Excellent service like to point out Carter in particular who bent over backwards to help me obtain parts for my bike. Got me back on the trail quickly!He went above and beyond, exceeded my expectations. Strongly recommend this store and in particular Carter.
I purchased 4 bikes from this store; however, customer service was very very disappointing during my last visit to this store. Maybe I am just old fashioned but I do believe that customers should receive a good service not just when they are purchasing an expensive bike but also when they have a question about a product or service. I came to the store regarding bike rack adapters because I needed two. The employee was so rude that I wished I didnt enter this store to begin with. I asked about Thule bike rack adaptors and the way he talked to me was we only have KUAT, same thing and basically he talked with a tone take it or leave the store attitude. When I asked if I can see it since it was inside the box, he wouldnt do it. I dont think I was asking for such an inconvenient thing. On the way out I asked if I can get my bike tire aired up. He literally just gave me a pump and told me to air pump it. I asked him if he can at least let us use the air compressor for my kids bikes since I bought them from this store. He said no it is the same thing. Just very rude tone and attitude over all and then walked away without saying anything. Luckily another employee approached us and helped with the air compressor for my bike. I literally left the store without even getting my kids bike pumped since the whole experience was very uncomfortable.

Went in to get a flat fixed because their website said they did same day repair. Instead, they said to schedule an appt two and a half weeks out. So I went to JAX bicycle repair and they got me right in, showed me some local trails, and even some fun local races. Go to JAX!!

My new bike store. I need to fix my crank creek on my 2018 Specialized Epic Hardtail. I ride on in and they ask what I need. They immediately took my bike back for a look and brought it back up in two minutes. Knowingly bike service is backed up everywhere I asked for part numbers to service it myself. They gave them to me on sticky note pads. Then the main mechanic took one look at over the counter at my bike, then online searched for the prefect aftermarket part for me. Im going to pre order my next bike at the ROCK by years end.Condor.
This shop is very deceitful, service was not done of my bike. I bought a specialized mtb and i asked them to convert it to tubeless, but they never did. This type of service is unacceptable. I had to wait for days for them to convert my bike but they never did anything. I have a feeling that I was lied too, so I went to buy all the tools necessary to do my own work, and found out that the tube are still there. I would caution everyone whose getting service done here, you might be paying them for nothing at all!
Chris and his entire staff at Rock N Road are the best. They actually care about trying to get you on the road. His team spends the time to make sure you get the best service.

5 stars- I appreciate their safety precautions and social distancing measures. While they were sold out of the chain degreaser I wanted, the friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me find a good lube and explained their service deals. Great selection! I also picked up a water bottle there. Glad to see their business has picked up considerably.
Not the best if youre looking for something on a lower budget just to ride around your neighborhood. They were out of stock of all the cheaper ones and didnt even bother to try to show us something else, which we wouldve considered if costumer service was better - ended up purchasing a bike somewhere else for $300 more than we were planning to.

Great integrity. Had a slight problem with a bike repair, and I came back a few months later and they made it right. No charge. My friend bought his bike here and said the service is excellent too. I will likely but my next bike here. I like a company that stands behind its products.

Service is slow here due to the covid guidelines, but they could provide a quicker service by asking people in the line what service they needed. It took me 30 mins to be served for an inner tube which ended up being a 2 minute transaction.
I wish if I can not give them one star, this store so bad they have no experience and they dont know how to deal with costumers at all. Also, the manger is the worst you are going to deal with.

