When I first called in to get info on the movers, I spoke to Amy. She was very helpful and cheerful. Amy quickly figured up the total costs and set up the team that would be helping load the moving truck for us. She assured me that the price quoted was the final cost, with no hidden fees. And she was correct!The movers, Dom and Jordan, were absolutely phenomenal! They called ahead to let us know they were on their way, as Amy had said theyd do. They arrived on time and jumped right into unloading our 2, extra large storage units into the 26 truck. I told them I really hoped all of the stuff fit into the truck and Dom said they were in the miracle packing business... and he was NOT wrong! They had it loaded up in 3 hours and tied up snuggly.If youre going to be moving, Id highly recommend this company, and suggest you ask for Dom and Jordan. They did not waste one second of the time they were hired for.We moved from Texas to Georgia and not one thing was broken or scratched. Thank you, Jordan, for your expert wrapping of the bigger pieces of furniture. And thank you both for the care in putting everything into the truck perfectly. Dom, you truly were a miracle worker. 😊Yall are a 10 star company as far as Im concerned! 🌟 🌟

They moved my stuff out of three storages in a matter of a few hours. They were funny, courteous, efficient, professional and they did an awesome job. I recommend them highly. Awesome guys!!

These guys did a fantastic job getting me moved! I had my belongings stored in Irving and moved to Rowlett and during the State Fair too! These guys got everything loaded, drove through state fair traffic, got everything unloaded in the time that had been agreed on. I was really thinking there would be a delay because of traffic but they made it through. My things were wrapped for protection during the move and unloaded with care. I really appreciate the professional attention my move was given! Thanks for the great work and service. I would recommend this business for moving and will be using them again!

I waited over a month to write this review so that I could be as objective as possible, as I as I was very irritated at the time of my move. I should start by saying that I dont really leave negative reviews. The majority of my reviews are quite positive, however I believe that they have earned this one.I was asked to confirm a moving time and pay the deposit for a set day and time. Saturday, June 26, 12-3pm. That time came and went without communication. I called them and requested a status update. I was told that they could not successfully contact the crew in question, so theyd try and bring out a new crew at 5pm. I waited. That time came and went without communication. I called at 530, and was told Id need to be scheduled the next day. For my troubles, theyd give me $30 discount, which seemed insulting given the almost $500 I was going to pay for them to do their jobs at the agreed upon time. It was made known to me that the initial crew had a family emergency and did not report to work as off until 5pm. While I certainly understand emergency taking priority, the no call to work means the move/customer before me that morning also got the shaff.I spoke directly to dispatch who told me he would personally come out himself that evening. He was a friendly gentleman, and he meant well. He said hed find a truck and an extra body and be there at 8-830. Didnt love moving at night, but at this point my kids need beds to sleep, so what the hay? I waited. Received a call at 840pm stating the extra body in question was in no condition to work. I inquired whether that meant drunk or sick, and the answer led me to strongly assume the extra helping hand was under the influence of something. I was again pushed to the next day. At this point, Ive wasted my entire moving day and my kids have nowhere to sleep. I resorted to the old boy network, found some friends, family, and pickups, and we moved it ourselves, because I didnt trust them to actually be there Sunday either.This was my first hired moving experience, and to be honest, its been terrible. I would not recommend this company. They were friendly. They refunded my deposit. However, they were wildly understaffed and bad at communication, which made them appear very inept at their jobs.

This movers company is a great one. They moved my two bedroom apartment without having a single incident. I will always recommend my friends for this company.

There was a mix up in their system that caused there to be a delay in the move which is why just 4 stars. However Sal’s crew was outstanding and did everything in their power to make the mix up right. Sal’s crew came ready to move my property and we’re awesome. They were very professional and quick. They knew exactly how to load everything to get it all in their trailer while keeping my stuff safe from damage. They then got it all into my storage unit which I know I could not have done. I would absolutely use Sal’s crew again when it comes time to move my property from storage to my new house. Thanks a ton for taking care of me and most of all my property.

Couldn’t be more satisfied with my move. Over the phone, Apartment Movers was able to accurately estimate the number of trucks and movers I would need. The crew was right on time, quickly and carefully loaded all our possessions, and delivered them to our new home. The whole process could not have gone more smoothly. I would highly recommend this group and will be using them again in the future.

