I always go out of my way for some Piper and Leaf at Lowe Mill! The tea flavors are always top notch, and the seasonal creations are always worth a try (and a repeat visit to get more 😉). I still think about the Cherry Christmas Hot Chocolate and hope it makes a return this Holiday Season! My everyday favorite is the classic Front Porch Special, and it never does me wrong! I also love the boba additions!

This place had the sweetest barista who was willing to replace our tea free of charge if we didnt like it. We loved our tea with no problem, but she was so sweet!

We took the family to Piper and Leaf at Lowe Mill in Huntsville, Alabama. It was another great experience. You can smell the wonderful teas as you enter the cafe. The family enjoyed their Sweetie Pie Chai iced tea and I enjoyed their specialty coffee. The staff is pleasant and helpful and the ambiance is mellow and classic.

Neat place, I recommend if youre nearby to stop by and see the wonderful shops and people

A real gem in the Lowe Mill for your basic coffee needs to boba tea and artisan crafted teas. The staff here is extremely friendly and patient for first timers as the menu items and ordering can be slightly overwhelming. They also offer boba tea on Saturdays!

This is one of my favorite places in Huntsville. The tea is amazing, the staff is always friendly, the ambiance is always inviting and relaxing, and the music played is awesome!

Id have to say Im partial to the Lowe Mill location because Jeremy can be like a tea-dealer and have you addicted to his awesome concoctions. In the winter a hot Monks Meditation blended with Chai & ...and a splash of almond milk will send all your troubles away. Yet the spring only has you looking forward to Sassafras Strawberry & a host of sweet flavors icy cold. If you have a hankering for a hot tea be sure to stop by Qs all things woven and artsy shop on the 2nd floor of Lowe Mill to get a one-of-a-kind Koozie for your Piper & Leaf Mason jar because they dont serve hot drinks in your jar without a koozie. After you get a hot one, you WILL see why!! The flavor and temp. lasts quite a while & no watered down flavor when you nix the ice!!. Where else can you get a pint of goodness for that price AND it be natural?

Absolutely delicious tea! Their summertime chai is the best chai Ive ever had, and Ive been tasting every chai I could get my hands on for half my life. The staff are always super friendly and nice, and its so fun to try the samples! A bit pricey, but for the quality, flavor, and re-steep potential, totally worth it! Id love it if they started offering soy, coconut, or oat milk in addition to almond milk. Got to have the frothers and am lactose intolerant but I dont like almonds.

As a first time customer and someone who doesnt drink tea all too often, I really appreciated being run through the menu and having everything explained out to me. It was a really cool and extremely pleasant experience. My tea tastes great too so definitely a great place to check out!!

This is a great small business. Its family run and invested in the local community. When visiting we even happened to meet one of the founders and get a small tour including how they were founded, how they make teas, and maybe the coolest thing - how they develop new flavors. That said, their tea is also out of this world good. I was only visiting the area, but ended up walking out with an armful of teas to take home.

As a Brit who is mad about all things tea I was excited to discover this spot. Tucked away in the rear courtyard of Lowe Mill, on the dock, this place has a calm and peaceful atmosphere. They have a wonderful selection of teas of all different varieties, all of which have remarkably imaginative names. I ordered one called Monks Meditation, which apparently contained catnip! It was delicious.The service is excellent and the staff encourage tasting the different teas before settling on one. They know their stuff.Seating is limited, but there are spots outside on the dock where one can sit and enjoyed a quiet beverage. I highly recommend this place.

They have every possible tea flavor you never knew you needed. Not only that, but you can have your tea any way you like: hot, cold, sweet, unsweet, bubbling, frothed or with cream. I love spending an afternoon or evening sipping tea here - the atmosphere is so welcoming. And I love that they incorporate so much of the local community into their business. 💗

Piper & Leaf has been a great place and a cozy establishment since my first visit. I regularly go on Tuesday every week being from Florence, as it is a bit far, but Im always pleasantly surprised on every trip and the assortment in teas is just phenomenal. I always ask for an iced tea no matter the weather because they are simply so well made and full of flavor. Maybe open one in Florence some time soon? That would be wondrous and a little slice of paradise for my work week commutes. My trips to the Lowe Mill location, however, are worth every minute I take getting there. Cant wait to come by again next week!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The tea they made for me was great and the two I have tried since bringing leaves home have been great. The shop was a little awkward to navigate as it is sloped since I had a stroller but the staff helped me get in and out so it worked out fine (may have been a problem with larger strollers or a wheelchair.) The shop seemed to have an event going on or having a training day while I was there but even though it was packed I was helped quickly and staff made sure to ask if I had any questions. It was a great place and I will go back next time I am in Huntsville.

