A great experience all around. This was the first store I ever went to and I ended up getting my dress here. I even left the store and visited a few other places before coming back for my dress. I’m very picky and the ladies at Brides by Young were super patient and helpful. My consultant, Lauren, went as far as grabbing dresses for me to try on at their sister store next door! I ended up with a dress I would have never imagined myself in but I seriously couldn’t be happier. They had a HUGE selection for me to choose from and they were all gorgeous and flattering. Highly recommend to anyone looking for their perfect dress!

I was so nervous about shopping for my wedding dress because it seems like every time I go shopping for clothes, I leave feeling defeated and overwhelmed because of my anxiety and being uncomfortable in my own skin. Brides by Young was my first stop of what I thought would be many bridal shops. Well, not only did they exceed my expectations, but we literally found the perfect dress for my wedding - the SECOND dress I tried on! Anyone who knows me knows that something this easy has NEVER happened when trying on anything. I can’t thank my stylist enough for helping me and cheering me on. I had the most Amazing experience getting my wedding dress at Brides by Young!! From the very beginning of my appointment Lauren was the perfect consultant. She really took time to listen to what I wanted, look through inspiration photos AND pictures of me in dresses I had already tried on at another store. Then she got to work pulling options. EVERY SINGLE ONE of her picks for me were nearly exactly what I was looking for and I loved so many of them. Even more importantly, I felt so special during my appointment. I am so happy with my dress and I am so grateful that I will have positive memories of the dress shopping experience!

I don’t usually write reviews but I felt I needed to write this one…I went to the Jersey location as a bridesmaid and was a part of one of my best friend’s journey to finding her gown. We were absolutely floored at how beautiful the salon was and how well we were treated! Everyone there was incredibly nice, professional and really listened to what we were looking for. We had been to several other salons with no luck and had disappointing experiences on top of it. She was really nervous that she wouldn’t find something that would fit her in a flattering way but ended up with several options at Young and had a hard time deciding which one she liked more. She ended up with her DREAM GOWN and everyone cried, including the consultant. We were even able to find all our bridesmaids dresses as well and were delighted at how smooth and effortless the process was for each of us.The alterations were perfectly done for everyone in our party and were not only delivered on time but each dress fit like a glove. I highly recommend going to Brides by Young if you are looking for all inclusive sizes and a memorable experience! Thank you for making this special day even more amazing!

Amazing!! All of the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful when it came to finding your dress. The appointments are a one on one appointment and they really listen and try to understand who you are and what you want. 10/10 would recommend. For plus size women the dresses fit amazingly! They are on more of the expensive side when it comes to dresses though so if you go here be willing to spend somewhere above $1,300 on a dress.

I’m a plus size bride that has never been gown shopping before. Brides by young changed that today & by the end of my appointment I had found the gown I am to get married in. Lauren made this such a stress free process for me & was so kind the entire time. I was anxious & not excited for this as I could only envision worse case scenarios. Instead I came away from this with the most pleasant experience & recommend any plus size bride visit this store!

Dresses- gorgeous. Ease of making an appointment- super easy and they give you so many reminders via text messaging to help you. Consultants- knowledgeable, friendly, supportive, and the best hype women ever.This was my first and last store that I went to for wedding dress shopping. My stylist listened to my vague ramblings and pictures of what I would like in a wedding dress, and she delivered. I got a gorgeous black and nude dress and she was reminding me that I am the bride and this dress is for me, not for others. Women, if you’re plus size, this is the place for you. There’s no body shaming and everyone is here to make you look and feel absolutely beautiful.

As a former bride experiencing this shop as a the sister of the bride, Id say this was an amazing bridal dress shopping experience. My sister was treated with care and attention that helped her feel like the beautiful princess she is. She came in not knowing what to expect considering how disappointing many plus-size/large breast shopping experiences can be. Not here... they cater to these women in such a way that each dress was less about what doesnt fit and more about does it fit your vision. Go here if you want an experience you see on tv...really...much better than the other place everyone goes to.