I moved and this company told me between 7a-12p. However I had to call the movers that’s strike 1. He told me the time frame would be 12-1 okay cool. I had to call around 2, I sh why did I have to call. Your guess is good as mine. They end up arriving around 3-4. My whole day was gone waiting upon them. All they had to do was communicate with me. It shouldn’t have taken me contacting me. When they arrived they were fast. And somewhat professional. I have emailed Amy with this concern and there has been no response.

They are a poor excuse for movers. I was quoted one price and had to end up paying another. I talked with the person in the office about the situation and all i got was a sorry this happened. They offeted to refund my 30 dollar deposit but that hasnt happened yet. I would not refer anyone to these people. They should have in all fairness refunded the extra i had to pay. I was charged for the uhaul the guys had to rent which was not my responsibility. That being said they cheat people or allow thete moving guys to do it. These men would not be working for me if it was my company. But i guess as long as you are making money you dont really care how you get it. Please dont waste your time or money.

Quoted for 3 guys, only 2 showed up. They arrived in an old, unmarked yellow truck, and didnt even have a dollie to help them lift my appliances and boxes. I tried calling the company during the move about only 2 guys showing up, but I was on hold for 20 minutes only to be sent to voicemail and my call never returned.While all of my stuff arrived and was undamaged, which is the only reason for the second star, the company isnt trustworthy enough in its business practices to recommend their service to others.

We had two movers move us from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house. I have never seen two people work as hard as these two. They were kind, courteous, and never stopped working even though it rained the whole time. We would recommend this company to anyone who is moving. We had to reschedule several times and they were always willing to work with our schedule. Amy in the office made the move so easy for us.

So I hired this company to move my house to my new house. Upon arrival they were great. While bringing furniture into my new home they were trying to get my fridge though the front door. I told the guy it wouldn’t fit that it needed to go through the double back door. He didn’t listen and just shoved it through and when he did he scratched and dented both of my stainless steel doors. He ruined a 3500 dollar fridge. So I contacted the company to take care of it since the are licensed and insured. David rice called me and assured they would take care of it. Through many emails he finally (4 months later) sent a repair man. Well again nothing was done due to it being a door for the wrong fridge. Here we are 6 months later and he will not contact me or answer calls or emails. Do not for any reason use this company. They are scam artist and will ruin your good furniture. I will never use this company or recommend them to anyone else again. Looser company for sure.

APARTMENT moversRealistically the communication had me nervous, but I can understand having a busy day and time constraints, in the end the communication smoothed out, the movers were CAREFUL, they assisted each other to ensure the walls werent scratch, or the furniture. They padded everything, they move swiftly, and overall had very good vibes, I am appreciative that the move was successful, without any damage at all!!! The driver had amazing talent with his truck, lol I also recommended their services to a friend of mine, try them out, and we all have to exercise a bit of patience when moving, I am appreciative. They collected my money and never showed up nor calloway

I know this company has gotten a lot of negative reviews, but they won’t get one from me. Let start from the beginning. Before I sent my quest for service online, I got a phone call from the company. This lady ( sorry forgot your name) was very responsive and eager to service my needs at a great rate. Two days before my move I got two confirmation call ( one from the office and one from the movers) to make sure I stilled needed their service, so professional! On moving day everything ran smoothly. Yakini and Salvador are the best mover ever. These guys were timely, professional, and courteous with my things.

DO NOT EVER USE!!!! There is no communication at all. They gave us a 5 hour window and refused to give us an estimated time to expect anyone. Very unprofessional!!! We had a 7-12 window and +the movers were late. We ended up getting a different company to do the move that day. The movers for the Apartment movers do not actually work for the company, they are contracted out. Apparently this company has a bad reputation in the moving community! They deserve a rating of negative 100!!

