I had a fender bender in my 2019 Honda Ridgeline. This happened in mid May. Around May 17th. I took my truck to this shop because I purchased it from David McDavid, with the lift kit and tires as shown in the photo. Amica has paid the claim for the work. Enterprise gave me a rental for a month. We are now going into month number 3 three and I am still without my Ridgeline. The story has been the electronics. These body shop professionals have not been able to calibrate the electronics back to factory standards. Every time I call to check on my truck I am told they are close but needs a little more time. I was even told the GM of the dealership was going to call me and it’s been over a week.To say I am tired is a joke. 3 months and I’m still waiting on my truck to be deliveredgggg

I was in a fender bender and David McDavid Collision Center made the whole process of repairing my car a breeze. Very helpful and professional. Coordinated with Enterprise rent-a-car to pick me up and take me to the Enterprise location to pick up my rental upon me dropping off my car for repairs. They kept me updated and communicated with me during the repair process even sending me pictures of the repairs they were doing, and kept me in the loop in their communication with the insurance company when they found additional items that needed to be replaced that had not initially been listed on the repair quote. When I went to pick up my vehicle they made 100% certain that I was satisfied and pleased with the work and repairs they had done. Troy was who I dealt with when dropping off my car and Brendan was who I dealt with when picking up my car. Both were very professional. Brendan went above and beyond with customer service and really made it a great, memorable customer experience. If I am ever in need of any services they offer again, David McDavid Collision Center Honda will be my first and foremost choice. I highly recommend and I would feel 100% assured sending any of my family or friends there and know they would be well pleased with the service they receive.

Do not trust their online appointments, they will tell you first that you are not in the system, once you show them confirmation they punch ctrl keys twice then your. confirmation will appear but still they will put you back in the schedule since they know that you already confirmed with insurance all confirmations etc. anyhow I do not recommend anyone this location.

Todd was amazing! I was rear ended, but he very quickly and efficiently told me the damage and time it would take for repairs. He kept me updated with the delays due to insurance, and worked fast. Excluding the delay with insurance, car was ready to go in 2.5 days!

Outstanding experience. Not at fault accident. Insured with Geico. Took our Honda to David McDavid Collision and was very apprehensive about having paint work on our new vehicle. Result is incredible craftsmanship and quality. Cannot tell anything has been done to this vehicle, not in the shade or the sunlight. Perfect. I highly recommend this collision center for auto paint job, body work etc. Extremely satisfied!!!

I am so glad I chose David McDavid Collision Center for the body work on my car. Thomas Barbre and the team there did a great job on my car. I had some significant gashes on the drivers side door. They not only did a super job in painting and blending the door with the rest of the car, but they also washed the car inside and out. When I picked up my car, I felt like a had a new car again.

I drive a 2018 Honda Accord Touring and my baby got a hit on high way by a little plastic piece. I really love my car so I trying to take care of it by coming out here from mesquite. After having not so nice of an experience I talk to Walter who was amazing. He took the extra step to look at my car and even get on his knees to exam it. Made me feel a lot better of what happened. Really nice and caring guy! Also, the service desk clerk and the office manager were supper friendly and nice as well. Really excited to get my car fix here! 👍🏽

I dont recommend this place at all. They kept my car for almost a month to fix hail damages and i call several times to ask if my SUV was ready and they told me someone will return a call with more updates and never did until it was ready. They gave me my car with a lot of scratches. Supposedly that work was for 4 days and took them almost a month to fix it. The person that help me was very nice but i wont take any car again to this place again. I just noticed that my fog lights are not working.

I had the pleasure of working with Todd, who helped me fix my new Accord following an unfortunate event with a pole. He was very up front about everything, explained what he would do and how long it would take, and he even helped me ever so slightly with filing a claim with my insurance and getting my rental car. Great customer service, AND my car looks brand new again. Can’t even tell I got into an argument with a pole! I definitely recommend this business.

I went in for an estimate on my front passenger door paint damage. Tony greeted & assisted me promptly. After explaining the damages to him he took my vehicle around back to have it shined so that he can further assist me with an estimate. Less than 30mins later Tony returns with my vehicle & a smile. He then said take a look at it. I looked & couldnt stop smiling because the guy in the back basically fixed the problem with whatever he did to shine the vehicle. I was so thankful. Of course they didnt charge me so i couldnt resist leaving a tip.

I appreciated the sales manager and the finance managers dedication to selling me my new vehicle. My only concern is that the turn over rate seems to be high, so it is difficult to lasting relationships for future business purposes.

The quality of the work was great, the staff were fine. My only problem is it took twice as long to fix my car as they said it would, they told me 4 weeks at the most, it ended up being 7 weeks. I felt like i was just told 3 or 4 weeks when i first brought it in there to get my business. I have delt with a lot of body shops in the past, and it just dont take as long as they took. If you tell someone about how long its going to be it should be close to that time, not 3 or 4 weeks later.

