I just called for some sort of ballpark estimate on a catalytic converter replacement. They seemed like they didnt care to do anything to help me over the phone. Even hung up on me when I called back with the engine info they requested. I run a business and dont have time to go carting my now noisy truck around town looking for a good place with a decent price or good service. Your attitude and lack of interest told me everything I needed to know.Instead I got the best 5 star service from Brothers Muffler and Radiator shop in Irving. Alex was more than helpful, and they gave me same day pick-up, repair, and drop-off service. And its done right. This is what I would offer if I had the same type of shop. If you like getting ripped off, this is the place for youif you like being told one price and then pay for another jacked up price, then this is the place for you. charged 60 for an oil change. theres no price of 60 dollars for an oil change. it says oil filter included. they charged me an additional 15 dollars for an oil filter. they tried to be nice and give a 20 dollar coupon. they are telling me I would have had a 100 dollar oil change? dont come here. dont step foot in here. I dont mind paying for the extra oil because I have a bigger car. but dont say I have a 39.99 oil change and then more than double it. come here if you like getting ripped off

Was visiting Irving to visit the parents and thought Id get car work done over the weekend. Based on my website input, Binoy was nice enough to email me personally and ask to reschedule to Friday morning from Thursday afternoon so that his welding guy would be there. While waiting for them to rehang my muffler, I saw one mechanic fix a mild body issue of a customer for free (he was there for something else) and saw another member of the sales team direct a customer to another store for an alternate battery recommendation, even though the customer intended to by a battery at the Midas. They fixed my muffler quickly, and even replaced my fender skirt for a small labor charge (I had brought my own replacement fender skirt). I highly recommend this store.

They forgot to clear the check engine light on my service, Then when I went to tell them this, the only mechanic who apparently can clear the code on cars had left for a test ride, which a half hour later, still hadnt returned. Unprofessional service here. Never take your car to a muffler shop for other service.

I have 5 cars that I have serviced at this location in Irving. Charles and his crew have worked on my various vehicles for more than 10 years. When we first moved here from Houston I tried a number of different oil change and auto repair places. The oil change places were fast but always tried to add more stuff not needed. I read the One Bad Review by Moham and IMO is totally bogus. I finally went to Midas after I went to several other places when I first moved here. I have been EXTREMELY SATISFIED. They do great work. They actually find the problem and resolve it. The price is fair and their work is PHENOMENAL. I continue to go to Midas for more than 10 years. I trust them with all my vehicles because my wife and kids drive, and I need professional and honest work. They do excellent work. You will be satisfied with their work.

Got axel done and picked car up and still knocking around Xmas so couldnt travel and went back and they ignored me after the one guy said they would look at it he said he has been there 26yrs but wanted me to not get the job done never went back called another store still out of the$$$

My car was towed to Midas after it broke down on the highway. They had it diagnosed and repaired quickly for a reasonable price. The manager was very friendly and he even gave me a ride home while I waited for my car to be repaired. I would recommend this Midas to anyone who is looking for a honest repair facility (I know they are hard to find).

Charles and the Indian gentleman at the front are thiefs... Asked how much an oil change was, “29.99”... at checkout they ring me up for 46.66. I questioned why the difference and he said I should have known it takes more oil than the price he said. Really?? In a time like this where businesses are slow, bad practice and stealing won’t get you by. Hope they learn their lesson..

I called around lunch time and made a last minute appointment for an oil change. I got here an hour before closing and they were able to get me in and out in what felt like 20 mins! (Other places always take 30+ minutes 😒). Charles was super friendly, and even though I came in close to closing he was more than happy to help! Definitely recommend this fast, friendly business.

Do not go to them for a brake job due to my car was towed several times back to there location cause my tire was coming off .They do not honor there warranty and dont give you all the paperwork for what they did to your car.You send me a link for which I cant locate to send you message that right there tells me you dont even care.

The Manager Kirk is untruthful, and unprofessional. My car repair was completed but their lift broke my car was stuck in the air on the rack for two hours, when I the Manager Kirk he attempted to lie and discredit the information his mechanic (that actually work on my car) gave me. When he realized he was backed into a corner he became accusatory and stared shouting at me.

My wifes break light came on when the temp was cold and would go off when it warmed up. Then it stayed on for longer periods of time. Took it to Midas in Irving on airport freeway where wed had the rotors replaced. They checked for leaks, topped it off and had me on my way in less than 15 minutes. GREAT FRIENDLY SERVICE! I had made an appointment.So be sure to do that.

Called and spoke to Charles to see if they could perform an oil change on a BMW. They said yes and asked if I had the filter as they may not have it in stock. I said I have both the oil and the filter. They charged me only $10 and saved the rest of my oil for me. A+ service! Much appreciated!

