I had a bad wheel bearing that they replaced hub and bearing for me. About 1000 miles later the wheel assembly nearly fell off in a roundabout, collapsing into the quarter panel and causing body damage. The lower ball joint was intact and just popped out with threads intact, indicating the mechanic either forgot the nut or didnt put the cotter key in and the nut eventually fell off. Long story short, repair costs to fix their work cost me twice the cost of the original work

These guys do a great job! Ive taken my car here twice and both times I was provided great customer service. On both occasions I got my car back the same day I dropped it off! Tired too balance 4 large tires on my Hummer, but they were too heavy. They balanced them as best they could. They charged me NOTHING, not even for labor, car is running much better. HONESTY is priceless. I wouldnt have known the difference. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They give me sound advice when it comes to needing new tires to replacing the air filters or brakes. They take care of my routine maintenance like oil changes. Replaced a Canister Purge Valve Solenoid. These guys are the ‘BOMB’. They are friendly, knowledgeable, honest, dependable, AND affordable. They don’t do unnecessary repairs and ALWAYS ensure you understand what they are doing and how much it will cost before doing the repairs. Don’t tell anyone, but they even did a quick seatbelt adjustment for free. They were recommenced to me by another senior citizen and I have recommended others, including my granddaughter. I trust these guys without reservation.

I have driven 30 miles round trip for ten plus years to use Ricks Automotive on Irving Blvd for all my auto repair needs. Today I drove my 2014 Ford F-150 pick up to get a loud noise from the front end of my truck when I make a slow turn looked at. Ricks mechanic did a thorough check of my trucks front end and found a minor issue with a couple loose bolts that were causing the problem. He looked my truck over for the better part of an hour. When I asked how much I owed. Brian told me nothing. On the house. I cant say enough about Ricks on Irving Blvd. They will never do work that is not needed. How rare is that. If you want an honest and dependable automobile repair shop, go to Ricks. You wont be disappointed and you wont be ripped off.

Great service!!! Honest and professional! I didnt pass my state inspection because my brake pedal was going to the floor, other company was telling me I had a break fluid leak and my master cylinder had to be changed. That was going to cost me over $400. I asked them to check for this and they let me know I only needed brake pads, I had no leak. The cost for this was significantly less. I took my car back for a reinspection and passed. I am sooo grateful. I had just spent a lot getting a new transmission. I definitely recommend Ricks Tire & Auto Service! Hard to find places you can trust nowadays!

Went there because my low tire pressure light came on and it scared the heck out of me. After checking it out, they told me why it got low (apparently, the cold saps the air in the tires away slowly). Thank goodness for no punctures. They even filled it back up for free!! Didnt try selling me unnecessary things. If youre looking for an honest auto shop, this is your place!!

Damaged the oil drain pan plug by over tightening on our 2011 Audi A3 and expected us to pay for labor to replace the damage caused by their techs. $376.00 Store Director Richie Martins fix was to use a bigger drainplug bolt to solve issue .Used Ricks for all my other vehicle maintenance .Never again since we have never received any response or restitution for the damage caused by their service center. Would not recommend their services for vehicle maintenance as simple as an oil change.

And I can honestly say, every work theyve done on my truck Ive never taken it back because it wasnt done right the first time. They do the job and do it right. Ive known them for over 10 years. Just a fantastic place to do business with. I took my truck In recently thinking it needed alot of work done. They came back and told me what it needed. The staff is customer service oriented and worked diligently trying to duplicate the issue we had experienced. Ultimately, the problem did not resurface for the staff during their testing. I appreciated that they did not charge for the diagnostic effort; they only requested that we come to them again when/if the issue returns. I thought I had a difficult problem for them to fix, because I had taken my truck other places that treated the problem as if it were too difficult, too time consuming, and too expensive to fix. They wouldn’t even look at it! But Rick’s treated my problem as if it were no big deal at all. And it was done in less than 24 hours - even knowing I was not in a big hurry. It was my first visit at Rick’s. But based on that first impression, they are the best! I really appreciated how positive and accommodating they were.

Excellent service and after the initial inspection of my truck, they told me exactly what would be needed to get it back on the road. They also suggested other maintenance items and said they dont need to be done now, no pressure.

I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else!My only issue is I always took my car to Rick’s off Irving blvd. because I didn’t realize the Rick’s Tire Pros on Beltline rd. was the same business, but I’m glad I found them. Richie at Beltline rd. is awesome and friendly. He always remembers his customers.My suggestion is:CHANGE THE TIRE PROS SIGN so people know it’s the same company and they provide ALL SERVICES not just tire service.

I am really hoping they did what they said they did. I was not happy with the cost seemed way over priced. I dont mind paying money for good service, but after researching some other places, I feel, I paid double in Labor. I even called the Ricks Auto on Irving Blvd and he told me it sounded high but without the ticket he could not tell me what exactly was done. The other thing a diagnostic was completed, That in ot self seemed to be way to high. Let it be known this is the second time Ive used them. First time they left my truck with grease stains, told me theyd pay for a detail if Id go get it done bring them the receipt then when I brought them the receipt they told me oh we dont know how to get to the petty cash. So they offered to do a free oil change on my sons car Ford Focus. The detail cost way more then the oil change. This time they charged over 500.00 for what they say a 2017 Chevy Traverse needed a thermostat. Not really sure why the Labor time was doubled or close to. I know they are going to have a rebuttal but I paid it but itll be the last time I ever go this location.