This shop deserves all this and more. I was visiting Indiana from out of state (WA) to see a friend and she said a shop like this exists so I wanted to swing by and take a look. Our demographic (plus sized brides) where Im from end up with the a much smaller selection that makes this amazing experience less special with those limited options. The ladies as Brides by Young were extremely accommodating and said they had an opportunity to try on later in the day. Of course, I found the one. Kate is superb and made this experience as great as it could be. Im forever grateful for this shop and the time I got to be there!

They scam people out of dresses! Women spend a bunch of money on their wedding dress and then these selfish people alter their dresses 3x too small or 3x too big, literally! Then want you to pay $1,000+ to get it re-altered to fix the job that they purposely did in the first place to make more money

I would recommend this place to every plus size bride not only do they have a beautiful store but the women that work there are all amazing!! I was at crunch time to find a dress due to Covid.. set up an appointment with Brides By Young. Kate is who helped me find my dream dress. When I say she was TRULY amazing, I can’t emphasize that enough. She has a true talent of listening to what you want and delivering the most special dress! My experience with these ladies was perfect. I truly could not have asked for a better team member to help me find my perfect dress. I’m super insecure & it takes me some time to warm up to others but Lauren P. was more than amazing! I felt so comfortable with her instantly and she knew my style within 2 minutes of speaking. Even when I forgot to add in a few details, she picked them up right away.I found my dress only 4 dresses in. Will recommend these ladies, always! You won’t be disappointed!

Over the phone, she told us prepare to find your dress.My bridesmaids and I went in thinking that we were just going to look for styles, prices, ect, but like she said, I found my dream dress.As soon as I put it on, I fell in love. Both of my older sisters used Brides by Young to find their perfect dress, so i knew i wasnt going anywhere else! I absolutely loved my wedding dress shopping experience, which i was not expecting to! Our consultant Kate was so friendly, patient, knowledgable and encouraging. She asked what i was envisioning, and found dresses for me to try on that were incredible. Each time, she asked me what i liked and didnt like, and we narrowed it down to the PERFECT dress i could have ever dreamed of. She put my hair into a quick, cute updo, put on a veil, and gave me a bouquet so i could see the final look. I immediately started crying and knew it was the one! I ended up buying a belt and veil through them as well, and everything was about a THIRD of the budget i had given myself for the dress, so i was thrilled about that! i recommend this place to everyone!!!

I went wedding dress shopping for my aunt and they had gorgeous dresses, the workers were so super sweet, and the dresses werent too overpriced, i mean wedding dresses are expensive of course but still affordable !!

I am 32 years young and have been in 26 weddings. While I am just shy of the well known movie title 27 Dresses, I can obviously say I have been to my fair share of Bridal shops. 😉 Today was finally my turn! I went to a different local bridal boutique to start. “Plus size” dresses were hardly plus sized and not one dress zipped all the way up. I had less than 15 dresses to chose from and was given no shape wear. I was pretty disappointed. However, When I walked into Brides By Young, Allie greeted my with a (mask covered) smile and the warmest welcome. She sat next to me and asked me detailed questions, asked for photos of dresses I loved, took notes and asked each person I brought with me what they saw me in. She hand picked 15+ dresses that HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD! (Trust me...i gave her a workout lugging those dresses in and out) There was a dress that i really liked but it just want THE dress, but it had a sparkle underlay. Allie went as far as pinning sparkle tool under THE dress so I could actually see my vision. She made my dream a reality.As silly as it sounds, she laid each dress on the ground so I simply stepped in, she pulled it up and zipped me in. It was so simply but SO appreciated as I wasn’t “diving into the dress” like the other location. I cannot say enough about the selection of dresses, how clean and neat the shop was and how AMAZING Allie was. I secretly want to her to be my new best friend :)Thank you, Allie and Brides By Young for making today a day that I will NEVER forget

The salon in Indy is incredible. To have a bridal salon that specializes in plus size women is such a wonderful thing. I feel like I didnt just have to settle, I got to choose from a wide variety of gowns until I found the best one for me. The employees are all so nice and extremely knowledgeable as well as fashion forward. Be ready to find your dream dress here! Highly recommend.

