I came to Monro because I had something stuck in my tire causing low tire pressure. They patched my tire and got me in right away. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes. I appreciated that they were direct and didn’t try to sell me new tires like the big discount tire places. Highly recommend Monro!

Had a extremely bad experience here. I took my car in for a diagnostic and came back with a broken window. He literally just handed me the car with the window down and did not say a word about the window being broken. The mechanic even had the nerve to charge me for it. He wouldnt even give help on covering up the window so I can take my infant daughter home in the rain until he was able to get to the car the next day. Then when he fixed the window he smeared oil all over the inside of my interior and broke a piece on the door and attempted to handle the car to me without mentioning that he had broken the part. It has been 3 months already and they still have not replaced the part like they promised. I would avoid coming to this shop at all costs.

Great place! Just needed a flat repair on a long road trip and front staff Capri was super welcoming and explained everything, David was very helpful and polite. Got us up and running again quickly and with a very nice send-off! Would absolutely stop here again.

I had a nail in my tire- I called, got it in, and it was fixed within an hour on a Saturday! The man working the desk was really nice as well. Ill definitely be using them in the future!

The General Manager Justin is amazing. I don’t use this verbiage lightly.He took the time to explain the repairs I needed on my car in a very open and eloquently way. Most important - he took the time to educate me and the other customers.When I approached him about this behavior he told me the follow, “I want everyone to be treated the way I would want my mother to be treated”It wasn’t a corny/prescripted, he believed it and showed it.Kudos to Justin for his Cx and leadership.

Ive come into Monro Auto Service a few times now and every time they do excellent work. Ive had both Justin and Andrew help me when calling and they always answer all of my questions, very knowledgeable. They explain exactly whats going on prior to starting anything and always give very reasonable pricing. I have no complaints and would recommend them to anyone needing tires or auto services.I dont know much about cars and get nervous going to new mechanics but with this specific location on Keystone they were so kind and helpful the very first time I will absolutely continue to come back for future services.

I found this place on Google. Was very impressed with their service and their friendliness. The one thing that stood out besides price was I went in for tires + alignment only. They did my tires and after they did their inspection they didnt try to sell my any extra stuff or services. A normal (read:greedy) shop would have tried to upsell me something I cant afford and thats unrelated to the service I came in for and also non critical. Thank you guys!!

This has definitely become my go-to place for any car issues. Andrew explained the issue thoroughly, was professional, and the repairs were done efficiently and reasonably. Every time I have taken my car there its been as pleasant an experience any car repair can be.

I bought a 2008 Chevy equinox in Terre Haute Indiana and I was bringing it home to the state of New York And I took the vehicle to a place called Belle tire and they told me that this car needed a whole bunch of work after I purchased the vehicle and I was a little hesitant on paying them to do all the work cause I didn’t know if they were actually telling the truth so on a Sunday I called the Monroe muffler in Indianapolis Probably the most Honest Monroe muffler I have ever been to The guy help me in a pinch on a Sunday and I was told one thing by another shop that I need struts I needed to have a whole laundry list done to this car I bought and he said no they were lying to you and he literally told me the one thing needed to be done just a change out oil pressure switch and that was a very cheap fix I will recommend this Munro muffler to anybody in the Indianapolis area very reliable very very quick and I can’t extend my thank you enough and I’m thinking about calling their district manager also and telling them how professional and honest the store was! thank you again -Ethan Payne

They were extremely professional, understanding and accommodating when on Christmas Eve 1pm, (just hours before closing for the holidays), when I called panicked about a flat tire. The day before my friend had suggested getting new tires at Belle Tire, 4 brand new tires Dec 23, and on Dec 24 on my way out the door for a 2 hour drive to celebrate with family out-of-town. To my dismay I found my brand new Belle installed tire front passenger flat as a pancake. My heart sunk. I called Belle and they were closed for the holiday, reopening in two days. The insurance company sent roadside service and that gentleman suggested it could have been the seal or stem. So I searched for tire places open on Christmas Eve most were closing in 10-5 mins before 1:00pm. I saw the high reviews for Monro and it wasn’t far to drive on a spare. They were able to fit me in, identifying the problem, and fix the valve stem bit (I’m not auto lingo savvy), put the new tire back on, and I was in my way. If I ever need tire/service again I’m returning to Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers at 4706 N Keystone Ave, 46205

