Dropped off a tire to be repaired today at 12:05. Gary said Yea not a problem should be done in an hour. I just went back to pick up the tire only to find it leaning in the corner and the only thing that was done to it was my company name written on it. Waited around for a few minutes before someone helped me. That someone was Gary again and he said itll be about another hour so I told him I would take the tire with me then. I went into the office and asked to speak to a manager and the lady at the desk paged them. And then Gary walks in the office claims to be the owner and asked me what was going on and explain the situation to him again. He said its not my fault we dont have enough Indians to get the job done and I told you it was 2 hours to start with. So I told him he lost our business

The staff was friendly, especially Bob who did a great job fixing up my tire; the prices were good and the business really seemed to have a customer first attitude. They made sure to only charge me for what I needed and looked out for me by recommending something the make things easier down the road.Made my whole day better; I would be a regular if I lived any closer.

I had originally gone in for a couple tires, they had the best price for decent tires I could find. I was able to replace all 4. I also had a bit of a coolent leak, so I asked them to check it out. He was able to find it right away and get it fixed.

Its so hard to find an honest mechanic these days. I have taken both my daughters jeep, my car and my Durango there. Most recent being the Durango. They go above and beyond every single time. They are the most affordable AND they dont jink you along like some of the other Ionia car places. They give estimates that are accurate and do NOT change them last minute for things that do not need to be fixed. If you need tires talk to Dave. If you need engine repair talk to Gary. We will continue to have them service our vehicles and hope the whole place knows how much we appreciate them!

Blundy-Hoppes is our go-to garage in the Ionia area. Theyve had ample chances to overcharge, do unnecessary work, and take advantage of us...and they havent. Theyre a needle in a haystack: an honest repair shop.Case in point...my older car started leaking and I thought it was a bad steering rack after looking underneath it -- wouldve been a $500 part and hours of labor. Nope...the oil filter was leaking and they replaced it with an oil change. They couldve totally stuck me for an expensive un-needed repair and didnt. Weve had routine oil changes, tire balances and alignments done. Weve had engine repairs done, and weve had them drop the entire dash of my car to replace a faulty heater actuator thingie.

Blundy-Hoppes did a great job. We got a super good deal on 80k mile tires mounted & balanced, $460. out the door. We also had a front end alignment done and decided to put road hazard insurance on our tires, seeing as my husband & I are getting older and taking care of potential tire issues isnt something we want to be dealing with. They were friendly and efficient. We would recommend anyone to check Blundy-Hoppes out for tires or other services they offer.

My sons car broke down on the exit ramp on I-96. Not knowing exactly what was wrong with the car, I called mid-morning to see if they had an opening if we brought the car in. We arrived late afternoon due to the delay in the tow truck arriving. I was really surprised how quickly they did diagnostics, and found out what was wrong with it. I believe they called either after they closed or close to closing. I could tell they value their customers. Honest mechanics, really impressed when we picked the car up and the the mechanic took time out of his repairs to tell us what went wrong and what was fixed. Top notch customer service too.

5 stars isnt enough. There needs to be 100 gazillion stars!! I am from Cadillac and had a blown tire in Ionia. 100 miles away!! I was short on cash and hinestly at the mercy of fate lol. They put a new tire on the rim, checked all the other tires, filled the spare with air, all on top of getting me in RIGHT AWAY!!! How much? Only $40!!! If I lived in Ionia I would ONLY go through them. Thanks again!!

I took my vehicle in to have the air conditioning fixed they charged me 71 Box did not fix it because they said they ran out of time and I would have to reschedule never again

My Chrysler town n country pulled to the right so from experience told me my alignment was out of wack so I went to the garage asking for an alignment. Before them even looking at it. I talked to the mechanic going to do the work and said for him to see if there was any other problem he could see before he started to let me know. Right then and there he rolled his eyes and just closed his eyes but went to work on it. He did not come back so I thought everything was good. He did the alignment. I drove down the road and same problem. So I returned. He was not happy. He said we can switch tires and see if it still pulls. We did. He returned after test drive and let me know it now pulls to the left and told me it is because of a bad tire. Couldn’t he see that before he did the $55 wheel alignment? So I paid for an alignment I didn’t need. I just needed a new tire. My advice. If you are thinking of going here. Don’t.

What a great experience! My alternator went out on 96, I coasted into Blundy & Hoppes in a little town, thinking wow, theyre going to take advantage of these Ohio license plates. I was very wrong!! Brett was quick to confirm the alternator had gone bad, and despite them being very very busy that day, he told me he could get me back on the road by the end of the day. He did exactly that, not one penny over his original and very fair estimate! Thank you all for helping me in my hour of need and being HONEST and FAIR!!
