Purchased Palisade with Freeman Hyundai recently, They are best in business. Price negotiation was easy and very fair. Sales rep was very friendly and provided updates frequently. As the supply of the Palisade was short had to do paperwork first and get the vehicle delivered later. Overall, I am very pleased with the service so far!

Had an EXCELLENT experience here. I would go so far as to say its the smoothest I have ever had. Sales was Kirk S, Finance was Rodney K. I was in and out in maybe 30 minutes and it was a very straight forward and laid back experience. Rodney did of course offer everything I might need as a complete solution, none of which fit my needs in this particular case, and was very smooth in transitioning on because I declined. Kirk was knowledgeable and ready to assist with any questions I had. This dealership is just over an hour away from me and if saying I will deal with Dallas traffic to purchase any future vehicles here does not vouche for them I do not know what will.

Kudos to Jim Pilarski. I mistakenly called this dealership in an attempt to contact another one. I spoke to Jim prior to realizing my error. Jim was very pleasant and understood when I informed him of my mistake. He called me and texted me over the next few days to make sure I was on track with my car. He even made sure I was aware that my vehicle had arrived at the dealership. While I was not technically Jims customer, I appreciate his wonderful customer service. Wish I could post a success story. Found the car I wanted while still in transit. Was willing to pay MSRP on a fully loaded Santa Fe. They would not even consider not adding on extras. Will not give my business to a dealer so greedy they want more than MSRP was profit add ons. Possibly another salesperson would have been better but the one I had would not even consider meeting halfway with the add ons. Keep the car. Plenty of dealers in the metroplex willing to enjoy MSRP and a quick sale before paying weeks of carrying interest.

Mr Larry is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Granted I knew what I wanted when I walked through the door, but he sat and had a real human interaction which is hard to come by nowadays. We laughed, hugged, and it was just overall great because of him!! Hes followed up with me a few times. This place is not where you want to place your trust! They are still practicing the old“Bait & Switch” philosophy to maximize their earnings. They are fully taking advantage of the current situation and they don’t really care about you, only your money and how the make more.Of course they are not the only ones, but I would look around and do my research about the honest dealers out there and give them my business. These people are not!Here the response from their manager:“ Mr. Nifco: Because of the shortage of Hyundai inventory you were given misinformation and I am sorry for that and apologize for any inconvenience.”Misinformation meaning lies to lure me in!!Shame on them. Use my experience as a learning one.What do you know, after my review the owner tried to make it better on social media by posting a lame excuse. Well, guess what?4 days later, an amazing person at James Wood Hyundai, not only got me the exact car I was looking for but the exact deal I needed. We are very pleased to purchase our Hyundai from Freeman. In 41 years, we have owned many new vehicles, not to mention used, but this is our first Hyundai. It was a fluke that we stopped in to check out a Hyundai, really expecting to NOT be impressed. Freeman provided a positive experience and gave us top dollar on our trade in. Most of all, we love the new Elantra, being pleasantly surprised at the quality and how it handles on the road.

Our family went there to test drive the SUV. The front receptionist was nice but called a sales man over. The sales man named Jim was extremely rude. He told us that the dealership is closing in 20 minutes and we cant test drive any cars. We are in our 40s. We have bought many cars in our life, encountered many sales people. Never once have we been told we cannot test drive a car because he is in a rush to go home. It leaves a really bad feeling and experience. I am sure there are many different Hyundai dealership. But I will never ever come back to tell anyone to come to this because of how rude the sales employee is.If you are closing your dealership before posted time, then you should put a close sign and send your employees home.