Iced Front Porch Special is my favorite, but on that very cold morning yesterday I opted for the hot Sweety Pie Chai. Tried it with all the bells and whistles (aka sugar and cream). It was nice, but really sweet. Next time Ill try it with half the sugar. Love the atmosphere and the super friendly staff. One of the owners rushed in while I was there. He was obviously busy, but he stopped to speak to me. Made me feel like an appreciated customer! Thank you Mr. C. Ill for certain be back!

Piper and Leaf is great tea from a family owned, Southern family. They care about local farmers and use local ingredients. The Lowe Mills location is fun and funky and a delight to visit. Customer service is always superb. And above all else, the tea is absolutely amazing. The staff is always willing to give you the best tips on out to brew hot or cold. I love Piper and Leaf.

My wife and I love Piper and Leaf! We go to the Pizitz location any time we’re in Birmingham and bring our jars! It’s definitely worth buying the jar and getting refills! Don’t forget to bring your punch card in order build up for a free refill! Our favorites are the Front Porch Special, Capri Cream and the Strawberry Shindig But we’re working our way through trying them all! The Pumpkin Moonshine is great too if you love pumpkin!

I drink my coffee black so no sugar or flavoring to cover up a bad cup. Ive only found two places that know how to brew a good cup in Alabama so far, and this is one. Im definitely going back.

Pretty sure Ive come across their supplier online but it was really cool to find a tea shop. The teas were delicious, the guy working that night was super friendly and helpful. Piper and Leaf was one of my favorite places to go for the year we lived in Huntsville. My husband and I made a habit of stopping by Lowe Mill on our way home from work every Friday. The tea is really great and the interactions that I shared with the people who worked there were always so positive and brought a smile to my face. We definitely miss it!

Its a very nice place to get lots of flavored teas. They also serve coffee but arent really a roaster. They have a tiny area for people to sit but you could sit in any number of places in Lowe Mill so its not a problem

So many flavors of teas! They do have different daily samples to try and thats a good thing because its hard to choose what flavor (ALL SO GOOD)! Very knowledgeable staff, they helped me find a tea in several flavors that my hubby can drink without causing kidney stones.

Love getting an Old Fashioned Birthday Cake tea Frother with almond milk... Scrumptious with a nice thick foamy top that tastes slightly caramelized with their simple syrup! So good! Never had a bad experience.

This is probably one of the cutest places to visit around Huntsville. Their tea selections are always top knotch and their employees are always the kindest to me! This location definitely screams Southern with how the place is decorated. Its perfect for hanging out with friends (especially since there is indoor and outdoor seating). This location is definitely one of my favorites.

INCREDIBLE! The flavors are to die for. Honeysuckle is my favorite. It smells absolutely incredible. These teas are worth every penny you will spend. Piper and Leaf will turn you into a hoarder of teas. Youll find yourself walking around with random bags of tea in your pocket and have no idea how they got there, but you will be so glad they are there. They will be your friend, your new Wilson only maybe they wont need a bloody hand print for a face because thats pretty gross when you think about it. The teas will sooth you with the sweet aroma they produce. They will lull you off to sleep and help you be bright eyed in the morn. These teas are life. Theres a flavor to help with everything I suggested (I think, except maybe the Wilson/friends thing. If tea really is your only friend, call a counselor maybe). *Serious face: The teas are incredible, hot or cold. They smell and taste incredible. Pure perfection. Invest in them. The shop is absolutely beautiful too. Picture worthy.