Edit: I was reached out to about my concerns and they apologized again. Like I mentioned below. Everyone was very nice to speak with and I did receive my deposit back. I appreciate the steps they took to make things right.I did a quote online and someone reached out to me being very persistent to schedule with them, as most companies would do to gain business. I scheduled my date and my time frame was 7am-12pm. Days before I get a call seeing if I need to add any additional things to my move. Then came the day of. I waited around and was getting a bit nervous because it was almost 12pm. Well once 12 hit I called and asked what was going on. I was told no movers were assigned to my move... they said they could only do two days later because they did not have any movers available. She supervisor tried calling the other scheduled move to see if they wanted to switch their date. They didn’t answer and with it already being 2pm by now, I could not wait any longer. So I rented a uhaul and luckily, I have a few people who could help that day. I was told I would receive my deposit back and a gift card. But after reading some other reviews, I don’t know if I’ll get my money back. I’m still a bit hopeful. Overall, I don’t know if I would want to work with them again because I cannot afford for movers to not show up at the time and date I set it up. The bright side is that I saved money moving everything myself.

Honestly, I am very pleased with the service I received. I literally called to get a quote and the lady in the office sent someone over the same day. The movers were very fast and so helpful. I have no complaints and the service was so affordable. I would definitely be using this company the next time I move.

Hands down the best moving experience! Price and customer service were unbeatable!I worked with David and Amy in the office and they were very thorough with us regarding how the move process would work and what to expect. They helped me gather a complete inventory for them so they could ensure they sent the right sized truck for all of our stuff. The movers arrived at the beginning of our arrival window and got started right away. They were careful with all of my belongings and made sure when They unloaded they put everything in the rooms they belonged in and even made sure stuff was set up on the walls we wanted it on. I have never used movers before and to have this be my first experience, I will use them every time we move!

I just recently hired The Apartment Movers to move me from humble Texas to Pearland. I want to express my sincere gratitude to this company for helping me in a jam and providing me with excellent service. I had called this company last minute to move me out of my boyfriends apartment. I had to urgently leave a bad relationship and after contacting several other companies who wanted to charge me large hourly rates when I only had less than 10 items to move. When I told the apartment movers what situation I had they immediately gave me a priority move to have me out first thing the fallowing morning for no extra charge. They gave me a reasonable flat rate and very courteous customer service. more importantly they worked calmly and took the time to protect my belongings even though I had a peace officer present and my ex-boyfriend was screaming the whole time. In the end I was moved out and in my new home within 4hours. My bed was reassembled for me and all my furniture arrived in great condition. I am so happy with this company as every other company I spoke too didnt seem to care about my situation and most wanted to charge me extra for the last minute move. THANK YOU APARTMENT MOVERS!! :)

These are the most inept bunch of people I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with PERIOD! Scheduled a move with them after discussing all the specific items to move, was told all of the belongings would fit in a 24 foot truck, ordered and paid extra for the 26 foot truck, supposed to arrive between 7 and 8 A.M., arrived at 9:50, took another hour and forty minutes to start loading. NO COMMUNICATION whatsoever regarding the fact that the movers showed up late, without the materials that I was informed they would have, took 8.5 hours for them to load the truck, they couldnt transport the belongings to the new place until the next day, so my belongings sat in the truck in a storage facility somewhere all night and half the next day. Repeatedly, I asked for an estimated time of arrival for the truck and was not answered until early afternoon the next day! Finally in the late afternoon, the moving truck arrived at the storage unit with only Two guys! Took them 8.5 to 9 hours to unload the truck, more expense incurred by me for supervision of my belongings. To make matters worse, NOT all my stuff fit in the truck so I had to hire more people and equipment to do this last minute. Have talked to a manager multiple times and have not even received an apology or refund of anything paid. Was told that I am talking to a dispatch center, and someone will get back to me, (right). Holding my breath! DO NOT DO Business with these people they lied, lied, and lied some more, and gladly took my money!

If you book with this company do yourself a favor and request Romero and Edwin. They moved us from a 3rd floor to a third floor in less than the 3 hours we had booked for.We werent sure it was going to work out until I saw how quick and efficiently they worked.Both were hard working, polite and professional.The five stars is for both Romero and Edwin as the movers.

This is the WORST customer experience I have ever had. The supervisor on the phone even cursed at me, just wow. I was told the owner would reach out to see what happened after reporting this abuse...weeks later no response. I HIGHLY suggest using any other company but this one. My family has never been so mistreated...

I had an appointment time of 7am, movers were at my door at 6:45am ready with pads, blankets and plastic wrap to protect my things. Movers were super professional and patient. All of my items were delivered damage free and put together correctly. I highly recommend this company. I will be using them to move my mother from Houston to Dallas in a few weeks. I will update on the next move.