Before going to Brides by Young, I had found the dress I knew was going to be mine! I went here only because I was meeting some bridesmaids to get the “dress-try in experience”. I had in mind that I was going to have a strapless and sleeveless dress, however after trying this dress on, I feel in love.The woman who helped me in and out of the dresses was patient, especially when I asked to try a couple of them again. The designer was in the shop that day, so we also got to talk with her a little bit. The dress I fell in love with was JUST missing something - a little sparkle. So the woman who we were working with suggested putting a sequins layer underneath - fantastic! It gave me the sparkle I wanted.The ordering process was stress free. They called when the dress came in and I went to pick it up. When I tried it on, it was missing the sparkly layer I had ordered. When I brought this to their attention, they said I could order the fabric, but I’d have to pay a $15 shipping fee to have it shipped to my seamstress. After explaining it wasn’t my fault the dress didn’t come with the sparkly layer, they waived the fee.They called to confirm that we received the fabric and asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment with their seamstress. I told them I had my own and they suggested that their seamstress would be better because they have the special equipment necessary to alter the dress. I explained to them that I didn’t ask a neighbor lady who happened to have a sewing machine to alter my dress. My seamstress does this for a living and she has her own shop.All in all they have some beautiful dresses! However, their salesperson approach can come off a little negative.

My Brides by Young experience was AMAZING. I worked with Allie, and she was the best bridal consultant I had worked with in the search for my dream dress. She really listened to what I truly wanted in my dress, pulled phenomenal dresses, and kept us as close to budget as possible- thank you first visit discount! The shop is quaint and so adorable- and biggest plus is size inclusive! I would recommend Brides by Young to any bride!

I cannot praise BBY enough! When I called to make my appointment I told them that I was not expecting to buy a dress, I just wanted to try some on and get a feel of my style. They assured me that was perfectly fine, but warned me that many of our brides have the same idea and end up finding their dress.While I went in with an open mind, I still did not expect to find my dress.My consultant, Kate, was amazing and so intuitive. After only FOUR DRESSES, I FOUND THE ONE! I never in a million years would have thought that I would find my dream dress in only a couple hours. I ended up with a dress I never would have thought I would love, and BBY is who I have to thank for that.

I could not recommend Brides by Young enough. I was extremely anxious and dreading trying dresses on, but Brides by Young were incredible every single step of the way. I worked with Allie (pretty sure that’s her name, sorry I can’t remember!). She was amazing, sweet, and just overall so incredible. After hearing horror stories of other plus size brides and their experiences, I am so glad I went to Brides by Young.

My experience at Brides by Young was fantastic. Kate helped me find my dress, she did a wonderful job listening to the things I wanted in a wedding gown. My appointment was during the pandemic and I was only allowed 2 guests with me. As a girl with 3 sisters and parents that all wanted to be there to share in such a special moment, the staff allowed me to switch out my 2 guests during the duration of my appointment so everyone was able to see me try different dresses on. Store was beautiful and the people even more so. The stylists really make the experience about finding what makes you beautiful. As a plus sized woman, its hard to feel that way at times. The stylists help find a dress for your body that will take away any doubt that you arent the most beautiful woman in the world. I personally left there feeling more confident than I have felt in a long time and its due to the inclusiveness and attention to detail that the managers and stylists take.

Allie was incredible. As a plus sized bride, I was SO nervous going into this experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect, other than embarrassment. I, a plus size woman, was so nervous about shopping for a wedding dress. Any other plus size women will feel my pain... I did my research and insisted on going to a bridal shop that celebrated women my size. The experience was fabulous from start to finish. The ladies at the shop were so helpful and know how to treat a person who may be self conscious about their entire appearance. Kate was my consultant. She was fabulous, and I cant thank her enough for making my experience perfect. I found my dress, and surprisingly it was nothing like I thought Id leave with. Kate knows her stuff ;) Since women my size dont have a ton of options, I was expecting to pay thousands upon thousands for a decent dress (guess I watch a little too much Say Yes to the Dress..) Their most expensive dress was $3500, which was a sigh of relief. I felt so relieved that it was a lot less than expected and I could have free range on whatever I chose. I cant wait to write another review 9 months from now showing it off 💜 .. If youre a plus size woman and youre nervous about this process I most definently suggest coming here. You wont regret it. Almost all of their stock dresses were bigger than me and I wear a 24! Soooo dont be nervous itll be like the times they have to manouver a big woman in a tiny dress. Once again, head here! Their selection is incredible and I dont think the price can be beat for the type of quality youre getting! If youre reading this, congrats on getting engaged!!! 🥰

