I’d rather not speak on the things that may or not take place at this location. Great customer service and friendly faces. Not sure about the practices due to the fact that my car left the shop with more problems than it arrived with. They are willing to work with you on payment arrangements and don’t charge a lot fee. Not my go to shop in case of emergency repairs. I’m no mechanic but I understand the fundamentals of my vehicle to know when somethings off.

I have brought both cars here multiple times. Fair prices, great customer service. I highly recommend, especially to anyone that is not car savvy and needs an honest mechanic.

Brought my truck in because I thought it was leaking coolant. $1200 and two days later, I still had a leak. Also, they broke my harmonic balancer and charged me for it. Also broke my ABS sensor and denied it until I showed them the fresh break.Would offer no refund, instead set me up to come back to do the job they were supposed to do. I took my truck to a trusted mechanic and he said it wasnt even a coolant leak but a more dangerous oil leak. Today I call to confirm tomorrows appointment and they lost my appointment. Then he tells me the ONLY mechanic this mechanic shop has is sick and will be back in sometime in the future.No thanks. Shader than an old oak tree. Avoid like crazy. Ive talked to 5 random people about this place from the KC metro to Blue Springs to Warrensburg and somehow ALL of them know what I didnt know - this place is to be avoided. I wouldnt trust them with an oil change. Calling BBB today.

Not sure why theres a few people complaining about the new owner. While I do miss Khaled, I think the new owner is doing very well with the business. Theyve also still got the same mechanics so Im also not sure why theyre saying the service is different. Every time I come in, theyre always so nice to me and they dont try and take advantage of me. Theyve properly assessed my car any time I had an issue with it. I genuinely feel In good hands every time I go in. They are definitely female friendly and that is a bonus because I went to firestone before and they most certainly are not! Solid service every time! I highly recommend these guys!

Had rear brakes done here on my Silverado . The business was sold shortly after, and the new owner wouldn’t warranty any work done by the old owner as I had paid cash and apparently it wasn’t in the system . .Only one side of my rear brakes were done . The remaining parts were left in my rear seat as the tech felt that side “had sufficient pad remaining” . Old owner told new owner he wasn’t going to do anything about it . Strings were pulled, and my truck was “fixed” . But I was told no further warranty would be offered.Fast forward to today, the rear brakes are gone out AGAIN, in lass than a year . so I took it to a different shop. They found the entire rear brake hardware and shoes were destroyed by being installed incorrectly . 330$ later, I have SAFE brakes CORRECTLY installed .Can’t recommend Precision Tune to anyone these days . It was a lot better when the old owner was in charge.Guarantee I won’t get my money back for the failed install and corrective replacement rework, so everyone will know about this ...Edit - in response to the owners reply . The parts I provided, were the parts that were not installed in the first place . They were left in the rear seat by the tech, who only replaced one side of the rear axles components. They were originally provided by precision tune, not by myself.It was returned so the shop could install the omitted side that they were PAID to do the first time around, and hook up the parking brake that worked when I brought it, but was left tied to the frame when I picked it up the first time . This was discovered when chasing down a new rattle, that was the cables ends .The parts that were installed were not installed correctly, leading me to today’s issues and complete brake system replacement on the rear axle.My number is in the system if you would like to call me and discuss this further . I look forward to hearing from you .

I definitely would trust this place took our work truck there last year. After that our truck started acting up and about a month later couldnt drive it no more. I saw a guy while waiting reving on the engine sooooooooo hard I immediately knew we were going to have problems out of it later and we did. It was a good truck but they damaged something and we definitely didnt trust taking it back for anymore work

The recent change in ownership has negatively affected this business. Had been going to this shop for over 5 years getting work done and never had any issue and their prices competitive. Recently brought car in for a check engine light. Turns out the air box had broken and they needed a new one. After multiple days of them trying to find the part they could not. They then called the Infiniti dealer and quoted me the part at $700 and labor of $100 for an hour. I called the Infiniti dealer service department to find out the part number so i could see if I could find one online. I found the part online at a different Infiniti dealer for $330 and order it so that this shop could put it in. I called and setup appointment to have the part installed and was quoted the hour of labor. When i went to pick up the car i was charged $150 for labor instead of $100. I was told the extra $50 was because i brought in an outside part. I informed the manager that i was not quoted that price and i was told I was out of luck as it was not him that had quoted that price. It sad to see a business not stand behind the word of their own employees. I will not be returning to this business and based on recent reviews i am not alone.

