I had the BEST experience I have ever had at a car dealership. The employees were outstanding. The staff bought myself and my children dinner, they let me take my new car for a four hour test drive, I got a plethora of complimentary oil changes, including tire rotations and two years of road side assistance. I was given an amazing interest rate, they took care of the cost of a new title (seeing I could not find my original), they gave me what I requested to get on my trade-in and the total time spent at the actual dealership only lasted 3 hours! I would highly recommend Tionne and his co-workers!
Found the van I was looking for, in my price range, and they took great care of me!! I highly recommend this dealership! From Dave the sales guy and his team, to Jim the Used Car Manager, to Jason the Service Advisor and his team!Without going into specific details... My sliding door was not shutting properly and because of a miscommunication (probably my fault) they still took care of it no cost to me after my 30day warranty!The amazing part was they gave me a free loaner (CRV) because they thought they may have to send it to a Chrysler Dealership. They ended up sending it to a Chrysler dealership who fixed the issue and no charge to me! I was nervous I would have to pay for something after the 30day warranty and the hassle this Honda dealership went through to fix my Chrysler. They were all so great! Wonderful customer service start to finish!! Thank you for a great first time experience with your team! My goal is to make known how great customer should be!

Always great customer service. When they knew ahead of time there wasnt enough time scheduled for my appt before they closed on Friday evening, they offered me a rental car for the weekend at no charge. Super flexible when I said I would not be able to pick up my car on Saturday. The response was no problem. Just drop if off after work on Monday.
Im very disappointed with their attempts to repair my CRV. The problem was not corrected after keeping my vehicle for two days. When I called the service manager to tell him that the problem was not fixed, his only response was that I still had time left under warranty for them to do the repair. He didnt express any apologies or give me any hope that they would be able to correct the problem.
I was looking to buy a Civic Type R but not a single dealer would sell it to me at MSRP. 70 phone calls later, Jason at Inver Grove Honda gladly agreed to sell me one at MSRP which is quite rare in the current market. The process took some time since theyre manufactured in England, but Jason was very transparent through the whole process. He was also happy to answer any questions and frequently updated me on the shipment status. When picking up the car you could tell it was treated with the utmost amount of care. Purchasing it was a breeze as we were in and out of the dealer in about 40 minutes. Everyone there was super friendly. This was the best car purchasing experience I have ever had. I live out of state (1,200 miles away) but I would take this trip again just to support this great group of people.

Had a great experience buying a rare car here. They had good communication through the order process, installing custom parts and getting them through a prolonged backorder, ordering a car cover, and getting the car its first service. Everything was done with perfection even taking care of a little paint issue we found. A+
After going to 9 different dealerships, to find a replacement SUV after mine got totaled by a tree. I meet a very nice and knowledgeable sales guy Mr. Reese. He was very helpful before, (and more importantly) after the sale. As for service, they did a great job! I think his name was Terry. I am really happy with my total experience.
We purchased a used pilot last night from inver Grove. We have visited a few dealerships in the last couple weeks trying to decide what midsize SUV would work best for our family. I had a couple very negative experiences at neighboring dealerships and the reason I bought from Inver Grove Honda is because Scott was super helpful. We stopped in on a Saturday and had to bring our young children due to not having a babysitter. Scott was super helpful and patient with our little girls. My husband and I took turns doing test drives and we spent a decent amount of time there.We found a couple pilots elsewhere that we were interested in but ultimately decided to return to Inver Grove because we really liked the service we received.The gentleman who helped us with the financing was also super pleasant to work with.I have bought quite a few vehicles and have dealt with many sales people, I like that they were willing to help out and show us vehicles whether or not we were making a purchase. I never felt pressured and We were conscious about what our budget was I felt even though they do ask and recommend many add-ons they are good about not being pushy. I was happy with the overall experience and I’m very excited about our new vehicle!

Came in for four new tire replacement and alignment. There were two service lanes and I was stuck in the slow one so I was attended to later than vehicles that arrived way after me. I would suggest the service representative tend to cars in the order we arrive at.Beside this minor inconvenience, the service for replacing tires and four wheel alignment was great. I was given a loaner vehicle to use while my car was in service. This was a nice gesture. I will definitely return here for my future service needs.

Terry and his customer service in the service bay was terrific; no wonder he has 20+years in.Honda had some issues and our stay was longer than expected.Staff was courteous and efficient, lots of snacks and drink available.Seating was nice with a large tv and individual kiosks.Service bay was very busy, but spotless and the vehicle hand off was smooth.