I wish I could give them a 0. After I got rear ended, I immediately found this place to do the repairs. They got me in very quickly which I was pleasantly surprised but it was all downhill from there. While getting the repairs done to the back of my car, I asked if they could get me an estimate to fix my door from when it had gotten keyed awhile back. Trying to get them to send the estimate was like pulling teeth. After several emails and phone calls to Tony with no response, I finally got a manager to send me the estimate. They were HORRIBLE about keeping me up to date with the progress of my vehicle and even the day it was supposed to be picked up, I HAD TO CALL THEM FOR AN UPDATE! They cant even be bothered to call me to tell me my car is ready....I paid in full and was beyond happy to be done with that whole process and have my car back. Its now been 2 months and they randomly called me and said I owe $300 more for something THEY forgot to process originally....DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE IVE EVER WORKED WITH! Do not be fooled by their empty promises at the start of the process because theyve proven they cant deliver on them.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I hate to write a bad review but this was well needed. I brought in my 2017 Honda Civic with minor damage, not a crazy accident or anything. At first everything seemed okay I was told I was going to get my car back in 2-3 weeks (I was given a rental car). During these weeks we were never updated with the condition of my car and were just left to wait for a call. Finally, we decided to just call during the third week and they finally told us it was almost ready, the paint just needed to dry. No problem. So we got our car back and that is when we noticed all the imperfections and how badly the body shop messed up my car. First problem, there was scratches on the window (from the inside of the passenger seat). Second problem, the inside panel where the window is was also scratched up. Third, the pin strips on the car was missing a good chunk. Lastly, the blind spot mirror was also damaged as it would shake whenever you close the door (which never happened before as the car is new). They took my car in for about another week to fix these problems which was very inconvenient. The mirror still shakes whenever I close the door and they simply told me to claim it with the warranty. Very disappointed, I should have gone somewhere else if I knew it was going to be this bad. No apology, no nothing.

I drive a Honda, so I figured taking my vehicle to a Honda collision center made sense. I guess I was wrong. After having my car for over 2 weeks and charging me over $1500, they didn’t complete the work. I made it a block from the location to realize a piece of my undercarriage was hanging off. After further inspection, a splash shield I paid to have replaced and fixed, wasn’t replaced at all. According to them a technician (because blame a single worker) just pushed the damage piece back under my vehicle and hoped it would stay. The pin hole that would hold the piece in place had broken in the initial damage, the damage I brought my vehicle to them to fix. Instead of replacing the piece, they charged me for a new piece and used the damage piece hoping it would hold up. How it made it through their quality check is also beyond me. Safe to say I will never be using David McDavid Collision Center again.

Collision Center does not honor warranties. Hood and roof of car was repaired but the paint has started peeling after 5 years. After confirming warranty over the phone with technician. On bringing vehicle technician refuse to honor warranty. And also didnt even offer an estimate to repair.

Horrible at Customer Service, The Service manager Antonio Martinez (Tony) is awful at providing information, Their Repair tracker will not provide the updated status, They wont even call or respond to you if there is any delay in the process. It took more than a week for my car just to fix the scratches on the bumper. I wont ever go there or recommend it.

Slow to Honor Warranty and Accept LiabilityDavid McDavid Collision Center in Irving, TX. performed the repairs in Oct 2016 after my son ran over an animal and damaged his bumper and the undercarriage of his 2013 Honda Civic. Two months later, in December 2016, the repaired undercarriage of the car failed while on a trip to Houston and began to drag the ground. I immediately contacted the Irving Collision Center that had performed the initial work and shared what had occurred. The service advisor, JQ, asked me to take the car to their affiliate in Houston to get the part corrected. To reduce additional damage, I had the car towed to the local facility. After a series of conversations with the local facility, and later after speaking directly with JQ, he informed me that the collision center in Irving was not going to honor the warranty, and suggested we had caused what they referred to as “new damage”. Left with no other options, I contacted my insurance company to investigate the original repair. Thankfully, my insurance company was able to identify evidence which supported my claim. Only after the investigation did the David McDavid Collision Center of Irving, TX honor their warranty and authorize their affiliate to repair the undercarriage. As a woman, I felt taken advantage of by the collision center. Based on the level of service that I received, the quality of workmanship performed, the character of the organization, and more importantly, the harm their negligence could have brought to my family, I will NEVER use this collision center again.

I went with my sister to pick up her car after they called and advised her it was ready for pick up. When we arrived 2 days later, they claimed they never called her because they didnt complete the quality check. I felt this was ironic becuase the car was located in the finished area so the qc should have been completed. The issue that I have is with the customer service. Initally when the guy realized my sister was there he immediately said he didnt call her. He wasnt rude, however, it seemed as if he wanted to go out his way to prove no one called her to pick up the car. He asked earlier and later in the conversation. He even went as far as asking for the number that called her. He should have just moved on and apologized for the confusion. Instead he wanted to be a PI and it was 90 degrees outside during this useless conversation. I wouldnt recommend using the collision center. Their customer service isnt as up to standard as Vandergriff.

My complaint is regarding the Geico adjuster there. He doesnt keep his promises to customers. He told me that he’d keep me updated on the status throughout the process, yet I’m the one who did the calling, and when I did call, he was always defensive. I always called an hour before he was set to leave, which gave him more than enough time to update me as he promised that he would. So, I’m not sure why he was so upset.During our initial conversation, he said that he should wrap things up around the same time the next day (Tuesday), if not sooner.I called about an hr before that deadline on Tuesday and was told that they hadnt even started working on my car! I was told that I’d have a response by 1:30 p.m., so I called them after not hearing from them a bit after that. They still werent done. This is probably when they told me a story about them FORGETTING that they were supposed to work on one or two cars before mine. Not sure if that’s true, but if it is, that’s not good. How do you forget about your customers? They called back a few hours later and said that they did an exterior review and figured an initial estimate, but need to take the car apart and see if theres more internal damage and also wait for the valuation, which will take 24-48 hrs.I called the next day (Wednesday), around the same time, same thing, waiting on a response. I called the next day (Thursday), same thing, waiting on a response. This time, I explained the urgency and he said that hed contact the third party that handles the valuation and call me back that same day. Of course, he didnt call.When I went back to the center to get my belongings, he mentioned that my car was the lowest mileage total loss that hed handled. Hes very insensitive. To top it off, he wouldnt extend the car rental past five days to allow the GAP insurance company to complete the payout and allow a bank to even allow me to get another car. Geico said that he could have done this. He just chose not to. Hopefully, youre not involved in a crash, but if you are, I wouldnt take it to this location or wherever my adjuster works. His last name is Creer.