I called to get an estimate on an borla exhaust for my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado because they were listed as a borla dealer.The person over the phone told me they had never heard of borla and I would have to bring my truck in for an estimate because all exhaust are custom and I tried to explain to him that this is a bolt on kit and he was having none of it....These guys are Jokers

He has earned my business moving forward.My wife and I drove a used car off a dealer’s lot just 5 days ago. 130 miles in we started experiencing brake noise. We are leaving to go out of state to visit family tonight and Justin got me in within an hour before they closed. He drove the car himself and allowed me to take a look at what he was diagnosing once he got it on the lift. The issue leading to the brake noise was not a functional issue and he told me that if it were his car he would continue to drive it until it needed new pads and rotors, which would then solve the issue.Justin did not try to sell me anything unnecessary and gave me his personal opinion and expert advice (for free). We appreciate his honesty and will be back with both our cars!

The service and prices have always been great, and Im usually in and out in under an hour for most services. Additionally, theyve never tried to sell me anything that I didnt need for my car, which I very much appreciate.

I came here because I found a screw in my tire and needed to have it patched. I decided on Monro because of the great reviews I found when searching online and the reviews were right. Justin and his staff are very knowledgeable and helped me out quickly. Made an appointment for 9:30 for an oil change. Waited ten minutes and still wasnt even greeted, so I left. I got a call from the manager shortly after who apologized for the problem and offered to give me a free oil change for my trouble. While i didnt enjoy having my to skip my oil change today I was impressed with the level of professionalism with their follow up.

Excellent shop with efficient and professional staff. Their prices are competitive and they dont try to push repairs which arent necessary.

My husband and I took our cars in for an oil change and tire rotation back in January 2020. We had appointments for both cars. It took them at least an hour and half to get both cars done on a Sunday morning as we watched from the waiting room. On my car, the technician took his time and it seemed like it was a normal oil change/tire rotation. On my husbands car, the technician did the oil change in about 5 minutes with my husband noting that he did not look at the dipstick after replacing the oil. It was very rushed. We got our cars, and mine had greasy hand prints all over the steering wheel and door handle. It was disgusting. My husband recently went to a different place for an oil change, and his oil was 1-2 quarts lower than it should have been with no oil leaks. The service back in January was sloppy and rushed, even though they had our cars for well over 90 minutes. It was like they forgot that they needed to finish and then rushed to get us out. We have already taken our cars elsewhere for better attention.

I had a plate dragging from under my car. I knew, it should have been an easy fix, but was also concerned with being overcharged for something that probably took 5 minutes to fix. They could have easily charged me $50-100 and I probably would have paid. They didnt charge me a penny. Very honest! Highly recommend. Sorry Im late with review Justin.

Ive owned 5 used cars so far and of all the mechanics Ive been to this is the only one I trust now. Prices can be up there but if you want to know a job is done right its always worth it. I cant even think of a better place to go these days.

Monros has excellent service every time we go. They always explain exactly what they have done and frequently show us the repairs they make on our vehicles. They have fixed mistakes from other mechanics for us at rates that are 1/3 of what we paid to have it fixed the first time. They pride themselves on quality, honest work. Their prices are always the best Ive seen for the quality of work they do. It is very rare these days to find a mechanic you can really trust, but Monros are the guys!

I needed some new tires. I called the store and spoke to Justin who explained the options I had. I ended up ordering some tires online and shipping them to the store. He called me as soon as they came in. I was in and out in less than an hour! Fantastic service!

I heard unexpected grinding in my car on a Sunday afternoon, they were one of the only places open. The mechanics got me in immediately and were thorough. They took the time to talk to me about the problem and it felt much friendlier than a larger chain. The issue ended up being some debris stuck in the wheels so they did not even charge me for their time. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience. I dropped my car off Saturday around 8:30 (no appointment) and they had the muffler replaced within 2 hours. They quoted me at $500 which is a steal compared to the dealership that quoted me at $1300. The car is driving great now and the part has a lifetime warranty! Also, the manager is super friendly and even gave me a recommendation for a windshield repair shop.