Absolutely amazing experience! I typically wear a size 18 dress so I was very nervous about dress shopping. Brides by Young has an amazing selection of dresses in sizes that were actually too big for me which, let me tell ya, is an amazing feeling!! And my consultant, Allie, figured me out in like 30 seconds. I swear she knew what I wanted before I even fully knew what I wanted. She listened to everything I said about each dress I tried on and was able to find the dress that combined all the little details into one perfect dream dress! So happy this was my first and only dress shopping experience, they really made me feel special!

I had an appointment with Allie at Brides by Young Indianapolis. We arrived early, and she was able to get our appointment started early. We were just planning on looking, definitely did not think we would find THE dress.We were throughly surprised when she pulled several stunning gowns. And she made sure to stay within our budget.She was very attentive and kind, she made me feel comfortable. She was also very accommodating and was happy to let me try on any dresses that caught my eye.The last dress I tried on happened to be THE perfect dress and Allie did amazing to make me feel like a real bride. She found the perfect veil and flowers, she even let me borrow a pair of earrings that matched my engagement ring.Allie was absolutely AMAZING and i will definitely reccomend her to any of my family or friends that are getting married

I bought my wedding dress here on Saturday! Everyone here was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable and beautiful!! I feel as though they went above & beyond to make sure I was nothing but happy! I told them my budget and they were sure to stay exactly in it! I highly recommend this place!! I didnt jive with my first salesperson but I went back to try again. I completely clicked with my second sales person, Allie, and ended up finding my dress. Bridal moment and all. I love that they have sample dresses that ACTUALLY fit me. Instead of me trying to squeeze in two sizes two small and telling me to use my imagination. By the time my appointment was done, Id felt like Allie was the big sister I never had. Sounds a little silly but she made me feel so comfortable. She knew what would make me look like the beautiful bride I was looking to be and I couldnt be more thankful.

Ally was a fantastic representative of Brides by Young! I walked in very unsure of what I wanted. Ally checked out different photos that I had saved on my phone and she walked into the stockroom and pulled 5 dresses. The first dress brought tears to my entourages eyes! After that it was hard to beat because I was comparing the rest to the first dress. After trying on several more I had my selection narrowed down to two. I ended up picking the last dress because of how it complimented my figure. Thank you, Ally and thank you, Young for designing my perfect dress!

Going into my appointment I was not really optimistic about going because it is a plus size bridal boutique and I am a plus size person. I was certain though that this would be the best place near me to find my bridal dress. We got into the saloon and I shared with my consultant, Lauren, about what I was looking for and at first she was getting me dresses with tulle. I was definently not liking those dresses and then we started to go more into the chiffon and sheath dresses and I said yes to the dress! My consultant was amazing and I’m glad we tried on the tulle dresses first so I could have the experience of wedding dress shopping. BBY was my first bridal saloon that I went to and it was the only one I had to go to! Thank you BBY for getting me my wedding dress and for making it a great experience!

Drove from Tn/Ky for our appt during the Covid pandemic...WELL worth the drive! My daughter never felt uncomfortable, and felt she FINALLY had someone that could identify with HER! Kate Ash pulled BEAUTIFUL dresses - any of them would have worked for my daughters wedding....but the very last dress - was THE ONE!!! Kate did an outstanding job!!! The prices are WELL within a budget, that surprised me, FAR BETTER than most wedding boutiques! I wish all wedding boutiques were like Brides by Young...with two daughters getting married 6 months a part....I have been to SEVERAL! Brides by Young has the designers you are looking for, dresses that are EXTREMELY well made, BEAUTIFUL dresses, you will be VERY well taken care of, allow them to take care of you, sit back, enjoy the ride, wipe the tears of joy, and pay for your daughters happiness...it wont be as much as you think - I promise!