Great experience an good price

I have used this company 3 times so far and they are always so nice and helpful! They loved my dog and cat and made sure that they were secured while the doors were open. Great customer service! I have lots of artwork that needs extra care. They wrap all my paintings with bubble wrap and pack them in special boxes, and they always make it in one piece. As a precaution, they also put down floor runners so that my wood floors wouldnt be damaged. They are always on time, but once they were running behind and they called to let me know. They were only about 30 minutes late, which was fine. I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone moving with expensive or fragile items! I recommended them to a coworker at the hospital and they were also very pleased with their moving experience.

They really need to start answering their phones more efficiently, but once they got there it was in, out, and done.

I would give no stars if I could:Scheduled a move 3 weeks in advanced. No movers - Once I get on the phone with 5 different Managers No resolution, just excuses. I have been working with APT all week. Their people are very courteous, and very accommodating to the type of service that you need. Dont need an over-sized expensive truck to move your small place? They wont require you to pay for it, and give you options instead. Very helpful people!

The two guys who moved me were awesome. They carefully wrapped what needed to be wrapped and carefully loaded all of my belongings without incident. When I unpacked and got everything in place not one single item was broken or damaged. They set up everything exactly where I wanted it to be and cheerful in doing so. Thank you to both of them for doing a great job and being fast and efficient.

Other than their time management, my experience was awful. They snapped the leg on my kitchen table and broke the glass shade on my lamp. We are also missing a box with one of my favorite pots. I have filed a claim for my broken and missing items but never got a reply email. It would be nice to at least get a reply so that I know someone received my email. Im very disappointed with the service. This company had the lowest rates in my area and I see why now. I would suggest spending the extra money on a different company.***UPDATE***After two months of back and forth with this company, we still have not been paid the $0.60 per pound of damaged furniture. When we signed for them to move our furniture we were told we would have full insurance.They dont tell you when you sign that its only $0.60 per pound, my fault for not reading the contract I guess.They keep sending someone out to fix our furniture. Someone came and super glued the snapped leg of our table together and filled in the ripped leather chair with a sharpie. I have never been so disappointed with a company and their customer service. If I were you, I would run far far away from this crooked company.

We just moved from Cottonwood to Preston Hollow, (February 4th) with Apartment movers help. It was the best move experience we had so far and we have been moving around a lot! The crew was very professional, respectful to our home and on time. The sale representative Cynthia visited our home to estimate the cost and how many trucks we needed. She gave me so many great tips to lower the cost. She is friendly, honest and very professional. She provided us boxes and all packing materials, since I asked to pack boxes myself. The whole time, she tried to schedule everything on time and always was in communication with us in order to inform us with the new updates and other info. The loading and delivery crew also did an amazing job. The movers helped us with anything that was asked. It was the most amazing thing ever to watch them be so careful with our furniture and boxes. The whole crew had a very positive good mood which made our stressful day much better. Everything was delivered and assembled without even a scratch. I am so glad we chose The Apartment Movers to help us with the move and we are very grateful to the whole crew who helped us move our home!Good job guys and keep up the good work!

DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS COMPANY TO ARRIVE ON TIME!!! We had a priority move scheduled for 8 am. They came three hours late! This was to move a disabled person from one assisted living to the another assisted living. The time to show up was of great importance! Also, the guy moving us said, this company over schedules all the time! He had a very small, slow moving, 18 year old helping him! They got lost on the way to the drop off location, even after we supplied them with typed directions. We still had to pay for the time they were wondering around trying to find us. It was in the same zip code as their main office! They are super nice when you call to schedule and will promise you what they can not deliver. This was to move a studio apartment with 7 pieces of furniture and 10 boxes which took 3/12 hours. It should have taken 2 hours maximum! CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!!

People only submit reviews when they are pissed at the service - SO DIFFERENT for my experience with Apartment Movers!!! They are the best. Apt. Movers has now moved furniture into and out of storage . . . And gingerly handled my antiques and possessions. I liked them so much, I have repeatedly recommended them to others and even underwrote a move for a couple I recently met. I HIGHLY recommend them when you want to move residences, offices or even items to storage.

