We had fun shopping for our Halloween items. They had almost everything we needed. The employees were friendly and helpful.

Today we visited Party City in Independence and had the best customer service ever. An employee named Grant went above and beyond to be friendly and help. This was someone who seemed eager to work, answer questions and help find things. He was kind and friendly to others as well and was going out of his way to help them too. I thought it was important to acknowledge him, because it is so refreshing to walk in a store and feel appreciated for your business. It just makes the shopping/party planning experience better.

The balloon station lady’s where amazing at helping us decide and organize our balloons for my daughter’s birthday party. They even DELIVER FOR FREE if the order is over a certain amount!!! They were very helpful - just don’t forget your coupons cus u need a manager to go back and get the credit :(

Had a great experience at party city.I was looking for a particular item, but they didnt carry it. The manager was extremely helpful in ascertaining that, then recommended exactly where to go elsewhere to find it and gave me directions. I did end up finding what I needed, and felt very thankful to the amazing manager of party city for helping me out!

No Nerf party supplies (or anything similar). They do however have a great selection. You can definitely go there and get what you need to wing and awesome birthday party for a 8 year old.

I come here whenever I’m having any type of party. I love the variety of balloons they have. I believe due to the pandemic a lot of times things are out of stock and that’s annoying. But other than that this is my go to spot. I did only give it 4 stars bc it can become pricey. I wish it was a one stop shop for me, but I usually find myself think man I can go to ______ and get it cheaper. But if I waited till the last minute and I’m in a rush I will go ahead and spend the extra money. Which is rare. This staff is usually nice and helpful

Was dissapointed, but do understand the situation. Was looking for specific color of party ware for bridal shower. Very limited variety in colors and shower options. This forces one to do online shopping.

Went to get some balloons for my grand sons birthday. They had so many to choose from. Also had some holiday balloon bouquets already to go. They were so cute!

Really like the people who work at the Independence store. They helped make our gender reveal very special.

Scan and Go option is amazing. No long lines to wait in. I was able to get my chiefs balloons and plates in a timely manner and bounce.

The day before Halloween 2020, my daughter ordered a bunch of stuff. One of the items was a hippie mustache. We ordered it as curb side pick up. I picked up the orders and when we got home the hippie mustache wasnt in the package. I called the store and the manager immediately helped me. She didnt question what I was telling her. She went and checked to see if there was another hippie mustache in stock. She snagged the last one for us and brought it out to us on our second trip back to the store. She was AWESOME!!! Im sorry I didnt get her name, BUT I will for sure go back to this location because of the amazing customer service!

Party City almost always has what I need in the way of getting ready for a party, holiday, birthday, etc. Best place to get 🎈 Balloons! I needed non traditional Christmas color bows & ribbon.

They didnt have a big option for wedding stuff. Their prices were high, but the staff was nice and helpful when needed.

Place was pretty standard. Didnt have the gold coins I was looking for though.

Ive never been inside a colder party city. Not industrial cold, just temperature cold. It seems strangely empty these days - lots of spare space inside. Maybe theres just less stock because of the virus. Still plenty to choose from though. Very clean.

Employee got into an altercation with customer. She was yelling and antagonizing customer and had to be held back by other employees. Once incident had calmed down, she came back yelling and escalating the situation. Manager had to tell her numerous times to go to the back

It was probably two weeks before Halloween. I however was not there looking for Halloween decorations I was looking for party decorations for a 40 year old male. Not much to choose from. I was really disappointed. However if I had been looking for Halloween I could have found about anything I wanted.

Well, I kinda slacked on getting the last few items for my sons wedding,I was in a panic, and obviously one of the employees notice the look on my face.she came up and asked if there was anything she could do to help me, told her what I was needing, she pointed me in the right direction, and within 10 minutes, I had every thing I needed..and was on my way! She was super AND a life saver!!❤️

Website on returns says different date than what your snarky employee told me. Glad I was “still” able to do my return so I can spend my money elsewhere! Amazon here I come.

They had the costume my daughter wanted. Took all of 10 minutes to find someone to get it, her try it on and me purchase it. RECOMMEND!

Awesome place for party supplies. Friendly customer service, helpful, knowledgeable process ere very reasonable. It had everything you could possibly want for parties and more. There was even in store specials that were not advertised.

Was one of best places to get cards for all occasions, now theyve done away with all their cards.

They are redoing store, so things were hard to find. Didnt find things I needed. Hopefully soon it will be back to normal.

I ordered both medium and large helium filled balloons at the last moment, and while I was gathering other party goods I needed the crew had the balloons filled and ready to go in less than fifteen minutes! And it was a busy Saturday! Thanks Party City!!!

This place is NOT what it use to be. Was very disappointed today when we made a special trip for our little ones birthday and they did not have helium. They really don’t give you anything for the inconvenience other then suggestions to the lee summit store which is out of the way, or go to the grocery store to get them filled. I did not think that would be a big deal but then went to get them filled at the grocery store and found out that it is a common occurrence with Party City and we ended up having to pay a bunch more just to get them filled. Bad management that it’s a party store and they apparently can’t keep helium in the store to fill up their expensive balloons. We won’t be back.

Good selection on things you would need for parties. They sell some toys too Incase you need a gift. Only thing is the wait time if you buy balloons is astronomical. If you plan on buying balloons, order in about an hour before you get there

Great place. Bought a helium balloon and before I could get it home it popped. They replaced it for free.

Online pick up in store is fast and easy

Huge store full of party supplies for every holiday, occasion and celebration, in every color of the rainbow. Also, costumes and wigs galore, also in many styles and colors. Loses one point because it is thousands of square feet -- the size if a warehouse store like Sams -- and it has NO electric carts for disabled customers. Surprised nobody has brought an ADA lawsuit, but maybe they just dont care that disabled folks cant shop there.

You can find what youre looking for and staff is usually very helpful. I was in Sunday for graduation balloons, they were very busy but got me in and out very quickly.

Disappointed in Party City. They cut down their store by at least half. So now they dont have near the selection they used to. Think Im done trying to shop there any more after todays disappointing trip. ☹️

Huge space, organized well.

Tried to find a special balloon for my Sons party and settled for a different. Paid 6.00 for a single baloon only to have the helium slip out of it within 24 hours. So the first associate wasnt experienced enough, then the Manager was helpful but at the end of the trip money versus time spent 38 minutes to get a baloon wasnt pleasant.

These people were awesome help me put balloons together for my daughters birthday very helpful and very funny
