Really truly one of the most delicious and creamy and smooth ice creams I have tried. If you like a little coffee in your ice cream, they serve a very tasty honey affogato, as well as their signature honey ice cream with a honeycomb. Always had good experience here with the staffers five stars.

Went here to recover from a terrible meal I had. This place and their employees brought a smile to my face. Dessert was amazing as always. Try the milkshakes if you havent before although they may ruin all other milkshakes yes even innout. The taste is so much cleaner, and so so smooth.

Its pricey (like 99% of things in Irvine)...but definitely worth a try. I think the serving size is good to keep overindulgence in check:) Not too sweet but the honey gives it a little kick. I HIGHLY recommend the Affogato. The only thing I wish was different was the location. The outdoor seating is also extremely limited. Honeymee deserves a prime location at Spectrum its SO good!

I tried their ice cream with chocolate syrup. Didn’t taste any honey flavor and the ice cream was not creamy at all, not even as good as ice cream from Costco food court. Any good ice cream available at your local grocery stores taste better. This review is for their ice cream only.

Always in love with their milk shake but this review is based on this location. This one always looks like its closed cuz lights are always off, its dark inside and no sign saying its open or closed. Additionally there is some kind of lock on the door hanging so if they want more biz, they need to put up a sign or something.

First time here but omg its awesome.

Smooth soft serve. Toppings of honey and matcha, coffee, yuzu, etc. Distinct enough that you went find the same flavors elsewhere, especially since honey is used. Can seem sweeter than normal ice cream, but thats something you either love or hate. Difference between the soft serve vs shake in terms of size looks huge. Soft serve initially looks like a kids size, shake size normal. Both are enough to satisfy a sweets craving, but youll be running to other ice cream shops if you just need that triple scoop (at a better price per ounce). Coffee and yuzu are worth trying.

I got the caramel with the fleur de sel and it was phenomenal! The ice cream was fresh and tasty and the caramel wasnt too overpowering. Perfect balance of sweet and salty.

Seriously the creamiest Ice Cream I have ever had. A multitude of flavors, basic and creative. The line may be out the door, but it moves quickly. Servers are friendly and OK with giving you a taste of flavors before you buy.

Matcha affogato was the best choice if you’re a matcha lover. Their ice cream is so creamy without being too sweet. The honey was a pleasant surprise and was the perfect touch!

My girlfriend first noticed this place one day when we were coming home and just got off the 5. She always wanted to try it but it was always out of the way or she wasnt in the mood for sweets at the time. Flash forward to now, weve been here AT LEAST 4 times and its a great place to check out when were in the area to get some food or groceries at Ranch 99.The space for this establishment is pretty dinky but fortunately its a dessert place with a pretty limited menu. Heres a breakdown of the items weve tried so far:Sweetie (4/5): Who would have thought a simple combo of plain soft serve drizzled with some honey on top would be so surprisingly delicious! Theres no fancy breakdown of flavors or stages that come out as the ice cream melts in your mouth, it just works!Honey Hot Tea (5/5): Out of the two honey teas, this one right here is THE one Ill go for 100% of the time, especially if youre feeling under the weather. The honey helps sooth your throat even if youre not coughing up a storm and the taste of honey isnt overwhelming. Id usually opt for black tea anything but this time, at least for this place, Ill always get the green tea.Honey Iced Tea (4/5): Not sure what to say here... I cant tell if the ice ruined the goodness of what I described for the Hot Tea, or the whole cinnamon stick just ruined the whole experience for me.Cookies & Cream Milkshake (3/5): My initial reaction to this was Awesome! I absolutely love honeymee and the fact that they are open until 10:30 pm!! Try the matcha honeymee or a regular honeymee and add strawberries!

Special pure milk soft serve is awesome, not sugary. But the pure honey on top satisfies a sweet tooth. If you get the honeycomb, take it from me, dont try to chew and swallow. Its gross in your teeth (but swallowing is ok... But its just wax). Do suck on it though!

Ive been wanting to try Honeymee forever. Finally they opened a branch in Irvine. The milk ice cream was rich and creamy. Honeycomb is sweet and decadent. The ice cream and the honey is a perfect combination. Its a really delicious treat. Its a bit expensive for a small cup, but I would continue to indulge once in a while.

Really good ice cream. I love that the ice cream in itself is not sweet but really milky. We got the one with the hover comb and the chocolate one. The chocolate dear was very chocholaty, however, I was hoping the syrup to be thicker like a hot fudge.

Options are limited. All ice cream are vanilla based yogurt. Coffe Milkshake was the best.

I got the Matcha Affogato. It was delicious! Vanilla ice cream topped with ceremonial grade matcha and honey. The honey complimented the bitter Matcha perfectly. My husband got the green apple shake and also enjoyed his. The honey is amazing. You can tell it is quality honey by the taste of it. It isnt fake honey thats for sure. Will definitely come here again even though I live about 20 miles away. There are lots of great restaurants in the area!

The portions were quite small for the price. The size is serving size is slightly smaller than that of a Starbucks tall. The base of the ice cream is not that great. The true milk base tasted a bit tarty and bland. The emphasis was suppose to be a balance of sweetness which was mostly from the syrup honey. I think the true milk tried to be like the vanilla base ice cream from Haagen Daz. All in all, I wouldnt go there again but it was worth the experience.