I called in to get an estimate for a repair and me not knowing anything about cars, Charles was very helpful and asked that I send a photo of the issue so that he could look at it. I sent it and he told me that he would have to get the part from the dealer and what it would cost and if I could have my vehicle there before 3pm that he would have it ready before the end of the day. Long story short, Charles is VERY helpful and experienced and will get the job done. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone and will continue to give him my service. I got ignored by a worker so I called inside the office some guy came out to look at my tire and went back in it’s now been 30 min. I don’t know if they had a tire for my car or if I’m getting any service Nobody’s talking to me I don’t know if it’s because I’m black or what update hit has now been 45 min

I called and got a quote and they honored it. The cost to fix my vehicle was lower than everywhere else and they even checked it out for free. My car was in out in under 2 hours. Im definitely going to be a loyal customer cuz my car sounds awesome now!

Honest and helpful. Surprised they were able to fix a car as old as mine.

I had very bad experience with them recently. One day I could see the ABS/VSC warning in the dashboard. They said it is break pads issue and replaced them and charged $200+. Next day I could see the same issue and they said it is ABS box issue and those has to be replaced. Break pads were fine even before it is replaced. But one thing I couldnt understand, why they didnt find out the real issue when dashboard clearly telling that. I cant trust them as I had to spend my $$$ unnecessarily.

Came to get a courtesy check around $25, mechanic was very knowledgeable and honest about the condition of the car.

Called them to see what would an exhaust leak cost and the mechanic or whoever on the phone was short and dry and didnt have a pleasant tone at all. Like annoyed I even asked what you should know.

I have been going to Midas since 2005 across the country. My first visit to any Midas in Texas area. It was easy to make the appointment for Full synthetic oil change - $49.99(with coupon) which includes 4 tire rotation. Well it was quite reasonable...i got the appointment via phone after 2 days. Owner is a nice fellow. Good time to chat with him while my cars oil was getting changed. Good that i got the slot during evening time - around 4:45 pm - so it was easy for me to come there. They charged $2.50 for shop supply which is okay but there is not much in terms of shop supply. But overall I am happy with the service - no pushy sales men and decent folks. Good place for oil change if you are around Irving TX.New edit/update Jan 2020Another Full synthetic oil change. Poorly manage, even after having the online appointment and reaching on time - one need to tell them I am here. All the information is already provided online but still asked to fill the paper work. Both the front desk people are just doing some other business so not much focus on customers. Took 1.5 hours to do the oil change with no inspection/no tire rotation. Even when it was mentioned during online appointment and on the paper. Well even after coupons - its almost $58 for this service which is not done completely. When i reminded them to do it, sorry we are getting late. You want to charge shop supplies even when there is no even drinking water in your shop.Sorry I will be avoiding this place in future.

Great customer service and good prices for an oil change. At Jiffy Lube I would pay about 80 dollars for an oil change, here it was around 50.

A legal robbery is done here. The receptionist asks the mechanic and they just utter a number and thats it. Thats the price. Caution: The guy at the reception charges people depending upon his mood. I was a regular customer here. Now, it feels so sad to say but theyve lost 2 of my friends including me. Recognize your true customers or you may not last long.

Ive always received great service here. Rather its simple things or more complex the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting area is fairly furnished they should definitely repaint it and change the ceiling tiles. Parking can be a pain. They have an open bay that does the quick type jobs oil changes, batteries, etc. Other than that youll definitely need an appointment because theyre in high demand. Ive had my battery changed here and they fixed an exhaust leak that was causing me to fail an emissions test. They also diagnosed some electrical issues with some censors however being that they arent detrimental to the vehicles performance or longevity I left it alone.

Just needed an oil change first time ever going last time ever I Google this place because I needed an oil change to my car I already bought the oil just needed the man work the guy i spoke over the phone he said a different price when I got there gave me a a little higher on the price (NOTE: website says a different price just to change the oil in man work) and then turns out that they couldnt do it even though he only had two customers waiting and two guys outside I told him we can wait but after that I just didnt want to I dont recommend this place at all the parking even is terrible and very small to actually try to get out of

Loved these guys! They were so honest. I took my car in for an exhaust leak (I had made an appointment before hand) and he didnt think theyd be able to do it that day since I took it in at 5...but it was a small leak and they were able to repair it for $50! I was there less than an hour. He mentioned that if Id taken my car to somewhere that didnt weld (like a dealership) they wouldve charged me $1500 to replace the whole system instead of just welding it. Save your money and go here! They are great here and very kind!!

This place has taken great care of my daughters car. We are over a thousand miles away so we cant help with her car problems but this Midas has been helpful, kind and trustworthy.