I had the best experience at Brides By Young. I came in from out of town and was by myself. The consultant, Allie, not only made me feel comfortable but helped me take photos and FaceTime my mom so she could “be there” with me. Allie listened to me and helped me pick a dress! Great for the curvier bride - even if you are from out of town, go!

I was here with my sister as she tried on wedding dresses. We had a large party with us and they accommodated us all so well. They have such wonderful woman working in there! Never judging, but only uplifting to the bride and always listening to what she and us all had to say. The dresses are beautiful and fairly priced to fit anyone budget! They can fit a big voluptuous woman, down to a lean fit woman! Definitely recommend this place!

Brides by Young provided such a wonderful experience! They pulled dresses that were exactly what I was hoping for, and some beyond my imagination. I really enjoyed my time shopping there and would recommend it to anyone.

Where do I even begin!! Brides by Young or specifically Kate made my dress shopping experience an absolute day of magic. The above and beyond customer service from the moment I made my appointment was unlike any other boutique I contacted. She talked with me, and boy oh boy did she listen!! Every little detail that her and I discussed she listened !! I would HIGHLY recommend Brides by Young. All the girls there will give their all to give you an above and beyond experience !!!

I was interested in a better bridal experience, I looked into so many places and came across Brides by Young. The brands this shop carries are some of my favorites and I knew I had to check them out. I called and discussed what I was interested in and I was told on the phone come prepared to buy your dress. I came in to the shop and we discussed all that I wanted in a dress and in 3 dresses I found the one with so many happy tears. I was a little nervous of not finding a deess and being uncomfortable trying things on but that was not my problem at all! Allie was so helpful in listening to what I wanted and then I had two dresses I loved. The experience was amazing and I know I found the right dress!

I had an awesome experience at Brides by Young! Kate did an amazing job! She asked about my wedding site and what kind of dress I saw myself in and pulled all dresses that were just what I wanted! She almost made it a hard decision with how much I liked a few of the dresses! But she made the experience very enjoyable and did not pressure me to choose a dress until I found the perfect one!

This review is overdue but better late than never! My mom lives over 8 hours away so it makes wedding planning difficult. She was up the last weekend in June and we tried squeezing in as much as possible. I thought I had more time to look for a dress and I wanted to lose weight before shopping. We stopped in at Brides by Young on a whim and were overwhelmingly greeted by Kate! She filled us in on all of the information we needed to know and made us feel so welcomed and excited! She waited for my Mother-in-law to arrive, asked me just a few short questions and returned quickly with the most beautiful dresses! Not only was Kate patient as many pictures were taken (and a few years shed), she was knowledgeable and had great feedback as I tried to pick my dream dress. We saved the best for last and oh my! It was perfect!!! Kate asked me how I was going to wear my hair and quickly whipped my ponytail into an impromptu up do. I tried on veils and more pictures were taken. Kate gave us signs and had us pose by the display wall and of course, more pictures were taken! I could not have imagined a more perfect experience when finding my dream dress thanks to Kate (and anyone behind the scenes) at Brides by Young!

I originally found my dress at another store. That dress did not come in until 2 months before the wedding and was completely wrong. I went into Young’s devastated and with the mindset that I would have to settle for something I did not like because I did not have time. The girl that assisted us at Young’s (with no appointment on a Friday!) was absolutely AMAZING (even with my negative feelings). She made our experience better than I could of imagined due to the circumstances. I walked out of Young’s with a dress in my hands. A dress that I actually liked! This was not the original dress I picked but it’s dress I got and it is beautiful and I am so grateful for the amount of effort this store gave to us. The workers are amazing! The store is beautiful.

