The common courtesy was there. But i tell you, I walked through every single aisle trying to see why the name of the store was called Dollar Tree. Not one item could i purchase was for a dollar. But i was able to find what ever i was looking for. So it wasnt a waste of time

Everything about Dollar Tree is good, very affordable and great finds.The only thing that makes this store one of the places I dont like to go is because of one cashier that is very rude and nasty. Ive seen her antics with other customers until today became my turn, Ive heard her tell other customers to hurry up because shes leaving, she has ignored people asking her a question directly.she is a disgusting display of customer service!!

This place is literally affordable when handling a low-key budget. I mean daily, weekly, and monthly. You name it! Cashiers are cool/kind most of the time. Over all I rate this place 88%.

The store is amazing it has everything. Look i use to shop at big stores. I would turn and say they do not have what I need. I was totally wrong this store has so much do not sleep on them. I did now I shop in dollar tree a lot they have everything. I would go to the supermarket but now I am in dollar tree. The food is fresh you need to open your eyes plus you save a lot of money. Trust and believe dollar tree is the store you need to shop in. Well I guess I will see you there!

Though it is in the hood, this site is consistently stocked with a plethora and variety of goods. The aisles are most always clean, organized, clear ( even if there shipments to put away) Of all the Dollar trees I have visited in my years of being a DTree customer, this is by far, the best.

They had a lot of options, I was very surprised. The lines were long, but you barely noticed because the cashier was very fast. Very accommodating to my needs to leave my cart and bring my car around. I will definitely be a returning customer. They have the cutest Kleenex boxes for kids.

I usually shop at Dollar Tree just for certain things like odds and end around the house eg. Hangers Candy, some snacks, and stuff like that. Its as advertised everything is a dollar. Never had a bad experience in one that I can remember.

This by far is the worst one in NJ. Long lines and attitude atmosphere by some of the cashiers. I was charged..$5.07, for 4 items of $1.00 each. Tax on two items do not add up to $5.07. Furthermore, when i left the store she..(Kel..), gave me 0.88ct out of $6.00. Either, she cant count or else..? I spoke to a mgr. afterwards, about this nonsense. By the way, this type of service is common for this location. I refuse, to argue w these deprived wm working at DT

Overall, staff is not customer friendly, especially managers. Evidently, having a bad attitude is a requirement for employment here. Also the aisles are always full with boxes. Often I had to open a box just to access an item for purchase. Horrible shopping experience

My visit to Dollar Tree was awesome! Very clean and organize. The employees were very pleasant. Best store ever for my crafts supplies.

Even though today I had the most incompitant rude cashier that I can ever think of, i still love coming here because dollar tree lets you buy simple staples (eggs, juice,bread etc) for the house for only $1. If there is a dollar tree in your neighbor than you should not go hungry if funds are low

They didnt have anything to wrap the wine glass and the plates how you gonna sell those stuff but have nothing to wrap them what is the point? On top of that cashier had nasty attitude.. only good thing is the price of items the store was unorganized and the shelves empty..

I shop there from time to time, and Ive only experienced One negative incident regarding my son; with a cashier that had No Patience when he had difficulty in counting out his money. He may Not look it, but he has a Disability and he shouldnt have to be embarrassed by it, by someone who dont understand his limitations. Hire people who knows compassion. Otherwise, I like the items they sell.

They usually arent stocked very well and the cashiers(with the exception of a few) are usually really grumpy and snippy.

One of the cashier was very rude to me simply because I asked for more nylon bag to pack my stuff, funny enough I didnt utter a word and she kept on insulting to the extent that the others started making fun of me. I felt humiliated

This Dollar Tree has the worst cashiers.They get away by disrespecting customers in such a rude manner an example, mouthing off to a customer as an active cashier who uses such profanity words, turning off the cash registers light childishly then goes to break spitefully in the middle of check out knowing that customer only has one or few food items, a mistake in the customers transaction, customer asking for assistance with their transaction. while this stiuation is taking place the manager of the store is there, watching the whole thing and doesnt correct theyre employees by the poor behavior that has been shown. Mostly they dont do anything about it and the disrespectful employees get away with it everytime. As a happy customer who enjoys shopping at Dollar Tree its very troublesome to have this experience each time entering this establishment. Instead of customers leaving there with a joyful most satisfying experience they leave there feeling a high level of frustration. the only way for this Dollar Tree to improve is by getting better respectful employees who will be willing to do the work the right way and to show customers a welcome attitude every time they step into and out of Dollar Tree.My 1 star will change when everything has changed in this establishment call Dollar Tree.

Nothing on its shelves, things opened, completely unorganized, upon walking in and the entirety of the store it smelled like a dead rat. Cashiers are too busy on their phones and take way too long scanning items

All Dollar Trees in the urban Essex county cities is the worst in the United States. Dont waste your time. 97% of the time 1 cashier 1 stocker. Never ever will the shelves be stocked just boxes in aisles wit BS in them and broken merchandise.

Store has been cleaned and fixed up which is a plus The two stock employees was very helpful but just when I was getting ready to pay the 4:00pm Tuesday Cashier here was very rude I decided to place my basket on register and she asked me to remove the basket and take all my items out Then when I was done i took all my items I had purchased and as I was walking out she yells for me to return back just so I can pick up the basket from the floor so I can place it on its rack no please no thank you and isnt that why dollar tree pays their cashiers for thats part of her jobI was such in a hurry one of my daughters had to use the potty I had a very unpleasant experience here

This review is meant for the dollar tree in Maplewood. I accidentally made the review under the wrong location.The staff is rude and highly unprofessional. I had been standing at the register for about 5 minutes with no one to assist me. I saw a clerk was moving shopping carts around so I went to ask her if she could check me out before I could finish my sentece she snapped at me. She rudely said to me don’t you see I’m coming back in.Another clerk who was busy blowing up balloons implied I was lying because in his words he saw me standing there so I couldn’t have been waiting long. The way I was treated was such bs and I couldn’t do anything because they back each other up. There is no reason for the staff to be so nasty. If you hate your job then don’t work there.