This is a horrible company whom cares nothing about the customers or movers whom it employs. The wife aka (Nilz) is a fast talker and will say anything to get your business. She is also a racist and has made comments referring to black people as “ghetto”, when at least half of her paying customers are black. Several of her customers are very sketchy and lied to get discounts on their moves, in which she deducted from my company even though she knew the claims were questionable. She often push her employees to over book, expecting her movers to work miracles. This company doesn’t pay well (50%) of move in which causes the mover to not retain quality workers. I would suggest that anyone hiring this company do their research 1st and read through the reviews and take the ratings seriously. This is absolutely a 2 ⭐️ moving company. They will respond to this review disputing it but I have no reason to lie seeing how I’ve waited 3 weeks to post this. Terrible & racist company

The four guys with 2 trucks that conducted my move were excellent. I have used this company a few times and this time they again proved why this company is for the customer. The service they provided was above reproach when it came to customer service, professional manner, attitude, and the care for my belongings. This is the only company I would and will use when moving. I will recommend your company to my friends when they have a move to do.

They were fast, friendly and efficient. Finished everything on time. My mattresses got a bit dirty and greasy in the truck, so you might wrap yours in old sheets. But nothing got lost or broken. Much better prices than a lot of the companies around here, and since it was my second move with them, they have me a loyalty discount. Thanks guys!

Ive never used a moving company before and I was beyond satisfied. I didnt know where to start, they gave me 2 options and let me choose what worked best for me the hourly rate or exact moving price :). The price is more than reasonable! The only thing I had to worry about was opening the door for the movers. If I could give them a 0 I would. Not only did the person we spoke with originally mess up our reservations for delivery but the company charged my credit card twice. Its been almost a week since I called in and still no refund. They also nickle and dime you for every item that you decided to move. Apartment Movers also charged us $17 extra for using our credit card..doubt Ill get that money back since they charged us twice.I will say, the gentlemen who moved us were polite and fast..but they were sub contractors for Apartment Movers.Definitely will not be using them again.

Im not surprised that they have awful reviews. I didnt use them to move but they were relentless in calling and emailing. Even after I requested they stop calling and emailing. They followed up and asked why, I let them know I already scheduled a move with someone else. They said they could still give me a better price. I let them know its not all about price. It seems these people work on some type of commission. Watch out if you request a quote, they wont leave you alone even if you ask.

I had hired movers to help me with a move from AZ to FL. I did not reserve enough time and they were not able to finish loading my UHaul truck. I had to have the truck loaded that night and because I needed to get on the road and the lease to my apartment was up. I am nearly 60 years old and could not load the balance of items myself, I was stressed out! I called a couple of companies but no one could help. That was until I called Apartment Movers! They were able to send someone within an hour and the 2 movers that arrived were absolutely amazing. They got the rest of my items loaded and I was on my way! I highly recommended this company.

They are not a ethical company. They lie to you up front. Do not explain why they charging you in detail when you ask. They pass the phone in an attempt to get you off the phone. The workers did a good job but thw office personnel try to rip you off. Not a good company to do business with.

For your own safety, AVOID AT ALL COST.Worst business experience ever! Not just movers, but any services I have ever had. Do not even think of doing business with them.Day of move they called late to cancel and rescheduled it to next day. They would not take part of the bed because it was not on the list. Was not separate headboard, part of IKEA bed. Damaged everything.For no reason tried to physically fight us. Please, for your own safety, avoid at all cost.

Not even worthy of 1 star - dont waste your time. After no response to calls and emails about an incorrect contract being emailed to us (the to & from destination were the same) finally heard back the night before the move. Was scheduled for 12-5 time frame, at 3:50 after many calls on the day of the move - was informed that they couldnt get to us until after 6 pm. We had instructed them that we had somewhere to be at 7 when the move was scheduled. Communication is terrible.**Update, 9 MONTHS later.. they respond to Gods review with lies. I did pay a deposit, I did contact them by email and phone as soon as I received the order confirmation that had the wrong info. The lady I eventually spoke to told me that there was a system glitch and confirmed that they had the right address. This just more to show their terrible customer service.