Best in class service. Hassle free delivery of my new vehicle purchase. On time delivery and maximum support. I personally had interaction with Mr. Jim who is also the internet sales manager and Mr. Rodney King who is the finance manager at Freeman, they both are great. Made my purchase as smooth and possible. Jim is a great sales person and the respond time to answer all your queries is exceptional. Rodney made my financing for the vehicle as easy and smooth that it can be. I personally liked my overall experience buying my first vehicle from Freeman Hyundai. Might seem long, but absolutely true story as of yesterday: 12/05/2020. After a long stay in Europe, I went on the market for a new car: no trade-ins, nothing. As a recent resident of Arlington, TX, I went (as suggested by google maps) to Vandergriff, apparently a bigger dealership in the region: it was busy, a little bit of a rush, not that much explanations and no alternative suggestions offered to the model (mind you I was buying a present for my hubby) I first inquired of. Good deal (2K down/319 Mo/60mo, good deal for a 2021 model. As a regular shopper, of course I went to the next dealership suggested on my google maps: Forth Worth: Free Nations: nothing to go into details, rude and aggressive at 2K down/350 a mo/60 mo the sales guy made me feel as I I wanted to steal the car and his children are going to starve on Christmas. Third stop ( of course google maps again): Freeman Hyundai. As we approached the door an extremely courteous and polite young salesman, William, approached me and my friends and asked us if we have an appointment, which we did not. He still welcomed us. First impression, very competent, without even asking, he explained to us (especially to me-never even tried to understand that before) the difference in terms of a car value between what we call finance and lease; he asked me what I am looking for; how much I am willing to put down and of course pay monthly. I told him, with no role-playing what I wanted, he called the Director of Finances-I told him my recent offer and he said he would see if he could match it, even do better, no aggressiveness, super polite, extremely pleasant experience with some free complimentary water, coffee etc. He came back in less than 5 min and he said he would be able to do it (+I got the color (bonus) I wanted). I told him if it was not the pandemic, I would have hugged him. Shopping experience should be pleasant and make you feel good-these guys absolutely did that for me. Dont assume, as I did, that smaller, which they are absolutely not if you take a look at their online inventory, dealerships cant get you the the best offer :)

I consistently have taken my vehicle to the dealer for service since I purchased it because I can depend on them to tell me what is needed and nothing more. My time is valued and I dont spend more time than necessary with or without an appointment. They remember who I am and my car is always washed and vacuumed. The service is always top-notch. Went in for a scheduled appointment (appt was scheduled 3 weeks in advanced) for recall repair for my Genesis. No one in service had any idea about the scheduled appointment and the reason provided as that the appointment reminders are auto generated and Freeman doesn’t have the part available to service the recall. Makes no sense why schedule an appointment when you don’t have the part or even a decency to call and notify regarding lack of replacement part availability in advance. Again, the dealership sent out reminder for servicing the recall appointment via email and text. To all Genesis owners please don’t take your car for recall that’s been issued by Genesis to Freeman Hyundai Genesis in Irving, Texas. This recall is safety related and issue is reported to NHTSA as well. I don’t think this dealership is ready to service recalls on Genesis. For sales they can sell Genesis but for servicing Genesis products they are not ready yet.

I took my car to Freeman Hyundai in the hopes of receiving quality service, with the convenience of being near the airport. I commute between New York and Texas as a virtual educator during this pandemic. I was greeted by Anthony who seemed nice enough, and I let him know all of the issues my car was having (shifter not engaging, a small electrical issue regarding my radio, and a slow leak in my rear tire). My car was due for service, so I added this information on top of selecting a service package that seemed fairly priced. Anthony informed me that he was new to Freeman, but I didn’t think twice about this information, I was happy to be one of his first clients. I left my car at Freeman on Friday and went to New York with a plan to return the following Saturday, ample time to repair my car. Anthony did not make contact with me a single time this week, I had to call numerous times to check the status of my car. He let me know that none of the repairs would be covered under my warranty (Both CPO and Powertrain). He quoted me a price and said my car would be complete upon my return. I found it hard to believe nothing would be covered under my warranty, as my car only has 28,000 miles on it, so I contacted Hyundai myself, they let me know Anthony gave incorrect information. I decided to return to get my car as I didn’t feel comfortable allowing them to provide the repairs I knew would be covered under a warranty, on top of the poor communication and integrity. When I returned to the tire pressure light was still on my car when Anthony went out of his way to assure me my tire was repaired! I was so annoyed by this, the manager ended up assisting with this issue and getting my tire patched, but the whole time the office kept making comments and jokes “Oh, Anthony!” “freaking Anthony!”, like this was the norm. I paid for the service and never looked back, Anthony never followed up and hopefully doesn’t still work here. Everyone else on the team seemed kind and competent as they fixed his mess, but this experience wasn’t anything anyone should go through. Steer clear, and head to Bob Stalling Hyundai (My car was completely covered under warranty, they gave me a brand new loaner vehicle, and the communication was immaculate).

