Ashly did a great job on cutting my hair. I haven’t gotten a haircut in over 2 years so I was nervous but she made me feel comfortable. I went in and wanted to take 14 inches off and she cut it exactly how I wanted it. I keep getting compliments on how good it looks. I will be coming back to Ashly in the future.

Amy was really great about listening to what I said I wanted (even though I was being really indecisive) and figuring out what I actually meant and what my hair needed. This place always has my back. Ashley helped me out today to fix a pixie cut from another stylist that didnt turn out quite as planned. She was super helpful in helping me achieve the look I wanted, while also working with me to not cut the length much shorter.Another time I came in and asked the stylist (whom I forget, so sorry!) to cut my hair shorter than I wanted, so it would grow into what I wanted in a few weeks. She nailed it perfectly!Ive had good luck at this place and they seem to have good intuition. Going to make this my new spot!

Been going to the Irvine location for almost 9 months. Employees seem awesome and have great attitudes but the quality of the cut seems to differ pretty wildly. If you go, make sure you know what you want and can articulate it well :)

I had my hair cut by Destiny at the UTC location. I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted, and she was able to give me my dream hair cut! (Its been two weeks and I still smile so big when I see my reflection). The shop was incredibly clean, and it was clear that they have been taking Covid very seriously. I could not be happier with my experience here.

Anita at Bishops is a hair wizard! She has lightened & cut my hair on two occasions and each time my hair has looked awesome! The rest of the staff is also friendly. Remember to call in and book your service ahead of time; they are usually too busy to take walk-ins.

The entire staff here is amazing, and the prices are phenomenally fair! I came in to get my hair coloured and cut, and Kelly did an amazing job. They even offer a free beer when you get a cut, its pretty neat (shame I dont drink)! Unlike some salons where theyre not really on top of whats currently fashionable or trendy, the team here is up-to-date and I left with a wicked good pixie cut.I am a transgender woman, and no one in the location even batted an eye when I came in, everyone used my correct pronouns and was super respectful. And as someone that is non-binary, I appreciate that their pricing for cuts is based on length and not gender. This is a safe space.The decor is pretty great, too! I just love the aesthetic. If you need a cut for a great price, want your colour done, or any of the above, come over to Bishops!