I have scheduled a move today 05/12/17 and I had been given a 9am 12pm window. As of now it is 1:41 pm and no one has showed up. The management doesnt know where the driver are. The driver called me 40 min back saying that he will be there in 10 min, I am still waiting on his 10 min. Worst experience ever. All my mornings and afternoon is ruined. When it comes to taking money from us these scums are bang on time but when it comes to providing decent customer service they are all up on the air. Will never recommend anyone.U just lost 10 customersUpdate : called the driver AGAIN!!! at 1:53 and he said he is filling up the gas. Seriously?????

Lets be real for a minute. Nobody likes moving at all. It sucks. But these guys gave me an Exact Price and kept it. They showed up with a good attitude and got it done without breaking anything. You will get 2 professionals who are courteous punctual efficient and honest. They get there and get it done charge you the right price with no damages and no tricks or hidden fees .They moved me from a 3400 sq foot home to a 3000 sq ft townhome so dont let the word apartment fool you. Worst moving company ever in Dallas never trust them give me offer and they change it and charged me more than expected, i have issue with them until contact my bank to solve is, also one of the mover guy stopped unload until i made full payment what i know they have to finish their service to make the payment and he broke my living room table and when I talked to him he start saying f word to me, I called the office and they said we are sorry for that and we will refund $27 the deposit, oh really and they didnt and they refused to refund my money, also they charged me $24 more I dont know why, i payed the rest cash and they run $24 from my account and they dont want to explain for what and why they charge it, until I connected my bank and explain the issue, they still dont want to refun total of deposit $27 and extra charge $24.Never trust them and take there offersThey said we have experience for 40 years they dont have any idea what are they doingBad customer service and movingLair lair lair companyNot worth to use them and put your self in headacheZero star

Worst moving experience ever! Please stay away fom this company...We were supposed to be moved from either 12pm to 4pm. No one show up til almost 9pm! No one call to apologize that they were late and at 9pm when they show up, we had to help the movers with our stuff. (Reasons we had 2 kids ages 3 and 1.)The were tired and way pass their bedtime.Also our washer and dryer were damage in the process. We called several times and no help or solution was offered.I have read some of the messages they have reply saying they dont have record of people sounds irresponsible.I wish I can post pictures of the work order in case they use that bogus excuse. Once again stay away from this irresponsible company.

The movers came on time. Asked about expectation and where items are. Delivered and set up in a timely manner. Outstanding!

They ripped us off. Pays practically nothingCustomer was rude and didnt tip at all. The mgmt paid us $40 in gasoline and $20 for several hours of painful work.

We had the pleasure of having Rod and his colleague help us move today from Palmers at Las Colinas to a new house in Irving. We received a quality service and was amazed by how hard these men worked. I had to cancel my move because my lawyer and the police had to get involved because of some missing stuff at the house . I called the movers and they returned my deposit. RJ was really helpful and very understanding because of my situation. If you ever need to speak to someone at this place talk dont talk to any one but to RJ. She really got me out of a bind. Awful experience! I do NOT recommend Apartment Movers. I was scheduled to have a move with them (so I thought) today but instead, received a call yesterday afternoon to cancel as they were going to be too busy. I only received the call because I called them first to confirm, which at that point, I was told that I was on the books. HUGE inconvenience to find movers at last minute. DO NOT waste your time with this company!

I used The American Family and Apartment Movers for my recent move. They are very professional and contacted us immediately to visit with us at my home. The manager arrived on time for my Onsite and the movers as well. They quoted us a two day move. Which included packing the first day and moving with 3 men and 2 trucks the second day. They called twice prior to the move date to confirm the move appointment, which was nice. On the move day they called 30 minutes ahead of time to let us know they were on their way and they arrived exactly on time as promised. The guys that moved us were Scott, Victor, and Henry. They were strong, professional and all spoke fluent English. They finished our entire move in 2 days with no damages at all. They worked non-stop and were quite incredible. I have never seen anything like it. To put it into perspective, we ended up having to move our home twice in eight weeks. The first guys we hired (from another company with 250+ 5 star reviews) were a complete nightmare, super slow, and charged us additional charges and hours not mentioned in the initial contract. They also damaged thirteen of our large furniture items. The Apartment movers literally did the same move in *half* the time and price of the other guys and stuck with the first price given till the end. Do not hesitate to hire The Apartment Movers. You will not regret it. This team is phenomenal, polite, fast and highly professional. Thanks guys!!

