Between their dwindling customer service and their refusal to offer refunds for expired product (relaxer) and defective hair styling tools (I.e. a hooded dryer that didn’t work straight out of the box) It’s apparent that they do not value their customer base. Their “no refunds” store policy is conveniently placed at waist-level beneath the overhang of the front counter so that it isn’t visible prior to making your purchase. There’s a level of trust that people have when buying beauty products and appliances and STAR BEAUTY has violated my trust for the last time. I hope that you don’t give them the opportunity to violate yours. There are two other beauty supply stores in the immediate area that have kind, helpful staff that will be getting my business from this point forward.

The staff is confused. Person at counter told me they didnt carry what I was looking for, no way no how. The customer behind walked me to aisle loaded with the product. A second employee came out of the back and pulled even more from behind the counter. Still there product not the best quality.

The people treat me harshly

Im not only speaking for myself I’m speaking for every colored person, the people in that store thought me and my friend stole because we are both foreign and they were following us around and then stopped us and said we “put lip glosses in our bras” when all we did was grab the lip glosses we wanted, went to check for edge control and then went to pay and they stopped us and said “you girls stole we saw it on the cameras” my mom said “can I see the footage” they said “we have to call the police if you want to see it” and we left the store because we were sick of it that is so racist and rude because we didn’t do absolutely anything wrong so I don’t recommend that store at all because it is racist and disrespectful and accusing!