I went in for oil change and alignment. I didnt need the alignment and he rotated my tires. This is the ONLY place i let work on my car. They are as honest as the day is long. Very professional and affordable. They are not out to hose you. Alot of places see women come in and try to take them for all they can but not these guys. I love this honest professional service i get here and i will be back should my car need a professional persons attention. Highly recommend.

The guy who took care of me let me know I just needed it replaced and should consider getting the other front tire replaced as well. Was super nice and FAST. This repair shop has zero credibility. They put parts on my car incorrectly and used old and second-hand parts on my car. I asked repeatedly if the vehicle was safe to drive and they told me yes. Eventually my brakes failed and another mechanic was able to point out all of the wrongs that had been done to the vehicle. The employees are great at lying to your face. Beware.

These guys are awesome. I had multiple things go wrong on my car all in one week and they got me in quickly and gave me great pricing. They also went above and beyond in explaining things that would probably go wrong in the future since I have an old car and giving me an upfront price on what they would charge me when the time came. I had my oil changed and shifter fixed, it took them two times to fix my shifter and they still didnt get it right. I took my truck in today because it had a knock, they tpld me it had no oil in it. And said 8000 miles is to long any car would burn up all the oil. I later googled it and it says normally 5000 to 7000 is when you chamge it. Ive never this problem before, and once I metioned my lawyer they ordered me to get my truck off thier lot. Unwilling to take any ownership even though they have an errand guy working in the shop.shady work at best, rude as ever, just all around unprofessional...

These people at Precision Auto in Independence Missouri on 23rd street are amazing! They are affordable, thorough and good at what they do. Ive been going to them a couple of years now but today they outdid themselves. My car needed an expensive part and I couldnt afford it but they called around and found one that was within my budget. They not only fixed my original problem but fixed my heater too and found the part and fixed it all within 3 hours. They even took me home so I wouldnt have to wait at the shop and they picked me up when it was done! I live real close so it was no problem. Go here for your car needs! I recently had my new tires installed for my car. The tires I bought were run-flat tires. I called several shops before this one. Those shops said they couldnt install my run-flat tires because the tires are too stiff for their machine. I called Precision Tune and theyve installed it with no problem and did an excellent job. Great business!!! Very professional work. My tires were low profile tires by the way too.

This i is regarding Rick. If I could rate them a 0 Star I would. My husband needing help pressing our wheel wheel bearing into the hub. They pressed it knowing it had no snap ring (that we had accidentally forgot) and he didnt make us aware of that at all even after leaving with the part. Monday morning comes around where we can call and ask them if they put a snap ring on it because obviously driving our vehicle that way our axle would break with our small children inside of it..they let us know if we wanted to bring it back up there it would be $140and how they did understand and realize there was no snap ring on it but never cared to give us a call and ask to bring that part of the part up there or if we wanted to replace it then but then have the audacity to try to charge us triple he price of pressing the original .....SACMMM Ill never recommend anyone here!!

Always fix my issues

This place is absolutely horrible !!!.. I took my SUV at this shop for a safety Inspection and an oil change and 2 days later my left front tire was making a loud thumping noise and my oil filter light wouldn’t go off. I had to stop at the nearest shop to see what to problem was with my vehicle and they told me my tire was so loose that it was about to fall off. They tighten back up my lug nuts and reset my oil filter light. This was my first visit to this particular location and it will definitely be my last!!!!

My husband and I went in yesterday to get my car inspected. We had an excellent experience!! The man that did the inspections could get to my car right away and didnt delay. He was professional, timely, and just a nice guy. How many times can you say that about mechanics or car shops?? We had such a great experience, we are going to return with our other car for an inspection! We were in and out in about 15 minutes!