Their communication has to improve. We called them for a bike tune up and they asked us to bring it in. As you see, their hours are not convenient and do not give a specific appointment. After we waited for them to open, they said they do not do service. Please make sure you specifically discuss what they can do before showing up there.
Bare with me, its a long one todayMy boyfriend uses his road bike as his main transportation to work and hes been meaning to get his wheels trued for some time now since Performance has been closing so we came across Rock N Road.We gave them a call and they said there was a 24 hour turnaround for that, perfect, so we bring it in Friday afternoon so he can have it back by Monday for work. Over the phone, in the store, and Sunday afternoon they told us And you will hear from us on updatesCome Sunday morning, hadnt heard from them.Sunday afternoon, still nothing.Sunday right before close, still NOTHING?So we call again Monday morning and were told the tech isnt in until 11am so he will start then. But you had the bike for over 48 hours and youre just starting?Ugh, anyways, we go to pick up our wheels, one of them trued, the other already discussed and understood that it was damaged and could not be trued.We are looking over the wheel that was trued, the rim tape wasnt even applied correctly, and there wasnt air in the tire but it actually turns out they popped the tire too and didnt bother replacing it or telling us.Honestly, what could have changed this whole thing is we would have really appreciated the communication, even just small updates, bc thats what we all would want from our techs.So we are having to use his back up spare, reapplying the rim tape ourselves, and going elsewhere for any bike repair needs. -.-
The guys at Rock N Road are super helpful and went out of their way to give me a positive experience. Diego especially came through in making sure I was taken care of back on my bike as soon as possible. They are professional and friendly and I recommend them!

This shop is great if youre looking for Specialized bikes and parts, because thats pretty much what the workers will try to sell you. The shop feels very much corporate driven, and not so much mom-and-pop bike shop. Theres not doubt Specialized makes great products, but visiting another bike shop before making your final purchase may be a good idea also.
I havent bought a bike at R & R but have received great service on both my mountain and road bikes. They did a great installation of an adjustable seat post on the mountain bike and helped me get my Garmin computer to work correctly when switching between bikes and getting the cadence and power to readout correctly. I also ordered a few special items and they got then in just a few days and called to say they were ready for pick-up. Evan is the employee who has always given me excellent service.
My son was racing Over The Hump in Irvine last week and I had no time to tune his bike. My wife took the bike here and they tuned it and had it working in time for the race. They did a great job and and didnt charge us a dime. I went in to thank them for helping us out and bought some items that I needed for my bike. My next bike purchase will be here.
Ive walked into this shop about 5 times to check out what deals I might be able to find on a MTB. Every time Ive walked in, most of the guys were chatting it up and wouldnt even acknowledge my presence. Okay, given that Im just browsing, itd be nice to be directed to bikes that I may be interested in, or even acknowledged so I feel like Im welcome in the shop.The one time I did receive some helpful service was when I had asked if they sold cable crimp-on ends, and they gave me two for free. Kudos to the service dept, sales not so much.
I have had good service at this location the few times I have stopped in. I was looking at Clipless Shoes and pedals and one of their employees took the time to explain how they work and what to look for. They had multiple styles and sizes in stock to try on. I bought shoes and pedals that day. I went back looking for knee and elbow pads. They have a small selection but I was able to try some on. They ordered me the right size for the elbow pads and had my size in the knee pads. I have only had positive experiences here.
Best Guys in the Biz. Kevin is the best Mechanic Ive ever worked with. Diego knows how to treat customers and knows everything about bikes. After coming from a Euro bike I would never ride anything other than a Tarmac again.

I have brought 4 of my bikes here for repair multiple times and have always been impressed with the quick turn around and very reasonable pricing. Today for example I brought my bike in with a flat tire at 6 pm and had the inner tube replaced in 15 minutes. I asked if they could check the gears and brakes for me and sure enough, it rides like new for $27 and in 15 minutes!! As a repeat customer I was compelled to write my review this time.

Purchased bike from this shop. Sales experience was alright, not spectacular. I was a customer seeking a mountain bike priced below $1,000. I was treated by the sales rep for that level, as expected. Rode bike a few times (Specialized) and after a ride a grinding sound manifested. Mechanic loked at it and said rear axel was bent, needed replacement. That was on a Sunday. Expected fix time unknown: part needed to be ordered. Got a status call that following Monday: need to call Specialized for the part. Tuesday status call: part ordered, will call when we know more. By Thursday, I was planning a ride for Sunday coming, called for status: part expected by Friday or Saturday. Called Friday, Justin took call: bike was on deck for repair and would be ready by 5:00, or maybe Saturday. Called Saturday (today) and part not in, ETA Tuesday. Poor management of facts and expectations. Distraction of staff nauseating. After getting bike back Ill be searching for another shop to build a real relationship with me.