Too expensive and rude management! 1x1 apartment from Richardson to Richardson move was over $250! On the bright side: the movers were professional, fast, and nice. This service is over priced and the manager is rude. When the movers told me that the head board and foot board to my bed would be an extra $20 each, I called the manager to tell her I didnt understand that the entire bed fram was not included when I selected bed frame. She just yelled over me about prices and told me I was too young and lucky to have chosen them to move with. I feel swindled out of my money! I still have to move my own head board, foot board, and tables!

Im helping my friend pack and getting everything ready for the movers today. Mind you they had set up the time frame from 12-5 of when they would arrive. So they had given us an estimate around to get here around 3. Were waiting and nobody is here yet so we call them at 4, he answers and says well theyll be there in 30 mins. Lie detector detect that was a lie ... because an hr has passed. So we call again and we actually get in touch with one of the movers. He says well we wont be there until 6!!! As Im typing this message its 6:40 and nobody is here yet or answering the phone. Not worth it && wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!!!

Worst Service! They were suppose to start my move at noon. They did not get there until 9:30 p.m. No one called to say they were running late and the office manager was beyond rude when I called to ask where were the movers. They finally finished at 3:30 a.m. They did not handle my furniture with care and they left my sofa on the patio and said they could not get it in the door. So my husband and I who are not movers had to bring the sofa in ourselves! They did not offer a refund, a partial credit nor an apology! Please do not use this company if you want a smooth moving experience!

Terrible. Didnt arrive within the 4 window...actually arrived 2 hours late. Movers were nice and tried very hard to move my things in a timely manner, but they said they were assigned a smaller trailer so not all my things could fit. They would have to make 2 trips.A lady called to follow up on my move to see how it went. I told them the movers were 2 hours late. Her response: Oh, well...sometimes theyll run over their time depending on the move. I told them they couldnt fit all my things in their truck. It was extremely late by the time they were done unloading, since they arrived so late...I was much too exhausted to lead them back, and let them back into my place, so they could move the rest of my things (which, wasnt a lot...but still, PAYING movers are supposed to make your MOVE easier). Her response: Oh, well let me talk to my manager and see what we can do to make this right....its been over a week now....still waiting for that call. Something tells me, Im not gonna get one.

I used Apartment Movers and found it to be an awesome service. I spent a couple dollars more than other quotes I received, but the peace of mind was worth it. Hopefully I dont have to move again soon, but if I do, I will go with the same company.

This is a borderline scam. I got a call from them at work, where they asked me what needed to be moved. Let me ask you... in a brief conversation, could you list every single item in your apartment? I do mean everything. When they came in, one of them counted up my boxes and said that I was over my limit. The boxes in question were about a cubic foot in volume, weighing a couple pounds. I also forgot to mention a dresser that had been tucked away in a closet for a year. The dresser was another $25, the tiny boxes $15. Of course Im not going to send them away now. So they get started, I go off about my business outside, then one yells to me that theyre done. I go back in the apartment and there are about 3 or 4 dozen items laying around. Were talking things like laundry detergent, an electric guitar amp, empty boxes left over from moving, etc. These were all small- to medium-sized but heavy items that didnt make sense to put in boxes themselves. I mean, hell, those items already have handles built right into them. They said they wouldnt touch them because they werent on the list. Oh, I should also mention that they charge you $10 inexplicably for using a credit card. Lastly, the two guys that did the move were very rude. You hire movers so you can take a bit of stress out of the whole situation, but they just ended up making it worse.

I would give them less than zero stars if I could. Absolutely horrible!!! STAY AWAY!!! The Woman who booking our reservations bragged about how professional they were and how good their movers were. LIAR LIES FAKE!!! We were given timeframe of 12-5. It is now 8. NO SHOW. We started calling at 4 and was told the drivers were on the way. Then we called again at 5 and no one answered the phone. My boyfriend went to office at 7 and no one was there although their website said they were open until 8. SCAMMERS!!!

The worst company ever do not waste your time or money fooling with these people they will overbook give you a appointment time if someone calls in with a move that cost more they will push you to the back. And they will not show up at the time they tell you thats if they even show up at all they will not give you a courtesy call letting you know what happen you calling in and when you called in to see whats going on they will tell you that the driver had an accident while he was on the way to you. Thats why they did not show up on time when they be on a move that cost more.