Really busy place

My girlfriend and I have been taking our vehicles here for the past few years now. We like the fact that these guys lay out all the options for you and let you choose the one that works best for your budget, without trying to up-sale you something you dont need. I just moved to Independence and I am so excited that there is a Precision Tune Auto here! I had such good service at the previous one and this one continues that awesome reputation! They have great competitive pricing with quality parts and guys that know what theyre doing. Ive been having issues with my Saturn and today they had to inspect the electrical because of my turn signal not working. At first it seemed to be a bulb issue, but it turned out to be much more serious. I was told what needs to be replaced and they did not charge me to look at it, even though it took them an hour. These guys kept me informed through the whole process of having my engine repaired. They made sure to let me know any issues that had arised and cost and options for it.

These guys fixed my clutch in Record time when I was in KC! They were super friendly and fast! I was able to get back to Oklahoma on time thanks to them. They even topped off my oil at no extra charge!!

To make a very long story short. I brought my car here to beer repaired shortly after I had my son. Somehow when I went to pick my car up after they told me it was ready it started overheating. I was not having that problem before. The car stopped not even 4 miles away from the shop after picking it up. It put myself and my newborn sons life in danger. They said they were willing to fix whatever had happened to it so I had it towed back to their shop. Now they are stating that they arent going to. I have proof that the car wasnt having that problem before so they will be getting sued. All I wanted was my car fixed before my maternity leave is over. As a single parent of two and still making payments on a car that I cannot drive has created a huge hardship for myself. Especially after spending all of the money I had on having them repair it before.

My car was having severe power/acceleration issues, rough idle & engine noise. I made a very specific list of what I wanted done & called for quotes, $965.00. Rick called 2 hrs after I dropped it off to tell me of several items on my list that I DIDNT need, dropping the cost to $609.00. That is the definition of integrity. They could have charged me the $965 and I would never have known the difference. Theyve got my business from here on out!

COULDNT BE HAPPIER WITHBTHE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Im from Minnesota and my alternator went out. Needed to get to Dallas ASAP, even tho they were super busy Rick moved some things around and.got me in right away. The price was more than fair!! I usually dont do big name shops Im a Mom n Pop kind of shop guy...but Rick is a throw back. He went out of his way for me and saved my trip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Rick if youre reading this thanks again and if you make it to Minnesota again get that line in the water lol

Spent $179. and car is still the same as when I took it in to have them fix the heater. Still dont work and it cost $178 because they put fluid in there they said. Ugh. Never again

My steering wheel was shaking back and forth as I drove. Didnt know what the problem was. I took it in in the middle of the day without an appointment. 1.5hrs later he called back and said he just rotated the tires. He only charged me $10 for the rotation when he could have easily and justifiably charged the hourly rate of $89. The owner worked on the cars and is a nice guy. 10 out of 10, would use again.

They were rude. I question the dollar amount that they were charging on my brother-in-laws car which has a severe learning disability. The Man became rude and told me that they put on the gold and Im like okay I can go buy the same parts for a 4th of what youre charging them. He began to try to insult my intelligence by telling me I didnt know what I was doing or how to even work on a car. Also made the comment well maybe you should do it yourself and I said and then I can. As I explained to him that my last name is Edelbrock I have worked on cars my entire life and we do high performance cars we are Racers I can repair a car and I can rebuild a motor better than he could ever think of so the insulting of my intelligence and trying to demeanor me was not acceptable. So I would never recommend it going to Precision Tune and Independence on 23rd Street ever when someone can stand there and insult you. Oh thats right hes probably the owner. Oh thats right hes not even the owner hes a franchise so he has to answer to corporate which I am calling. And I will be sharing all of this information on all of my social media accounts I do not recommend this place to anyone because they are ripping you off.

Not as a fault of theirs, the air conditioner stopped working... they got us in as soon as they could and fixed it free of charge... because THEY HONOR THEIR WARRANTY!!!Because I was in a different vehicle, Kal took the time from his busy day and personally delivered our vehicle to my house!!!Kal, Rick, and the rest of their crew are top notch!I highly recommend them!!!