I had such a great experience! We just happened to find Brides by Young and I am so lucky I did! I tried on only 2 dresses before finding my perfect dress! The staff was so accommodating and made my dress shopping experience one I will never forget! They truly cared about my preferences and wanted me to find the dress of my dreams! Allie was so sweet and helpful!I had been to 3 other shops previously. All only had 1 dress is the style I wanted, and only 1 store had that dress in my size. The rest were too small.I told Allie exactly what I wanted. She pulled 5 dresses for me, and each was better than the last! I am so thankful she was there to help me find my dream dress!This was definitely worth the 3 hr drive to Indy.

This place was nothing less than AMAZING! Honestly I just went in to look at dresses since I had NO idea what I wanted to look like on my wedding day coming up this may. I wanted an idea so I could go home and look up dresses online for what I thought were reasonable! Upon arriving I was greeted by the nicest woman! She instantly sat with us to get my idea, obviously, not having an idea, she pulled dresses I told her to take control.. Allie was very sweet, helpful and patient! She did amazing.. 5 beautiful dresses later she had one more up her sleeve the 6th dress was it! I FOUND my dress! The prices were EXTREMELY reasonable! To where I wasnt going to leave my dream dress (that I didnt know I had) behind to search elsewhere or online! They worked with me on everything and I cannot wait for my wedding!!😍😍😍😍😍😍 thank you so much!!

I had THE best experience during my appointment at Brides By Young! I was blown away by how welcoming, helpful, patient and knowledgeable my consultant Lauren was. From the minute we walked in for my appointment, I knew it was going to be a great experience. They took the time to listen to what you wanted, what you did not like, what you were worried about and asked great questions to help you figure that all out. I could not recommend Brides By Young anymore highly--you will not be disappointed if you visit!

Where to begin? These ladies are absolutely amazing!!! They make you feel so welcomed and comfortable which was one of my biggest fears when it came to searching for my dress. Brides By Young was our first and only stop. My consultant asked me a few questions and then told me she had just the dress picked out. She had me try on a few dresses first and then pulled out my dress. It was gorgeous and I fell in love. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks so much ladies!!

Brides by Young is AMAZING. This was the first place I tried on a dress and easily the last. Allie was my assistant and by the end of the appointment I felt like we were old friends. She was amazing and gave invaluable opinions/advice. I wish there was an option for 6 stars because that’s what she deserves. The dresses were gorgeous and they had plenty of options in my price range. I highly suggest Brides by Young to any bride who feels their size might limit them. You will NOT be limited here. The whole staff and facility was amazing! 10/10 recommend!

First let me say Lauren was completely wonderful. I had decided to try on wedding dresses while my best friend was in town. I made a last minute appointment (everyone was friendly the day before when they were busy) and prior to I planned to buy a cheaper dress online. Lauren was kind, funny, genuine, and she gave me the bridal moment I assumed I would never have. Lauren honestly made the experience! Every dress I tried on looked amazing. No odd fitting or being unable to pull the bodice up. Being plus sized, half the battle just trying something on. If you keep being unsuccessful or the sample size doesnt fit, who wants to keep going? Not the case at Brides by Young. Found my dream dress. I was nervous and discouraged, but Lauren was the best! They will also work with you budget wise and give you options.

I recently went dress shopping here and they were amazing!!! I had a large group with me and they welcomed us all with open arms! I also had Lauren and when I tell you that she was the perfect person to assist me, I am NOT lying. She has been there since the beginning and the girl knows what shes doing. I had a fabulous experience at Brides by Young. They were super accommodating and very invested in finding the right dress for me. I wasn’t even planning on getting a dress that day, but Chelsea had me try on a few dresses, listened to what I liked and didn’t like about them, and came out the perfect wedding dress. I was really nervous about dress shopping, being a bigger girl. I walked in not knowing what I wanted at all, but knowing what I didnt want. After answering less than 10 questions, Kate knew exactly what Id like, and dress #1 was a winner! It felt amazing that they had so many in house options for me to try and that she really listened to know what I wanted! Im so impressed with this team!