While I have never visited a retail shop, I purchased tea at the Columbus country living fair and I was hooked. The staff was so friendly and the front porch special tea was unforgettably tasty. I mad a second purchase when they began selling tea sachets. I love supporting small businesses and this one is all around awesome! Great tea, great business!

Piper and leaf is a fantastic beverage destination in Huntsville. Their artisan teas are original and delicious. My favorite flavors are healing honeysuckle, lemon berry blush, and piper mint blues. One of my favorite Huntsville originals, I highly recommend visiting.

I tell everyone who asks me whats that? when drinking boba tea (only offered on Saturdays... Wish it was more often) what it is and where to get it. I LOVE Piper and Leaf Tea. The atmosphere of this shop is great. For those that dont know, be aware though ALL they have is tea. You can buy a jar of some iced tea, they have MANY varieties. You can buy some loose leaves to make tea later. They do have coffee, but I wouldnt recommend it. Trust the namesake, get some tea, and it will be DELICIOUS!!!

Charming tea shop with some great, unique blends and a good variety of mainstays and seasonal options for everybody. They also have good coffee, some related retail products, and a passion for their craft.I will say that their tea is not cheap but it is good quality so it is worth the price.

I have been frequenting Piper and Leaf tea since the beginning. It always made my day to see them set up at festivals and events. Once they became established in brick and mortar locations (Huntsville and then later, Madison) I became a regular. Not only do they have the best tea I have ever tasted, they have the best staff and owners. If you have not subscribed to their email list, I strongly urge you to do so. They are the most uplifting positive emails that you will ever receive. I stand 100% behind this company, their products, and their beliefs. I am so honored and blessed to spread the word about their goodness to those unknowing!!

This place is probably good if youre a tea aficionado who likes to analyze the notes of leaves and berries. Otherwise, after trying three times, Id say its just a little too watery, overpriced, and limited in menu.

They sell both hot tea and iced tea, but theyre mostly known for the iced tea, served in Mason jars that are hand-painted with the Piper & Leaf logo -- you pay for your first jar, then you bring it back for half-price refills. You can also get half-price refills at any shop that serves Piper & Leaf tea or at the farmers market, which is pretty great.Im really not a tea person generally -- i love coffee, but I never really got into tea as much. I only tried Piper & Leaf because the bags of tea smelled so good, and because Id heard so many people recommend it after trying it at the farmers market. This tea won me over -- its really fantastic. The flavors and recipes are obviously chosen with care because theyre creative but not in a weird way -- theyre not over-the-top.Piper & Leafs ingredients do a lot to make their tea outstanding. They use fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, and it really does make a huge difference in the tea. Ordinarily, I really dislike fruit teas because I think they taste artificial and fake, but Piper & Leaf uses actual fruit in their teas, and because of that Ive found that their fruit teas are actually some of my favorite flavors.The product is wonderful, but what really sets Piper & Leaf apart is their people. The staff here is friendly and warm and kind. They are excited about service and about their product, and theyre happy to help you find your favorite way to enjoy tea (at their shop, theyll mix the tea with milk, almond milk and flavorings to create custom blends).It seems like, for the staff at Piper & Leaf, tea is a way to serve others and to reach out to people. That commitment to community shows in their business model and in their tea, and it makes me really glad to support them -- I live in Birmingham, but I brew Piper & Leaf loose leaf tea at home even during the off-season when I cant find them at Pepper Place. (For Birminghamians, Piper & Leaf is available at Primeaux and as loose leaf at the Birmingham Museum of Art.)

I dont even like tea and I like their tea. I dont love it to go hang out, but its a good place to drop by on your way to somewhere else. Its expensive the first time, but if you get a jar and just do refills, it gets way cheaper, especially if you pay attention to their specials.

Wow... Im a food person all the way! Not all the time a beverage really stands out from the rest but my hat is off. Matter of fact, when you get your first jar, a moment of silence is owed for what youre about to experience!Definitely, a must experience. And dont forget to grab a gallon to take with you. Im taking about 3 gallons to jersey to allow my family to atleast taste 1 gallon themselves...2 gallons are for me... (dont judge me )...