When I first called for an appointment for complimentary (service plan) oil change was told I had to arrive at the scheduled time (could not drop off early and return later to pick up). Was told if I did that they would remove the appointment and call me a “walk in” and could not guarantee it would get completed. Arrived a few minutes early for scheduled appointment on Saturday afternoon, waited almost two hours and finally had to seek out a service person to find out what was happening. Was told they were understaffed, and everything was behind. All they did was change the oil. I could have had that done at a drive-up place for the same price and would have been done in a few minutes. The combination of being told I could not drop off early (on a beautiful Saturday afternoon) and then taking over two hours to change the oil left me feeling pretty jilted. Only bright spot the service desk guy was kind and seemed to genuinely feel bad.
Quickly checked in with preset appointment, Service completed in normal time. No issues

This was my very first visit to this Honda dealer. I noticed that my oil change % was getting very low and was worried about waiting so I drove in to ask about an appointment and they were very busy but I said that was ok that I had the time and could wait. We have had several unfortunate incidents at this location.1. There was a time that we were getting our vehicle serviced and a sales associate approached us to trade-in our vehicle. We had considered down-sizing so told them we would talk to them another time since it was dinner time (maybe lunch... I dont remember) for our 5 year old. They told us not to worry about it and they would get something for her to eat. We said sure, but an hour into our conversation there was still no food for our daughter, who at this point was very hangry. We just stood up and left at that point.2. A year ago our vehicle needed something fixed and we had some other fairly expensive maintenance done at the same time. This included timing belt and new tires. Fast forward to our oil change a month ago and they recommended a new timing belt as part of routine maintenance. I even got a lecture about the importance of getting the timing belt done and I would damage my car forever blah blah blah. Apparently the service technician overlooked a $1500 service that was done only a year ago. The manager assured me that this would have been caught when they started, but Im not sure at what point it would have been caught... after it was done?3. The organization is a bit scary. At the same appointment in #2, apparently the vehicles had been mislabeled. I was in my car waiting for them to shuffle cars around so I could leave when the manager came to me and told me I was in the wrong car. I looked around at the stickers on the window and the mess that is the back seat and thought about asking if the other car was cleaner. But after a bit of arguing I convinced her it was indeed my car.4. The tires that I purchased a year ago in #2? I didnt buy the lowest grade tires. They may not have been platinum, but they were supposed to last 70,000 miles. The tread is to the point that I had to replace them yesterday. This is after pandemic driving. Im not sure we even got 15,000 miles out of them. We do routine alignments and tire rotation too. When I confronted them about it several months ago, I was informed that there was no warranty on the tires and was SOL.Needless to say, the biggest tipping points for me was the recommendation of a service where the cost is not trivial along with having to purchase a new set of tires that put me back another $1000 when the ones I had should have lasted much longer. I will not be returning nor would I recommend Inver Grove Honda to anyone else.

She was a pleasure to work with.Well, I needed a new battery (oops!!!). I called & spoke w/ Stefon. He told me to jump the battery & drive right in...special dispensation. His directive was Dont turn it off!!!Cynthia greeted me in the shop!!! She was very friendly. Also, very professional!!!I love this service department. They listen to the customer & keep you informed during your visit. Great communication. Comfortable waiting room. Nice touches. The shop operates very smoothly.
Our experience with Sophia Sturm was outstanding. She was very patient and really listened to our needs and concerns (even when we changed direction after looking at several vehicles).Financing was also prompt and offered several option to choose from.
I had service guy Tim and he was great at explaining all options for brakes in the future and also went over the current condition of the brakes. He knows his stuff and is completely realistic. In a job where the service writing is 100% based on commission, I feel that you can really trust Tim that hes not going to try to sell you on a service just for a commission.
I brought my trade in here after doing a few days of research and getting a few bids. They offered 28.5k for the car. I left and went to a Walser dealership and out the gate they offered me 31k for the trade in. I purchased a very similar 4runner with better options from Walser for the same price as the one i was checking out at Inver Grove Honda.TLDR: this place will undervalue your trade go to other dealers to get a bid on your trade in.
Have always had a good experience here. Came in today for my oil change and was done in about an hour, the amount of time I was quoted for. Turns out I came in day early and the service representative I saw didnt tell me that but they still saw me. Didnt find out until later in the day when I got a reminder call for my appointment that was actually tomorrow. So I guess thank you for still doing my service appointment and I apologize!
The Inver Grove Honda service team has always been amazingly wonderful every time I have brought my car in for service. They are helpful, courteous and very professional. This last time I was in I worked with Glen and he was by far the nicest and the easiest to work with. He helped explain everything that was needed to service my car and why it was important to have the service done. He also provided an approximate quote so I wouldnt be shocked with the final result. He was kind, considerate and just a great guy. I really appreciated everything he did to make the experience easy and pleasant as well as making me feel comfortable.