This place lacks any sense of good customer service. I went in to fix the distributor on my car. They fixed it, and I thought we were fine. Less than 3 days my car broke down again, and I called Midas and they did not help when clearly whatever they fixed was not properly fixed. Then the next week my car broke down again I called Midas and their representative claimed that I had self-diagnosed my car, and they had fixed what I told them to fix. I took my car in and they are supposed to do the diagnoses not me. Rude representatives, poor customer service, and worst of all were not efficient fixing the problem.

I have been in the customer service industry for most of my life. And quite frankly, it is how a business handles an issue (complaint,) that shows its true core values. The most impressive thing is that they fixed a huge customer service issue that was not their fault. The body shop that had been working on my car sat on the car for weeks before sending it to MIDAS for the final alignment. Once the team found out I needed my car to meet an obligation I made with my oldest daughter, they went to work and got things done lightning fast despite being short handed. I must give a huge shout out to Ken, Ramon, and Charles. Those guys know how to run a business and take care of their clients, and even though we all knew it was not their fault, they didnt point fingers, they just jumped into action. And last but not least, I was extremely impressed with Mr. Brett Foster (regional manager.) He immediately took ownership and helped make sure his team had the tools they needed for success. They have made a loyal customer out of me!

I had a good experience with this Midas. They fixed my brakes for less than another quote and honestly assessed that I needed less work done than was suggested. The were also timely.

*Long Review (Please read before you take your car over there)I went there to do my oil change, which is a short time work and also made my appointment before, because they said they stay busy and booked most of the time. So, after I went, I was waiting to get my maintenance done, so that I could leave, cz I also had to go to work. I went there at 10am. But 2 hours still,, no trace of getting it done, my car was still on jacks. Around 12pm, they came to talk to me that, the housing of the filter got broke and needs to be replaced (which they said my previous oil change station might did or Midas they might broke, while opening). I got pretty surprised, because I been other shops or stations all the time, but never heard of breaking the housing of that part nor had this kind of problem either. After that, an hour passed still said they are working on it. I went to a nearby place for a bit and when I came back, I saw engine oil all over that place underneath of my car. They said, the housing didnt sealed up with the bew housing and the part is torn, which is the gaskelator of that part, which hold the oil filter and the oil, which needs to be replaced and since its a new car, the part isnt available in any nearby dealer, which is toyota, and this part needs to be ordered, which is rarely happens, cz this part doesnt get damaged. So, my car wont be ready that day. Ok, then I talked with them, left without the car and asked them to drop me to my home and which they did, which was 3 or 4 mins drive. The next day I called them, from the morning they said the same thing every time I called that, they are still working on my car. End of the day, when I called them and asked finally will they be able to deliver or finish up my car, they said no,, they cant and it was Saturday, and Midas is closed on Sundays. They said, theyre gonna finish it up on Monday and will be able to give my car. (Before I took ny car to them, my car was running smooth, no problem at all, and I did all my maintenance on time)I went on Monday morning to check the progress of my car, still they were working, because there were no oil pressure which could run the engine, so, they had to replace from that old housing or part. Which took the whole day. They finished the work at the end of that day, before they closed the store. I took delivery of the car, but the problem I faced later that, my ac wasnt working, I opend the front hood of my car and the fan of the radiator wasnt even rolling, so, I dont know what they did, with my car, before I took my car to them, everything was working, now its a whole mess, I dont know, what else is coming, but before you take it to qny shop to do any service, make sure they know what theyre working on and they are also qualified, otherwise, you will also face the same thing what I faced. I dont usually give any low rating to any store, but this time, I didnt had any option. They wasted my whole week and time. (For info, my car is a new 2017 car and they dont know, how to work on the new cars, every new car taken to that place, they messed up something)

Charles is the man! But he needs to educate his team on being more diligent in finding solutions. I came in because of a strong gas smell and to have an oil change done.The mechanic completed the oil change and then told me he couldnt find any leaks causing the smell and the car was ok. The smell was so strong, it was far from ok. I had to bring up the problem to Charles the owner who suggested I leave the car. Very disappointed.Took the car to my primary shop because they had an opening, and they diagnosed it and ordered the part on the spot.Will stick with my primary from now on. They are always booked for a reason.

Older male gave me a ride home and kept asking me out to eat. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Housing for air filter was loose and the clips that were supposed to hold it down were not there. Also, I had mentioned to them to fix my roters or brake pads since my car had been vibrating when I hit the brakes and instead they replaced to tire rods and the vibrating continued. Ill just never go back. If youre a female that will be needing to leave the car over night and will need a ride home, call an Uber or have someone go with you if you so choose to give these guys your business.

Worst service ever, they dont know how to work, specially on the new cars. They will mess up your car.

So bad experience. Took my car to that shop for a 2 tires mounting and ended up with the rear bumper scratch. Of course they reject the damage wouldve been done there. if despite this, you decide to take your car there, take lots of pictures of the conditions you hand it off. Also elude Ken...what a short temper dude
