stand behind it and push it up and when you let it go it drops back down. The delivery man asked if he could plug it in to raise it up. I said we do not have our power turned on yet and he told me whenever we got our electricity turned on to plug it up and see if it would raise up and if not it would have to replaced. So just to make a point.. OUR FURNITURE WAS DELIVERED DAMANGED. On Oct 25, 2018 we got our electric turned on and I checked to see if the sectional would raise up and if course it didn’t. I called on that day and once a week after for a month straight (each time telling whoever I got on the phone that I needed to be contacted at my number with ANY information and not my fiancé’s bc of his work schedule) only to be told over and over again the same things. Give me your name and number and I’ll look into it and get back with you and I’m sorry. On the third time I called Alice “was on the floor helping a customer” so I got a man by the name of Max and I explained to him that I was very frustrated and why and he said he understood and would take it over and handle it but never did. Alice didn’t want to take the phone call which is why max said he would “take it over from here” bc she knows she was in the wrong and not doing right and furthermore she should have been less worried about making a new sale and helping the customers who already purchased from them. Finally on Nov 25th when my fiancé had enough he called and it was the same thing over again.. He said he better have a call by the following Tuesday. Tonight they called me (for the first time) and it was Alice only to tell me that a 615-628 number had called on the 23rd and said the furniture was fine and didn’t need fixed.. really ? Bc that isn’t me or my fiancé’s number and the furniture is definitely not fine.. then gives the phone to her manager who states that they have tried to call my fiancé several times and left 3 voicemails.. yes I went off in anger bc I have expressed to them all every time I call to call my number and bc of me using foul language hangs up on me. So, I call Alice’s line back to have the manager answer it and say he hung up bc he’s not gonna listen to someone talk like that. Clearly he doesn’t realize I wouldn’t be upset in the first place if I didn’t have to call for a month and keep asking them to fix my furniture that was delivered damaged. He said why don’t you check your fiancé’s voicemail and get the number you need to call. My fiancé doesn’t have missed calls from them or voicemails considering he doesn’t even have a voicemail box set up. The manager did give me a number to call and a order number to identity me so we will see what happens tomorrow but in the mean time for anymore reading these reviews don’t be fooled like we were!!!!

This place has beautiful furniture and is at a reasonable price, i have purchased a number of peices there but was disappointed today, i was looking for a reclining chair, didnt see anything i liked. Bought one there a couple years ago just loved it, not so this time.

The whole experience from the time my furniture was delivered absolutely horrible! There is no communication whatsoever. Everybody blamed one another for the disaster and they did not exceed my expectations. I should have ran out of the store when a customer was going off about how rude one of the workers were to her. Go somewhere else because Im sure they will continue to get over on people.

Very bad customer service. Once we signed on the dotted line attitudes changed. They act like we was getting on their nerves when we called to check on our purchases. Furniture quality not good. We had to swap the new furniture we bought for more funiture because it was it was poorly made. They sent us the bill before we got the right funiture. We purchased our stuff in May. It is almost July and we are still waiting for a furniture exchange. Bad business.