YIKES! - made an appointment yesterday and when I came in today the guy who made the appointment with me acted like I was a bother because they’re busy. Didn’t even take my keys until 30 minutes of waiting. Am currently here and the two guys working are yelling profanities at each other. I can hear you! Have now been here over an hour and 45 minutes for a basic oil change on my Honda CR-V. When entering my information in the computer, the guy was spitting profanities under his breath. Really uncomfortable as I’m the only other one in the room! Now a homeless man is asking me for money in the lobby. No one is making him leave. Wow it keeps getting worse. Will never be coming back.

Efficient, Open, and Honest. I was told my brake fluid was low by another car company and though they recommended someone else, I went to this company instead. They quickly saw my car, showed me my brakes, explained the fluid levels, and told me I did not need any work done, and didnt charge me anything for the labor. Highly recommend and will go back!

I went here for a standard Oil change with my previous car, which was having a few issues. The mechanics were amazing; they didnt hide the ball. They were upfront about what they could fix and the costs. They were fair and knowledgeable. And the price was more than fair. As long as I am in Indy, they will service my vehicles.

They have great prices and their employees were polite and helpful. I have a 1990s car, that had a very noticeable exhaust leak (loud, smelly). I always shop around, and a few places were telling me that they would charge $250 - $400 to fix it, and that their diagnostic fee was $60 - $80 just to look at it! Monro Muffler only charged $20 (approx) which is fair, because they even showed/explained the issue before fixing it. They also gave me the total price to fix it ($110 w/ tax for my car problem and type), which only took an 1.2 hours. Its been two weeks, and Ive had no issues with the work so far. I dont anticipate any either.I know this was a really good price because prior to having my car fixed, I asked a trusted mechanic friend look at it. He told me what it would take to fix it and an approximate cost (he doesnt weld unfortunately). Monro Muffler was so spot on versus all other shops, that I decided to go with them that day.

The 96th street location is the best. The staff is always pleasant and professional. I am always able to make my service appointments online and receive confirmation that my appointment has been booked. The shop is always clean and organized.

I took my truck there for the first time to get a oil change there is only one guy there that is working. The guy who did my oil change didn’t screw my cap on correctly and lost the rubber that is located at the bottle of the cap my truck requires 9 quarts of oil I lost 3 quarts and all of the oil got into my alternator and caused it to go out. I had videos and pics of everything and sent it to corporate. Which they did reimburse me for the labor and parts.Eric is very rude I told him about what happen he told me to call corporate and they willnt do anything about it. It’s all about customer satisfaction.

I got 4 brand new tires from Monro tire on March 31st. I’m writing this review on April 24th. I blew a tire out today in NW Indiana. Called Monro and talked to someone who said it would be “very possible” to get the new tire switched under warranty today.Drove 50 miles on the spare so I could go to this Monro only to arrive and have Eric, the manager, tell me it probably wasn’t possible to do today. He said he’d have to “take me keys and give me call later.” Mind you, I had to go back up to NW Indiana still, and was just looking for him to possibly do it in an hour like he said originally — I also had a used tire he could’ve just flipped around real quick for me — nope!Frustrated, I left. I went around the corner to 46th Street Tire where Rudy absolutely hooked it up. Took my used tire and swapped the rim out for the new tire in 10 minutes.I won’t be coming back to this Monro Tire location. I strongly urge anyone who is considering this place to go elsewhere. This place stinks. They’re not only unaccommodating, but they’re also just unfriendly.

Hidden gem on Keystone... just 2 buildings north of CVS on 46th street.Walmart tried to sell me a new tire. Knew it just needed plugged. Monroe Auto was open on Sunday and took care of it !

I came in expecting to need new brake pads as i heard some squeaking. Justin, the manager, explained that we didnt need brake pads and explained where the squeaking was coming from. Most places would just charge you for brake pads you dont need, but not these guys! Ill definitely be back!