Received a recall notice in the mail so I decided to make the drive and use Freeman Hyundai in Irving as Ive had bad experience with autonation in North Richland Hills which is much closer. Scheduling an appointment was easy via online. I arrived a little early for my appointment and was greeted by service advisor ken. He was courteous and I arranged to have him call me when work is completed as the engine needed an inspection due to a recall on rod bearings. After inspection was complete ken called and let me know my engine was fine and not affected by the faulty rod bearings. Then he started to list off completely unnecessary maintenance items. The vehicle has 81k miles on it and I always use the car manufacturers maintenance schedule. When I let ken know those things are not due and were unnecessary and that I use the manufacturers maintenance schedule his attitude completely changed. Ken was not so courteous and was hoping to gouge me for $933 in unnecessary maintenance cost. Typical dealership. 🙄 Same issues I had with autonation.

Weird visit and was lied to about a new vehicle (Palisade SEL) being available. Called up and spoke to Lou and was told that the vehicle I was looking for was available and not currently being sold. I asked if it could be held any sort of way, it would take me an hour and a half to get there, and was told no. After arriving an hour and half later, Lou said that he would have to find the car as he believes it was in the repair shop cause the fuel door was missing. After a bit of time he comes back and tells me it was sold and asked if I wanted to the lower trim model (SE) instead. I left and he called me 10min later saying they just had the calligraphy trim version come off of reserve due to customer waiting too long. This trim, or the limited, was what my wife really wanted but are scarce and was settling for the lower trim. I asked Lou for the price and info and he said he would have to call me back as he didn’t have it in front of him. Waited an hour and never heard back so I texted him. LSS, I decided to look elsewhere and not come back due to his poor communication, wasting of my time, feeling of deceit, and overall uninviting feeling. I understand that cars can sell fast but a simple call, text, email or being upfront with me when I arrived would have been the right thing to do. Not the experience you’d expect for buying a new car. Place seems to have great reviews and hopefully your experience will be different than mine.

She drove the car out to my house so my son and I could test drive it and even brought me the paperwork to sign. Over several months in 2020, I received multiple recall noticeson my Tucson via mail and email. Scheduling the service with Freeman Hyundai was not too difficult; just had to schedule almost a month in advance. I delivered the vehicle at the appointed time (12/21/20) and returned later to pick it up. At that time I was told the work could not be done as they lacked the necessary part. They stated they would call me soon when they had the part (in a few days). As of 2/20/21, I have received no calls. I called them a couple weeks ago to inquire, but the woman on the phone sounded perturbed that I had awakened her from her nap to bother her. She was impolite, unresponsive, unconcerned, and unhelpful. She said she did not know what I should do or how I could get the service performed, and the only person I could speak to for help was Corporate.

Bought a 2020 Elantra N Line from here last month. The whole experience was really great. Easy to deal with, no strong arm sales tactics and the price was lower than any of the other places I looked (and I was researching for months). Lauren made the whole process painless and they were quick and upfront about repairing a door dent made prior to my purchase. My check engine light came on and the car started acting up. I had taken it to a mom-and-pop shop that had wasted my time and tried to scam me. Herb was quick, thorough, and did not badger me to do more than I was comfortable with. Really dissapointed with this dealership and wish I would have been more thorough with my inspection of the vehicle. I dont know if I was swindled (sold a broken car on purpose) or if it was something that was just missed on accident by the dealerships inspection, but either way it doesnt matter.What really makes me upset is that the manager I spoke with tonight refused to do anything about it and went a step further by trying to talk down to me. He said things like are you just upset because youre not getting the answer you want to hear? and I just had to leave when he began to insinuate I was a liar, saying I have a hard time believing you have driven around DFW and not noticed an issue till now. (I work from home and dont drive much)Never EVER been treated like this by a dealership before. Im honestly kind of shocked, especially given its rating on here. The last dealership I bought a car from, David McDavid in Frisco, had no problem rectifying a similar situation to this one. Really never experienced anything like it.They really are not about to do anything it seems and are quite satisfied that selling broken cars is fine as long as customers dont buy extended warranties.I would skip this dealership and honestly just go with a different one, like the one I mentioned above. My company has this dealership listed through our car-buying program and we are going to remove this one after this experience.

