Well I love the village pantry for those late night runs! The lady that is always working is very helpful and knows what she is doing & dont tolerate any BS!!!

I never have problems with the cashiers. However, on Sunday and again today, I stopped by on my way home. It was around 10:30pm. Door was locked and there was a sign saying they were closed for an hour for shift change. I was disappointed to have to go to a different gas station after a long day.

Best place if you wanna grab a quick bite.

They shut down/ close early in the morning to do a count, sometimes for 30 min or more, the employees goofoff outside and smoke and talk to people while usually one person attends the register. Always long lines and poor customer service. Half the employees dont wear their Covid masks right, either

Bought a salad from the deli and as i was getting ready to put the dressing on i found this little bug in it! EWWW HOW DISGUSTING!

Man I hate this place. But its convenient for those in the area. The prices for snacks, drinks, and typical things at gas stations are ridiculously high. The employees either dont care about the people,merchandise, and place... or theyre miss patty. Those who have gone to this VP know who miss patty is. The mean old lady that comes in at night. Shes always on some stalker activity. And shes constantly being rude. If youre looking for gas, this is a decent place to go. But anything else, I recommend going to the dollar store down the street. Or just skipping the idea in general because this place isnt worth it

First of all if your on the way to work and need the bathroom while getting gas and breakfast your completely screwed. They have it closed until 8am which is stupid because Lillys is across the street. The place is always a mess. The parking lot is always trashed. And if you stop in around 1030 the store is closed because the cashier wants to have his whole family in their eating. He flat out told me that his family time is more important than the store being open. Then started a argument with a customer which lead to him telling customer to come back at the end of his shift so they can fight. The lines are always extremely long. Usually there is enough staff but they seem to like to hang around and not help then they wonder why they go through employees like crazy. The 3rd shift older lady is always nasty. She should never have a customer service job! Ive never seen such a horrible gas station. Ill continue to take my business to the nice new SPEEDWAY that has a good Cafe and the food is actually good.

They are always out of stuff, there coffee is always cold and their slushy machine never works

The 3rd shift staff is always rude, the store is always a mess, they never want to be helpful in ANY WAY AT ALL. Ive worked customer service for over 15 years & third shift would be fired due to their lack of work ethic $ their lack of just basic people skills. When a customer (me) cleans up your drink station & instead of a thank you, I get to hear about how you havent had time to do it, you need to be taught manners & since there were only 2 customers in the store at 2:00a.m. I think if there werent a laziness factor, she would be able to get it done. I will be speaking to a manager. Lets see of theyre any better at their job by training their employee that they chose to hire. Hands down the worst gas station on the south-west side simply due to the staff.

This location has, without a doubt, the most hateful employees. I walked into the store and glanced at the Indy Star headlines to see if there was anything that would interest me enough to purchase the paper, which is the goal and soul purpose of newspaper headlines. I was immediately instructed to either shop for something or leave the store.....within literally three seconds of glancing at the paper. I politely asked why the woman was being so rude and she responded by saying, I dont have time to watch you read the whole paper so either buy something or get the hell out of my store. I am a regular customer of this particular location and have grown accustomed to the rude comments coming from the stack but this time was beyond the normal hateful comments and I couldnt believe my ears. Should I report to the corporate office?

So I went into the Village pantry around 12:36pm and the older lady didn’t ask my friend for his ID to buy cigarettes, well after he walked out I went in getting a bag of chips and a lottery ticket but I had my ID in the car and she said she couldn’t sale me a ticket because I didn’t have My ID, but you can sale cigarettes to a guy that doesn’t have his ID and doesn’t look like he’s over 40. If your going to do you job how about you do it right! It’s sad really wonder how many kids she sales cigarettes to.

I live right behind here, its very busy during the day with lots of traffic. Its always busy, full during the day but at night, its only 1-2 people working, one at the register and the other is cleaning. The parking lot is dirty from the days rustle and bustle but there is NEVER prostitute or gang related activity. I work 3rd shift and just during The night traffic. The people who live on the street behind have been here for 20+years, no crime, no break ins. The staff is not as friendly as during the day, but its a 24 hour convenience store, parking lot is well lit and looks like any other store at night.

This place sucks. Why would a convenient store close for 20 minutes after a football game? Pretty stupid if you ask me

They never have the cooler stalked and there is always a long line maybe they should consider having more than one person working in the store .

The restrooms are nasty every single time I come in, they look like they never clean them and the food they sell here is not very good either, go to Phillips 66 at Raymond and Kentucky

This isn’t a place to stop! There is always a line with long waits, over priced drinks and snacks, and the staff is rude. I ain’t tell them to put in the damn application! Avoid at all cost.

The older caucasian woman with curly hair should not work with the public....not her field.

You walk in the at 4:30 am and the manger is like you have to wait 15 minutes for the closing . Plus the cashier was rude . They had no bags and she said it like not my problem. Unorganized and rude

I WAS TREATED VERY RUDLY BY PATTY A WORKER THERE. SHE NOT ONLY WAS RUDE BUT LAUGHED IN MY FACE AND TOLD ME THEY WONT CARE WHEN I TOLD HER I WAS CONTRACTING CORPORATE OFFICE. I guess Ill see how much they care because I sure contacted Gary Heminger.

Terrible customer service. I had the opportunity to be assisted by 3 different employees (2 for food and 1 to checkout) and all 3 of them were very rude. There was a man in front of me in line trying to order food and he did not speak english well. When I helped him out by telling her what he was trying to order she got a huge attitude with me. Ive worked in the area for 4 years and do everything I can to avoid this particular VP.

Slowest retail store in history. Why does every transction take 10 minutes? Why do the cashiers constantly walk away from the register?I seriously dont understand it

John does not lessen to the hole story .he lessons to the ones he wants to i will not be blamed no more.. i did ask for help .and got told by Tracy i have to do it by my self .so thats not my problem that is johns problem john wants to yell at some one well not me no more I QUIET .if u need a job dont go there . he does not no how to treat people or talk to them.tracy does not do her job right she writes down the temp beforeit is done cooking .and she messes around with the truck driver dude that bring the food . who else she messing with at work .

Its a good gas station

Well I dont know much about it cuz we purely got off the highway for a bathroom break and they were shut down so we had to go somewhere else. Twas annoying.

Unfortunately Ive frequented this Village Pantry many times and 9 times out of 10 there is a 5-10 minute wait at least. Ive even waited in a line while the clerk walked out to go smoke because she, had had enough of customers attitudes and didnt care if we had to wait. Who does that?!

Always clean and good customer service

Worst Customer service EVER!! They wouldnt let me buy cigarette because I was with my 17 year old nephew. WTF? Im buying, Im paying I have my ID I will never go there again. And I will be sure to tell EVERYONE how petty they are... stupid just dumb.

Nice during the day very ghetto and scary at night drug dealers prostitutes all everything you can imagine or hope not to imagine not the place to be at night time I felt like I was going to get robbed at the Redbox
