I love this place! We try to come here once a week. Everything I have ever had on the menu was delicious. I am a simple coffee drinker, and the coffee was great. The atmosphere is very welcoming and logistically impressive. Even when every table is full, you can feel comfortable that you have enough space and privacy to carry on a conversation or study or whatever you may want to do.

Relaxing coffee atmosphere, great friendly staff and of course wonderful coffee drinks! More affordable prices than those big coffee chains.

I drink a lot of coffee from many different places, some good and some bad. This place though, is amazing! I first tried a shot in the dark from the first location on N. Main Street and it was good. The other location in the Hospital is also good. I really like the new place on 12th and Main. It shares the same building as Clayworks and Disability Support. Overall, the coffee is great and atmosphere is enjoyable.

Very friendly staff. Coffee was good. Everything was clean and comfortable. This is a well planned space. Clean restroom. I love the gallery space and the opportunity this provides for adults with disabilities.

I usually just get a cup of black coffee when i go to any coffee house. Their coffee was better than any cup of coffee Ive gotten at any Starbucks. Highly recommend a visit!

Their employees are the best in town, always strive to take care of you, and Joe and his group know how to do coffee! Add to the fact they have moved into the most beautiful art center in this part of Kansas and you have an outstanding coffee recipe. He has had years of training as a top notch barista who then passes that knowledge on to his crew. Their coffee is still the best! Holy moly this place is beautiful. Not only did they build a beautiful store, but it is surrounded by the most gorgeous art!

We love this place! The decor is modern but homey and the wait staff was friendly. I highly recommend the jalapeno biscuits and gravy. Their veggie breakfast wrap was unique and flavorful. Dont leave without a blueberry muffin! Great coffee (red eye in particular), so definitely support this locally-owned coffee shop.

I was home visiting my family and this was a good place to grab a cup of coffee and catch up. The booths are a little worn down but there are lots of cute signs and decor. Great coffee option the altered a sandwich to make it vegan for me and my parents really liked their meal overall nice little coffee stop!

Comfortable and clean location. Modern and visually appealing. Coffee was great, owners service was fabulous. WiFi connects easy and is secure. Plug ins at every table.

Very enjoyable. Tried the Devlin burger, hands down the best burger in town. Its a burger with very tender and tasty roast beef, bacon, egg and cheese, WOW! So big I could only eat half. Could not even get to the fries. Then added a Irish coffee that was oh so good. Highly recommended.

This place is my third home, like Joe says. I love the drinks there, but mostly I love the people. Joe and his staff have bent over backwards for me, always welcoming me, making great drinks, having coloring nights, and making gluten free cookies for me. Stopping in at Scuttlebutts, whether its just to grab a drink, or whether its to stay for a few hours, always is a bright spot in my day. I leave feeling refreshed because Ive gotten to step back from the craziness of life for a bit and breathe. Thank you so much Scuttlebutts!!

Scuttlebutts at Clayworks is a thoughtful idea! Made my drink just like I asked and didnt even mind when I couldnt make my mind up. I even ordered cider which is not on their menu! Please add cider!

Great service and fabulous décor, but mixed coffee drinks we got were WAY too sweet and we couldnt really taste any coffee in them. Tasted like they filled half the cup with the flavor syrup. The food was presented wonderfully, but was only so so. Chicken was a bit dry and lacked any real flavor from the sauce on it.Probably wont return since there are better places to get coffee drinks in Hutch.

Extremely good coffee and strawberry lemonades. A great relaxing environment and friendly staff. They also make a great panini, but at times they can be slow.

Weve enjoyed lunch a couple of times and have heard good things about breakfast and I was excited to learn they are now open for dinner. However, they only serve hamburgers for dinner on Thursday night and not gourmet hamburgers either. Very disappointed in the meal and the waitstaff. Overpriced for the meal we were served.

The food was good (dinner) but a Facebook post stated dinner would start at 5 pm on the day we went. One person in our party ordered chicken fried steak at 5:30 and was told she couldnt order it until 6. Even when shown the Facebook post, no dice on the chicken fried steak. Ordered alternate food, told they were out of hamburger buns. Ordered alternate bread. They forgot to bring it the two year olds meal of chicken strips when the adults meals were brought out. Twenty minutes later the kids meal came out and the chicken was raw in the center and was sent back. Another twenty minutes later, after the adults shared meals with child and we were finished the kids meal finally came out. Asked for box for the kids meal and our ticket, twenty minutes later we had to go find a box and our ticket so we could pay and leave. Nothing was offered for the kids meal fiasco and service was lousy. The food, other than the kids meal was good, but the experience was horrible.

I never tried this coffee place until about a few days ago because I was skeptical about trying it out by the bad rumors I had heard about this place ever since they opened, but I decided I would go on and try it out to see if the rumors were true It turns out the rumors are very true. The drink I ordered tasted watered down with hardly any quality to it. I went back up front and told the lady behind the counter about my drink and she gave me attitude and acted like I was wrong for thinking the drink was made poorly. It took a log time for them to make me a new one as I waited for some time. When I got my drink, it tasted almost the same as it did the first time. Frustrated, I left on the spot as it was not worth my time trying to have them remake it again while dealing with more attitude. Their people skills and customer service is really sad This is the worst experience Ive ever had from any coffee establishment. Now I for sure know the bad reviews and bad rumors of this place were accurate all along. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else for drinks.