Update 3: Will be taking my car elsewhere for service going forward even if its free here and I have to pay somewhere else. Took my car in 2 months ago for a grinding noise in the steering column. They told me they would order a part and call me when it arrived to fix the issue. 2 months later, I call them since I hadnt heard back. Turns out the part arrived on November 20th (it is now December 23rd) and they forgot to call me. My car runs fine, so its not a huge issue, its just unprofessional. And not the first issue Ive had here. They do try to make things right in situations like this, but I just wish they would do things right from the beginning. Sales was great with me, which makes this feel even worse.Update2: I took my car back this last Saturday August 10th without an appointment to get the oil leak fixed and the recall taken care of. As soon as I drove in, David - who I believe is the service director - came out and apologized for my previous experience. He made sure my car was taken care of and followed up a few days later to make sure everything was done correctly on my last visit. I understand things can go wrong at times, but seeing how they didnt play it off and really went above and beyond to fix the mistakes, it says a lot about the service department.Update: Changing my rating from 5 stars to 1 star due to the service dept. I took my car in for an oil change, an ECM update, and for a minor recall fix. I made an appointment a week in advance and they confirmed they would be performing those tasks. After over 2 hours of waiting, they told me they didnt have the part for the recall and they just ordered it so I would have to go back another day. Then when I got in my car to leave, the first message I get is that my washer fluid is low. Theyre supposed to top off all fluids during an oil change, but apparently they didnt even check them. Then to finish it off, my car has been leaking oil all over my garage, so I have to go back to get that taken care of. I dont know if they just had a bad day or if this has been going on for some time, but this kind of service is unacceptable. They did update the ECM, or at least I think they did. But everything else was just bad. Its too bad I leased my car at this dealership, so I have to take it there to get serviced unless I want to pay. But if it continues like this, then Id rather pay and get better service elsewhere.**Just like most dealerships, each experience can be very different from person to person. My experience ended up being pretty great. I found a car I wanted online and emailed the dealership. Within an hour I had a reply that the car was available. I told them a price I was comfortable paying, and was given quote just a few hundred dollars more than what I asked for, which made it very easy not going back and forth on the price. Once in the dealership, everyone was very friendly and as straight forward as a dealership can be. The whole process did take longer than I would have liked, but at the end I got the car I wanted at a competitive price. Extra points for even having a manual transmission car with the upgraded turbo motor, rather than just having a manual transmission on a base, entry level car. It was really the only dealership in DFW with such a car. I wish more dealers had manual transmission cars just to have more options. The best part was no unwanted options on the car that so many dealerships add at inflated prices that are pretty much worthless.

My car had a recall on the engine and broke down in the middle of the highway. The whole day and situation was a nightmare until my car got in the hands of Herb. Seriously the NICEST, most hardworking guy I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He’s made everything so much easier and his customer service is out of this world. I can’t say enough good things about him, but if you are reading this and you are his boss, PLEASE give him a raise, he deserves it!!If you must take your car to get worked on make sure Herb is the one who handles it! One of the best car buying experiences that I have ever had. Bret Combs in the used car department was excellent in every way. He went the extra mile to make our experience fantastic. Even though we live two hours away from the dealership, it was worth the extra time. I rarely post reviews but I feel that Freeman Hyundai deserve it! I worked with Herb in the service department concerning my 2014 Tucson and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had with a car issue. He was very transparent with me, did not pressure me into anything that I didn’t want to do and had a loaner car waiting for me when I needed it while my car was in the shop. From here on, I’ll be bringing my car in for the services needed. Thank you service team and Herb for taking care of me and my car!