Sales staff has been extremely helpful and has great customer service. I brought the car back to have some extra servicing done to it. Service staff was helpful and had good customer service also. Opportunity for improvement - I wasnt impressed with the clean up of the vehicle before I drove it off the lot. I bought a used car and didnt expect it to be rid of all the stains here and there, but its not that hard to do a throughout job vacuuming the car to make it look nice and clean before taking it home. Overall would absolutely recommend purchasing a vehicle with this team!

Im giving this review two stars for two reasons. To start off with the good, Andy was very communicative with me regarding the car I was looking at especially since I was coming from a few states away. He even held the vehicle for me to fly in and buy while a few other people were trying to look at it. But heres where the bad starts. I told them multiple times I had valid marine corps plates back home with my initials on them to register the car with. they even gave me temporary plates to get back home. 2 months later I get a call saying they needed to send me the registration form for the title. I asked again that it was only to register the vehicle. I was told yes multiple times. Low and behold a month later, here I am holding regular passenger plates to my car. So I call them and they said they would send me a check. I just got a check for 44 dollars. 44 dollars to say sorry we messed up. So now not only do I have to do the work myself to go to the dmv to get my veteran plates back which I cant get my initials back because its already currently registered till November, but im also now out the extra registration fee to have the veteran plates let alone the hours it takes to get through the dmv now. If I lived in the area I would tell my friends and family not to buy from here.

My husband and just came to look at the size of a Honda Hrv as my sister had informed me that she knew someone selling a 2018 model wit only 17 thousand mi but it was 2 WD. Zach saw me in the lot and approached me and was able to find us the same make and model with all wheel drive and only 11 thousand mi and it was certified. He was great and treated us well and in the time we test drove it 3 other sales people had some one interested. This is our 2 nd car we have bought and had excellent care both times. Ask for Zach he will take care of you!

I’m new to the Inver Grove Honda store but I’ve been so far impressed with their service department. I’ve scheduled an appointment by phone and one online. Both methods were easy and convenient. Their service garage is clean and warm. You get in and out quickly. Staff are professional and courteous and they take great care not to waste your time. I’ve had lots of cars in lots of service departments and this Honda store is the best!
I had my 2007 accord in for a simply oil change and they were nice enough to match a competitors price so my oil change was half the price almost. I appreciate that. I was then told that BOTH my front lower ball joints were shot and needed replacement and alignment ($983)and the advisor even told me to be careful about potholes they were so bad. I declined as I called my dads mechanic and he quoted me price of $600 for this service. I dont judge them bad for the price as we all get to set our own prices. I took my car to my mechanic and he was 3 of the 4 were in prefect condition and one had a slight play - almost insignificant. they DO NOT need replacement and they advised it was really bad. It seems my coupon was maybe not enough for them that they needed to find something wrong with my car, but the way they made it seem like it was dangerous to drive. I am debating getting a second opinion but I know that i WILL NOT be going back if they are trying to get me to fix things that are not even bad to make more money but seems like dealerships are known for this... VERY SAD .. I would NOT recommend this dealership to ANY friends. BE CAREFUL if they recommend service - get a second opinion - dont just trust they are being honest. I hope my situation is unique, but who knows.... You may ask why i chose the dealership to get the oil change instead of my mechanic - simply put the coupon was cheaper them my mechanic charges for an oil change. I wont make that mistake again. I also tried to call Kristen or Krysten - service manager but when trying to leave a message it ended my message a few seconds after I starting talking. I called back - same result. I hate to leave bad feedback without talking to them but want others to be aware....
We had a great experience! Jesse gave us a super friendly greeting on the lot right away, and Gardner did a great job helping us find the right vehicle! He was very honest (even telling us how new to sales he was), but he expressed genuine care for our needs, and shared his own experience working for Inver Gove Honda. Its really a great dealership, and will continue doing business here.