Herb and the entire tech team was such a tremendous help! I came in to get my car checked for a couple of the recall notices that I received. They were extremely prompt and excellent at communicating. They made the repairs in half of the time they originally thought. This has been the best experience I’ve ever had with Hyundai. I used to live elsewhere in Texas and was always disappointed with the customer service. Buyer Beware! I recently purchased a 2020 Santa Fe from Freeman. My transaction included a trade-in with sufficient equity to replace the need for a down payment and traditional financing for the new vehicle. I was presented a pencil offer for my trade and new vehicle price including discounts and rebates as well as estimated payment calculations for a variety of financing and lease terms. After agreeing to a specific deal term, vehicle discount amount, and trade-in pencil offer, I was placed in the queue to sign in the finance department. This is where everything went sideways! I wasn’t feeling well and wanted to get signed and on my way fast - the finance manager knew this & took full advantage of the situation. He used the pencil offer estimated payment to manipulate the vehicle price to match the monthly payment instead of using the vehicle price, discounts, and trade in offered by the sales manager. His financial manipulation resulted in an inaccurate vehicle price, incorrect discount total, and a total amount financed of more than $2k than it should have been. The finance manager conveniently skipped over the finance worksheet in its entirety during signing, only disclosed the APR after I asked twice, and lucky for me, he failed to get a credit app signed before I left the dealership. When he called to inform me the app was missing (two days later), I pulled out my paperwork and noticed that everything was wrong. When I insisted he explain how the vehicle price was more than 2k over what I agreed to, he stumbled through trying to explain that he had made a “mistake.” Unfortunately for him, I remembered he offered to add all the extra warranty options onto my deal without changing my payment - which can only be done by manipulating the price further because they don’t give that stuff away for free - and that one point debunks his “mistake” defense! It was done intentionally & maliciously in my opinion. Once my paperwork was redone & correct, my payment dropped by more than $37/month. Had I not noticed these errors, I would have paid $2,256 more than I should have for no reason other than the fact the finance manager wrote a shady deal. If your payment amount is the most important thing to you when signing - make sure the worksheet makes sense and accurately reflects the vehicle price & discounts you were presented - otherwise, you will find yourself in the same position I was in. If you’ve purchased recently, you may want to relook you’re worksheet to make sure it’s what you thought it was suppose to be.

Sitting in the lounge waiting for an oil change and I decided to use my time to sincerely thank Henry with the service team. This is my first time getting my Kona serviced and I didn’t know where to go. The gentleman in the service office could have been a little more helpful if I told him it was my first time, but nothing earth shattering. I ended up driving the WRONG WAY AND WAS SOOOOO EMBARRASSED I WAS ABOUT TO CRY. Henry was so freaking nice and sweet in helping me get situated. HE OPENED EVERY DOOR FOR ME (not expected AT ALL, but SO appreciated!!), showed me the place to pull in and waited until I pulled around the building for me, gave me tips for next time and he stayed with me until they got started on my car. I’m a pretty independent woman so I was very embarrassed I was tearing up at a car dealership- no one wants to be a cliche- but Henry saw my deer in headlights look and made me feel completely comfortable.When I booked my appointment it gave me the option to pick a technician, I didn’t know any of them so I just selected any tech... from here on I will be 100% team Henry. Give this man all the raises.

I was really impressed by the way I was attended to. The agent came to me at the car park as soon as he recognized my car from our encounter the previous day. That was very impressive. The service was excellent as one would expect from a well-trained professional but one thing that stood out, for me, is his awareness of his environment. Although he was very busy working on my car at a distance, he noticed that I had pulled one my hands in the sleeve of my shirt, That hand was the one away from his line of sight. I had my phone in the other. He quickly came to me and asked me politely to move to the waiting room since I was feeling cold. He is obviously someone who pays attention to details.

I went in for an oil change and was told I needed an air and cabin filter replaced. I declined because I do that myself. On my inspection the cabin air filter was dirty but the air filter was really clean. I have a Ford F-150 and the service guys at the Ford dealership only charges for the parts because it is basically dumb that they remove the items to inspect and then charge you to replace. even though they have to either put back in the old part or the new part. I saved $60 by doing it myself in 5 minutes. My Tucson air filter literally takes 30 seconds (including unboxing the new filter) to replace, the cabin air filter takes maybe four minutes once you know what you are doing.Also, there was an old lady (maybe 80) there that I overheard the service guy talking too and I felt they were taking advantage of her by recommending a lot of work and not explaining most of it was not really needed. She had a 6 year old car with less than 15K miles and they were piling on maintenance charges. I really trusted Freeman before this visit but now am going to be careful. They also told me I need an alignment on my rear tires and after I heard the service guy talk to the women I decided that maybe I need to take the car to another place for a second opinion. Really disappointing to have a dealership you trust and then have to question their integrity.

Any of the Freeman locations I have visited have given me excellent service.Its tough in this day and age to find any business with integrity and that personal touch, especially a car dealership (based on a stereotype but also my own experiences).I purchased my Hyundai from Freeman Toyota and lucked into them because they had what I wanted. Then, when it was time for service, I had it serviced at Freeman Hyundai. Both of my experiences were top notch!When its time to re-up, you can bet your bottom dollar I will be going back to Freeman Hyundai!The service team was professional and timely and explained everything to me. I trusted my baby with them and I was not disappointed.I researched so much for the best service department for my Hyundai and their reviews were on point! I drove out of my way to go to this particular place and Im happy I did.Keep up the great work!!!
